The call went out across the ship as it dropped out of hyperspace. The stars slid back into place and the view screen cleared revealing the single star. This was their destination, and there were ten planets to study for the Republic. The drones were sent out first, a quick examination of all the planets to determine which ones were suitable for human habitation. The drones would only take a quick cursory scan though, they weren't a replacement for a human eye.

They sent back their data quickly enough, citing 3 planets as the most suitable. Their were a few quick notes, but nothing seriously dangerous. Three landing teams were drawn up from the inhabitants on board, and a short message was sent to each one's room. "Please report to the bridge for assignment."

The captain of the ship waited patiently for his colonists to show up.

Yawning, Torl shows up in full armor and as he plays with a blaster asks, " What did you need?"

Leaning against a wall panel Tomin smirked silently to himself, flipping a coin idly while waiting for everyone else to show up. Snatching the coin out of midair he pockets it, dragging out a small rollup, lighting it deftly before checking his chrono.

“When’s this show supposed to get on the Road Cap? There’s some Ag Equipment I need to calibrate if this is gonna take awhile.”

“However long they take Engineer. You stay put.” The Captain grumbled

Flumping against the ground Tomin leans against his knee, his other hand idly playing with the settings on his goggles wrapped around his forehead.

"Come on, can't we just start without them? Or tell us first then tell them later?"

Ben glanced at his datapad as the message scrolled across. "Damn, I really have better things to do on this ship than be sent on some stupid mission." Setting the pad aside he headed to the lift, annoyed at having to leave his work behind. The equipment would not fix itself, but apparently Captain Rogers thought it did.

Ben checked his uniform on the way up, brushing off the dust but not able to do much for the small burns and marks from use. The lift was a straight shot to the bridge, and it wasn't long before he was up top, standing next to the other two who had already arrived. "Captain?"

"We're waiting for the other members of your teams. So be patient," Rogers snapped. He turned to the lieutenant next to him and whispered, "These people have no respect for the command structure."

Jason walked down the hall after hearing the message. "This better be good" Jason thought. As he approached the bridge he saw a man leaning against the wall flipping a coin. The man said something to the captain but slumped back against the wall. Jason approached, looked at the captain "what? This better be worth my time" Jason grumbled because his sleep was disrupted.

"You'd think you'd have a bit more respect for the man who's helping you find a new home, Valbrend." Rogers said. "Now, we're only waiting for two more members of the first team and then I can give you your orders."

Ben watched all of this with a bored eye. He would rather be down in the bay, repairing some of the machinery and improving it. But then again, this was what he was here for. He was going to build a new home on a new planet. He smiled to himself and calmly stood among the others while he examined his team members. The Bothan looking interesting. He'd seen him around the bay doing work, but didn't know him personally. While the other two, the ones who seemed most anxious to go planetside where complete strangers to him.

"Hey," Ben said in Basic, waving a quick hello at man in full armor.

Torl, feeling he was being watched, turned slowly in the direction of the man greeting him. Staring as if watching his soul, he grimly said, "Hey." He turned back to rogers,and smirking underneath his helmet, said,"Your first name wouldnt happen to be buck, would it?" He turned back to the man before Rogers could respond " You know when the rest will arrive?"

Rogers frowned, "Actually, it's Gordon."

Ben smiled at the armored man, "Not really. Do I know you, by the way?" The man's thousand yard stare wasn't much use on him. Ben had been indicted in the trial against his former employers, and they'd put him through worse trials than a goofy stare. "I think standards say we need between between six and ten people for a landing party, though." Ben reached into one of his pockets and got out a rather thick book. He flipped through quickly before stopping on a page near the middle. "Yep, six to ten, right here."

The lift moved and he glanced over, wondering who was coming up.

" I don't believe so." He slowly pulls off his helmet, revealing his face to everyone as he turned to Rogers."Well, i'm going to the cargo hold to look for a drink-" He stopped in mid-sentence upon seeing Roger glaring at him,"- I mean, look for some extra blankets. Yep." He said, as he slowly backed towards the lift, only to see it move."Grrrrrr..." He mumbled as he slowly walked back to where he was.

[Reckless Brawler]

The Hunter was sitting in the cargo hold of The Republic Dawn; he had been there since the start of the trip going over all his equipment and then meticulously cleaned all his guns. Like any Bounty Hunter worth his weight, The Hunter knew that gun care could mean the difference between life and death. The Hunter then pulled up on his visor The Bounty notice, and the reason he was on this ship in the first place. The Bounty for 50,000 credits was placed on three criminals together they killed a senator in a bar fight in Nar Shadaa. The Three criminals were named Rea a human woman, Squin a Twi’lek, and Kaleb a Mandalorian. Of the three Kaleb would prove to be the hardest Mandalorians never went down without a fight but the hunter was ready.

After a few credits were given to the right people, the hunter found out that the criminals were planning on hitching a ride on the Republic Dawn. The hunter tried to track the criminals before more blood was spilt but he was unable to stop them before they killed members of the crew. However, The Hunter was able cover up the murders so only he knew where the criminals were now. So all in all it wasn’t so bad. The Hunter did not know however, the names of those dead or what their position was on the ship so he would have to do a little bit of searching but it wouldn’t be so bad.

The hunter stood up holstering his weapons he was now ready, the hunt was on.
