Rep Power: 0 ![]() Level: EXP: | REVIEW! even though this came out last year, I'm still going to give my opiniions, I just got this game recently, and I havent played much, but from what Ive played, I must say this is one of, if not THE best game in the series so far, (not accounting for days, which I havn't played), the card system, may appear sloppy and difficult to use at first, but thru time and practice, can be easily dealt with, get it dealt with? HAHAHAha, oh nvrm... SOPILERS START HERE! the game starts out at the 'crossroads', where we see Donald, Goofy, and of course, Sora, chasing after Pluto, who appears to be holding a letter form the King, the chase carries on, and eventually we see Sora, Donald and Goofy sleeping on the top of a hill, Sora gets up, and meets up with a mysterious, cloaked man, who will later be revealed as Marluxia, the main antagonist of the game. He lures Sora down a path that leads them to 'Castle Oblivion'. upon entering the castle, all abilities and powers learned in the first game, are deleted, leaving you to regain your strengh, and your memories. memories you ask? well, Castle oblivion is a place used by the Organization, as a sort of headquarters, everyone who enters the castle, have there memories wiped clean, and Cards, are the only way to regain them. SPOILERS END HERE!!!! this game is a 3-D remake of the 2005, Kibngdom Hearts Chain of Memories, GBA game. it was 2D, and lacked a majority of the asthetics and shear AWESOEMNESSS of the other games in the current series. When Kingdom Hearts 2 was released in Final Mix form in Japan, Kh RE: COM came with it, Recom was mostly the same as the GBA version, only it was in 3-D, it had extra features, it was awesome, and it was only in Japanese, Square-Enix found the remixed title worthy of appraisal in the USA, and it was translated, and then shipped here. it was released December 2nd, 2008, and was technically the 6th KH game made (including FM's) the spoilers above arent to bad for those who care, they wont tell you much about the story. Hope this was helpful, I mostly made it cause I saw some threads about 'is RE: COM worth it?', so I figured I'd whether it was or not. Enjoy! no flaming please... EDIT: some spelling mistakes corrected, and some more detail done Last edited by RoxSoxKH; September 29th, 2009 at 07:08 AM. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | this thread is pointless, most of the people here already played or dont care about the game anymore. people are focusing on birth by sleep and coded. and no this isnt one of the best games in the series at all. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Level: 20 EXP: | We already know all this. :/ Actually, it kinda is. :v It doesn't have the sloppy story-telling skills that KH2 possessed, nor the choppy battle system that KH1 had. It had new, interesting characters and plenty character development for everyone. While Disney worlds were redundant, they weren't the main focus this time. The main focus was saving Namine. |
