@Mistearea: I see no problems. I'll let Cort be the judge here.

Superhero Alias: Solus
Age: Based off of Earth years, Gios is 24, but about 350 in Fyoli years.
A race of ancient warriors whose power over fire symbolizes their immense fighting spirits, and that is why they are nearly extinct. In ancient times, this race of fire-wielders were the most dominant race in the far reaches of the universe. Their physical appearance varied on their power and level. To each level of power there came a specific “skin” of sorts. For those of the highest power, they took the appearance of a human, but those of lower levels took forms of mythological creatures. It was during the formation of Earth, that this race was simmered down to a mere number of dozens.
Homeworld to the Efsves, this planet has many sides to it; some good and some bad. A major part of this planet’s survival - even to this day - is how graceful, and beautiful the scenery is . With mountain ranges that reach as high as the sky, and lush green meadows that were at its peak of spring time. Skies were mainly blue, but on storm nights, they were fire-red. Being home to a warrior race, the entire planet had several temples and dojos for the needs of these fighters to excel at their powers, and fighting techniques. The very core of this planet lies a spirit of incredible power that is said to be the very essence of fire itself. And that legend be told that one day that power would be transferred over to one individual.
Warrior spirit runs through Gios’ veins. This is present in the way he fights, and the way he acts. Honor and integrity is the most important thing to him. On first meeting him, Gios is respectful, and courteous to whomever is in front of him. He will offer up his name as a sign of mutual respect. Battle-wise, he is scary, but valiant; not showing weakness, but also not being heartless.
In times of peace, his free-spirit evolves into a guy who enjoys a good time, and takes great pride in what he does and who he is. Also religious, Gios does not take kindly to disrespect to his “master”
With Dashing good looks, Gios’
hair flows down to his mid-back, with a shade of pitch black. Eyes glaring at you would give you a close-up, and you would see golden eyes complemented by a light tan. To hold his bangs golden tiara-like accessory keeps his hair up from covering his eyes. To the left, a red hair tie holds a part of his hair in a braided fashion. In a complement to his hair and eyes, a marking that every Efsves is branded with, the symbol of fire is underneath his left eye, shaded a basic red color, with a dim-white outline. Lastly, about his hair, Gios keeps his hair tied up in layers of braids and small ponytails.
In a compliment to his hair, Gios’ height comes up to six feet even, and with an athletic build, he comes to a two-hundred and thirty pounded-weight. Though muscles are not seen because he wears a Chinese-traditional robe. A tan-colored underling, and fire-red overcoat holds this robe together is a brown, leather belt layered to a three inch height. At the edge of the shoulders is the symbol of the Chinese Fire Dragon. On his wrists are black wrist bands where it cuts off to a triangle shape with a golden, metal plating right before the beginning of his hand.
Gios' Costume(just yellow and orange instead of black)
- A sword forged from fire itself, Ang-Erasmus is the very thing that legend has for told, for a blade that is the sole manifest of fire itself, can grant its wielder any amount of power it so desires, if the wielder has equal power of the blade itself. Before being grasped by its owner, this blade takes the form of your regular Knight’s Sword. A golden hilt with brown textures, this blade(in normal form) has a hole of sorts on the bottom, and the brownness of the hilt follows, with a golden hand guard that has a strait surface(when looking at with blade pointed upward), but curves on the other side, only to stop at equal ends. The blade itself is made only of the hardest steel, and the most sturdiest at that. It’s sheathed on Gios’ back in a black sheath, with the symbol of fire in the center.
When this weapon is activated by the single touch of Gios’ hand, a burst of flames erupt from the center, and literally make the sword appear as it were an extension of fire. And In such terms, the sword of fire is thus created.
Black cotton as base, this pair of gauntlets
have a hard leather substance, but smooth in appearance, and touch. Shiny to a T, patterns of red jewels are seen throughout them. With sharpness on each end of where the fingers slide into, they act as a physical weapon for the gauntlets, but the true nature of Garotto is still unseen, and undetermined. The only thing known is that Gios wears them at all times, and has been seen to use them for the introduction of his power, though not proven.
Donum Volcanus(Gift of Fire God)~
Granted that limitations are needed for certain situations, complete mastery of fire, and all of its properties are given here. With the aid of the fire spirit of his homeworld, and all of its powers, Gios is not only able to use fire itself in basic attack formations, but also he is able to use it in any way he sees fit, and at will. The very essence of fire is molded into his very core, so using this power is like breathing to him, and as such it does not strain him, or in the worst-case scenario, decrease his life-span. In short, most forms of fire are at his disposal.
Some of the other powers that come in with assoiation of Gios’ unique fire manipulation:
With this ability, Gios can use the fire control inside him to disappear and reappear wherever he desires. The way this ability works is that the user(Gios in this case) can use the surrounding atoms to produce a flurry of flames to consume them, and teleport them to a destination of their choosing. In more simple terms, it’ll be like this..
