Digimon: The Last Hope
interlude
The digital world is a world parallel to the Real World. It is comprised of one gigantic hunk of data inputted from several people from multiple computers. In that sense, one would think that these creatures known as Digimon, that live in this world, aren't alive and kicking? Well the truth of matter is that they are very much alive, and they are very much kicking. They are just like you and I. They have feelings, and they have emotions. They are not just some puppets for someone to toy around with, and as of late that's how its been.
You see, the King of the Digital World is desperate, and he called for ten kids and their digimon partners. So far only nine of these kids have answered to the call, and with their digimon partners, they will defeat the Digimon Demon Lords, and restore order.
Chris
In his eyes, Chris found the Digital world a masterpiece. Given that he was called under the most odd of situations. He didn't even get a chance to give his parents the proper goodbye, as he was called in by a simple email. He opened it up just because of the human curiosity kicked in. As soon as he did open that email, and white light emerged from his Laptop screen.
First thing that happened, was that he got a little device from that light. He had no idea what it was, but it was a weird little contraption. It told time, had some alarm clock features, but that's it. It was like a Cellphone, but not with the calling features. It only took a few more seconds before that light began to get brighter, and before he realized it, Chris was digitized. He and Liomon were both transported to a strange world, well not strange to Liomon, but to Chris, it was.
When Chris looked around, he was trying to figure out the landscape.
He spent several moments figuring out what exactly the landscape was, and he was convinced that they were on an Island. Soon after he came to that assumption, out of the sky flew Liomon.
“OUCH!” They both shouted. Liomon landed on Chris, and not in the most graceful way. While Chris was in a train of thought or something of those lines, he found himself on the under part of Liomon.
After they both got up, Chris made sure everything he had wasn’t broken or anything of the sort. He was more worried about his hair, but also if he had any broken bones. Both were okay by the looks of it.
“Damn man, why you got to come from the sky like that?” Chris laughed slightly.
Liollmon’s Sea Blue eyes looked at Chris in quite the funny way.
“You shouldn’t have been under me.” Liollmon replied stubbornly.
The both of them just shrugged it off, and by the looks of it, the both looked around, and they appeared to not only be on a place called File Island, as Liollmon had mentioned the Digital world beforehand to Chris, but they seemed to be in the portion called Tropic Jungle. It was a large amount of tress, street signs, flying digimon in the sky, some rookie-level digimon running around as Chris could tell that Liollmon was getting protective based on the hairs of his little main standing up.
“Relax, they’re harmless.” Chris shrugged it off.
Liollmon wouldn’t have been this protective if there wasn’t a strong digimon in the midst. Liollmon could sense danger, and up ahead, he felt about eight different digimon, all of which were rookie level. Then, he felt one big one. It seemed to be approaching these eight different signals.
“Someone’s in trouble, we gotta help.” Liollmon said as his mane started to stick up.
Chris shrugged it off, and went along with it. Not like anything bad can happen. Chris knew otherwise.
Lucemon
The Seven Sin Kingdom, home to the Seven Great Demon Digimon Lords. All of them are the ones who are responsible for all the chaos and sadness that is looming in every innocent digimon’s heart. Their motives are yet unclear behind this, but one thing is certain. They are not regretting a damn thing. They even gather in Central Castle for a meeting of all seven. Each of them appear in their own way.
The meeting room each demon lord will be in is a gigantic room with a big table in the center, and the air quality is meant fit each of the demon lords, especially Leviamon.
Lucemon, the Demon Lord of Pride arrives in his own way with his top General, Grademon who appears to be corrupted by the looks of it. His golden armor is now pitch black, his came is white, and the red armor parts are now of a dark purple color. He appears next to Lucemon as he sits in the chair with the sigil of Pride show in a glowing, darkish-red tint.
The meeting room each demon lord will be in is a gigantic room with a big table in the center, and the air quality is meant fit each of the demon lords, especially Leviamon. Looking around the table, Lucemon eyeballs each of the demon lords with his own perceptive thoughts.
First off is Leviamon.
Lucemon didn’t really have any solid opinions about Leviamon. His big chompers made him stand out like a sore thumb. Not like he wasn’t useful, cause he was. He was the ruler of the sea, and as such, Lucemon knew he had his uses. Just how useful he would be, Lucemon would have to see in the process of letting time do its magic.
Belphemon, that lazy bastard.
If there was one digimon in the entire Digital World that Lucemon found a lazy asshole, it was Belphemon. He did have to hand it to Belphemon. For someone who has stayed intheir Sleep Mode for this long, he must have the patience of a saint or just be that freaking lazy. In any case, Lucemon still had a good opinion about Belphemon despite his sloth-like attitude.
And then there’s that angry a-hole, Daemon
It wasn’t a surprise that Lucemn had nothing but distain for Daemon. He always would hate the world cause of how he was denied holy ranks up of the likes of Seraphimon and the like. He always is a complainer, and that’s what Lucemon despised about the dude. It wasn’t his usefulness because Lucemon knew he was very useful, and wouldn’t end up not being useful for a while now. It was just his constant complaining, and emo-like attitude that makes Lucemon have a negative opinion about him.
Barbamon, that greedy bastard..
The partner of Belphemon, and the only one that Lucemon can actually begin to like. His means of fighting and getting what he wants is sort of the way that Lucemon himself would go about it. Barbamon is the ultimate manipulator, and never has any regrets. He might be the greediest son of a bitch that Lucemon knows, but he’s also the only one aside from Beelzemon that he actually can trust with important tasks. Not saying that Lucemon is anywhere near the leader of the Demon Lords, but he’s more than good enough for the spot.
Lilithmon, what an eye-pleasure..
If there was anyone of the Seven that Lucemon can relate to in terms of taste and how one lives, it would be Lilithmon. She has a palace even more elegant and fancy than he does himself. Not only that, but she proceeds to hit on every one of the demon lords even though none of them show any interest, well maybe Beelzemon, but that’s a different story. Either way, Lucemon does not care much for her attitude in that sense, but he likes her a hell of a lot more than some of the others.
And finally Beelzemon..
The guy that takes pleasure out of seeing other digimon fight it out. God, Lucemon loves this guy just for that. His sense of chaotic justice is by far the most twisted of everyone elses, and that’s also what Lucemon admires about the dude, but not like he’s going to admit it publicly. Lucemon is too proud for that.
After he took in his own thoughts, Lucemon placed his left arm in a resting position where it was holding his head with his fingers carelessly tapping away on his left cheek. In the appearance at this moment, Lucemon appears in his child form. All white with blonde hair, and purple eyes.
“So, my fellow demon lords,” Lucemon’s voice spoke, grinning slightly, “I have called this meeting solely for the purpose of settling a little dispute.” His voice trailed, and an even bigger grin appeared on his face. “The seals of the Digimon Sovereigns. Obviously we are just too busy to be there ourselves, so each of you have came here with your top generals.” Lucemon glanced at all six of them, and then at his own, “what do you say about these generals being at the seals?”
