The King's Request

Ienzo read the paper's front page aloud before looking to Sora and Riku.
"Stealing hearts got something to do with your monsters?"
Riku nodded and sighed.
"Half-hearted and heartless both devour hearts, but that sounds more like the half-hearted's doing," he said before giving a brief explanation to the group about their enemies.
"That's what the second Pyramid Head was then. A half-heatred," Ayane said, recalling him and the creatuers that followed him around in Silent Hill.
"And the other things that followed him around... Explains why they could be destroyed where all the other monsters natiev to Silent Hill couldn't," Ienzo added.
"So, to this Sanitarium Square then?" Sora asked.
"Yup. The question is, how do we navigate an over-crowded city without getting ourselves lost?" Riku pondered.
"Or separated," Sora added.
"Perhaps we should try to find someone who could help us," Ayane suggested.
"Did any of those people look friendly to you?" Ienzo asked, one eyebrow raised.
"Erm... No, not really..."

Shilo let out a huff as Repo explained himself. She leaned on Graverobber's back, hoping that this whole thing wouldn't take long. She didn't say anything else, this being Graverobber's business. He was the brains of the entire thing. She was an apprentice still, though he called her his partner now. She felt she could still do better in the Zydrate selling business.
Or maybe that was just her excuse so she could stay with Graverobber...
Before Shilo knew it, Graverobber had given the Repo Man what he wanted and the lid to the dumpster was closed again.

Larci tapped out a rythm while Sora and Riku started explaining what those monsters, well at least some of them, were. With each tap of her finger, a different picture paired with each statement. Pyramid Head. Twin. Heartless. Crawler. Nobody. Slasher. Half-hearted. Breather. Darkness. The sirens. Light. Sun peering over the hills. Nothing. She stopped tapping at that. What does 'nothing' look like? Hm.

"Did any of those people look friendly to you?" Ienzo asked, one eyebrow raised.

"Erm... No, not really..."

"Why can't we just find more alleys like this that lead to... Wherever that place is. It seems like not too many people use them." Larciras just had to add something. Eh, well the dark, cluttered alleys were far better then the blood-stained, claustrophobic, halls in Silent Hill. That was paling slightly in comparison even to the heavily scarred populace here.

Lumaria hacked through to the exceedingly annoying Half-hearts. How they kept coming, he had no clue, but the blue-net did know one thing. They were stubborn as all get-out.

A little over zealously, he slashed a white night in half. His laugh of victory quickly changed to a yelp of fright. Yet another Arcane Mage came into existence and began it's barrage of elemental attacks on the poor Somebody. Jumping back, Lumaria swung his weapon at the creature. Panting slightly, he called out to Makenshi, "How long do you think we can hold this up?" Red Spheres, burning with flame, came hurtling towards Lumaria, and he barely dodged them.

Mickey was getting nowhere fast. The Dark roads were becoming increasingly tangled and in some points, engulfed by the void. "This has to be stopped..."

"How long do you think we can hold this up?" Makenshi nearly swore at the question, having no answer to give. He lived to fight, but this? He leapt out of the way of an oncoming blizzard attack, taking out a Sniper and Wight Knight out of reflex. Another Arcane Mage popped into existance, and Makenshi couldn't help but feel hopeless. How were they going to get out of this?
His body reacted to the sight of an opening before he even really saw the chance, darting out of the way of an incoming flame sphere, towards an open coffin. He remembered that coffin from the first time he'd been forced to stay in Halloween town. Umless the half-hearted chose to follow them through it, they'd make it to Boneyard 1. They'd be safe.

"Forget them for now, even retreat has its place in battle!" he announced, launching a pathetically weak fire spell at the nearest Arcane Mage to get its attention away from the bluenet. "get to that coffin, I'll distract them!" he jerked his head in the direction of the blue-gray stone before springing out of the way of a blizzard attack.

The man in red smirked. "Because I'm a friend of Sora. My name is Auron, and this fellow" He looks to his companion "Is Red XIII. We came to bring you to him, he's going to be on his way to Olympus Coliseum, and we need you there" He implants his blade into the ground and pulls something out of his pocket, and placed it on the ground, which made a dark portal open. "Won't you come?" he asked while returning to a standing position.

