Darkness Revealed 2: Chaotic Bonds

[Tragic Fall]

"It will be done my lord." said Altoran with an evil grin. The shadows surrounded Altoran and Amelia again. This time they teleported to where Alyxea and Stavros were. He walked out of the shadows and into the light.

"Stavros, Alyxea.....how are you?" asked Altoran," Its good to see you guys again." He drew to shadow swords. He pointed one of the swords at Stavros and a shadow bubble surrounded him imprisoning him within.

"Lord Dante has ordered me to kill you.....or have you branded with the archdemon's seal." said Altoran," I choose to kill you because me and Amelia are all Lord Dante needs." He rushed Alyxea and stabbed both of his shadow-swords into her heart. What are you doing? said a voice in his head.....but Altoran could not hear the voice.

[Stavvy]

The world had gone black, the air cold, it felt as if, as if he were trapped, in darkness. He could see anything, he would yell and not hear his voice. He tried to rip through the barrier with his sword, nothing. It cut through, but was immediately sealed after the cut, not allowing any room for escape, not allowing any light entrance. Damn you, Altoran. . . I'm getting tired of your constant betrayl. . .

[Candy Man]

Sotrec gripped his chest where Altoran had cut him. It was a long gash, bleeding profusely. His breating struggled, and his strength failed.

Hold it back. . . Hold it back. His mind swam as he fel to his knees. Eyes changed from blue to red, before starting to milk over. I can stop it. . . I can. Saria was gone, but that no longer mattered.

"Come on Sotrec. They won't wait forever."
"Give me another minute." They glass was nothing special. Clear, and engraved with an image of a lion, like any other in the house. It wouldn't move, no matter how hard he tried. "Was is it I can do?"

Sotrec looked into the water. The face was his, the smile wasn't. "Who are you?" Isn't it obvious?

"What is this place?" This is where your life begins.

Sotrec could feel it, Death had finally come for him. It was different now, there was no coming back. The wound was bad.

He grabbed the Ceta's necklace, looking at the image of her. This is really it. He closed his eyes as he laid down to the ground, exhaling for the last time.

Someone whistled above him. He opened his eyes. Someone was standing in front of him. They were barefoot, and were wearing a clock that ran to the ground.

He looked up. The man's hair was black and scraggly. Sotrec could now see his cloak had many layers, each held by small metal rings. He reached down and grabbed Sotrec by the neck gold embedded in the back of his hand.

Ohru held Sotrec up. "You gonna die little girl? Aw, I'm not gonna make it that easy for you."

Sotrec gasped. Still on the ground, but his wound had healed into a jagged black line. He stood up, breathing heavily.

I will stop it.

[Thor.]

Jailtin rushed at the Angel with a frighteningly blind fury. He was lost in this world of anguish. His mind was only vaguely aware of the carnal instinct taking over his body. The facts were that he had lost himself. Whether or not it was permanent was as yet still unknown. But he had lost himself. And that was what truly mattered. His scythe sliced the air ringing with the passion that burned in his heart. He wanted this woman dead. And he wasn't sure why. In any other situation he would be disgusted at himself.

Now however. He was only angry.

[Tragic Fall]

Altoran's swords were still stabbed into Alyxea, when he turned his attention to Stavros. He concentrated on the bubble he had imprisoned him within. The bubble began to shrink. It was closing in on Stavros, cutting off all air. He turned his head to look at Amelia.

"I can take it from here." said Altoran," You go and tell Lord Dante that this job is almost done."

Maverick stood with the rest of chosen. How are we gonna win now thought Maverick Altoran's being controlled by them. He stomped on the ground in frustration. He would have to go up against one of his friends.

"WHat are we gonna do now?" he asked without hiding his frustration.

[Miss Murder]

Amelia tried to step forward, maybe in an attempt to stop Altoran, but the moment she did so, a shock originating from none other than Dante rang through her body. In fact, visible electricity was forming outside of her body, the inner shock was so strong. Amelia dropped to the ground with the force of it, eyes slightly duller than before, arm reaching out to her sister, who ... --

... who was at that moment looking directly into Altoran's eyes. Her Altoran. What was he doing, and why was he doing this? These thoughts ran through Alyxea's mind before she realized that he was under Dante's control, as was Amelia, her sister. Alyxea had looked at her sister in shock at first; shock that she was alive, and here in their home -- their former home, at least.

It didn't matter at that moment, because Altoran had attacked her with his swords. No blood poured from the new wound, for there was no blood in Alyxea's body to be spilled any more. She looked down at the wound for a moment, gathering herself, and then stared once again with vengeance in her eyes at Altoran's own dark eyes. She had looked into them with love formerly.

"But there's no love for the lifeless," Alyxea said quietly. "And no salvation for the souless."

Alyxea grabbed Altoran's shoulders, and in the same movement, pushed him backwards, and thus pushed herself backwards, and off of his dual swords. Alyxea stretched out her left and right arms, and summoned Shaedowic, known to the Chosen as Wolfs Shadow, to her left hand.

