"I'm not sure Captain. This might be much more than just a storm," said Idai in response to Hayate's question. "You're right of course Idai," thought Hayate as he met his Lieutenant's gaze. He was about to whisper some words of reassurance when something rather peculiar forced his attention. A beast several feet taller than him had leaped upon the roof, Hayate could tell from its structure that the thing was a Hollow.

"What the hell?" he said to Idai, "A hollow this deep into Soul Society.....that's impossible." Hayate was stunned by what he saw before him, however, one could not tell by looking at him. Without making any concious commands, his body grew calmer than it was when he spoke to Idai. His voice didn't waver and his eyes were still strong, devoid of fear and panic. This was why he was given the title 'ice cool fire breather' upon leaving the Academy.

The beast lunged forward with its arm outstretched, its claws aimed straight at his neck. Hayate stood firmly in place, simply opening his mouth and bending backwards. "Hi no iki!" roared Captain. A powerful flame formed in his mouth, launching towards the Hollow in a line as Hayate's body straightened. Before the flame even disappeared the Hollow was destroyed, disappearing as floating particles.

“Hayate come quick hollows have breached soul society and there are gradually making way through our defenses, gather your squad and meet me in my division quarters we shall take care of them there," said a voice from behind which Hayate instantly recognised as Hibari's. "I've realised," Hayate said softly in response. Hibari continued, "Oh yeah try to get your squad members to alert the other captains with hell butterflys we need to discover how they got so far in and fast."

Hayate shot a glance towards Idai, something he had grown accustomed to doing with his Lieutenant. It meant 'you know what to do.' "I'll do as you say Hibari," he said, jumping off his barrack's rooftop and walking into the building. "Listen up!" he started, commanding his squad's attention. "Hollows have invaded Soul Society somehow. I know you feel this is impossible but more and more are entering.....passing our defenses and getting deep into Sereitei. Do not panic, do not freeze in fear. We have a certain reputation to keep. Line up in Formation 16 and follow me to Captain Hibari's division. Together we shall take a stand and finish these intruders right there and then. Remember we must keep a cool head. Falling into chaos will make this enemy seem much more powerful than they actually are." Just then, the unmistakable sound of lightning crackled in the air, followed by the crashing of it into the earth. "Looks like things are getting interesting for someone already."

With that, Hayate watched his squad gather itself as efficiently as he had taught them to. Of course, he wasn't as confident as he acted. After all, invading Soul Society was not a small feat. With his squad following behind him, he flash stepped to Hibari's side. "Listen. You're almost as smart as me. We both know there's no way Hollows like these could have entered soul society alone. Do you understand what I mean? Have the Vizards made their first move?"

Captain Hayate meet Idai's gaze. He looked as if he was going to say something, but stoped. Idai suddenly felt a strong pressence at the other side of the building. He looked over to see a hollow. "What the hell?" Hayate said to Idai. "A hollow this deep into Soul Society.....that's impossible." Idai looked on the ground, and saw another hollow, begining to climb up the side of the building.

He jumped high into the air and drew his zanpakuto. "Feast upon thy enimies, Komodo no Kuchi!" A bright flash off green light came from the blade, and it changed into it's shikai. He began to fall down, towards the hollow that was climbing. He landed on its face, and sunk his blade deep into the hollow's fore head. The hollow let go of the building, grasping at his head, shouting in pain as the bacteria from the sword slowly killed him from the inside. It's head began turning black, the cells almost disentergrating. Idai pulled the sword from the head and jumped back onto the roof as the hollow began to fall. As it fell, it began to brake apart. When it hit the ground, almost nothing was left of it.

“Hayate come quick hollows have breached soul society and there are gradually making way through our defenses, gather your squad and meet me in my division quarters we shall take care of them there," He saw Captain Hibari talking to Hayate. "I've realised." "Oh yeah try to get your squad members to alert the other captains with hell butterflys we need to discover how they got so far in and fast."

Hayate glanced over at Idai, and he knew exactly what to do. He shunpoed away, searching for nearby Captains. He found two. He landed on the ground near Natsumi and Demetri. "Captain Natsumi, Captain Demetri, hollows have gotten deep into the soul society."