But Kenji was still grinning at Red XIII, patting his head affectionately. Then once he heard about Auron's offer he stopped immediately, "Cool! Let's go!", then he seemed to remember something. Running over to Kairi he grabbed the sphere out of her hands and pulled a little part of it, which formed into a smaller sphere, then quickly he placed his hand on her chest and her body absorbed it. She recoiled back in shock and some disgust but he didn't seem to care too much, as he ran over to Red XIII and wrapped his arms around its stomach and lifted the beast up.
Heading towards the gate he smiled, "Finally! A way out of this boring place, right Reddy?"

Kairi, just put a hand to her chest, wondering for a little bit if this guy had any sense of what not to do with females. She then takes her hand and rubs her left arm a bit, still feeling a bit ichy, then she looks at Auron and says, "But... Sora wasn't going to the Coliseum.... He went to some new place... and he has already saved that world.... Why would he go back?" She puts her hand back to her chest again, wondering what was going on. She somewhat knew about Auron, but as she had last heard from Sora, Auron was under some sort of spell placed by Hades. The Undead God who was a sworn enemy....


Meanwhile...


"Well look who decided to make his triumphant return" a voice echoed around Cloud "Did ya kick the bucket, or are you just coming for a visit, a dead girlfriend perhaps?" Behind Cloud, Hades appears in a cloud of black smoke. "You're a bit early to save the damsel in distress, why not come back in ten minutes or so?"

Cloud turns to face Hades, who still looked the same. Black garments, and a head full of blue flames. Cloud says gloomly, "No... Just passing through. But, what do you mean... by 'save the damsel'?" He looks at Hades, and puts a hand onto the handle of his buster sword. He never had truly trusted Hades to begin with, and that last statement just sealed his opinions of Hades.

Up above, Hercules and Phil had been having a debate about nymphs, when these... creatures came in and one talked!! Phil, for his reaction, just fell backwards, while Hercules just draws his sword and demands, "Who are you? What did you want?" For the thing that had talked, had talked at a blazing speed.

"THE CASTLE!" Both flung themselves over to the dashboard, rather awestruck at the world in front of them. Morya, who had been startled and had slightly flinched back, leaned her head between their heads and asks, "What castle? Who's castle is that? And why so exicted? Is this your first time here?" Her tail twitches.

[Xeths]

Dyem had no idea what the group was talking about; it really didn't matter what the the creatures were so much as where they were, and where they were wasn't here. He nudged Ayane, and whispered in her ear.

"I'm gonna do some scouting. This conversation lost me from the start, heh heh."

He slipped deeper into the alley, and fired his gauntlet, ratcheting up to the roof of one of the buildings where he crouched down to get a better view. He was still dazzled by the sheer amount of activity in the city; zepplins floated about blaring colorful messages, odd slogans and songs echoed through the streets, the tangy scent of food rose from the streets, and the smell of antiseptic dominated all, as though the entire world were one gigantic surgical suite. His eyes scanned the streets, looking for a hint as to where to go, but nothing stood out: In this urban jungle, it really didn't matter where they went. Every place looked the same... However, something finally caught his eye when he noticed people seemed to be clearing the streets for a large vehicle. It moved through, a few streets away from the group's alley, and as it passed by, Dyem caught a clear look at it: It was a huge flat bed truck that was carrying... Their ship?! Dyem gasped and dropped down to the group again like a spider.

"Guys! They've got our ship! There's a truck going by two streets over, and they've got our ship in the back of it! What're we gonna do?"

