The King's Request

[Nami]

Contrary to what it looked like, Sakura wasn't cowering behind her staff. She actually casted a spell around herself, "coating" herself in a white light that repelled attacks like a strong sheild. And, luckily, her spell worked just in time. When the bullet hit her arm, it ricocheted off of her and landed harmlessly on the ground. She huffed and pushed herself up, a little tired from the shock, and ran from the rooted monster. It couldn't move, so it continued to spit bullets at her. They didn't hurt her, but with each seed, Sakura's sheild was wearing thin. Luckily, she managed to make it to where the others had arrived before her sheild wore off. She gulped in some air and turned to Franky, Sora, Ari and Riku, then rose her staff up.
The light that came from the orb on the tip of the staff glowed, temporarily illuminating the feild. The wings on the staff flapped lively, and feathers of light that came from them swirled around the fighters. Suddenly, they began to glow just as she had before. She created a light sheild for each of them, using much of her strength. She gasped and leaned on the hole in the wall for support.

Everyone left. Huh. How nice of them. Kairi was still in the town, though, doing the deeds that she thought most important: protecting the civillians. The half-hearts and heartless were swarming the entrances of buildings and any unlucky passerby, and Kairi was there with her keyblade to estroy them. The more she did it, the less work it seemed. She was surprised when she started to actually have fun counting off each enemy she destroyed. Then, she saw two large enemies. And, Pearlscale fighting all by herself!
Kairi went for a running start and jumped onto an onning of a building, then climbed up and jumped up to the roof. Once up, she ran and jumped onto higher rooftops until she was at the Twilight Thorn's head height. Perfect! She flung herself off the highest point she was with her keyblade extended. The keyblade stuck into the back of the Thorn's neck, securing her place there. After that, she began to slash at it's head while it flailed and attempted to buck her off.

Franky and Sora were running towards where the scream was heard.

Franky started thinking to himself " What if she's hurt. What if she is on the verge of dieing. What if she is being swallowed by one of those monsters. "
Franky started blaming himself for not helping her in the first place. " This time I will protect her. " He said to himself getting angerier.

They both reached the forest while Sakura ran towards them.
Franky was happy she wasn't hurt but was furious to see these new enemies trying to attack her.

A sudden glow appeared in front of him. It appeared that Sakura protected all of them with a magic spell

" I'll take half you take the rest." Sora told Franky

Franky nodded and lifted his spear

Ice shards hit half of the monsters. " Those are my half" Franky said while his Spear began to glow

He sa the light and understood what it meant

Suddenly the Dragoon on the spear began to seperate and became another spear.

Franky yelled in anger " Never touch her again !"

He quickly finished his half off while Sora destroyed his half.

Sora was amazed at the power of his spear.
" You have to tell me where you got that spear." Sora told him

[Bebop Blues]

Ari and Riku finished off the rest of the heartless and half-hearts. "So how do you know Mickey?" Riku asked as his keyblade disappeared.

"Leon told me to visit him since I had a keyblade when I went to visit him one day in Traverse Town. I went to Disney Castle and met Queen Minnie and King Mickey. The King suggested I'd visit Master Yen Sid. The King showed me the way to Yen Sid's castle. Yen Sid taught me some magic for a few months, all water spells, and then he made me the King's apprentice."

"So you trained under Master Yen Sid and Mickey?" Ari nodded. "What was it like?"

"Master Yen Sid was more strict than King Mickey, but they both had an infinite amount of patience."

"How long did you train for?" Riku asked.

"I started training under Yen Sid and the King when I was seven. I returned to Traverse Town when I was twelve, so about five years."

"He must be stronger than he looks," Riku thought to himself. "Would you want to spar some time?" Riku asked.

"Sure." Ari said with a smile.

"You're late!" said Pearlscale.
"THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR THAT!" shouted Kairi.
"Fine... wait, Storm Rider isn't affected by lighting...."
That's when Pearlscale got an idea and struck the Storm Rider in the head with her claw. It crashed into Twilight Thorn, Kairi had jumped off, and both vanished.
"Is it over?" asked Kairi.
Just then, something started to appear.
"Not quite..." said Pearlscale.

Franky combined back the dragon spear and the regular spear.

He looks back to see Sakura on the wall with her staff held up.

He smiles knowing that she is okay now.

" Hey so since we got a little free time, how about telling me about that spear of yours." Sora said standing in front of him blocking Sakura.

