Default Digimon: The Last Hope [Rp thread]

    Digimon: The Last Hope

    interlude

The digital world is a world parallel to the Real World. It is comprised of one gigantic hunk of data inputted from several people from multiple computers. In that sense, one would think that these creatures known as Digimon, that live in this world, aren't alive and kicking? Well the truth of matter is that they are very much alive, and they are very much kicking. They are just like you and I. They have feelings, and they have emotions. They are not just some puppets for someone to toy around with, and as of late that's how its been.

You see, the King of the Digital World is desperate, and he called for ten kids and their digimon partners. So far only nine of these kids have answered to the call, and with their digimon partners, they will defeat the Digimon Demon Lords, and restore order.

    Chris

In his eyes, Chris found the Digital world a masterpiece. Given that he was called under the most odd of situations. He didn't even get a chance to give his parents the proper goodbye, as he was called in by a simple email. He opened it up just because of the human curiosity kicked in. As soon as he did open that email, and white light emerged from his Laptop screen.

First thing that happened, was that he got a little device from that light. He had no idea what it was, but it was a weird little contraption. It told time, had some alarm clock features, but that's it. It was like a Cellphone, but not with the calling features. It only took a few more seconds before that light began to get brighter, and before he realized it, Chris was digitized. He and Liomon were both transported to a strange world, well not strange to Liomon, but to Chris, it was.

When Chris looked around, he was trying to figure out the landscape.

He spent several moments figuring out what exactly the landscape was, and he was convinced that they were on an Island. Soon after he came to that assumption, out of the sky flew Liomon.

“OUCH!” They both shouted. Liomon landed on Chris, and not in the most graceful way. While Chris was in a train of thought or something of those lines, he found himself on the under part of Liomon.

After they both got up, Chris made sure everything he had wasn’t broken or anything of the sort. He was more worried about his hair, but also if he had any broken bones. Both were okay by the looks of it.

“Damn man, why you got to come from the sky like that?” Chris laughed slightly.

Liollmon’s Sea Blue eyes looked at Chris in quite the funny way.

“You shouldn’t have been under me.” Liollmon replied stubbornly.

The both of them just shrugged it off, and by the looks of it, the both looked around, and they appeared to not only be on a place called File Island, as Liollmon had mentioned the Digital world beforehand to Chris, but they seemed to be in the portion called Tropic Jungle. It was a large amount of tress, street signs, flying digimon in the sky, some rookie-level digimon running around as Chris could tell that Liollmon was getting protective based on the hairs of his little main standing up.

“Relax, they’re harmless.” Chris shrugged it off.

Liollmon wouldn’t have been this protective if there wasn’t a strong digimon in the midst. Liollmon could sense danger, and up ahead, he felt about eight different digimon, all of which were rookie level. Then, he felt one big one. It seemed to be approaching these eight different signals.

“Someone’s in trouble, we gotta help.” Liollmon said as his mane started to stick up.

Chris shrugged it off, and went along with it. Not like anything bad can happen. Chris knew otherwise.

    Lucemon

The Seven Sin Kingdom, home to the Seven Great Demon Digimon Lords. All of them are the ones who are responsible for all the chaos and sadness that is looming in every innocent digimon’s heart. Their motives are yet unclear behind this, but one thing is certain. They are not regretting a damn thing. They even gather in Central Castle for a meeting of all seven. Each of them appear in their own way.

The meeting room each demon lord will be in is a gigantic room with a big table in the center, and the air quality is meant fit each of the demon lords, especially Leviamon.

Lucemon, the Demon Lord of Pride arrives in his own way with his top General, Grademon who appears to be corrupted by the looks of it. His golden armor is now pitch black, his came is white, and the red armor parts are now of a dark purple color. He appears next to Lucemon as he sits in the chair with the sigil of Pride show in a glowing, darkish-red tint.

The meeting room each demon lord will be in is a gigantic room with a big table in the center, and the air quality is meant fit each of the demon lords, especially Leviamon. Looking around the table, Lucemon eyeballs each of the demon lords with his own perceptive thoughts.

    First off is Leviamon.

Lucemon didn’t really have any solid opinions about Leviamon. His big chompers made him stand out like a sore thumb. Not like he wasn’t useful, cause he was. He was the ruler of the sea, and as such, Lucemon knew he had his uses. Just how useful he would be, Lucemon would have to see in the process of letting time do its magic.

    Belphemon, that lazy bastard.

If there was one digimon in the entire Digital World that Lucemon found a lazy asshole, it was Belphemon. He did have to hand it to Belphemon. For someone who has stayed intheir Sleep Mode for this long, he must have the patience of a saint or just be that freaking lazy. In any case, Lucemon still had a good opinion about Belphemon despite his sloth-like attitude.

And then there’s that angry a-hole, Daemon

It wasn’t a surprise that Lucemn had nothing but distain for Daemon. He always would hate the world cause of how he was denied holy ranks up of the likes of Seraphimon and the like. He always is a complainer, and that’s what Lucemon despised about the dude. It wasn’t his usefulness because Lucemon knew he was very useful, and wouldn’t end up not being useful for a while now. It was just his constant complaining, and emo-like attitude that makes Lucemon have a negative opinion about him.