The captain cocked his head to the side and smacked his teeth “And how exactly do you know I’m not as smart as you hm?? Anyways no the vizards do not have such a power of this moment so I say they have gained a new ally and a powerful one at that”

He then motioned for Hayate to follow as he flash stepped out of the room, as they came outside Soul Society appeared to be falling apart. Cero blasts being fired every few seconds, hollows attacking buildings and killing innocents such a sight was hard to see.

“Listen we need to find the source the being that sent them here, if my hunch is correct then he must still be here somewhere.”

After several moments of battling hollows and dodging constant cero or cero-like blasts they stumbled upon how the hollows got in, now they needed to know why and what this being had to gain from it. The two were battling in mid-air and it appeared the pale being was playing around with the other.

"Agnosco Sonus Messor!" His blade then shifted signaling him going into his bankai state, Hibari then brought up the blade and began to draw a square shape in the air that glowed a bright blue "3rd song."

Upon saying this a concussive burst of spiritual pressure and sound erupted hitting Seru and Karu breaking the two apart, he then drew a cylindrical shape in the air. The shape then became bigger and rushed itself to the targets, whether or not it came into contact with them was unclear with him but it then began glowing brightly and a thumping beat could be heard. The beat was a signal that inside the cylinder was a massive sound that killed most weaker beings instantly, the power was so great the cylinder then exploded sending a huge amount of force to the area.

"Which one of you two are responsible for these hollow?!" his voice grew gradually louder as he finished it was clear that he was mad which he never seemed to be.

"Sir what would you like us to do." said a young vizard looking at Kaiju. "I want small groups to infiltrate SS, do nothing until I give the signal to advance." said Kaiju walking towards the Vizard hideouts main entrance. "Also I would like a group to seek and find Juuro. I will need him for the main advance." Kaiju threw over his shoulder as he turned the corner from the entrance. Ahead a doorway much like a Senkaimon was waiting for Kaiju to enter. "Time to forge on ahead." he said stabbing Kenrochi into the center of the Senkaimon. The doors slid open revealing a bright light. Kaiju stepped through.

Kaiju stepped through into the SS. Ahead the usual pillars that adorned the Senkaimon entrance looked battle worn and a few were toppled. "Hey who are you and what are you doing here." said a voice behind Kaiju. He turned to see two soul reapers running towards him. Kaiju turned back and flash stepped out of the area. After he had stopped he was far into the SS. He was at the famous Execution Hill. "From here I can see everything that is happening." said Kaiju looking over the edge of the cliff. Down below pillars of smoke billowed up from buildings and roars could be heard all around. Small blasts of Cero flew through the air. Sounds of soul reapers rushing in battle. "Ah the heat of battle, I just love it." said Kaiju smiling hard.

Juuro had been piddling around his house. Waiting for Andrew to wake up. He had sustained some average injuries. The biggest to his right leg. The doctor had taken care of that though. This Andrew boy had been talking to some guy on his phone about a man being kidnapped and the SS had accused him of aiding the Vizards. Juuro knew this to be false, so he had pulled all the info over the last 100 years on humans that had aided the Vizards. This way the life span of this man was definitely covered. The doctor had managed to get the name of the kidnapee Timothy Jakes from the doped up Andrew. This man had not ever made contact with the Vizards. EVER. This proved interesting to Juuro for a couple reasons, one this means the SS is up to something, and two this man needed to be rescued. He might know why he was captured and be able to provide info as to the current plans of the SS. For now Juuro wandered back to the boys room to see on his progress. Juuro wanted to help this boy. He wanted to see what that unique soul pressure he had felt was all about. Also that demon thing whatever it was needed to be dealt with eventually... As Juuro rounded the corner to the stairs he walked up to the top floor of his house, which happened to be the one that connected to the outside. Juuro had built his house long ago and kept adding new levels below the house. He now had 5 story basement and a two story house. He wanted to scope the boy out and be sure he wasnt going to expose him or try to fght before he brought him into the floors below. One of which was meant solely for training. This boy would spend some time there. He needed it. Juuro was near the doorway when he heard the boy and doctor talking
    "Wh...where am I?" Andrew asked

"Master Jurro's house" the doctor said "He saved you kid"

"S....saved me?" Andrew asked "From that demon? But...normal humans can't..."