" I'm a little tired I'll tell you some other day." Franky said knowing Sora would get annoyed.

"Fine." Sora said

Both laughed but suddenly heard a roar.

Franky saw Pearlscale fighting a huge monster.

Sora saw it to and imideatly recognized it.

They both ran towards the huge beast as it seemed like it was falling.

[Bebop Blues]

Riku and Ari looked at each other. "We can't just leave her here." Riku said to Ari. Ari shrugged. "What should we do?" Ari out his hand to his chin. Ari walked over to where Sakura was and sat down on the ground next to her. Riku sat on the other side of her. "Now what?" Riku asked. Riku was looking up at the sky. The sun was beginning to rise. Ari looked up at the sky also. He stared at the clouds going by in the orange sky. Tears began to fill his eyes. The sky in Twilight Town reminded him of his home.

Within seconds after the enemy was wiped, Sakura's eyes were glazed with her tiredness. She had never had to use so much power in a stressing situation before. It was harder than she thought it would be. She sighed. She was such a failure, being unable to help anyone. She was weak and fragile, what could she possibly do?

Exhausted and discouraged, she took a seat as Riku and Ari had. There was only two enemies left, but they looked quite taken care of. She yawned and took the oppertunety to inspect the two boys. She slowly shifted her liquid chocolate eyes over to them. They were both strikingly handsome. That was something that she noticed quickly. In fact, all of the people she had met today were amazingly good-looking. She sort of felt plain now.

Sakura closed her eyes and sighed. She was about ready to pass out, she was so sleepy. To keep herself from doing so, she opened her eyes again. Something made turn her head towards the dark-haired boy. Was he... yes, he was crying. She felt hesitant to confront him about it. It wasn't her buisness, right? But, she couldn't stand to watch it. She turned her body towards him and tilted her head sympatheticly.

"Are you... alright?"

With the help of Pearlscale, Kairi had taken down the Twilight Thorn. She sighed in satisfaction and jumped down, landing next to Sora and Franky on her feet gracefully. That was when something began to appear...

Sora and Franky were running towards the big clash that happened between the two monsters.
The Sunrise colored the sky into a bright orange.

Franky looked up and then said " You know my home town never had a beautiful sight like this."

Sora was surprised by what he said
" So what world were you born in ? " Sora asked

" I was born in what's now know as Dreadsville." Franky said as he was having a flashback

" It wasn't really dreadfull during my baby years. It was peaceful and I was always happy.I had a best friend named Aaron. And believe it or not i had a little girlfriend to. In fact Sakura looks alot like her. Her name was Jennifer but we called her Jenny. We were in love even though we were young. She always told me I love you but I didn't know what to say. I wish I just told her that I loved her too."

Sora was surprised to hear that and then realised thats why he always smiled at her and was angry when someone attacked her

Franky continued" Untill one day all that happyness went away. Half-Hearts came to the village I lived in and it was being burnt down. My parents somehow knew about this and had a mini gummi ship for me to escape. I didn't want to go yet and I was seperated from Jenny.My parents put this spear in my Gummi and said it would be useful someday. My last sight was my parents and Jenny getting killed by a mysterious figure. And I never knew what happened to Aaron. "

Sora felt sadness in himself hearing him say this.

" Hey I'm sorry that happened to you. I wish it could've went better than that."
Franky started to tear but quickly removed it so Sora didn't see it .

" Yea I do to.WhenIi fight I think of Jenny and i go all i can possibly go. Now just looking at Sakura makes me think of her. So all I can do is smile and believe she might still be alive. We passed the world on our way here and i only saw true darkness. It is controlled by the Half-Hearts. "

They reached the Battle site and Kairi and Pearlscale came down by their side.

" Looks like you guys did a good job " Franky said while clearing his voice

Just as he finished his sentence both monsters started coloding.

"Looks like this isn't over " Sora said as they prepared for battle

[Bebop Blues]

Ari wiped the tears from his eyes and responded to Sakura with a nod. Riku noticed Ari had been crying also. "The sky reminds you of your home doesn't it." Riku said looking at Ari. Ari nodded once again. "What happened to it."

"It's heart was destroyed by the darkness. Yen Sid suggested King Mickey and I search for it. All were a bunch of rock's. My house was still intact on one of them. It was just floating there on the rock, empty." They all fell silent.