    Barbamon, that greedy bastard..

The partner of Belphemon, and the only one that Lucemon can actually begin to like. His means of fighting and getting what he wants is sort of the way that Lucemon himself would go about it. Barbamon is the ultimate manipulator, and never has any regrets. He might be the greediest son of a bitch that Lucemon knows, but he’s also the only one aside from Beelzemon that he actually can trust with important tasks. Not saying that Lucemon is anywhere near the leader of the Demon Lords, but he’s more than good enough for the spot.

    Lilithmon, what an eye-pleasure..

If there was anyone of the Seven that Lucemon can relate to in terms of taste and how one lives, it would be Lilithmon. She has a palace even more elegant and fancy than he does himself. Not only that, but she proceeds to hit on every one of the demon lords even though none of them show any interest, well maybe Beelzemon, but that’s a different story. Either way, Lucemon does not care much for her attitude in that sense, but he likes her a hell of a lot more than some of the others.

    And finally Beelzemon..

The guy that takes pleasure out of seeing other digimon fight it out. God, Lucemon loves this guy just for that. His sense of chaotic justice is by far the most twisted of everyone elses, and that’s also what Lucemon admires about the dude, but not like he’s going to admit it publicly. Lucemon is too proud for that.

After he took in his own thoughts, Lucemon placed his left arm in a resting position where it was holding his head with his fingers carelessly tapping away on his left cheek. In the appearance at this moment, Lucemon appears in his child form. All white with blonde hair, and purple eyes.

“So, my fellow demon lords,” Lucemon’s voice spoke, grinning slightly, “I have called this meeting solely for the purpose of settling a little dispute.” His voice trailed, and an even bigger grin appeared on his face. “The seals of the Digimon Sovereigns. Obviously we are just too busy to be there ourselves, so each of you have came here with your top generals.” Lucemon glanced at all six of them, and then at his own, “what do you say about these generals being at the seals?”

A million noises rang around her, and as she opened her eyes, all she could see was green. Upon closer inspection, she saw trees, plants, and what looked like signs. Sitting up, Vera Serafina looked to see herself in what looked like a jungle. Where was she, exactly? Last she remembered was seeing something sparkling in the well, and trying to reach for it before...Did she fall in, maybe?

I must've hit my head on the way down. Vera blinked a few times as she searched her pockets. Instead of pulling out her brand new, highly expensive cellphone, an odd device was found. Colored green and possessing a somewhat odd interface, she could only stare as she tried to figure out what in the world it was. A PDA? Some sort of ancient beeper? Or perhaps something her mother gave her as a gift?

After a moment of tampering with the device, the blonde let out a sigh of defeat and put it back in her pocket, looking around. No, she was definitely not it Marisielle anymore--this certainly didn't even look like any part of France she recognized, anyway. Perhaps she was hallucinating, or maybe she had been kidnapped. Either way she wasn't getting anywhere by standing around.

"Mon dieu, where am I...?" She pondered out loud as she started walking around, visibly confused. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted an animal. Under normal circumstances should you never, EVER approach a strange creature, but there was something possessing her as she carefully approached it.

As soon as she got close, her foot caught itself in a root--with an audible gasp she tripped and landed flat on her face. This obviously put the creature aware to her presence, and it quickly turned to her. The two stared at one another before the creature let out a very loud squeal and punced on her, scaring the living hell out of Vera.

"It's you! I've been waiting for you!" The digimon exclaimed happily, looking up at Vera with very big, clear green eyes. "I can't believe you're finally here!"

"Why, I'm flattered, really." Did it--she just say she was waiting for me? Wait, it is a girl...right? Very confused, Vera carefully placed the little dog-like thing on the ground and knelt down. "So, you've been waiting for me, have you? Exactly who are you?"

"Salamon, of course!" Grinning, the little digimon nodded feverishly. "You mean, you don't feel it, too? Like we're meant to be together?"

Letting out a sheepish laugh, Vera said, "You mean destiny? I do believe in soul mates, but usually with boys, not little dog...things...You are a dog, aren't you?"

    "A what? I'm a Digimon! I'm your partner!"

Digimon? "...That thing that the kids are raving about these days? That's just a game, isn't it?" Vera asked, scratching her head. The name was definitely familiar, but as she wasn't into games, she wasn't entirely sure. "I mean, I have heard it..."

"Game?" Salamon looked equally confused, but not before suddenly quivering near Vera's leg. "Oh no..."

"What? What is it, girl?" Vera asked, though that question was quickly answered. The trees around them seemed to bend and make way for whatever thing was coming. A strong gust of wind picked up, and as it seemed to die Vera looked to see a giant blue wasp-beetle-bug thing. Was it another Digimon, like the little dog--er, Salamon--here? This one wasn't really small. No, it was huge!