"He's not 'normal'" the doc chuckled "He's a vizard"
Juuro listened, he had to laugh a bit. This kid was a bit nervous, his voice shook a bit at the mentioning of him being a Vizard. juuro walked through the door.

"hey, how are you feeling, Andrew was it? It seems you picked a fight with a tough opponent, that particular opponent had enough power to go toe to toe with me on an average day. He/it could have killed you, I hope next time you dive into suicide you have a plan. All that aside, are you ok, you feeling alright? You kinda look like hell.."

The very instant Shinryu stabbed his blade into the shadows, intending to move towards the nearest human spiritual pressure, a voice spoke out, causing him to take a defensive stance reflexively.

“I cannot discern his location as well,” said a familiar voice, one Shinryu recognized as Shiva. “For now we must move on to the final human and come back to him later.”

Shinryu barely caught the meaning of these words; his mind was busy searching for an answer. How did Shiva penetrate his Shadow Realm? And where was he? Although his voice was reaching him, it didn’t seem to be coming from anywhere in particular.

“Taka Tavar, a Caucasian male with blue hair grey eyes and is the age of sixteen,” Shiva’s voice continued. “This human is different than the other you and Seru have dealt with, I want you to offer this one to join our side in promises of power and wealth and whatever else 16 year olds wishes for these days. If he refuses then simply like the other human give him a reason to come to Soul Society.”

Confusion and rage welling inside him, Shinryu shouted out to the shadows. “Shiva! How did you get in here? Where are you?” Shinryu said, glancing around, looking for the shifty demon. A minute passed, and no reply came. Shiva’s presence had left.

Basking again in silence, Shinryu took in the meaning of his orders, leaving the question of how Shiva had reached him for another day. He had to find a boy named Taka. Well, at least he had been given a description this time. Now that he knew which reiatsu he was seeking, things would be much easier. In fact, it took only a moment to locate his next target. But it wasn’t the only presence there. No, Shiva’s spiritual pressure was also in attendance, lingering very close to Taka, not more than a tenth of a mile.

“What is he playing at?” Shinryu wondered aloud “Does he intend to do the job he assigned me himself, mere moments ago?” Regardless, if Shiva acted rashly, like he had with the mugger from earlier, he would botch the job instantly. Things like this required a gentle touch. And while Shinryu was normally a forceful character, he did consider himself to possess that key quality. He would take care of the job quickly, before Shiva could get his messy hands into it.

“Take me to a shadow within 100 yards of Taka Tavar” Shiva commanded the shadows, and they began to move and change around him, directing him towards his location. He began to sink into them, and soon the familiar light of the real world was shining again in his eyes. He rose from the shadow cast by a tall building, and then glanced around for his target. Plainly in view was a Caucasian boy matching the description Shiva had given him, sitting near a restaurant with three girls his age. Oh, what vice in a creature so young, Shinryu disliked him already. Putting that aside, he moved his glance towards the reiatsu of Shiva.

If the spiky haired soul reaper nearby didn’t possess Shiva’s exact presence, Shinryu would have doubted it was him. But it had to be. Shiva had somehow camouflaged himself perfectly as the enemy, and was grinning widely. Why was he doing that? Was he planning an atta-

The area around Shiva burst apart, ruined by a huge release of Reiatsu. “Rash, Shiva, very rash,” Shinryu thought as people rapidly dispersed to avoid the gas explosion Shiva had just caused. He didn’t see how this accomplished anything. Shinryu was about to send a menacing glare the demon’s way when realization struck him. Two people had remained at the scene: Taka and one of the girls he had been with. Shiva had caused the explosion to lure Taka out and test his character simultaneously. Putting a bit more stock into Shiva’s planning skills, Shinryu merely watched as the two rushed to the scene of impact, hurrying to save those who had been injured.

In the next few moments, Taka and his friend had rescued all of those who remained among the living from the fire, and had demonstrated good use of their powers in the process. It was clear why Shiva wanted the boy’s help. As for that demonic Soul-Reaper imposter, Shiva merely remained where he stood, allowing Taka to leave with his friend without resistance. Shinryu quickly understood: Shiva had been the lure and agitator, and now Shinryu would finish his work.