Riku frowned at Larci's question.
"Because alleyways usually end up getting us lost. The main streets, though crowded, will be quicker."
"That still presents the problem of finding Sanitarium Square," Ienzo said.
"I'm telling you, we ne-"
Ayane was interrupted by Dyem's shouts. Her eyes went wide.
"What?! Who the hell stole our ship!?" Sora asked.
Riku and Ienzo were already running to the entrance of the alleyway. They burst through the crowd, fighting their way through to get to the street Dyem had indicated. Ayane and Sora followed behind them.
When they came to the second street, they all stopped suddenly, seeing the line of trucks.
"What is this?! The entire army of the world?" Ayane asked. "Jeez..."
"I see our ship! There! On the back of that truck in the middle!" Sora shouted, pointing.
"I got this..." Ienzo said, stepping forward, spell book opened to a page towards the middle of the end. He began chanting and the book glowed silver. His eyes focused on the truck with the ship. It glowed silver for a moment before suddenly freezing in place. It and anyone inside it would not be moving as long as Ienzo was chanting. He continued to walk towards it, Ayane staying by him to protect him while Sora and Riku ran towards their gummi ship, keyblades summoned. Ayane pulled out two of her daggers. She trusted Dyem to help her guard Ienzo from attack. She casted Aero on him, just in case these people had any magic or ranged weapons.

Auron and Red XIII

Red XIII sighed, then smiled. "Yes, I'll be happy to take you as well...er, what's your name again?" He asked "I am deeply sorry if you said it before, but I've been in a deep, dark cavern for a few years, so I haven't been thinking properly, More focused on survival, you know?" Meanwhile, Auron listened to Kairi. "Well, they have rebuilt the Coliseum, and reopened the contests, He said he wanted to take on the Phil Cup again. Perhaps you can cheer him on to victory?"

Hades and Cloud
Cloud turns to face Hades, who still looked the same. Black garments, and a head full of blue flames. Cloud says gloomly, "No... Just passing through. But, what do you mean... by 'save the damsel'?" Hades smirked "Please" he said as he watched cloud get ready to attack "You beat me out there, but don't think you can hurt me in my own domain. Especially a knight in shining armor like yourself. Sora had that Medal of Heroes or whatever it was, but you don't have that little get out of jail free card, do you?" His hands lit ablaze "So you still wanna dance?"

Cait Sith and Mog
Up above, Hercules and Phil had been having a debate about nymphs, when these... creatures came in and one talked!! Cait Sith jumped in suprise, and fell off of Mog. "Yeesh!" He said as he picked himself up and dusted himself off "I'm just lookin' for somebody! Somebody who doesn't belong here, other than me. Anyone know anybody like that?"

Dyem reacted quickly, soaring up to the rooftops, and crouching low to avoid detection. No one her could teleport as far as he knew, so he was safe for now. He rested his gauntlets on the ledged, and watched Ienzo; if anybody got close, he could snag them off the ground and toss them away. As the GeneCops prepped their first attack, Dyem watched carefully.

As soon as the truck stopped, around forty GeneCops flowed out of the other trucks, forming a spread out semi-circle to help focuse their fire without hitting each other. Forty polished machined guns rose up and fired without warning, dowsing Sora and Riku in a withering hail of hot lead. Several sharpshooters appeared on the roof top, and knelt down, bringing their large scoped rifles up to their eyes. Dyem shot his gauntlet to the opposite side of the group, and jumped off the ledge of the building. As the wire suddenly caught tension, it staightened out and knocked the snipers onto their butts, sending shots plinking off the roofs and windows of nearby buildings. Retracting his wire, Dyem ratcheted back up and vaulted over the ledge, swinging hard; his fist connected with the face of a sniper, and the man dropped like a rock, rifle skittering off the building. Dyem jumped into the air to get a higher angle, and shot his grapple onto the last man in line, the retracted it as he landed. Not only did it haul the man off his perch and into the others, but it snapped the line tightly down onto the backs of the other snipers' necks, knocking them out like a "Judo Chop." Satisfied, he resumed his position, covering Ienzo."

Ayane was interrupted by Dyem's shoutings about their ship problem. Her eyes widened in surprise.
"What?! Who the hell stole our ship!?" Sora asked.
And then... Chaos. Sora, Riku, Ienzo, and Ayane all went sprinting for the streets just as huge, military looking vehicles drobe by.

Larciras stood for a moment, piecing together what had happened and stammering, "Can't we just?" Too late, the others were already off and working at getting the ship back. "Dammit! YOU'RE ALL GONNA GET US INTO SERIOUS TROUBLE! Gah, Nero, Zero, C'mon!" She and her two dogs followed after the already squabling party.

