“Whatever tomorrow brings, I’ll be there. Got it memorized?”

Name: Lea
Age: Appears to be around 20, but he isn't sure
Gender: Male
Side: Neutral
Heart: Light

Weapon: Chakrams
Wielding the same weapons as his Nobody, Lea can summon these fire-cloaked circular blades in each hand. They are particularly useful in attacking from a distance, but their light weight also makes them good for close combat and defense.

Appearance: Tall and thin, Lea looks much older than he feels. He was still a teenager when he became a Nobody, but now his appearance is nearly identical to Axel's, making him wonder just how old he really is. His red hair is spiked back away from his face, contrasting brilliantly with his bright green eyes. Dispensing with the black cloak of his Organization XIII days, Lea sports a black leather coat over an orange long-sleeve T-shirt. Khaki cargo pants and orange-and-black sneakers complete his outfit, giving him a more casual and less threatening look than Axel could achieve.

Personality: Aside from their general appearance, Lea and Axel also share a very similar personality. Lea carries the memories of his life before Organization XIII as well as the days he spent as Axel, making him what he can only describe as a hybrid of both of his former selves in spite of being returned to his "Somebody" form. Witty and sarcastic, he can turn anything into a joke and often does so in order to lighten a dark mood. This does not mean, however, that he cannot take anything seriously--far from it. Much like his Nobody, when Lea sets his sights on accomplishing something, nothing can stand in his way. His easygoing attitude belies his intelligence and acuity, and what seems like improvising is often simply a part of his meticulously crafted plans.

Despite his history of fraternizing with heroes, Lea considers himself neither a hero nor a sidekick. He tends to be reactionary unless there is something in particular that he wants, in which case he will stop at nothing and do anything to reach his desired ends. While the ends tend to be good, the means by which he pursues them often toe the line of morality and he walks the grey area between good and bad. In the depths of his heart, he still wants to be immortal in the memories of others, but his ultimate goals are less selfish after his experiences as Axel. More than anything else, he just wants to see his friends again; being immortal means little without them there.

After everything that has happened, Lea still gets a kick out of the fact that his friends, the heroes, are constantly in need of help from him, one of the farthest people from their moral high ground. He sees himself more as an antihero with heroic tendencies.

Bio: In spite of his rich past, Lea's life truly began right before he became Axel. He grew up with his best friend, Isa, in Radiant Garden, a pleasant world with very little going on. It was a world full of light, making it unspeakably boring for a kid who had a penchant for mischief-making. Lea spent much of his earlier years trying to find anything he could to pass the time, whether it was sneaking into places where he didn't belong or picking playful fights with whoever he happened across.

The latter was how he met his first outsider: Ventus. The boy had been around his age and in a bad mood, but their fight had brought out the best in him and Lea considered him a friend even though their meeting was brief. After all, he was yet another person who could take the memory of him with them wherever they went, making him immortal. Isa always wondered why that was so important to him and often criticized him for, as he called it, taking in the strays, but Lea could never make him understand. Although they had their differences, they were still best friends and partners in their greatest undertaking: breaking into the castle. Their thwarted attempts did not dissuade them--especially Lea--and they spent a great deal of time trying to find a way past the guards without success.

Even with the memories of two people who were related to the incident, Lea still doesn't know exactly what happened to Radiant Garden or how he became Axel. All he remembers is that one day, the sky turned dark. It wasn't normal darkness; everyone could feel that this was something different, something worse. Isa was nowhere to be found and Lea wandered aimlessly, knowing there was no way to escape what was happening. Other people turned into monsters, dark creatures that attacked relentlessly. With only his frisbees to defend himself, he fell quickly, succumbing in spite of his desperate will to keep going.

When he woke, the first thing he noticed was that he had no idea who he was. Not one memory of his former self remained in his head at first, but the past slowly trickled back to him. He was no longer Lea--that was impossible when he didn't even feel like Lea, or feel anything at all. It was in this confusion that he was approached by someone familiar yet very different: one of the people who had worked in the castle. All of the apprentices to Ansem the Wise were there, and every one of them had changed in the same ways that he had. They weren't the only ones, however. Isa, or Saix as he had become, was there as well. As Lea, Axel had never thought he would have to go through life without Isa. Now, as life devolved into merely existence, at least they would still be together in a sense.

The problem that Axel hadn't anticipated was that without feelings, he felt no particular fondness for Saix. Then again, Saix wasn't really likeable to begin with if he was to be honest about it. It was the memory of Isa that he couldn't let go of, and as Saix changed and grew closer to Xemnas, Axel couldn't quite convince himself that they weren't still best friends. Axel began to spend more time by himself, taking a sort of imitated pleasure in antagonizing his peers rather than doing anything altogether useful for Organization XIII. So what if they wanted to get hearts? Axel didn't care. He literally couldn't.