Always staying 30 or more feet behind, Shinryu followed the two into an abandoned alleyway. "I swear whoever did that is getting a royal ass kicking." He heard Taka say to his girl. Surrounding himself with girls, saving lives then vowing to threaten them, this boy really seemed like a teetering scale. A nudge either way could send him down an entirely different path. Shinryu would be that nudge.

Suddenly, Shinryu began clapping. He walked closer to the two, keeping a slow rhythm with his hands all the while. “Well done” Shinryu commended “Very well done. Strong hearts such as yours could do much good, that I am sure. If you are willing, would you listen to my offer? “Shinryu finished. Now, how will you respond, Taka?

Seeing an attack coming in from behind towards his face, as well as one from another source, Karu absorbed himself into his shadow at the last minute, avoiding the attacks. As seru's attack with it's arm missed Karu leaped outand covered his blade with black Sanda-Fire and struck at Seru's head with it, moving at speeds that would certainly be deadly against a lesser opponent. Against someone like seru, however, Karu was sure this would be easily dodged. Karu knew he would need Bankai for this battle, and probably his hollow form too. As the attack grew closer to it's target, Karu charged a Cero with the other hand. Hmph, seems you need me as much as ever, Karu. His inner hollow said to him. Karu mentally (obviously only his hollow could hear it) responded by sending his hollow an image of 'the finger'.

"Its beyond me just what is wrong with the two of you, but maybe its something really simple with soul reapers. I can tell you people underestimate yourselves, the pathetic vizards too. There are far too many bankai used against me, they're all the same. Fear instilled in your hearts."

Seru floated by the soul reaper captain and watched a few hollows die. There were still reverberating effects of the kido that was used upon the area and many hollow had been severely injured and were still in the process of dying but Seru didn't care about them. Upon reaching a point that was several feet away from the soul reaper captain Seru looked back and faced the captain, "I think you'd be talking about me...even though you've got it a bit messed up. I'm responsible for bringing the hollows here but not for what they're doing, you've brought this upon yourselves and grown reckless these past few years. And more prejudice against people so unlike yourselves."

It moved closer to the captain and the sphere in its head spun around, the captain was probably either stuck on how Seru had managed to show up s easily behind him after all the commotion that had taken place, or maybe he just was thinking about the truth in the words Seru had spoken. The hollows in soul society continued to rampage and desiccate as much of what they called wretched was possible, every now and then you even seeing the random soul reaper being snatched up and eaten alive. "How exciting is this?? Such pleasure do I take in the torment of those whom have done so much wrong to others..."

Lightning crackled in the sky as Seru cackled, which added to the surreality of the situation, as Seru had no normal head ans no mouth, so the sound seemed to flow right off the spinning orb that was inside its head.

Kaiju starred down at the battle as it continued on. Every once in a while a small spiritual pressure would dissappear as the occasional soul reaper was defeated. Kaiju looked up, looked perfect for an attack. Suddenly Kaiju's attention was drawn from his daydream. A large spiritual pressure was reaching him from down in the fray. It wasn't a soul reaper and it defiantly wasn't a hollow. It felt off, like it belonged to some superior being. Kaiju instantly became interested, he wanted to find out where this spiritual pressure was coming from. Kaiju jumped down from the ledge of the Execution Hill, it was quite a ways down. His feet hit the toop of a building without a single sound.

Kaiju raced off in the direction of the spiritual pressure. All along the roads soul reapers were fighting hollows, some losing some winning. None of them even realized he was there, of course he was supressing his spritual pressure. He's fought soul reapers and hollows alike that have been slower or weakened by his spiritual pressure, plus he didn't want to be noticed yet. Up ahead a group of soul reapers had defeated a hollow and noticed him running towards them. "Hey you, stop." one said holding up his sword. The others readied themselves for a fight. "Ganging up on me are we, now that isn't very fair now is it." said Kaiju drawing his sword. The soul reapers parted slightly to get a better stand on the building, Kaiju took that moment for his attack. "Nadegiri." he said a few feet from the reapers.

To an untrained eye it would have looked like he simply ran right through the group. But to someone who knew the technique well they would have seen Kaiju quickly and forcefully slash each soul reaper very quickly as he ran by them. Kaiju was already a few yards beyond them before they each fell to the ground. "I didn't even need to release my zanpakuto." said Kaiju looking disappointed. By now his love for fighting was surfacing and he was starting to get antsy for a real fight. "I think it is just about time for me to give the signal for the invasion, but first that spiritual pressure." said Kaiju with a large grin on his face.