"Hey, you're a Digimon too, right? Don't be a coward, fight it!" Vera told Salamon, pushing it forward with her foot. "You can do it!"

"Are you insane?! That's a Champion level Kabuterimon!" Salamon squeaked, running back behind her leg. "I'm only a Rookie!"

Rookie? Champion? The terms made no sense, but what she knew is that they were toast if they didn't do something soon. But before she could decipher anything, Kabuterimon readied a burst of energy.

"ELECTRO SHOCKER!" It shouted, releasing said ball of energy.

Acting fast, Vera scooped up the little Digimon and ran out of the way, though the aftershock of the blast knocked her off her feet. "Are you okay?" She asked Salamon.

"We need to run! He's way too strong!"

"Aucun! We can take him, you just need to stop being such a scared little cat! Er, dog!" Vera reprimanded her partner as she got up, picking up a nearby rock. "HEY! UGLY!"

Salamon let out a sigh of disbelief as she watched Vera start pelting Kabuterimon with rocks and whatever she could get her hands on. Was she crazy? She was just a human! She bit her lip as Kabuterimon turned towards Vera, who at this point had actually picked up a stick and positioned herself to attack. She was either brave or stupid--and looking at the situation, it was probably the latter.

"You really think you can take it?" Salamon asked her.

Bearing a grin, Vera gave her a wink. "I think we can take it."

    We're gonna die aren't we...?

"Watch where you point that thing!" Taylor yelled.

"Well it's not my fault I have a horn, ya know!" HeatGabumon replied.

The duo had been wandering around File Island for some time now, unsure of exactly where they were heading. Taylor decided to climb a tree in an attempt to scout the area. She didn't see much aside from a large mountain in the center of the island. I sure hope that's not an active volcano... she thought to herself. She was climbing down when HeatGabumon's horn made contact with her rear end, causing the excitement. After the two had settled down, Taylor was in a state to discuss what she saw.

"That's not a volcano, by the way," HeatGabumon calmly replied after her story.

"Oh whew... I was worried for a second. What can you tell me about this island?" Taylor asked.

"Not much; I've never left this forest. Never had reason too," the Digimon responded.

"Well I think we should probably get going. No telling where that blasted bug might be..." She shuddered at the thought of Kuwagamon attacking again. "L-let's go..." She hurried onward. HeatGabumon hastily followed behind her.

Caesar looked at the sky and smiled, he might have been trapped in the digital world but he knew enough about this place to not worry about what might happen to him. As far as he was concerned, there was nothing wrong with a little bit of adventure. This jungle had just about everything that most teens didn't want to see. There were giant bug digimon all over the place and even worse they were attacking the weaker helpless digimon that couldn't do anything to protect themselves.

"Orien, if we pass one more street sign I seriously think that I'm going to go nuts!!! This is just getting ridiculous." Caesar looked up and then heard something up ahead, there was a buzzing sound and the sound of digimon running. He decided that it was better to go check it out than do nothing at all. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking Orien??"

The golden Coronamon smiled and nodded, "Sure let's go see what's happening, maybe we can find some other people who have these digivice things too, that would be epic don't ya think??" As Orien stopped talking and Caesar looked down at him, a horde of digimon ran past yelling all types of things about this bug digimon and how everybody needed to get away.

Against what those digimon were thinking, both Coronamon and Caesar ran through the trees to see what was up ahead and it wasn't pretty at all. "Oh damn look at that digimon, its definitely a champion level, I dunno what we can do about it, maybe if we scare it off or something that will work."

There was a girl there with a Salamon who had seemingly angered the digimon as it continued to rage and bash into nearby trees. "Damn, are hot girls always this stupid?? Lord knows what you guys did to this thing to piss it off so much."

Orien laughed and raised up it hands, "Come on let's get it, we can't just do nothing, what if we let it escape and it harms all those cute digimon that were running away. I think that we should just fight it, I dunno about Salamon and that chick but I'm with it."

"Same here pal, come on show me what you got Orien, you're a special digimon for a reason. Come to think of it, I just realized that my goggles are missing...but anyway, lets burn it."

Orien giggled and jumped into the air and the space on his forehead started to glow. "Eat this Kabuterimon." The light got brighter and brighter and as Coronamon started to descend, he called out..."Flare." From his forehead, Orien expelled a lump of burning energy that harbored the forces of light around it. It crashed into the bug digimon with a rush of flames and bright light.

    Chris and Liollmon

As soon as they both appeared onto the scene, Chris and Liollmon couldn't believe their eyes. There was some gigantic bug attacking two pairs of people. One pair, based on Chris' and Liollmon's knowledge, was a very hot girl and her Salamon, and then some guy and his Coronamon. The Salamon was probably facepalming in her mind based off of the actions that her tamer was giving. A hot-headed girl with big knockers. Chris knew that wasn't a good combo, especially when facing a champion-level digimon.

As Chris shrugged it off, he and Liollmon rushed over, and he noticed the Coronamon actually knowing how to fend off the Kabuterimon, though in all fairness, it didn't seem like it helped any.