It wasn't until he met Roxas that everything began to change. At first, the kid was a complete zombie. Xemnas had practically made Axel his keeper; it was his job to ensure that he didn't get into any trouble. What a chore, but Axel supposed it had to be done. This wasn't just any Nobody they'd found: it was his Nobody, the Keyblade's chosen. Xemnas couldn't seem to tell them enough just how important he was to their plans. If he fell into the wrong hands or went back to his Original, all the hope they had would be lost. They needed him safe, which meant appointing someone to keep him that way. Axel still couldn't figure out how he had drawn the short straw when there were complete idiots like Demyx around, but he supposed that was also the answer to that question.

There were things about Roxas that Axel was eager to understand, however, and so he kept his complaining to a dull roar. Even though it was their first meeting, it wasn't the first time they had seen each other. After all, Lea had met Ventus all those years ago, and now here he was faced with his doppleganger. It didn't make sense that they could be identical when Roxas wasn't even Ventus's Nobody, though. Axel looked just like he assumed Lea would have had he been given the opportunity to grow older, a few subtle differences the only thing keeping them from being completely identical. How could something like this happen? That mixed with Roxas's lack of memories or any other sense of who he had been before just added to Axel's curiosity, and in spite of his exasperation with this job, he didn't mind watching from nearby to see if all of these questions had answers.

Admittedly, it would be a lie to say he didn't grow just a little fond of that kid before he left for Castle Oblivion on a mission. Roxas had begun talking, or at least he was far more self-aware than he had been, not that that was saying much. In any case, Axel actually missed his presence in the time that he was off messing with his Somebody's head. Or as much as an emotionless person could miss anything. Perhaps that was why he had done it... In the course of his stay in the castle, he was to look for a room of great value to Xemnas, not that he ever found it, but the things he had done in the meantime... How many of the other members had he taken down, either with his own hands or in other ways that directly tied back to his influence? He had betrayed members of the group that had given him a name and a bad excuse for a purpose, something most people would have been grateful for--all so that he could help Sora.

That meant nothing to him, though, and not because he couldn't feel anything. In fact, he had felt more in that short span of time than he could remember feeling in the years since he had become Axel. The only person he could attribute it to was Sora. Something about him had touched something deep within Axel; if he had a heart, it would have been that. It was something warm, something that made him feel almost human again. It made him actually want to have his heart back if it meant feeling like that all the time. Sure, he remembered how it felt to have a heart and actually feel, but the sensation was something that couldn't be duplicated by memories alone. Not for a Nobody.

When Axel returned to The World That Never Was, it was to find Roxas as changed as he was. The boy was more gregarious, almost like his Other, and his eyes never lost their focus as they used to. He even got angry--or seemed to--when Xigbar called him "Tiger." There was something else, though, and it took a while before Axel could put his finger on it. If he didn't know any better, he would have sworn that Roxas had a heart. The things he said, the way he said them, how he acted, the thoughts he expressed--everything screamed emotion. Just like his Other, he made Axel begin to feel as though he, too, had a heart. Even without one, he began to realize that he truly cared for Roxas and saw him as a friend rather than a chore. He was a true friend, a far greater one than he could ever hope for in Saix. As the latter realized that, the chasm between them widened and, for the first time, Axel didn't mind it. With Roxas as his friend, it was okay to finally let his memories of his friendship with Isa go.

But nothing lasts forever. The days of ice cream and companionship in Twilight Town came to a screeching halt as the Organization went to hell. Axel was the only member who had returned from Castle Oblivion with his existence still intact, and the other members were certainly well aware of it. Suspicious, even, although that would indicate some sort of emotion. Then there was Roxas. He was getting curious, asking questions that Axel couldn't answer. Why did the Keyblade choose him? What was the real reason they were collecting hearts? As their "master," was Xemnas looking out for their interests or his own? So many questions, none of which Axel could answer without driving him out of the Organization--none of which he couldn't answer without driving him away from their friendship. If he had a heart, it would have broken.

Just like that, Roxas was gone and the Organization was in shambles. By the time he found his friend again, it was under orders to kidnap him against his will and the latter had no idea who he was. It was his amnesia and later remembrance that sent Axel over the edge—the dreams Lea had once had couldn’t even be realized with his best friend. The two fought and Roxas was the victor, leaving Axel with only one choice as the doomed Keyblade wielder finally remembered him and willingly went to meet his end: run. He had failed to execute Xemnas’s orders, not that he had wanted to in the first place. That made him a traitor to the Organization; he could never go back.