Ahead there was a lot of crashes and and bangs. Suddenly a sound could be heard from afar. It was unsettling and it made Kaiju even more interested. Ahead a clearing was coming into view. A strange creature was fighting a soul reaper. Kaiju jumped down from the building still a bit of a ways from the fray. The spiritual pressure was coming from the creture. It was hard to tell wether it was male or female, plus it was hard to tell if it had any emotions at all seeing as it had no face. Suddenly a burst of energy in the shape of an orb shot into the air and exploded in a burst of sound. Below a captain appeared. While Kaiju continued to stare and think a soul reaper was sneaking up behind him. Kaiju knew he was there, the reaper readied an attack. Instantly Kaiju drew his sword stabbed backwards into the reaper and drew it back out. The soul reaper went down instanty.

Kaiju looked back wiping the blood from his sword with cloth from the reaper. "Nice try sneeking up on me, but not good enough." he said returning his sword to its sheath. Kaiju slowly made his way to the area of the confrontation. Fights happening all around him. "Hmm that must be the being Seru I read about in the reports." Kaiju thought to himself. Suddenly Kaiju heard a howl behind him. Apparently a hollow was finished with its fight and was looking for another opponent. Kaiju looked up at the towering hollow. Instantly Kaiju let loose a bit of his spiritual pressure. The hollow came down in an instant. It's body crushed by his spiritual pressure. Kaiju continued on until he was not more than about 100 yards from the area Seru was in. Kaiju jumped behind a wall that had been partially destroyed. Kaiju peared around it so as to not be seen but still able to watch.

“And how exactly do you know I’m not as smart as you hm?? Anyways no the vizards do not have such a power of this moment so I say they have gained a new ally and a powerful one at that.” Hayate smiled slightly at Hibari's annoyance. Even at a time like this, he could not help but slip in a small insult into their conversation. "Either way....the vizards have made this move. Don't you agree."

Hibari did not respond, his mind preoccupied by the ongoing events no doubt. Instead he motioned for Hayate to follow him as he flash stepped away. Naturally, the red haired captain followed behind--carefully avoiding sporadic cero blasts which came their way. The scene outside was surprising to say the least. Being reasonably young by Soul Society's standards, Hayate had never seen such an attack launched against them. He was not naive enough to think that it was impossible for them to be infiltrated but such an ominous fight, this early, was not anticipated. "Fire, panic, destroyed buildings....this is war."

“Listen we need to find the source the being that sent them here, if my hunch is correct then he must still be here somewhere,” said Hibari abruptly, re-focusing Hayate's thoughts. "Funny I thought the same." It was easy enough to find the 'being' they were looking for. They simply found-or rather sliced-their way to the highest point of hollow concentration and sure enough too beings who were clearly not Soul Reapers were 'sparring' in mid air.

To be honest, Hayate only focused on one of them. The characteristics of this being intrigued him--despite its humanoid shape, the being seemed almost alien. The real oddity was its 'head', devoid of any normal features, only revealing a strange spinning orb. However, something Hibari did forced his gaze instead, "Agnosco Sonus Messor!" Hayate looked at him with surprise as he shot a powerful sound attack towards their opponents. "What the hell? Bankai already?" He looked directly at the strange 'man' and said to himself, "Has this guy made Hibari........afraid?"

"Which one of you two are responsible for these hollow?!" asked Hibari, his voice grower louder and louder. Hayate sighed, "Nah...he's just angry. However, that's even more unbelievable." Clearly this attack was simply for intimidation, it was obvious-atleast to him-that the two beings floating above them would not be severely injured. However, Hayate did not expect even the seemingly more powerful of the two beings to be completely unscathed and floating near Hayate and Hibari.

"Its beyond me just what is wrong with the two of you, but maybe its something really simple with soul reapers. I can tell you people underestimate yourselves, the pathetic vizards too. There are far too many bankai used against me, they're all the same. Fear instilled in your hearts." The being got several feet behind the two and continued talking, addressing Hibari's question this time, "I think you'd be talking about me...even though you've got it a bit messed up. I'm responsible for bringing the hollows here but not for what they're doing, you've brought this upon yourselves and grown reckless these past few years. And more prejudice against people so unlike yourselves."