Now you see him, now you don’t
Oops, where’d he go.
Oh, he’s behind you.
True, this ability is a part of Cosmic Fire Manipulation, but it’s still different to a degree. This ability grants Gios power from the sun, to put it in other words. The reason this is different from pure fire manipulation is that instead of just fire, Gios also gains minor control over gravitational fields, magnetic fields, raw nuclear energy. Some effects from this grant Gios the ability to produce solar winds and/or flares, though very light winds and/or flares. Some other effects include to be able to generate geological storms on a light scale
Cosmic Fire Manipulation:
An ability that takes the forms of fire strait from the cosmos. By generating the fires from comets, meteors, asteroids, stars, planets, nebulas, quasars, suns, and solar winds, Gios can control the flames that have no need for oxygen. The intensity of them all are so high, they can vaporize weaker materials with ease. The result of this power is so much that it could reduce the target to nothing but ash, but that’s only if Gios can control such a power. Which he needs practice in doing so.
Master Fighting Skills:
Being trained by some of the best that Fyoli has to offer, *Gios has some of the best fighting skills of anyone he knows. It’s true he doesn’t have proper training like those of Earth, but the teachings he got from Fyoli are just as good. These skills demonstrate such forms like advanced weapons training, *Martial Arts, Wrestling, Boxer, and really any kind of fighter. Gios possesses this simply due to his training, and that’s all there is to it.
Gios is also really smart. This can definitely be applied to how he can use atoms in his fire manipulation. It’s also how his own fighting style is his own, and not just some cheap knock-off like some people nowadays have. He understands how the human body works. This is probably how Gios gets away with using precise movements, and exact hits on the pressure points in his *points of battle.
Superhuman Physical Attributes:
Through various training regimes, Gios has developed a rather interesting superhuman level of his attributes. The rough training has built up his endurance, the long hours of training has built his durability. *His long hours of running has helped him increase his agility and speed. * From all of this training, Gios’ reflexes had risen quite a bit.
Advanced Athleticsim :
The results of his training also comes with Gios possessing athleticism that surpasses even some of the greatest heroes such as Captain America and Spider-Man. Granted he comes from a different planet, but it still is mighty impressive. Take away Gios’ *fire powers, he still has the superhuman capabilities, and the fighting style to still be on par of the best of the best.
Yes, another feat that comes from Gios’ training. He knows how to use swords, and use them well he does. It doesn’t matter if it’s his own, or just a simple Katana, Gios can use it effectively. He has such a high skill level in this particular skill, he can use it to deflect bullets, blasts or almost any kind of projectile, to be blunt. He also can slice up somebody in half if he wanted to. This doesn’t make him unstoppable. Gios isn’t a master swordsman, so there’s still shit he needs to learn.History:
History of Fyoli
In the early stages of the Universe - the universe that the “lord” was responsible for - not only created this universe, but along with an alternate universe entirely. It’s in this other universe where the planet of Fyoli resides, and where all un-realistic manners that Earthlings see, and all that is the supernatural reside. In this region - this verse, the Efsves race hovers , and claims the title of “Most Dominant Race”. With the very existence of fire being the core of their power, they can either make your day the greatest or even the worst. It’s because of this that, even with most of this alternate universe ceasing to exist, Fyoli is the only planet that has survived a mass-holocaust .
This mass-holocaust was just nature doing its work. With Supernovas, and other astrological disasters happening relatively close to where Fyoli was, but not close enough to present it in any real danger, this world escaped not 1, not 2, but three series’ of supernovas exploding. One might say that this world is chosen by fate to be the only planet to be left in another universe of its own. While this might be true, the spirit of Fyoli grows weak, and if this flame spirit were to pass on, the only hope of surviving would be that one Efsves among the hundreds would rise up, and claim his/her rightful place as Guardian of the Heaven Flame. And so brings the attention to said individual…
Gios - the early years
According to those of Earth years, Gios was lightly born in 1000 B.C. His looks resemble a young man, but age goes over a millennia. On a planet whose core is the very essence of flame, Gios’ nature is of the fire affinity. It was always like this, and every Efsves on Fyoli has a fire element, but each is different. Gios was a very rare case indeed. Though for the first half of his life, Gios didn’t show any exceptional talent, as far as the ancient prophecy is concerned, there wasn’t any reason to take note of Gios’ existence specifically. It wasn’t until the age of three-hundred(10 in Earth years), that Gios showed slight hints of rare talent. It was on this day that his fire powers grew into something that only the prophecy could foretell.
One day, a young flare of youth will demonstrate the kind of fire that cannot be copied. When the flames ignite, the child will then be rightfully known as the Guardian of Heaven Flame, and he shall be my heir.
