Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Uh...yeah I'm testing out a new character that I just made. It's not perfect yet and I'll probably have changes to him. Open challenges, non-continuum, power-characters, 1 on 1. Normal rules (obviously). Here's the template. It'll be first come first served. First person to post a template will be my opponent, and thus be able to choose the setting as well as the opening post. Anyway, here's the template: Name: Project Valhus Category: Artificial Ectoplasm/spirit Description: After the successes with Project Axiala, the Rokazu Research Institute continued to further their military power with the continuation of a previously failed attempt of the development of an artificial intelligence basing on the Astral Plane. That there is nothing more than psionic energy and particles within the Plane, creating an artificial intellect basing on the Astral as its basic Plane seemed impossible. But the Rokazu was confident that it could reproduce an atomic bot from Project Axiala (which then they had sent on to other parts of the galaxy exploring and colonizing new worlds), except this time it would be based upon the Astral. Similar effects met Rokazu scientists until they realized that the “new” Axiala could not stabilize and exist as one single psionic particle just as Axiala had with the atom. It spent the nation another three and a half decades (a dangerously close-call for that was five years before Axiala was commissioned for retirement and…destruction originally, and Rokazu needed to rely on a super weapon to maintain its galactic-empire) to create an artificial conscience (also basing on a biological magician) within the Astral. As a resulting product, the new A.I., known now as Project Valhus (or simply Valhus), existed as an artificial ectoplasm. Its nature was almost like a living spirit, except that usual soul-deteriorating weapons (such as the one on Axiala) is not effective. Its entire form can be dispersed and Valhus would still be able to regenerate itself. The minimum size of Valhus’s reminiscence in the physical plane is – coincidentally like Axiala – the size of a lithium atom. Because of its Astral-based construction, Valhus itself has no physical form. However, one interesting aspect of Valhus is that it is able to “touch” and manipulate physical matter to an extent. Capabilities: When attempting to understand Project Valhus, one important discoveries that the Rokazu had made must also be incorporated with this…artificial creation (for it is technically not a machine), for its capabilities rely on the manipulation of what is discovered. The difference of the Astral Plane and the Physical Plane has long since been understood by the Rokazu civilization however it has never been understood as to what the cause is. As they experimented with the Astral-based A.I., the Rokazu came across a new…existence – for it is neither matter nor energy, smaller than even quarks and anti-quarks or force carriers – Rokazu realizes that when they transfer a certain object into the Astral, its nature actually remained the same. The reason it seems to have lost all of its physical properties is that there is nothing physical for it to react with. Then, by removing this object from what they call the Omniversal Desideratum of Existence (ODE), the tested object simply vanished. No trace of the tested object was left; for some reason the Omniversal law of equilibrium was suddenly lost. Scientists associated with magicians to repeat the same experiments with different sorts of matter and energy – and even anti-matter and anti-energy – and other substances on various planes to conclude with the same result. In the end, Rokazu concluded and categorized known Omniversal existences to be of one or more of the following: essential, spiritual, magical, physical, planar spatial, temporal, probable, inter-planar, processional, and existential. It is concluded and confirmed that all of these rely on the ODE to exist. Connecting the similarities between this newfound reaction (the only one which does not conservation of mass and energy) with magic, which overall also ignores the same law. What they discover is – what the Rokazu came to believe – the actual mechanism of magic. They discover that most Omniversal beings can go only as far as “thinking” in their awareness of a concept. These beings are actually relatively more “intelligent” than ones that cannot; one such example is humanoid civilizations that exist solely relying on logic and reality of their physical plane. Some beings can achieve far more by realizing the thought concept into reality. This ability to simultaneously conjure a phenomenon or even a materialistic substance is more commonly known by Omniversal beings as “magic.” A most common form of Conceptual Realization is phenomenal conjuration, where the concept realized in a certain point in the Omniverse is already a previously “imagined” concept – or a “known possibility.” To perform magic, one must imagine a certain object or phenomenon to be created; the ODE infested in the concept, with the help of energy, would then connect with ODE that infests the environment, and according alters realistic composition of substance, energy, space, time, and even probability to allow the event to take place. History: Not yet completed. |