Hayate sighed, 'you've brought this upon yourselves' was a rather cliche line. Of course, there was some truth to his words. After all, they did know about this conflict for a while now and should have made plans for a situation like this. "Most of the other captains didn't seem too bothered when I mentioned that all those meetings ago," Hayate thought, remembering how much their nonchalantness annoyed him.

The being grew closer to them before shifting his 'gaze' to the scene below. Hayate did the same but quickly looked away--he knew the scale of the destruction that was going on already. "How exciting is this?? Such pleasure do I take in the torment of those whom have done so much wrong to others..." Hayate could feel his annoyance growing. So much so that he feared his calm shell would be broken. As the being laughed, lightning crackled above them.

Hayate took a deep breath, keeping himself calm. "Don't tell me you're one of those villians. The type who is messed up enough to rationale such killing. If you're speaking about the vizards then don't bother. They are the ones who have rung the bells of war. Selfish enough to cause bloodshed in a fight they will not win. With or without a being like you." With that he grabbed the hilt of his sword which was located just to the side of his neck, hung upon his back.

Prejudice? How were they prejudice when they tried to negotiate peace with the Vizards? No they were right in all of what they’ve done so far and this being was nothing but a creature wishing to play god spinning a web of lies and manipulating those around it.

“Enough” his then grabbed his blade with both hands and brought it to his side, his spiritual gradually rose cracking the ground and sending bits of rocks in the air around him.

“I will end you with this next attack” this was one of his most powerful bankai attacks as he has defeated numerous legendary warriors with it, he has a feeling that the being would survive it but at least he could damage it.

A blue orb appeared on the tip of his blade flickering, as it grew small. Hibari then flung it towards Seru and as it touched the being it expanded exponentially. The sphere hummed a low buzzing sound but then erupted into a ferocious roar. As it did such the sphere grew a bit larger flashing various colors and then condensed to almost nothing within a matter of seconds.

“Heh song three does works doesn’t it,” he said flashing a smile to Hayate, the being appeared gone but he could still feel its strange presence.

“What do you say we hit it with formation delta when it comes at us again hm?” formation delta was something the two use when they are together, while Hibari activates the 2nd song Hayate would hit the opponent with powerful kido and finally an attack from his zanpakto. “You lead the way bud just tell me when its time to use it.”

"It seemed that Seru had been wrong about these beings after all. it should have been paying closer attention to the flux of power that the captain was giving off but it had not. Instead as it nonchalantly talked about its opinions based upon what it'd seen for years...just like now when the captain blabbered on about what other people had done. Simply justifying Soul Society's ends for harming other people and choosing the actions that caused the vizards to have feelings such as these against them.

    "Its a pity..."

The air around Seru roared and the ground and air around it continued to shake and vibrate in a tremendous force of spiritual energy. Seru stood there, its body being knocked about in the confined space somewhat which caused it to glow feverishly before rippling once more and vanishing along with the rest of the energy.

For several seconds all was silent and then several moments passed with not so much as breeze. “You lead the way bud just tell me when its time to use it.” The air screeched as Seru seemed to leap out of an expanding portal, its arms pushing out and the orb inside its head spinning and shaking,m giving off a strang light that washed over both the captain and his first in command it seemed, Seru laughed as it whiped down it arms and spun them around the two like rope and the space around them began to pulse and distort with energy.

"Hahahaha, I'm impressed, that was quite the dangerous display of an attack I'll admit. Just not enough for you not to get caught in this." The space began to ripple backwards, long since have cutting off use of either man's body, they were paralyzed, their body's spiritual energy frozen, limbs locked down in a pressure of complete vice. "Bye now....have fun with the humans." They were gone after that, body's and spirits alike sucked away unto the Earth.

Seru turned its attentions back to Karu, whom must have noticed that the thunder and lightning crackling in the sky had only been intensifying itself, building up to a point where lightning bolts were falling from the sky around Soul Society, taking out soul reapers and hollows alike, it didn't matter to Seru in the end. "You can try me like this if that's what you want...but you'll realize soon that your energy is draining that being affected by purification is more dangerous than you'd expect." It looked down at Karu. "Come on, why not be on my side, you and I really have the same goals. I don;t really want to hurt anyone either."