"You know what to do." Chris muttered.

    Liollmon nodded in agreement.

While Chris ran over to try to withhold the crazy girl, he gave a reassuring look to her Salamon. "Hey girl, stop acting like that. you're going to get yourself killed." Chris tried to calm her down. Meanwhile, Liollmon joined the frenzy with the Coronamon. After he noticed that the Flare attack didn't do anything major, Liollmon, had to get close and personal.

"Hey, Mr. Ugly." Liollmon said trying to get the attention of the Kabuterimon.

It worked, cause in a matter of mere seconds, the Kabuterimon went for an Electro Shocker, but Liollmon was ready. He used the momentum from it, and he was airbound. Able to flip his way even closer, Liollmon readied his claws. "LIO CLAW!" He shouted as he dug his sharp claws into Kabuterimon, and tried to hang on as the Kabuterimon started to struggle.

    Chris looked on.

    That's all he could do.

Great, he's just like this one here

Ari kept her eyes open and tried to look around while she felt herself… disappearing? No, that wasn’t it. But the feeling was foreign to her; she wasn’t she what was happening. She felt as if she were floating as she could finally make out colors around. Shades of green and brown surrounded her, and for a moment she considered pretending she was still safe in her forest, but this was clearly not the same place. They were in a jungle now.

“Lunamon?” Ari said breathlessly. “… I don’t think we’re in Texas anymore.”

“Oh, we made it, it worked, it worked!” Lunamon cheered. “That means you really are her!”

“I’m who?” Ari asked, trying to calm herself. Lunamon was certainly excited about this turn of events. Had she planned this? …It was a girl, right? Now that Ari thought of it, she hadn’t asked before. And, looking down at her posterior that reminded her of the Pac Man Ghosts somewhat, she had no way of telling which, either. Asking would seem rude at this point, though.

“My digidestined, we’re going to team up and fight together as digimon and human!” Lunamon cheered. It was hard to believe this was the same introvert as just a while ago. “Can’t you tell? It feels like we go together! Perfectly!”

Ari smiled and nodded. “It does kind of feel like that, doesn’t it?” she asked, in the same way she would ask Ted something when he made an observation. It was good to give children a reasonable sense of accomplishment and independence, right? Oh no, Ted… He was home all alone. “I really have to get home right away, my cousin is there and I was going to check on him after a quick trip to the woods, but now I don’t know where we are. Um… which way home?”

“Home?” Lunamon asked, tilting her head. “We’re in a whole different world than your home is.”

Ari sighed. She had actually figured as much… Or at least guessed it as one of those possibilities in a situation that you knew wasn’t possible… “Is there a way to get back home?”

Lunamon frowned. “I really need you, Ari. Please?” she asked as she looked up at Ari with big, pleading eyes. “You can’t go, not yet.”

Ari wasn’t fazed by the deliberate attempt at being cute- Ted had pulled that trick many times before. She couldn’t always give in to it. But Lunamon definitely seemed sincere in her request… There must be something really big then. And, like she said, she couldn’t go home yet. So she might as well make the most of this. “Okay, then, I guess that makes us partners… but what exactly are we doing here?” She slung her backpack back on before bending down and scooping up Lunamon. “And were should we go from here?”

Ari was glad Lunamon knew a lot about the situation, at least. So, this was a digital world? And Ari had barely ever used a computer for anything besides research or papers. But she had a feeling that shouldn’t handicap her too much here. Right?

“And, uh, I don’t know where to go from here,” Lunamon finished quickly, avoiding Ari’s gaze.

“It’s okay, Lunamon,” Ari assured her. “It just means we’ll have to get moving on our own, right? You’ve done well so far, I think. You got me here, after all.”

Lunamon smiled up at Ari. “So where should we go?”

This was her world, not Ari’s… Shouldn’t she ask that? “You said I wasn’t the only … ‘digidestined’. Let’s go find another. At least then we may get an idea of what to do from there.”

“ How do we find them?”

Ari shrugged. “We’ll just walk around for now. More importantly, how do we handle digimon we meet? Ones that don’t go together perfectly with us?”

“You don’t have to worry about that!” Luna bragged. “Because I’ll be here to fight them for you! No one touches my partner!”

“Thanks for that,” Ari said, and she meant it. She wasn’t exactly weak, but she wasn’t sure exactly what she was up against here. Lunamon may be her only hope here. They were partners, after all.

Suddenly, a rush of small digimons came running their way. "Lunamon!" Ari shrieked, holding her out for protection. Lunamon shook slightly, but tried to maintain her brave persona.

Luckily, these ran past the two, as if they were running from something else, not to them. "Phew. I saw we go wherever they are," Lunamon suggested.

"Really... But we're more likely to find other digidestined if we go the way they came from." Ari thought aloud.

"How do you figure? That just means a stronger digimon is over there... Ari!"