But to her right hand, however, a new weapon formed. But Alyxea immediately recongized this weapon as one she had been entrusted with back when she lived on Alahana. It only seemed right for it to make a reappearance when Alahana needed them most. Or ... it would of, if the scythe she now held in her right hand wasn't possessed by an infamous daemon known as Raein.


Black Raein: A great and powerful Daemon was said to have been imprisoned in the metal of this magnificent scythe long ago. The Daemon's name was Raein, and at the time controlled the powers of torture and the rain. That is, of course, until he was imprisoned in a scythe of great magnitude. No other soul but Alyxea Daecivia was trusted to wield the scythe and make sure Raein never escaped from his entrapment. The scythe itself has a black handle that is, of course, wrapped tightly in bandages, and a silver blade with black spikes extending out of its back. A chain extends from the bottom of the scythe, ending in a large, fluer-de-lee shaped blood red spike. This is Alyxea's most commonly-used weapon, and there is a great story behind her connection to both the scythe and the Daemon within it. Black Raein is able to absorb physical attacks directed at Alyxea, and send them back at an opponent with just as much power as they were first given.

Alyxea looked back up at Altoran, and nearly smiled.

[Tragic Fall]

Altoran didn't give Alyxea a chance to attack. He reached up and drew shadow-trigger from its sheath. His smile didn't fade either. He twirled his gunblade around as he ran at Alyxea. He pulled the trigger and the blade was surrounded by darkness causing it grow into a large black blade made of dark energy. He slashed through Alyxea's body several times.

"You pull a mystical weapon on me.........I pull one on you." said Altoran darkly. His attacks didn't seem to be doing much. He continued to slash through her.

"Why won't you f*cking die!" yelled Altoran angrily. He became furious. Normally this would have caused him to shift into his dark form.....but Dante had locked it away.

[Miss Murder]

It was true, as many times as he slashed through Alyxea's body, she wasn't harmed. Amelia was still helpless and in such pain, Alyxea wouldn't have been surprised if she dropped dead on the spot. She had to hurry, and if Altoran wouldn't snap out of it ... she didn't want to think about it.

"Alyxea ..." Dante's voice rang through the area. "You know one way to end his suffering. Do it. Do it now!"

Alyxea knew exactly what the demon was talking about. She had aquired a new power when she sold her soul. But she couldn't possibly do that to Altoran, the main reason being it was exactly what Dante wanted.

"No!" she shouted, and blocked Altoran's next attack, parrying it with a slice from Black Raein and a slash from Shaedowic. They were half-hearted attacks, for Alyxea didn't really want to harm Altoran.

Amelia also knew what Dante was speaking about, and she was horrified at the thought of it. "No ..." she whispered as she leaned against a wall of the cellar they were in. "... no ..." Her eyes were beginning to glaze over. She looked at the bubble Stavros was in, a look of dismay on her face.

[Thor.]

((All right . .. ... I've waited too long and I'm confused about everything.))

Jailtin took a blow to the chest from the scythe. Blood poured from his chest and the searing pain pushed it's prescence into Jailtin's mind. His insanity back off only a very little bit to make room. His pain was a block of clear thought in the insane amount of confusion. His home. He was at his home. Why would he be brought back here? How could the Creator be cruel enough to put him through this again.

Then he remembered Lycian. The girl who had reminded him so long ago when they met of his life on Cerona. His life isolated in those mountains.

The pain pushed the insanity away and Jailtin threw one final blow at the Angel. Knocking her through a dune of sand. He thought he heard a loud crack but he couldn't be sure. All he did know was that he had to get out of this place.

His scythe cut a portal and he prayed to the Creator that it would lead him to Alahana. Surely there was more to do there than at his home. As he stepped through the pain in his chest was little distraction. It hurt more than anything he had felt in a long time. . . .but he would live. . .

He laned in front of a battling Altoran and Lycian. This was almost not a surprise. Still he wondered at the scythe and at what the purpose of this battle was.

[Miss Murder]

(( They're in Alahana, you see, and you already know that. Dante took control of Altoran by using Amelia ( who is also under his control ) to imprint the Archdemon's seal on the back of Altoran's neck. That also means that Altoran is locked in his current human form and can't shift into his dark form.

Alyxea's battling Altoran, trying to snap him out of it and everything. If you read my last post, you'll see that Dante wants her to do something. Dante's not in the area, but he spoke to them ( Stavros, Amelia, Altoran, and Alyxea are in the cellar of Dante's fortress in Alahana currently ) there.

The scythe has its own story. Basically a demon was sealed within it, Alyxea was chosen to protect it and make sure the demon never got out. The demon's name is Raein, and he has a history with Dante, which is unknown right now.

Also, Altoran locked Stavros in a bubble of darkness. That bubble's compressing in on Stavros currently.

