okay i'm kinda confused, during the events in CoM what are donald and goofy doing while sora was battling through the castle? because the donald and goofy that traveled with him in the castle were only peices of soras memory. it might be completely irrelevant but its just something i was wondering....please clarify for me

They appeared every so often in the worlds and they just had to wait until Sora passed the floor or got to one of those aforementioned spots where they appeared out of nowhere.

I figure they were in the thirteenth floor partying until teleported to Sora

Oh I get your questions. Actually they were with him. All the time. Those guys you see exiting and entering floors are actually Donald and Goofy. And their memories were getting mixed up too.

Nope, Donald and Goofy were the real Donald and Goofy. The Cards were a means to call them back.
As for where they were, while never truly explained, it was mentioned in the game. They really, literally did just disappear. Supposedly into a white light.

ii just figured thats what they did but when did they specifically say this in the game. sorry havent played ReCom in awhilie

Right after the first toturial fight with Marluxia. They asked what happened since they disappeared and described what went on with them before they reappeared for the scene.

k thanks, i might need to go back through and play it again or just watch all the scenes in theatre mode cause i have forgotten most of it

To show the power of Memories. Those outfits are ones they had from before. It's to indicate the progress they made was nullified - much like all their abilities disappeared.
