Default Marluxia and Luxord
I was thinking it would make more sense if marluxia and luxord switched roles.because: Luxord controls cards, and castle oblivion runs off cards. also, Luxord summoned a grim reaper in port royal, and i thought it would be better with marluxia because of his scyth. feedback please

I liked Marluxia in CoM and if they'd switched him out, alot of things would've ended up different. I wouldn't really like it if Luxord was at the heart of the place instead of Marluxia.

The point of those specific roles is Luxord is a silvertounge and cunning, and Port Royal would be the perfect place for him to mess things up. It wouldn't really make any sense for him to be the lord of CO, or else the whoe card system might be changed, because Luxord handles the card thing as a gamble. And the whole point of Marluxia being the lord of CO is because he was a traitor. I don't think they're weapons should have anything to do with it

Really.

Luxord was the best man for CoM and some of the KHII Org members were better for CoM.

Luxord isn't just obsessed about cards. He just likes gambling in general (stop dice reaction).
And C.O is decorated with lots of white flowers.

But I just prefer them the way they were.

Luxord - KH2.

To me, battling in the CoM style was a gamble.

I dunno. I saw the cards in COM to be more of a gameplay thing rather than story, and just there to give Sora's worlds existence. In COM you fought with cards, but Sora and the Organization weren't literally throwing cards at each other. So no cards were literally used in battle, therefore Luxord doesn't need to be present. And Marluxia was leader of Castle Oblivion for a reason, because Xemnas knew of his treachery.

It would have been nice to have a little more character development on Luxords part (I'm kind of a fan, can you tell?). But I seriously doubt the Luxord character was created before KH2. He wasn't really expanded upon, along with his name being an obvious allusion to the Luxor casino's in Vegas.

Also, the grim reaper was in reference to the whole death theme of PoC. After all, it was a veritable maelstrom of avarice...=D

Same here dude. I'm a major Luxie fan and hate that despite the bullshit Nomura puts that he loves Luxord, bastard won't get much development.

And the constant gambling term references in Days was a little much. I liked him more in KH2, intellectual, witty, brevet...oh and awesome XD

Well you also have to put into perspective that almost none of the villains in KH2 had any character development AT ALL. A shame really, considering that the game had two of my favorite Organization members, Saix and Xigbar.

Well at least Xigbar will return in BBS undoubtedly, and Saïx was featured in Days, and probably a little in BBS shown with Lea. I doubt they will make a trip to the casino just for Luxord...

I could imagine Marluxia taking Luxord's place in KH2 and Luxord being the one trying to rebel against the organization but they are still good characters as they are.