"It's our only lead," Ari said. "But I'm not in a rush to get into more trouble than we can handle. We'll check carefully for anything that looks human. And if it's not there, we check somewhere else. Does that work for you?" Lunamon thought it over for a second. She would have to face stronger digimon eventually if she had a partner like this... She nodded and smiled, prompting Ari to go ahead.

When they arrived, they noticed there were people, fighting a huge insect digimon. "Wanna help 'em?" Ari suggested, peeking from behind one of the trees. If they weren't going to help, then they should hide, and fast.

Lunamon shivered for a moment. "I..." She looked to Ari, who smiled at her.

"I won't think you're chicken for backing down, or foolish for rushing in. You know what you can do, after all."

Lunamon's eyes widened as she heard that. "...Wait here, I'll go!" she said, hopping out of Ari's arms and rushing at the larger digimon before she had a chance to turn back. "Lop-ear Ripple!" she called as she spun.

Ari stayed behind the tree and watched in wonder.

    "ELECTRO SHOCKER!!"

"Did you hear that?" Taylor asked her partner.

"Sounded like a Digimon's attack... and if it's attacking something..."

"Maybe we should go and see?" Taylor finished. HeatGabumon nodded and the two hurried to where the sound came from. What she found was a girl fighting another giant bug.

"Kabuterimon... Champion-level..." HeatGabumon whispered to Taylor.

"She doesn't stand a chance! We have to help her!" Taylor went to run out to assist the girl, but HeatGabumon pulled her back. "Hey hey let me go!"

"Taylor! She's one of the Digidestined!"

    "Digi-what?"

"Digidestined. A group of kids like you summoned from your world to help save ours."

"Oh so I didn't get here on accident then... the one time my spam filter doesn't work..." Taylor muttered.

"No, what I'm telling you is that I think the other Digidestined are going to gather here, all on their own!"

"Oooohhh...." Taylor thought for a second... "So if these other Digidestined come here, they'll bring their own Digimon, right?"

"Rookie level, like me!" HeatGabumon happily replied.

"And several Rookies probably stand a better chance against that one Champion than just two, right?" Taylor reasoned out. HeatGabumon nodded in agreement. "Great, so let's wait a few minutes and see if anyone else shows up!"

"Got it!" The two hid in the bushes near the battle, hoping that others would come to help.

Caleb's jaw dropped in awe as he looked around him, mumbling as he tried to reconnect his mouth to his brain. "We No... Jungle? Warehouse!" He shook his head wildly, hoping to gather his senses, before turning to the digimon next to him. "Veemon, where are we? This can't be anywhere near the warehouse, there are tree's everywhere!" He brought his hand to one of the trees closest to him, half expecting it to pass through, only to find that it was a solid and rough as any other tree he'd ever seen.

Veemon beamed back, positively ecstatic by the turn of events. "Caleb! We're in the digital world! It's just like I was telling you, and you know what that means?!" He bounced up and down, humming with excitement, "It means your my partner, and I'm your digimon! You're a digidestined!" And with that Veemon leapt at Caleb, wrapping him in a tight embrace.

Caleb stared at the sky, hugging his new, partner? He wasn't even sure what they're relationship was, whether it was more of an alliance, or whether this creature was his new pet. "So... I'm a digidestined? What does that even mean?" he asked, sitting up and eyeing Veemon bewilderingly.

"Simple, it means that you're supposed to-"

    "ELECTRO SHOCKER!!"

Veemon jumped at the interruption, looking deeper into the forest with fierce determination. "Caleb, there's digimon in trouble, we have to help them!" He jumped to his feet, grabbing Caleb's hand and pulling him along behind him. "That voice had to be Kabuterimon, he's a champion level, and he didn't sound very happy!"

Everything was moving so fast, Caleb tried to keep up and remember what Veemon had told him. "Right, champion level, that's after rookie, which is what you are, right?" his eyes widened as he saw the digimon up ahead, it was huge! It's body almost skeletal, with a nasty looking horn protruding from it's head, this didn't look like it'd be easy! "Are you sure about this Veemon?" he asked, normally he wouldn't hesitate, but he hated to put Veemon in danger, he'd only just gotten his digimon, he didn't want to lose him so soon!

Veemon nodded happily as he tensed up for the fight "Caleb, if we don't stop him, he might hurt other digimon! Besides, those guys are already fighting him, we can't let them have all the fun!" at those words he rushed forwards, Leaping into the air before shouting out "Vee-shot!" and firing his body right towards the Kabuterimons head!

Caleb watched as his digimon assaulted the massive foe, gritting his teeth as he stood helplessly. 'Look at him, he's so small, but he doesn't even hesitate to fight Kabuterimon...' Caleb glared at their opponent, before pulling his camera out of his backpack, "But I'll be damned if I let him do it alone!" he said, rushing forward to the insects head, turning the flash on as he went. "Hey ugly!" he shouted, just a few feet in front of the beast, drawing his stare as he raised his camera. "Say cheese!" he shouted before letting off dozens of high intensity flashes, taking picture after picture, desperately hoping his plan to blind the bug wasn't as crazy as it seemed...

    "You coming or not?"