"What is this?! The entire army of the world?" Ayane asked. "Jeez..."
"I see our ship! There! On the back of that truck in the middle!" Sora shouted, pointing at the familiar structure.
"I got this..." Ienzo said, stepping forward, spell book opened to a page towards the middle of the end. He began chanting and the book glowed silver.
From above, Dyem's gauntlets were easily taking care of the many troops that attempted to get at his friends.

Larci was just getting caught up in the mass hysteria. "W-wait!" Already, they were attacking these people. Did just talking mean nothing to them? Not that that always worked but... STILL, they were being shot at and if it weren't for that wind magic Ayane cast, then they would've been swiss cheese by now. Ienzo's spell took action and all the troops froze in place along with the vehicle that held their ship. Considering this an opportunity, Nero and Zero leapt up onto the tank-like car and started trying to get the ship to move. Catching wift of what they were trying to do, Larciras joined them and was attempting to open the cockpit to activate the engines or SOMETHING. Not that she knew what she was doing anyhow...

Goofy nodded vigorously at Morya's question, "Yeah! That there's our homeworld! Why, it's not big but it's still nice."

Donald was now looking all over the dashboard for what path they'd just taken. It wasn't listed meaning Morya's world was one that was little known. "Great! Now we have a ship left back in Morya's place, no clue how to get back, and no idea where to go next. This is just lovely!"

A red light began flashing in the void. Metal and synthesized flesh began to groan with movement as the structure lifted off the ground. It's singular 'eye' looked about with hunger and was met with it's brethren's calls. Time to eat.

[Xyanea]

Ayane casted Aero on both Sora and Riku as the other trooped appeared with guns. The bullets ricocheted off the magical shields back at the GeneCops. Sora and Riku jumped into the group and started whacking them back with their keyblades.
"Ayane, Ienzo, help Larci get the ship in the air!"
"We don't know how to fly it!" Ayane replied, jumping onto the truck bed and studying the chains holding the ship down. "Ienzo, we need fire!"
Sora and Riku fought their way to the truck bed and climbed on, Ienzo right behind them. He stopped chanting, as there was no need to freeze the truck anymore. Sora and Riku both casted Stopga on the mass amounts of GeneCops before casting Aeroga on their teammates. Ienzo could feel a headache coming on, but he chanted a new fire spell anyway, a small ball of fire engulfing his free hand. He ran around the ship, melting the chains as Riku moved to help Larci into the cockpit of the ship. When all the chains were gone, Riku got inside and started the ship up.
"Sora, you want to guard the ship or should I?"
"Put it in autopilot and set up the auto-defenses! We can't afford to leave anyone in space!" Sora replied, shooting fireballs at the GeneCops who hadn't been in Stopga's range.
Ienzo, Ayane, and Sora jumped off the truck bed to fight the Genecops. Ayane recasted Aero on everyone, though she knew that was the last spell she'd be able to use without wearing herself out too much.
Riku nodded before moving inside and quickly activating the ship. When everything was set and the ship began to take off itself, he jumped out of the cockpit, a small metal box in his hand. He tucked it away into his jacket and hopped off the truck bed.
"Let's get out of here!"
"Guys, regroup!" Ienzo called.
When everyone, including Larci, Nero, and Zero, got close enough together, Ienzo started chanting. A large bubble appeared, kicking any GeneCops out of it while keeping the group inside, protected.
"Move!" Sora called, he and Riku pushing towards a different alleyway. Ayane and Ienzo followed quickly behind.

Meanwhile, at Gene Tower...

"With KEYS?!!"

Amber slammed her fist down onto the table in front of Repo Man, seething with rage as she paused the scene on the large screen behind her. She took a deep breath, straightening up and looking Repo Man dead in the eyes.

"Tell me again. How did those kids beat forty GeneCops armed with the latest weapons and armor?"

Repo sighed, and rolled his eyes, running a hand through his thick, red hair.

"They froze the truck and drivers, put up a pair of shields, and beat the rest of the guards up with keys."

Amber rubbed the bridge of her nose, barely holding back her fury. Even Luigi and Pavi, her brothers, flinched away slightly at this action; they recognized a chewing out when it was coming, having been on the recieving end of one many times. She stormed over to Repo, and locked eyes with him again imperiously.