That wasn’t his only reason, however. With Roxas back where he’d started, he was gone forever. Although he knew this, Axel couldn’t force himself to believe it. Surely they would meet again, and until that day, he would watch over Sora and help him topple the Organization. It was in this way that Axel fell, defending Sora by sacrificing his own existence. In his final moments, he was able to say goodbye to his best friend in his heart, although he couldn’t imagine how that was even possible. As he faded into the light, Axel willingly accepted his fate as he believed every Nobody must: he would disappear, but at least he had done something he was proud of before he went.

Only…he didn’t disappear. He awoke in Radiant Garden, confused, tears running down his face. It was this more than the absence of the teardrop-shaped marks on his cheeks that told him Axel really was gone forever. Lea had returned. Somehow.

The next few months flew by in a daze, and Lea had no idea what to do. Xemnas was apparently gone, which pleased him greatly, but there was no sign of Sora or his motley crew. They had probably returned to their worlds, just as he had returned to his. The powers that Axel had used remained, especially his ability to control fire, but he could no longer summon corridors of darkness.

Some would be happy about what that meant, but it was a sign of failure for Lea: it meant he was trapped. Yet there was something he needed to do, somewhere he needed to go. The belief that Roxas was still out there refused to let him sit idly by and go back to the way things were. After everything that had happened, there was no going back. He made it his mission to find out the secret behind Nobodies’ existences, how he could have come back when others hadn’t, and how to revive the friends he had lost--Roxas and perhaps even Isa. His first idea: to scour the worlds until he found the boy who was identical yet so different, another friend from long ago.

The only thing standing in his way was also the only thing he couldn’t escape: Parasites. Although he was no longer a Nobody, Lea knew that they weren’t the only ones in danger from these new enemies. Not without a bit of vexation, he has simply added these to his ever growing list of things that need to be dealt with.

Other: Nothing aggravates Lea more than being called Axel. They may have nearly identical appearances and personalities, but the name’s Lea—got it memorized?

Vengeance Daggers: Twin daggers that are the only weapons that Jaakuna carries. They could be classified as Short Swords, but Jaakuna likes to think of them as daggers, and so they will rightfully be. They are no more than sixteen inches long with the weight being no more than three pounds. They bare red and black as its colors with the hilt and blade being black, and the patterns throughout are of red

Appearance

His sadistic smile is only complemented from his pale blue eyes, blonde hair, and pale skin tone. His hair overlaps his eyes, so you almost never see them. It’s like you’re looking into the eyes of pure evil.

He wears a red hooded-jacket unzipped, and with no shirt so all you see is his bare torso which is finely chiseled..as is the rest of his body. For his pants, Jaakuna wears a dark olive-green pair of slacks that have a few chains on it. The pants are held up by a unique cloth that seems to have the strength of a leather belt. It is olive green.

Jaakuna has a few visible tattoos. The most visible one is the one going from his wrist almost to his elbow, which is a blue and red tribal marking. It is on both his left and right arms. He has another tribal tattoo, but this one is on his chest starting from his neck and going down just below the pecks. This one is black. Lastly, Jaakuna wears tape around his hands for some unknown purpose only known to him.

Personality:

Spiteful, demented, and hot-tempered. The list goes on and on, but you get the picture. Jaakuna is bad news. He puts a new meaning to a bad seed. He enjoys the suffering of others, and he gets a good laugh at seeing property destroyed. He’s just rotten to the core.

It’s one thing to cause harm on an occasion, but for Jaakuna it becomes a regular thing for him. If he’s bored or has nothing to do, he will go on about to cause deliberate harm to others. It could range from just picking on the weak or destroying homes and other personal items. It’s one of the things that Jaakuna finds a thrill out of.

. With his reputation that he has built to himself, Jaakuna also has a tendancy to act first and ask questions later. Of course, this is the ideology of a criminal, but when I say he’s not right in the head I mean he suffers from three mental illnesses: Psychosis, severe Bi-Polar Disorder, and the worst of it all, schizophrenia. With the combination of those three, Jaakuna proves to not only be demented, but bat-shit crazy.

Oh, let’s not forget his bad temper. Jaakuna has a very short fuse to his temper, so even the littlest thing he may take as offensive, and he lashes out in all means of physical response. It could range from trying to kill you or a simple punch and/or kick. Even though he’s learned how to control it(somewhat), he still reacts to the littlest, unsettling thing. However, if someone could defeat him in an all-out fight, then he learns to not give into it, and he’ll just shrug it off..maybe.