How did my life end up like this? One moment I'm going home from school, discovering a weird noise in the alley, and the next thing I'm talking to a blue dragon and ended up in some jungle with no clue how to get back home. Xeon was following a light blue dragon which was named Dracomon who said they were supose to be partners now, and after his meeting he was mysteriously transported into the middle of some jungle but not one that he knows of.

"Come on lazy bones your dragging behind!" shouted Dracomon.

"I'm coming, I'm coming just give me a second to deal with the fact that I was taken away from my home and put into a steamy jungle." Xeon replied back.

The jungle Xeon and Dracomon were in seem to run on forever as he passed by strange colored tree's where the trunks were a bit of a greenish color and the leaves had a blue tint to them, the floral were all different but they look like those bulbous flowers you would see in the amazon, and the sounds Xeon heard were mostly rustles of leaves and the wind blowing by them. Not even the jungles of New Zealand were anything like this.

"Stop!" Dracomon alarmed him as he stood there in a small clearing.

"Stop? Why?" Xeon said catching his breath as he stood next to Dracomon and he noticed that Dracomon's pupils have gotten larger, his tail was shaking like a rattlesnakes would, and he could instantly tell his horns just flashed a bit.

"I don't think we're alone." Dracomon growled lowly as he faced to the left side of the jungle. Xeon didn't what he was growling at but out from the tree tops came a large spider, it had what looked like a helmet over it's head, a skull print on its thorax, and what look like orange hair coming out from underneath the helmet.

"Whoa, that's one big spider. You would need seven cans of Raid to kill that thing." Xeon said as he backed away from the spider, he had always had a slight fear of spiders ever since he saw a monster movie based off of them.

"Thats Dokugamon, a champion level insect Digimon. They aren't friendly I can tell you and their poison is said to paralyze their opponent before they eat them." Dracomon explained to him. "But I think your Digivice would explain better then I would."

"Geez, would hate that to happen to me. So what does it want?" Xeon asked.

"Looks like we stumbled across it's nest or it's out looking for food and judging from the drool on it's mouth I think he's looking for food. But to bad for him that we're not on the menu."

"Poison Thread"" The Dokugumon hissed as it spit out thread at Dracomon and Xeon. Just as the thread was about to his Dracomon stood in front of it and gave a cocky grin.

"Baby Breath!" Dracomon let out what looked like a yawn of some sort but Xeon could see heat from out from his breath as he burned and dissolved the thread Dokugumon shot out at them. It hissed again and headed up into the tree's to try a sneak attack which Xeon could tell from it's animal nature. So for defense Xeon picked up a nearby branch.

"Think it might be getting reinforcments while it's playing hide and seek?" Xeon said back to back with Dracomon looking up at the tree's.

"Possibly, but even we might not be able to take them all on." Dracomon said gritting his teeth as they wait for Dokugumon to strike out at them. But just then some thread came out from one of the treetops and right to Xeon. Xeon caught eye to it and held his stick up to deflect it, but it was snatched away from his hands when Dokugumon reeled the stick in and spat it out from the tree.

    "Crap, I'm unarmed." Xeon cursed.

"But I know he's there." Dracomon said as his horns flashed brightly on his head and open his mouth "G Shurunen" Then he fired a bright beam at the treetop where Dokugumon shot it's web, it was a direct hit as Dokugumon fell out from the tree and staggered on the ground from the attack. Just as it was dazed, Dracomon dashed off to the giant spider and jumped up in the air and spun into a summersault to come down tail first over Dokugumon.

"Tail Smash, ariel dive!" Then slammed his tail down hard on Dokugumon's head as Xeon could see a crack in it's helmet from the tail smash. Dokugumon hissed as it ran off in the woods not wishing from another beating from Dracomon again.

"Yeah you better run. And you tell your friends to not mess with me, Dracomon!" Dracomon shouted out to Dokugumon who was still scuttling away from them.

Sasaki smiles as he finally makes his way through the plants leading to where he landed and finally finds the source of all of the noise. The only problem is that the source of the noise is several Digimon and even a couple humans trying to fight off a Kabuterimon. He sees the ensemble and just smacks his head before he finally looks up at the small creature riding on his head. Coronamon just looks at the group in amazement. Sasaki feels the excitement running through the little guy's entire body. But then again, it's hard to miss the excitement from a creature the size of a medium sized dog bouncing on your head. Sasaki just sighs as he walks out of the plants and looks around only to see that there is another Coronamon, this one a different color.

    "A friend of yours?"
"Can't tell! Too far away! Can I fight now?!"

At this the young man just sighs as he takes the creature off his shoulders and grabs him by the scruff of his neck. Coronamon just nods as he feels his adrenaline flowing through his veins and waits for what is to come next. Sasaki prepares his body and swings the creature around once before literally launching him into the air. Coronamon laughs as he sees his target and lets his entire body getting covered in flames. The flames finally get concentrated into his hands as he peaks just above the creature. He begins to fall just a little too far behind the creature so he fires the blast of flames at the giant bug.