"I'm sorry." Riku said.

"So was I." Ari said.

[Nami]

It was almost hard to believe that someone her own age had suffered a lifetime longer. She looked at her hands, which were neatly folded in her lap, over the handle of her long staff. She was at a lost for words. What could she say to cheer up someone who has felt pain she could never imagine. She had lost her parents when she was younger, but she had her brother and her home. She still had somethings close to her heart.
"I'm... I am not sure... w-what to say, b-but... I... I wish you best..."

Kairi cursed silently under her breath. She was getting tired of this. She summoned her keyblade back again and stood at Sora's side, defensive position. Now that most of her work was done, she was on the defense. The flank of the party was her priority.

Franky tried to split his spear in half again but it didn't want to

" Oh great when I need you you bust on me " Franky yelled at his spear

" Whatever i'll just go first." Sora said charging towards the beast hidden in the shadow's

A bang was heard then sora went flying back .

"He's huge. Might be the toughest one yet. " Sora said getting up from the blast.

" Well its because your to weak let me bring him down a little for you." Franky said while running towards the beast

" 3 , 2 , 1." Sora said when Franky was blasted back as well

" Lets double team them. " Franky said while Sora followed him

Sora pushed Franky up using his keyblade and franky stabbed the Monster in the face.

He was then pushed off

Pearlscale casted her Lighting at his head. Then the monster started to glow and showed the power it had

"I got an idea but we all gotta pitch in." Franky said while sora and Pearlscale understood

They all dodged the attack and all went on a full on attack.

Sora pushed Franky with his keyblade again and went to distract the hideous monster.

Franky stabbed the monster's eye and jumped off

" Now!" he screamed at Pearlscale and she casted her strongest Thunder spell.

It hit the spear which conducter ice and lighting into the monsters body

It Froze in a stance and to end it Franky took back his spear casted his strongest Ice spell.

The monster stood there in a block of ice as the Sunrise reflected its light on the Ice

" Well look's like where done here for a while." Franky said as he headed back for his ship

He looked at the sunset and said to himself

" This might be the last time I see something as beautiful as that."

As he got on the ship he was locked in.

He banged on the door as hard as he could but suddenly the lights turned off and a hologram appeared.

It was a girl. A girl with light blue hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a dress. She looked like she was being tortured and is now unconcious

Franky froze and tears started pouring out of his eyes. " Is it really you... Jenny " He said as he continued to stare at the hologram.

Then it automatically turned to a masked man.

" She's here Franky waiting for you. " The masked man told him.

" Where is she !" He said in anger as tears continued to pour down.

" Go to the coordinates I am sending you. and once there you will see her. COME ALONE" The Masked man said as the hologram turned off.

When Franky recieved the coordinates he was surprised to see where he had to go.

Franky knew what he had to do. He opened the door and waited for Ari to come

He sat quietly in his turret and didn't make a sound.

[Bebop Blues]

Ari looked at Sakura and smiled. He laid his hand on hers. "He says thank you." Riku said, also smiling. Ari out his hood back on his head, stood up and held his hand out to Sakura. "Yeah we better get going." Riku said as he stoop up. Riku dusted himself off. "We could use your help." Riku said. Ari still had his hand held out towards Sakura. Even though his face was hidden, Ari had a big smile on his face.

[Nami]

A sweet, small smile graced onto Sakura's lips. For some reason, Ari's grin had made her want to smile. Maybe it was the happiness of anyone in general that made her feel like smiling. It was nice to see somebody being joyous. She closed her eyes and felt a blush fancy her cheeks. It felt like they were burning. She helped herself up with the help of Ari's hand and looked at Riku.
"My... help? But... I can't do anything...," She said, being her overly modest self.

[Bebop Blues]

"Well from the fight earlier I can guess you know some pretty defensive magic." Riku said as he began to walk away. "You're more useful then you know. Ari nodded in agreement. "Hey Ari, why do you let Franky speak for you? I mean of all the people you could've picked, why him?" Ari shrugged. "I know he's your best friend, but he's so...."

"Exactly like Sora?" Ari said. Riku became silent.

"I wonder what they've been doing this entire time?" Riku said. Ari shrugged again. "If they were fighting Sora probablt didn't do anything." Suddenly five Golems and five Hounds appeared in front of them. "This is getting old." Riku said as he summoned his Keyblade.