Bio

Even in his childhood, Jaakuna has been the odd man out. He was born to parents Gokai Hinoko and Aki Heiwa. To where he was born, well that's a simple one, actually. Jaakuna was born in Radiant Garden. After some years of his birth, five years perhaps, Jaakuna exhibited some interesting qualities. These certain qualities were not of the supernatural kind, but more on the mental scale.

It was revealed through several tests at the request of his parents in fear of their own safety that Jaakuna was showing early signs of a psychopath mindset, Bi-Polar II Disorder, and Schizophrenia. When his parents had caught wind of this news, their worst fears had came to life. In light of what dark times have been going on, here they had another problem: their own son. They knew that Jaakuna couldn't live with them anymore..or rather he couldn't. So. just at the age of ten, Jaakuna was sent away to a "special" part of Radiant Garden. His parents' hopes was that he would somehow get help, and cure him of his mental instabilities.

After five years of being in the Mental Institute of Radiant Garden Castle, Jaakuna did not get better. On the contrary, he developed even more severe symptoms of Bi-Polar II Disorder, and Schizophrenia. It evolved so much that he was constantly having twisted thoughts — thoughts about how he would kill his parents, and what methods he would use to do as such. It escalated to such a degree that Jaakuna began to plan his escape with a few other inmates who agreed to his plans. Keep in mind that Jaakuna was only seventeen at the time that he had escaped, and he already had manipulated the minds of over ten inmates he led on in a rebellion to the authority figures of the World.

Soon after they did escape, this is when the Darkest Day of Radiant Garden had its arrival. As the wonderous castle of Hollow Bastion was being attacked by the forces of darkness, Jaakuna and his rebellion. It was some time after that where Jaakuna had split up from his group, and went on his own to seek out the lives of his parents. Much to his dismay however, Jaakuna did not find them as the forces of darkness had taken the thrill of slicing up their throats away from him. Jaakuna, surprisingly, was okay with this. It seemed he found a form of solace in this news, and he just shrugged it off.

It was shortly after the destruction of Radiant Garden from the forces of Darkness, that Jaakuna found himself confused. He had no idea what he wanted to do, what path he wanted to take. He was too baffled by what had just happened, but there was something in his heart. This was a weird, tingly feeling that he had felt before. Yes, it was a feeling that he had felt when he was planning his escape. Before he knew it, Jaakuna had given into the powers of darkness. Then it happened. He was invited — lured in by the powers of darkness as The Door To Darkness opened before him on a night where stars were in the sky, and a full moon was seen. It was the last night that anyone had seen Jaakuna until he reappeared ten years later.

On the anniversary of his escape from the Mental Institute of Radiant Garden, Jaakuna
reappeared. His entire body was finely tuned and he had the look of a madman. His ten years in the Realm of Darkness taught him a lot. He learned how to yield the powers of darkness. He learned how to fight, how to use magic, and how to utilize his demonic demeanor in battle. Furthermore, his tactics and how he did shit drastically changed. It was during his time in The Realm of Darkness that Jaakuna was able to dictate when and where the doors would open. It was due to this that he found a way to get a door to open in The World That Never Was. This, my friend, is where his story begins...

Other:

Being athletically fit, Jaakuna has been able to train his body to such a degree that allowed him to become exceptionally skilled in activities such as Gymnastics, several forms of Martial Arts, track and field(how he is able to withstand damage to a certain degree), and just until recently, Jaakuna has also been studying magic. Majorly, the magic he has been studying relies in the dark arts/arcane magic, as well as Black Magic(fire, earth, and the like).

At an early age, Jaakuna was more than capable of manipulating the minds of the mentally-ill; but also able to plan strategic battle plans that surpass those of elite generals. His ability to not only plan ahead several steps away from the opponents, but also to know what their strategy is based on their actions truly puts him at a madman's level. Though, sometimes his killer attitude surfaces, and takes a toll out of his rationality in fights. Probably the biggest weakspot in his genius mind.

During his time in the Realm of Darkness, Jaakuna picked up a very useful power to add to his arsenal. The Powers of Darkness, yes a very useful power indeed. These powers are somewhat limited, however. Due to his ties to the Realm of Darkness, Jaakuna holds the ability to open a portal of darkness which can transport him to and from worlds as often as he pleases. He also can manipulate the basic forms of the Darkness, which include simple beam blasts, ray attacks, and the like. That is where his limits are placed.