"Please tell me you have some way of getting that ship back."

Repo smirked, and held up two small chunks of Gummi.

"Looks like Maurice was right. His little Gummi Torch worked like a charm, went straight through that stuff. This is their Nav-Gummi, and this is their Warp Gummi, according to him. They're not going anywhere without these."

Amber's eyes lightened slightly, and she snapped her fingers. The pair of male body guards dressed in bondage gear stepped forward, dropping a short, plump man with a small moustache onto the ground. He picked up his hat, and held it to his chest protectively, shaking slightly. Amber walked over and kissed him on the cheek, and he blushed, backing away.

"You did good, Maurice. I'm sure Belle will be very happy to see her father again. However, I'm afraid your ride home got away, so it may be a bit before we can re-acquire it."

The small man looked down sadly, but nodded his head and sighed. Amber patted him on the head, and picked a bag off of her desk, handing it to him. She smiled sweetly.

"There you go. That should be a fair amount of chips to keep you comfortable until it's time to go."

The man sighed again, feiging a smile, then made his way back to the elevator. Amber redirected her attention to Repo, anger rising again.

"I told you to stay with the convoy and make sure nobody grabbed the thing. Why did you disobey a direct order?"

He smirked, and rested his hands behind his head, eyes closed slightly.

"I figured your lapdogs could handle it. I didn't know Gene City's finest would get whupped by a pack of kids with keys."

Amber placed her hands on her hips, the old Largo fury coming back full force. She snarled at him through gritted teeth.

"You're my lapdog too you know. Nothing more, nothing less. Where would you be without my help, huh?"

Repo looked back at her, one eyebrow arched cooly. He knew this infuriated her, and that was exactly why he did it; better to let a fire burn out fast than smolder. She slapped him hard across the cheek, twisting his head slightly. He smirked, and she slapped him again. He started laughing, and when she went to slap him a third time, he caught her hand and rose, twisting it behind her back and slamming her face onto the desk. Pavi and Luigi jumped to their feet, and seized the twin bodyguards that were about to fire, each pressing a knife to their throats. Repo leaned in close, whispering in Amber's ear as she panted in pain. His voice came out smooth and swift, but as harsh and burning as fire.

"Listen, bitch. I don't care if you own GeneCo, Repo, the GeneCops, Zydrate or any other poorly capitalized word in this scummy world. You can yell at me all you want, but I told you to never touch my face again. This is your last warning; slap me, and I'll rip your fuckin' arm off. Got it memorized?"

Amber nodded rapidly, tears streaming down her face at the pain. Repo twisted her arm just a little bit more, and released her. She straightened up, a fiery look in her eyes, and Repo stroked her face mockingly.

"I'm gonna go see what I can do about getting that ship back. You just stay here and keep my seat warm for me, m'kay?"

Amber's past caught up with her for a moment, and the fiery look returned, desire rising in her throat. However, as she went to kiss him, Repo shoved her backwards, sending her tumbling over the desk. Repo turned his back and snapped his wrist toward the elevator. Pavi and Luigi released the guards, who promptly rushed to Amber's side, helping her up. Pavi and Luigi then followed Repo into the elevator, blowing mock kisses to Amber and cackling. Amber, somewhat disheveled looking, screeched after them.

"I'M GONNA MAKE YOU PAY REPO! JUST LIKE THE LAST ONE!"

The elevator door dinged shut, blocking out her words. Repo smiled beneath his mask.

Graverobber paused for a moment, listening; he heard gunshots, and running feet coming in their direction. However, they didn't sound like GeneCops, so he glanced up to Shilo, and grinned apologetically before popping out of the dumpster. He noticed a small group of people running through the alleyway, and he called out to them.

"Pssst! Jump into that dumpster! It's got a secret passage leading downstairs. The GC won't check in there, they never do. Move quick!"

He dropped back into the dumpster, giving Shilo a sad look and a peck on the cheek.

"Sorry babe. It looks like the GeneCops are coming instead of us. We'll wrap this up later. C'mon, let's get dressed and get downstairs."

