Lightbulb Mid Summer Tournament?
Mid Summer's Eve Tournament


Well for crow, malibu, and sir.lancelot, "winter", but whatever. (i think)
Anyway, I was watching Yu Yu Hakusho for the past few hours, and its given me this new found energy for some healthy competition. Sometimes, anime can do this.

Our Competition section is one hot tamale next to our main critiquing sector. So, why not? In between my voluptuous bannings, I think you lot tried it. Not sure if it worked or not. But regardless of past history, I think this section is apt enough to give it another shot.

Just for the spirit of competition.
fighting against your friends.
and seeing which tag style comes out on top for the next few months.

Since we're lucky enough to sustain an influx of some old DM comrades from the olden' days (look at the current and now past SOTW winners, har har har) - so the battles are going to definitely be interesting. It doesn't matter where your skill's at right now. It's just about fighting the good fight. Brush
for brush, layer for layer, and all that good shit.

Then even though we might be fighting our friends, lets mix things up, round wise.
Like for each round, there'd be a new theme; fixed stock, fixed psd, theme, focal, etc.
Lets do this so anyone can turn out the victor instead of just the usual bunch.

I'll leave it to our loyal mod gods over this section to determine who fights who at random.
like pulling names out of a hat or whatever.

As far as judging goes, we'll just have a second thread with each fight be created where everyone can come in (familiar member or not) can vote for their favorite. There isn't any material prize to win in this competition. You'll just be battling it out to have the opportunity to present the best that you can do against someone else. It feels good, trust me.