    "Corona Flame!"

The single shot of fire hits the creature between the wings and sends Coronamon flying back towards the ground, this time at the growing group of humans. Sasaki just sees the angle of the flight and runs with all of his speed towards the others. He curses to himself as he sees that he's just a little too slow, but he just dives into the middle of the group to snatch the creature out of the air just inches from the ground. As a result he hits the ground hard and slides to a stop. Coronamon doesn't bother thanking his partner and instead runs back towards the fight. At that time Sasaki pushes himself to his feet and looks at the others.

"So, are you guys having fun?"

    Chris &Liollmon

There was an influx of not only humans, but their digimon partners. Of course he knew he wasn’t the only one to have a digimon partner, but the fact he caught onto it a little too late was just beyond him. Well, whether that’s true or not is not really important at this moment. Chris was more worried about the Kabuterimon that seemed to be getting more and more angry. As he could see Liollmon struggling to stay on its head, Chris started to get worried. However, the influx of the digimon made him get rid of that feeling of worry.

As he looked on, two coronamon, both of different tints, a Lunamon who also went on the offensive, and well. She went for what she called Llop-Ear Ripple. By the looks of it, Chris could see that, as Lunamon spun her ears, pink-shaded bubbles flowed in the air only to hit the Kabuterimon which Chris could see wasn’t a good idea cause now it was even madder than what it previously was.

Before Chris would get a chance to tell Liollmon to get off his head, Kabuterimon had already noticed him, and it was too late. Kabuterimon, in all of its anger, flew high into the sky as it tried to get Liollmon off of its head. In all the while of this, some kid with a camera sure picked the perfect time to flash a camera at its face.

    “NOW LIOLLMON!” Chris shouted.

He didn’t know what had happened, but Liollmon knew he had to give it all he could. Jumping off of the head of Kabuterimon, Liollmon landed on his feet safely right next to the golden Coronamon. He then switched his attention to Chris by simply giving him a single nod. Chris knew what that meant.

“Yeah, go for it.” Chris said.

Liollmon’s emerald stone around his neck began to emit a green glow of the same shade that the stone had. Liollmon scanned the landscape, and by seeing a tree that had a curved form to where he could launch himself off of. So, when he did that, he pushed off with his legs, and proceeded to do a series of acrobatic flips until her was above the Kabuiterimon. He knew of the weakness of Kabuiterimon, and behind their horn is their weak point.

    “REFLECTOR BLAST!”

Green spherical blasts fired from Liollmon’s stone, and they all fired towards Kabuterimon’s weak point. In the midst of all of this, some nerdy-looking kid comes over to the rest of the ‘gang’ and asks them if they’re having fun.

“Oh you know, the usual.” Chris mockingly said to the kid. “You can call me chris.” He said, just simply introducing himself.

"Now THAT'S what I'M talking about!"

Vera cheered as the cavalry followed, waving her stick as if she was commanding them. "Yeah! Get him good!" This was getting to be so much fun, until she spotted the boys.

Then, she forgot all about that big, bad bug.

"Hey handsome, what about you and me ditch this place and go somewhere? Getting bored of all this." Vera suggested to Chris as she rested both hands on one of his shoulders, batting those long eyelashes of hers. She just wasn't interested anymore--and besides, if this was a dream, it should go her way, right? Either way all the fighting was nothing compared to this kid. He was so cute, but a little younger than she was. Ah well, beggars can't be choosers.

On the other hand, Salamon was much more appreciative of the help, though she wondered why in the world her partner wasn't paying attention.

"This is serious! There isn't any time for flirting!" She wailed, though was shooed much to her dismay.

"Will you relax? It's alright to be scared, the rest of those things got this." She brushed Salamon off, clearly irritated. "Besides, if it's such a problem, why don't you go help? You're a Digi-Whatever, aren't you?"

    "Digimon! We're Digimon!" Salamon insisted.

"You're so ruining the mood and fun in all this." Vera told the little dog. "Relax! If there's one thing I know, the heroine always makes it through things like this! Right, hero?" She turned her attention back to Chris, smiling. "Say, you can bring the other guy too, the one over there?" She pointed to Caesar, giving him a friendly wave. "We can all go~"

I've been partnered with an idiot... Salamon let out a remorseful sigh.

The two companions looked into each other's eyes, words passing unspoken between them.

I take it those are the other Digidestined? Taylor thought.

Yep, now let's go help them out! HeatGabumon's eyes seemed to reply. Taylor nodded in agreement and leapt out from her hiding place.

"VIOLET BLASTER!!" HeatGabumon yelled, spewing purple flames directly at the giant bug. The Kabuterimon looked around for a second, confused at what was happening. "HORN ATTACK!!" the small Digimon yelled, ramming the larger one with his horn.

"I don't think we had to make that big of an entrance, HeatGabumon..." Taylor said, scratching the back of her head somewhat nervously.

"Sorry, I got lost in the heat of the moment..." HeatGabumon replied bashfully. Taylor chuckled at his response; she didn't notice the large bug getting back up. Before she knew what was happening, HeatGabumon flew into her and knocked her into a tree.