[Tenyasyugan]

Larci tumbled off of the ship, head over heels, as Nero and Zero bound in after. The top sealed tightly shut as the craft began to slowly ascend up and out of reach. "Ow, ow, ow..." She had little time to complain, however, as Ienzo cast yet another spell that surrounded her, Ayane, Nero and Zero, Sora, Riku, and himself.

"Move!" Sora called, he and Riku pushing towards a different alleyway. Ayane and Ienzo followed quickly behind. Larciras gave a slightly agitated yelp as the protective bubble urged her onward.
"I TOLD you we should've stuck to the alleyways! Narrower is better! Ouch, my head..." Her two wolf-hounds just panted with excitement as they bound down the paths, people staring on at them from the main roads.

Lumaria gave one final slash from his blade. "WHAT WAS THAT? SOMETHING ABOUT A COFFIN?" A triangular, electrified, pyramid came flying his way. "OH! I get it! I get it!" Dashing over to what he thought was the correct exit, he barely escaped the claws of one of the Arcane beasties.

Thrusting it open, he sat on top of it for a moment. "Oh, sure, just take your time. I'll just make sure to come back for your corpse later... RUN man, RUN!" Even he could tell that this man had very little chance against any magic based foe, let alone a whole horde of superpowered ones.

Makenshi responded with a two-fingered salute, launching another pathetic spell and diving to the side, narrowly avoiding the prismatic spells shot his way. He sheathed his blade, trying to cut back on the way it was slowing him down in addition to his reflexive slaying of the heartless and nobodies around him. He couldn't handle the current Arcane Mages, let alone deal with any more that might pop up. Lumaria wouldn't be returning for any corpse, unless he chose to dig one out of the ground.

"Man... of all the places they had to send me... why'd it have to be somewhere that over-flows with long ranged heartless, nobodies, and now half-hearted?" he grumbled, tossing himself out of the line of a Sniper's fire. He grit his teeth when he realized that he'd just placed himself on the opposite end of the graveyard from the coffin. He'd have to make a mad dash. "This is why I never should have left home..."

The air cackled and a pyrimid slammed into his side, realerting him to the danger he was in with a painful zap of electricity. As soon as the sparks ended, he was running between the creatures, a new found fear bosting his speed as he dove into the bottemless coffin, tumbling into the Boneyard where things seemed calm. Staring at the small door that led back to the coffin and the graveyard, Makenshi realized that he he just might be safe for the moment, and exhausted, let his arms give out under his weight so he could rest while he had the chance.

Then he listened intently to Auron and as he finished he threw up a peace sign at Kairi, "Yosh! Sounds good Kerry" Saying the wrong name on purpose maybe? He wasn't listening, he was more focused on leaving.

Ayane saw the man pop out of the dumpster first. She thought he was naked, but she didn't really have tie to be concerned about that. She sped ahead of the group and opened the dumpster he'd indicated, her instincts telling her to trust him.
"Guys, in here!" she shouted.
Riku and Sora exchanged glances, but jumped inside anyway.They found the passage the man had indicated and ran down it, Ienzo following quickly after them.
"Dyem! C'mon, hurry up and get down here!" Ayane called up, hoping he was close enough to hear her. She didn't want to leave him by himself outside.

Shilo heard the ruckus outside, but ignored it for the most part. Her current preoccupation was prevailing in her mind. But then Graverobber stopped and gave her that "I'm sorry" smile, causing her to groan in annoyance.
"Again!? What the hell is GeneCo up to this time?!"
She grabbed her clothes at Graverobber's bidding and quickly pulled them all on. She waited for him before heading downstairs to their private underground, where the group would be waiting.

"So, do you need us to accompany you to this... ship?" he asked, replacing his knife with his trademark hand mirror. He had to make sure that his new face hadn't gotten ruined in that little scoff with Amber's guards. His sister's face that had fallen off her during the Genetic Opera two years ago was no longer favored by him, as she was worse than their father had been. GeneCo was going to hades with her in charge. So Pavi had quickly acquired a new woman's face to replace Amber's. He would not been seen wearing anything that could be taken as a sign of him supporting her.