| :|Your Personal|: {Jesus} | I got this Name(s): Bellefast (Tenzo) Title: Life Weaver Age: 32 (307) Gender: Male (Demon) Species: Sarkan Appearance: Bellefast/Tenzo has an infinite number of shapes and forms, and no solid, standard shape. Personality: Bellefast is generally a happy person. Light-spirited, energetic, fanciful and imaginative. Makyu's influence on him was heavy, and yet, he has maintained his personality. He is never very serious, never being able to focus and always cracking jokes, and because of this his enemies often don't take him seriously. That is, until Tenzo appears. Tenzo, on the other hand, is a sinister entity. His concentration is solid, his persona dark, and his presence on the battlefield marks the institution of a definitive slaughter. His focus is extremely objective and, conflicting heavily with Bellefast, he intends to complete this objective and move on to the next, making him appear very short-sighted and closed-minded, balancing out Bellefast's fanciful nature. Abilities: Bellefast has a unique and strange ability. Being that he has no body or basic structure, his essence is thus composed of a matter-less energy, allowing him to pass through any structure or physical entity, of a material or magical nature, with few exceptions. He is capable of emitting a voice pattern by manipulating the wavelengths of his energy form in order to create sound waves. However, his greatest power lies in the manipulation of living cells. Bellefast has the ability to sap the life force from any living thing near him within the radius of an entire planet. When doing so, he drains the life from the cells of the organism and uses them to mold, shape, and create life. He can manipulate these creatures at will, and even combine his own energy signature with that of these living beings in order to meld their life forces and assume the body like a shell. His powers of creation are only limited by his imagination, and his supply of life-charged organisms. Tenzo imbued with a slightly different power, and the swaps between Bellefast and Tenzo can happen at any moment, instantaneously, however most often they both can be active, Tenzo is merely dormant. Tenzo is capable of speeding up the cellular reproduction process, complementing Bellefast's powers in an incalculable number of ways. Story: Bellefast was born in Sarka 11 years before Makyu's initial visit. When the undead soldier arrived, he took up Bellefast as his disciple and escort into the many libraries and studies the planet held, which led to Makyu's discovery of the life force creation, and his acquisition of the Sarkan Diamonds. This discovery was made possible upon Makyu's discovery of Bellefast's strange and unique abilities. He discovered the boy had the power to control and manipulate all forms of life, and used the boy's powers to delve into the subject with great depth. During the 6 years Makyu trained and experimented with the boy, a strange presence had begun to develop itself inside of the boy. Makyu suspected it to be a symbiote, a sort of parasite that was known to exist on Sarka that turbo-charged the aging process. Once fully-integrated into Bellefast's body, it began attempting to control and age the boy. His strange powers conflicted with the parasite's effects and the results were intense. The boy began to age rapidly while his cells disintegrated. Acting quickly, Makyu used the diamonds to extract the elements from Bellefast's body, using the boy's powers to help with the stable extraction, leaving behind nothing but the energy signatures of Bellefast and the parasite. The resulting cataclysm forced the parasite to fuse with Bellefast on a meta-physical level, and in turn it developed a mental state and personality expressed through Bellefast's own mind. Bellefast now had a second personality, no body, and a slew of strange and intriguing abilities. As a result, Makyu helped Bellefast to train himself to use these powers, and showed the boy the exact science of creating life, enabling the him to procreate life with his own hands. Bellefast had begun to play God, and the possibilities were endless. Upon hearing of the ascension of his former master, Bellefast, 32 years after Makyu left Sarka, headed off into the "final frontier", aiming to complete and fulfill the legacy Makyu left behind, and fulfill the secret purpose that the Lord of Dark Light had left for him. Theme Song: {Bellefast} Boys Like Girls - The Great Escape {Tenzo} Sick Puppies - Cancer