“What the-“ true he had anticipated that the being would survive and attack them again but not so soon. A strange light entangled pulsating and distorting with its energy, Hibari began to feel his spiritual pressure fading and he could no longer move his body.

"Bye now....have fun with the humans."

“What no!” Hibari could feel them being sucked away he struggled and fought it as much as he could but it was useless. Their beings were distorted along the way pushing and colliding against the odd energy within the portal until finally they arrived on the world of the living.

The light that had trapped them earlier were gone and their spiritual pressure was back as well. He glanced around taking notice that they were at the Karakura high school parking lot.

“Hey Hayate talk to me man are you alright?” he glanced over to the new clock that was upon the front of the building; it read 11:55 p.m. almost midnight….

"Join... you?!? Alright, why don't you explain how our goals really coincide? True, we both fight to harm those who have caused harm to others, but what did the soul reapers do to deserve this?" Karu asked. In truth, he was appalled by the thought of joining this monster, but he still felt that it did matter what the thing said. Perhaps there was some truth to the evils of soul society. Karu would find out the truth, one way or another. If he didn't agree, did it make any difference really? If he joined Seru the soul reapers would kill him when they won, if he didn't seru would kill him now. So the best Karu could do would be to make the choice best for the world. Karu steadied his weapon and stabbed it into the ground, ready to pull it out on a moment's notice.

It was midnight, well almost midnight.
11:53pm was the exact time but Jerico was always known for being fashionably early. The teenager walked alone down the road towards the high school, longcoat billowing in the breeze. He didn't like being alone for such an important task ahead of him but he didn't have much choice. Yukina sure as hell wasn't coming with him to soul society and Andrew was still MIA even after many attempts to find him.
It was like he'd vanished off the face of the earth.
So Jerico had packed himself a bookbag full of various foods and survival gear needed for the journey, changed into the special combat clothing Yukina had made for him and set out, leaving a note behind to explain his absence and not to worry (he'd been staying at Yukina's for the day and a half). Jerico sighed as he came within about half a yard away from the parking lot, wondering if his dad was going to be okay and if he'd be able to save him from those soul reaper bastards who took him.
    "Jerico!"
Jerico stopped walking and spun around as two figures walked towards him. Both were equipped with bags just like his and one of them looked oddly familiar....
"Andrew?" Jerico asked, shock in his voice "What are YOU doing here?!"
"Going to soul society with you, obviously" Andrew said with a roll of his eyes "Nice clothes"
Jerico smirked "Thanks! Yukina made them for me. The dress shirt and pants and shoes are all made out of tougher material so they won't get ruined very easily yet still comfortable. They also serve as very light armor that might just save my life if I get hit in the wrong place"
    "and the longcoat?"
"It might stop an attack or two but its mostly for that 'cool guy' effect"
    "Why am I not surprised?"
The two chuckled "So where the hell have you been?" Jerico demanded "Yunkina's been worried sick!"
Andrew grinned "Its a long, slightly painful, yet educational story"
"Break it up into segments then, we've gotta go" Jerico said as the trio began to walk. Andrew quickly summed up what had happened to him up until he woke up in Juuro's room when he was interrupted.
    "Andrew!!!"
A pink haired something crashed into Andrew, knocking him to the ground in a bearhug. Jerico and Juuro snickered.
    "Yu....Yukina! What are you..?
"I had a feeling you'd show up here" Yukina replied "So I brought you a change of clothes similar to Jerico's. Just without the longcoat. I figured you weren't that vain"
    "Hey!!"
"Thanks sis" Andrew said, looking over the bag of clothes she'd handed him "This is great!"
"Make sure neither one of you gets yourself killed in there okay?" Yukina asked, looking worried.
"Of course" Andrew said "You know we're hard to kill!"
"I'm sure Seru was thinking the exact same thing" Juuro muttered sarcastically
"Shut up!" Andrew snapped "I'll get him the next time!"
    "mmhmm"
"Lets get moving" Jerico said looking down at his watch "11:56"
With one last goodbye to Yukina the trio began to walk towards the school parking lot only to see
"Thats a...those are..... soul reapers!" Jerico gasped, eyes instantly hardening as they got closer to the mysterious soul reapers"
He clenched his fist. Just what did they know about his father's kidnapping?
