Ummm you seem to be the most active member besides me on here, so let's battle. Power characters. I'll be using my character from my most recent thread. Too lazy to go bring him up. Sorry

As do I. Just letting you know, I may be a little too active. I have this disorder, where I can't avoid loading up on too many battles. I'll post, definitely, but I can't promise I can post to the speed of some people's liking. I'll definitely go for at least once a week though, if you don't mind. More if this is higher priority.

You'll be using your Plague character I'm assuming? Either that or Courage, I'm not quite sure which. As for my character, I'll be using a new concept, so I'll have to post it up when I come back from Tae Kwon Do later tonight. This is just to let you know, I accept.

When Sanctus Third walks into view, the first thing someone might notice is the pair of ordinary, beat up white sneakers which wrap themselves around his size 12 feet. Covered with the dust of a thousand worlds, the soles themselves are held together only by their own dying will. Covering up his shoes slightly is his pair of slightly baggy, and equally dirty, jeans. These blue jeans are faded, as if almost a dull grey, and they are frayed at the hems, while also being torn at the knees, revealing his dark toned skin underneath. These jeans are held up with an ordinary brown belt, the buckle being an interesting golden design, like that of a flame pointed sideways. Covering his toned and muscular upper body is a simple white undershirt, which is covered in turn by an unzippered grey hooded sweatshirt. He usually pulls the hood up to cover his face, casting a dark and mysterious shadow over his head. When the hood is off however, it reveals his ebony brown skin, like that of a deep dark chocolate bar. His hair is drawn into tight dreadlocks, which fall down his head easily, as if naturally in place. His face is usually calm, collected, yet full of a serene spiritual awareness and peace that usually sets others aback. This expression however, can go from peaceful blankness, to a burning passionate focus in merely seconds. His face is smooth, and clean shaven, and his eyes are a deep golden, giving him the appearance of a tiger when the shadow of his hood is cast upon them.

Personality
Sanctus Third is a generally calm man. He walks slowly, breathes easily, and moves with a sense of peace which most do not have. While he does not consider himself to be highly intelligent, he can be considered wise, and he has a way of seeing the meaning of things, beyond what most see. He is a man of revelations and of understanding, of watching and looking. He is not a man of speaking, or a man of rash words. While some see this as being weak, he prefers seeing it as being aware. This is not to say he does not experience anger. When he burns with a righteous fury to make a wrathful God jealous, his eyes burn like a smoldering fire, and his smooth and graceful body becomes one of powerful action. What many consider to be a flaw in his personality however, is his tendency toward forgiveness and second chances. He will not accept someone as pure evil, no matter their insistence.

On a side note, he has a rather fondness for birds.

Power
The Power within Sanctus Third is strange thing… is it a substance? Is it a state of mind? Is it simply an existence? Whatever it is, it burns within Sanctus Third with ferocity of a thousand hurricanes.

Sanctus Third’s worn human body is consumed by a powerful spiritual energy, which has fused with his own soul in order to create a new spiritual essence to live in his body. This essence, this fiery energy, is bound within his body by a cosmic force so powerful, that to forcibly rip it from his body is nigh impossible. This spiritual inferno of energy cannot be drained, nor can it be destroyed, as it is both replenished by Sanctus’s own inner spirituality. However, what is the purpose of this furnace of spiritual power? What gifts does it give?

The easiest way to understand Sanctus’s power to simply classify it as an extremely heightened spiritual awareness and influence. This heightened awareness of spirituality grants him the following abilities:

Awareness- The first of Sanctus’s abilities. Sanctus is simply aware of things on a spiritual level, to the degree that it borders not on omniscience, but on omnipiphany, where he simply is aware of things happening. This results in the following abilities:

Wisdom and Knowledge- Wisdom, which is evident in his personality, and the aptitude for knowledge. Sanctus is able to retain knowledge he has read, seen, or heard about, with relative ease.

Intuitive Aptitude- As part of his awareness, Sanctus can understand how many things, people, and creatures operate based on simply being near them. His abilities have been used to catch criminals, for he is capable of understanding their motives and their goals by simply looking at them.

Spiritual Discernment- Sanctus is able to see and feel spirituality around him. While this gives him the capability to see otherwise invisible spirits, such as angels and demons, it also allows him to discern ill intent or genuine goodness from a people around him. Sometimes he is unable to focus this discernment in a crowd of people however, instead getting a generally feeling from the people around him.

Prophecy- While this doesn’t range to instant precognition, Sanctus is able to make short-term or long-term prophecies by his intense spiritual awareness. He enters a trance when this happens, and it is often not useful to use during interaction with other people, due to the state of vulnerability it puts him in. This can also extend to uncalled visions if he accidentally opens himself up too much to spirituality around him.

Tongues- Sanctus, through his intense awareness, is capable of understanding and speaking any language spoken by a being that contains sentience and life. The most common exceptions to this are animals and the unintelligent undead.

Influence- Sanctus is so intertwined with the Omniverse on a spiritual level, he is capable of influencing various elements of the cosmos through a light spiritual push. These can result in various outcomes, including :

Healing- Through a version of the energy burning inside him, which manifests itself in a burning, cleansing fire-like energy, Sanctus can heal most wounds, from fatal to mundane, depending on the concentration of the energy. However, the more complex the injury, such as diseases, the more concentration, and energy must be used. He does this by influencing the body to heal, through his interaction with the soul.

Life- Similar to healing, Sanctus can use this intense spiritual energy to influence and stimulate life. This ‘life-energy’ can be used to grow plants from the ground, to hatch birds from an egg, or even bring a dead body back to life. However, the most interesting trait of this life-energy, is the creation of life itself, by influencing this life energy to form into reality. Sanctus can animate statues and other normally immobile creations with a burst of this life-energy.

Exorcism- By forcing another version of this energy into another person Sanctus can influence dark spirits, dark thoughts, or other detractions of spiritual cleanliness from the body, leaving only what he desires left. The more evil, stands to reason, the more energy is required.

Element- Sanctus, by using the spiritual furnace inside of him to influence the natural elements around him, is capable of influencing (not manipulating) several natural elements. These include fire, water, oil, light, and clouds.

Sanctus is able to influence other elements that have spiritual connections to the Omniverse, but often must experience them first before having any influence over them.

Miracle- The strangest of Sanctus’s powers.