OOC: Umm, change in both Isabeau's and Twilight's theme songs. Isabeau's is "Life Turned Her That Way" by Ricky Van Shelton. While Twilight's is "Angel" by Lorrie Morgan, give me a little time to get the videos up; anyhow.... here's a post! Also, time get Isabeau and Twilight! Do to the face it'll be long enough without me finishing the thing in the room; I'm going to be continuing this post with my next one.

IC: Glaring at Altoran as he disappeared, Isabeau murmured, "Great.... what sort of thing did I get myself into?" Raising her voice loud enough for the Chosen to hear, she continued bitterly, "You guys are weaklings! You won't stand a chance against anything! Your all dead meat." Turning her gaze to Twilight, a shocked look came to her eyes; seeing how much the younger teen was like her.

"Most of all you, Twilight."

That girl, I wonder what happened to her? She doesn't seem normal like the others, what happened to her?] Isabeau railed silently, holding Twilight's ice-green gaze with her eyes. Taken aback as the silverette whispered in a hallow yet cold tone,

"Your right, I don't stand a chance against anything. But then again, you don't either!"

Looking in front of her to see a portal, she and the fifteen year old stood near it. Glancing over her shoulder, Isabeau saw that it was Shade that had summoned it. Listening as Shade whispered softly, loud enough for Twilight and her to hear alone, "You two are so much alike, go through the portal and you will see."

Growling, Isabeau spat coldly, "Tell me why I should." Hearing Yami's comment, she brushed it off simply wth a glare. But what got to her was when Yami mumbled,

"I don't want Twilight like her." Shocked as Twilight snapped,

"So? I don't care what you want! Never have, after all can't feel remember? I want to be Isabeau's friend, after all.... she's pretty nice once you get to know her." Growling, Yami spat,

"What tells you that?"

"I've seen it!" Chuckling softly as Twilight continued, "And I'm dang sure that life turned Isabeau this way, because of jerks like you and Christopher! And remember what pa told us? We could be anything we want to be, and I to be Isabeau's friend!"

This girl does have a temper. She thought, as Yami opened his mouth to reply only to shut it without saying anything. Her cold side smiled for a change, grabbing Twilight's arm she pushed the girl through before her; careful not to harm her for some strange reason.

Walking through it, Isabeau looked around as she saw the ebony black room. Smiling, she murmured, "Much better then the white."

"Yes, much better." Twilight said in agreement.

[Tragic Fall]

Altoran easily dodged the attacks. He was not holding back. That meant that he would not allow himself to be hit. What most people didn't know is that Altoran had other abilities besides just his dark powers and shadow control. He was also a master swordsman and an expert at combat. He strategically moved in behind Alyxea and slashed at her again. Then Jailtin showed up.

"Father.....nice of you to join us." said Altoran with a smile," You've come to help me right? You've come to help me destroy her....right?" Altoran knew that he would have to make Alyxea surrender if Jailtin was unable of killing her. Then his mind hatched an idea. He teleported behind Amelia and grabbed her. He held Shadow-Trigger up to her throat.

"Surrender Alyxea......or your sister dies." said Altoran," Father........I need your help. You would make a fine addition to Lord Dante's team as well. Join us........"

[Miss Murder]

Alyxea's eyes were dull. She was hardly fighting at all. She looked at Jailtin has he showed up. Certainly Dante hadn't gotten to him too? No, because Amelia had been in the area all this time. Amelia ... Alyxea looked at the pain-filled eyes of her sister. How had she ended up here, under Dante's control? How had she gotten involved in all of this?

It wouldn't matter for long.

Alyxea knew what she had to do, though it was exactly what Dante wanted. "Go ahead, Altoran," she said quietly. "Do it. If she's under Dante's control, then she means nothing to me anymore." Besides, who was someone condemned to Hell to feel emotion?

Amelia looked at her sister, eyes wide with shock. How could she? But ... she was dead. Lifeless. Was Alyxea even her sister anymore, since life had left her? What did it really matter. Amelia would soon join her in death.

All the while, Alyxea made Shaedowic disappear, leaving only Black Raein. She had both hands on the scythe's intricately designed handle, and was controlling a power flowing through it.

Perhaps it was just a trick of the light, but a dim pentagram briefly shone on the silvery and metallic surface of the blade.

Alyxea looked to Jailtin and waited for his response. She needed a little more time.

Cerona:
The desert was silent. It settled and shifted in the wind. One small dune did rise up. It revealed itself as a large cape, unseen against the sand.

The tall blond woman smiled as she stayed low to the ground, small piles of sand forming below her head. "Where are you now?" She sunk back under.

Sotrec took advantage of the new portal, he went through just as Jailtin came out. He stood in the desert. Overlooking it, out tot the city far away.

His snake lept up from under the sand, crawling back into his left sleeve. So Jailtin won. Aetas clearly wasn't of any help.

He looked back out to the desert. He was being watched, he didn't like being watched.