| :|Your Personal|: {Jesus} | OOC: If I wanted to be cheap, I could just toss us into a bustling metropolitean city, a jungle, or hell even a zoo, but I guess I'll play fair game. That, and this is quite an interesting and innovative place to do battle. Neither of us have lungs, correct? I can assume not, you're an AI. Though, if I'd used Makyu this battle would have been close and shut, again, I like things to be.....interesting. But I would like to question, is your fighter's connection to this plane organic? Whether it is or not....I may have my strategy. I'll make my first post after your response.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | hey ED, sorry about the delay; I haven't been on since ever... Anyway, the answer to your question is no; Valhus's connection to physical plane is not organic. If you would still like to battle, you may start your post any time you can. |

| :|Your Personal|: {Jesus} | What appeared to be a "shark-man" was seen swimming through the ocean at a breakneck pace, driven by what could only have been an unnatural impulse, no instinct would drive a creature to this limit. All of a sudden, the creature stopped, for no apparent reason, and his eyes scanned the water with unnerving ferocity. Bellefast was not the only unnatural entity on this planet, this ocean seemed to be inhabitted by another being not of this world, possibly not even of this plane, and it was to this being that he was drawn. An energy source radiated from this creature, not unlike that which Makyu emanated at various times when in his undead form. Though it had no conspicuous form, Bellefast could sense it's presence and it's energy was vast, possibly extremely dangerous.....possibly a great asset to the completion of his "mission". As Bellefast squared off with this oddity, numerous locals of the marine environment circled around them, this strange encounter littered with spectators that almost clustered and clogged the space around them. These onlookes watched with great intensity, as if they knew what would follow..... "You have an interesting power.....what are you? A spirit?" **No....he is your tool....CLAIM HIM!**

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | “Initial status checked.” A technician declared, “Project Valhus, initial stage, stabilized; dispatching A.I. into Physical Plane in 3…2…1…Project Valhus released.” There was no visible change in the location where Valhus had entered the Physical Plane, or rather, where he should have entered. “Project Valhus stabilization in Physical Plane confirmed. Energy-efficiency maintaining at 98.2 percent excluding external energy source.” The Rokazu technician said coolly yet confidently several seconds after. Still on the monitoring screen there was nothing to be seen. All that was shown was a gigantic expanse of a deep, blue ocean. On another screen where energy waves dominated in place of visual sensory, a gray mist was suspended weightlessly about 50 feet above the surface of the water. It was motionless, yet moving. There was an eerie silence except for the constant splashes of water waves on the ocean. The mist silently and obediently awaited instructions. “Capability testing. Target at 2 miles from current position of Valhus, effect expanse 1mm by 1mm by 1mm.” On neither of the visual and energy sensory screens nothing had occurred. Two miles away, there was a small cube like object emitting a weak but constant gamma radiation. Suddenly, a small but much more noticeably distinct blackness replaced the cube; then immediately, gamma radiation had ceased. There may have been a fraction of a millisecond before the flux had stopped, but it was not significant. The blackness faded from the visual screen, but on the energy sensory, the distinct black dot of the precise dimension described by the technician remained. Valhus remained indifferent as the technician declared the retrieval of the artificial intellect. “You have an interesting power.....what are you? A spirit?” A voice rang into Valhus’s sensors. For the first time, perhaps, since its creation, Valhus would have decided to disobey order to retreat; that was, if the technician had decided to call it back despite of the voice. But the man permitted the A.I. to investigate, releasing the artifact’s working capacity to 80 percent potentials. Tracing the source of the message, Valhus headed for the coordinates, which was underwater. The mist displaced from its original position for the first time, but at speeds far greater than what it seemed capable of. As Valhus submerged the mist stayed strangely together as though it was a solid, with a gaseous outlook...Silently as always yet, the A.I. approached the figure. |