"Maybe you folks should take it from here..." Taylor said to the other adolescents. "Owww.... you okay, buddy?"

"Yeah... I think so," her partner replied. Taylor carefully got back up, brushed herself off, and stood next to her fellow Digidestined. HeatGabumon did the same.

Default Re: Digimon: The Last Hope [Rp thread]

Lunamon landed gracefully enough, but seeing that all she managed to do was anger the Kabuterimon scared her so much she almost fell back. This really was a bad idea- she was a little rookie, and this was a huge champion!

Ari noticed her partner’s obvious distress from where she hid behind the tree. The move was stunning beautiful, at least… You would think it would serve at least as a distraction. Slipping off her backpack, Ari tried to run through all her options.

She had a rope, maybe she could lasso the thing in place and Lunamon could aim behind its horn this time- that little lion had done that and it seemed to work quite well. She wasn’t sure how much strength it would take to hold that overgrown beetle in place, but she was pretty sure she could muster it for at least a short time. It wasn’t as if dealing with horses was any easier that summer at rodeo camp, after all.

    “Corona Flame!”

Flame… Meaning fire... meaning she’d be saying goodbye to her only rope. This was a problem, but there would surely be other problems later. Saving the rope for one such problem would probably be better. Maybe her lighter could help her now! As she dug through her backpack, she realized that must have been left behind in her world. Oh, how she was beginning to miss that world now, with its pest control and bug zappers… But Lunamon needed some sort of support out there, right? She hated rushing, but time was of the essence.

Meanwhile, Lunamon shivered and watched the others take charge for a while. She was surprised that it went for the Liollmon rather than her, but she certainly wasn’t complaining about that. She looked to her partner, who was busy digging around in her backpack now. Still shivering, Lunamon began to walk back when Ari finally looked up.

However, the smile on Ari’s face showed she had other plans. She had no reason to stay in hiding behind the tree if the other digidestined were out there in the front lines. Ari set down her backpack and kept only her pocket knife in her hand. She had a first aid kit, she’d just have to use it after this. “Lunamon, after me!” she called, boldly running forth.

Lunamon hesitated, but finally followed after her partner. Waiting for a moment when the bug’s attention was on another- it’s not as though she had a battle cry to attract its attention to her, after all, She lept onto its back and tried to dig the knife into the flesh beneath its helmet. It was harder than it appeared, but Ari hadn’t expected it to be easy. “Down, boy,” she said through clenched teeth. She didn’t care right now whether or not the gender was off, she just had to have its attention.

Lunamon was utterly shocked at this development. What was she supposed to do here? Ari was staring at her, but she wasn’t saying anything. Wait, she was mouthing something… Ready? Ready for what? Oh, wait, she should attack now, right! She nodded and began concentrating power into her antennae.

As she called, “Tear Shot” Ari leapt down, realizing she was in the way of anyone who was trying to attack. Who apparent wasn’t that pretty girl flirting with some of the other children. But everyone else was certainly trying, it seemed. “Nice work, Luna,” Ari said, wiping her knife. She was a pretty okay istraction after all, and after all this effect everyone was putting in, surely the odd were with them.

"Thanks!" Luna said, beaming back. They really were partners, weren't they?

"Just be sure not to imitate that," she advised as if Lunamon were instead her small cousin. She laughed as she realized this was a magical...bunny...thing she was warning. A digimon. Maybe it was unnecessary, but better safe than sorry. "That's no pony over there."

    "Coronamon!"

The little creature turns to face Sasaki at the calling of his name only to see his partner pointing towards the Digimon named Liollmon. Corona just nods as he seems to understand just what needs to be done and fires yet another Corona Flame at the ground, this one launching him into the air. The small creature looks at the place that the attack is aimed at and decides to add a little extra punch to it. With that he holds both of his hands in front of him as he appears to hoover in the air and once again charges his blast and aims it at the same spot as the Reflector Blast.

    "Corona Flame!"

This time the blast builds itself a good amount until finally it launches itself at the Kabuterimon with the intent to make an impact in the same spot just half a second after the attack from the Liollmon. At the same time Sasaki looks over to the one that mentioned his name is Chris and says, "The name's Sasaki. Pleasure to..." He's unable to get the rest of his sentence out because he is forced to get out of the way of some girl that practically tackles Chris in an attempt to flirt. Sasaki just stares at the woman in disbelief as she says something about vanishing with Chris and one of the other guys. Was this girl a slut or something?

"Excuse me, Miss? We're in the middle of a battle here. Think you could save this flirting until AFTER the battle against the giant bug?"

It's only then that he notices the Salamon walking away with a look of mixed emotions on its face. Feeling a little bad for the creature he just reaches down and scratches it behind the ears before saying, "Don't worry. I'm sure that she'll start to take thing seriously soon." He give the creature a reassuring smile and turns back to his own partner as it lands on the ground a good distance from where it launched the attack.
