For enchants for Ryu, its best really to go with basic spells over the ra's. Using Quake and Water is better then using Quakera. Thats just me tho... I find it better. The more you have, the more chances you have of them casting and the more damage you can do.

i see your point. im taking the thought of beating him with all str i think it's better for me atm cause i didn't spend days/weeks on arcane training

yeeah only problem is i can't figure out how to do decent damage. im useing enchanted weapons but i can't even take a chunk from him

How much Mag are you using when you are fighting him o.O? You should be able to kill him easily o-o

O_o you should be doing cap damage with enchants. You do know that the magic can only do about 75 for each one right? 75 damage for blizzard and water. Quake 115, Thunder uncapped, Fire is 65. Aero 70. its going to take a long time to fight him o.O I saw someone do max damage with chants with 165 magic against him.

that's what im saying i don't even take a small amount b4 he kills me. and the enchants miss 9/10

Thats the only bad thing with enchants =/ The magic you are using for the enchants need to be maxxed or leveled fairly high. If you don't want to train all the magics then you can use str... but its harder to beat him with str. You'll do a good bit of hits that deal 0 damage. Especially when he has Earth Wall casted. If you do go str, make sure to use Ice Lance. It has the highest wep str and it gives str and def which you'll need.

If you mean just casting spells to beat a boss, you'll never win. You'll need to regain MP all the time, and if you don't have aspil you really can't Gain MP back without it unless you have a rod sleight. Enchants are better then casting magic as well... you can have 3 or more enchants cast and do 300+ damage in one turn, or just cast blizzara and do 125. The magic system in the current inferno is a tad broken. You really can't win anything besides PvP battles with just casting spells =/

here's what i was thinking. i use blizzara to lower his spead then i get more chjances to hit him with the enchants. i was gonna have all the basic enchants on my weapons. fire, ice, and lightning on one then water quake and aero on the other.

blizzara will only lower his speed by 10. taking Ryu from 115 to 105 wont give you another turn. as well, water, quake, and aero = 28 points. you wouldnt be able to do that.
