Third Round

Participants: Prodigy Keyblade, .Scarlet letter.

Due date: 07/30/2006

Requirements:
- Theme: Mike Shinoda
- Dimensions: 375 px (width) by 175 px (height)
- MUST include a duplication of the stock in a different color

Bans:
- Duplication of the stock in the same color
- Using another image other than the duplication

Reminders:
- Entrants will be given 72 hours (3 days) to post and edit their pieces.

- After the deadline (stated above), other members will be able to vote. The polls are open for 48 hours (2 days) after the initial deadline to non-entrants only. Prodigy Keyblade and .Scarlet letter. cannot vote, but are feel to say anything about the other piece. If you post before the deadline, your vote will not be counted.

- You must post at least three sentences about the piece you are voting for, and at least one sentence of constructive criticism for the other piece. Failure to comply will result in your vote not counting.

Prod's tag had some nice background smudging, and the lighting's good.
The dup's colors is cool and smooth, the tag's nice, though I think you could've worked more on it, like blending in the dup instead of have it separated, but it works.

Scarlet's tag was waay too contrasted, and I don't like the dissolved part.
The vectors in the background looks nice, but the lines over the dup just killed it for me.
If you had lowered the contrast a little and made the background less empty and made it flow more, you could've had my vote.

Some very nice smudging, the stock blends in well, the tag just flows well, and the duplication doesn't look awkward, like many dupes often do.

SL's looks too contrasted, and the dissolved part doesn't really work in a tag like this, imo.