Gios of course, had to work very hard to maintain this power that most say he would never be shown to use ever again. It was at the early age, that it his power was only seen because of an emotional breakthrough, so that caused the elders, and even some of the kids among him to doubt him, and criticize him. Gios wanted to prove them wrong. With the very thing he controls - the fire - it burned in his eyes, and several years upon that one day, he learned how to harness his own power, but he still wasn’t the “guardian”. In order for one to be the “one”, they must go through a series of trials, and tests.
Gios - Entering Guardianship, and meeting Makaru-Hika
Years, and years from his childhood, Gios grew up to be the strongest in all of Fyoli, but he still wasn’t met at the stage of where the prophecy would be met. He had the build, he had the drive, but lacked the necessary power to be the one in legend. With him being the superior monk of the First Church of Makaru, Gios knows everything there is about the prophecy. He knows that, he is indeed the one in the prophecy, but for some reason Makaru-Hika has refused to manifest itself into a physical being, and grant him the power of the Heaven Flame. Lower-level monks, warriors, and even his family knows that Gios has been denied the right of that power, but yet, they understand completely. Unless Gios can obtain that one last piece of his soul that he needs, there will be no granting of any power for him.
In his mind, Gios knows that he must come at peace, but in the years he’s been the High Monk, he never confessed all of his sins, and that must be the one thing that is keeping him from the power that all knows he deserves. If he were to do this, then what would happen? He would get the power, and then his life’s meaning would be over.
He very much knows that his sins are to be confessed in order for Mararu-Hika to grant him purity, and solace through the Heaven flame. But exactly how is he suppose to do that? With no direct contact with the God himself, there is no guarantee that he will be able to gain this one power.
There was one night that brought this “solace” to Gios. On a lunar moon night, skies were red as the fire in the soil; the moon had a low, red-orange radiance from it, and form said thing, Gios knew it was the right time. The timing was right, and the moment was set perfectly. On his 900th birthday(20 in earth years), the time had come for Gios to now admit his sins, and to admit to himself that, even he - the high monk of Fyoli - had committed sins, and by the wrath of Makaru-Hika, punishment must be done. In his room, Gios had candles lit, and the amount of light was dim, but with the shining moon from outside, and the windows cracked, beams of low red light was hitting the floor, and all he could do was hope the prayer would work.
“Great heavenly father, please hear my call for I admit to you, myself, and all of Fyoli, that I have sinned, and am ready to accept any punishment that you see fit. Lord Makaru-Hika, hear my call, and accept my offer to accept the punishment of brandment. Allow me to claim the title of “”Prince of Heaven Flame”, and I shall be the savior of the Efsves’, and I shall be the one who will follow through your beliefs. Accept my loyalty as a given that I am forever in your grace. Amen.””
Words have been spoken - the plea of a High Monk, and as such, the ultimate punishment for any Efsves: banishment from Fyoli. Though this comes with a great reward - the power of Heaven Flame - it also comes with a risk. This risk being to never set foot on Fyoli again, and banished to the alternate universe, and branded to live, and breathe as a human being of the planet Earth. This is the risk the “one” must endure, and it is unavoidable.
During his time on Earth, Gios has found a suitable life. He lives the absolute pleasures of a bachelor. He has a condo in upper-Manhattan, and he currently enjoys the pleasures of Real Estate. Only at the age of twenty-four in earth years, Gios wastes no time. By day he is working his ass off to get himself a nice paycheck, and by night he parties and does a little superhero business to help keep the streets safe. By day he goes by Gios Volcun, but at night he is known as Solus, the hero of the flame.
Along with the success he has had as a real-estate agent/superhero, there have been many to interfere with the safety of those Gios holds close, but there also have been others who have tried to recruit him(while he was Solus mind you) to their teams. He’s gotten offers from the King Pin, the X-men, even Nick Fury himself has sent his best agents to recruit him on their team. Though, in a surprise to all of them, he has declined each offer.
The reason Gios has declined The King Pin is mainly because he knows of the man’s reputation, and doesn’t want things to get ugly for him. His reason for not joining the X-men is just because he likes his life at the moment. For the refusal of S.H.I.E.L.D. is simply because Gios prefers to not get involved with a shady group such as theirs.
Just when Gios had thought the offers would stop, he got approached by Tony Stark in his own home(Tony’s home, not Gios’). Gios knew of the man. He knew he was Iron Man, and knew of his relations to S.H.I.E.L.D. He didn’t trust Mr. Stark, but it was worth a shot to hear him out. After doing so, Gios was intrigued. The fact that S.H.I.E.L.D. needs help to deal with the Dark Avengers by gathering a small group of likely candidates to band together and put a stop to them. Gios liked the idea. He willingly accepted on the condition that S.H.I.E.L.D. stay far away from his personal life.
