The Commission S2: Orden der Nocts [ A Kingdom Hearts/Minor TWEWY Roleplay ]

[Crimson]

A book with pitch-black covers flew across the white room, smashing against the opposite wall with a bang. It was followed by another, which had a forest-green piece of thick paper protecting it's contents. As it hit the pure white door, the old strings keeping the pages attached broke, papers full of text scattering all around the floor. In a matter of seconds they turned to ashes, as a furious female Nobody set them on fire.
"Why?!" she yelled into the emptiness, her voice filling every corner of her room. "Why, damn it, why?!!"
All the books in her silvery shelf were swiped off by her arm, falling onto the ground, pages fluttering.
"I could have done something!" she kept on screaming, particulary to no-one, trying to burn her anger out, "I could have finished them before it all happened... I could have... protected him!"
The poor books were crushed by the shelf falling on top of them. Xenjin walked around in fury, kicking piles of paper out of her way. If it was under her decision, she would have already gone to The World That Never Was to save Saïx, who was most likely being interrogated in a way that was nowhere near gentle. But no, everyone had said that they should stay in the headquarters for now, to recover from the previous battle.

Xenjin gritted her teeth at the thought. Her injuries had been so minor, that she felt ashamed. She had done nothing, absolutely nothing - just made a swing towards someone every now and then, not even knowing if it had been an enemy or not. Still, she had been just in time to see the Luna Diviner being dragged away...
Number VI closed her chocolate-brown eyes for a brief moment, pondering at every possible solution she had. Only one came to her mind; she would have to go by herself and save the Commission leader before it would be too late. The red-head had never followed orders that much anyway.

Taking a final quick glance at her chaotic room, Xenjin sighed deeply and extended her arm, a portal of swirling darkness materializing in front of her. She stepped inside, feeling the familiar coldness on her skin as her body sank into nothingness.
Seconds later her feet met the hard floor of the dungeon. She had chosen her destination well - if Saïx was being tortured, it would be done in this specific part of the castle, so had she thought. As the red-head stepped out, she opened her palms, her blades Azomin and Nimoza appearing with a flash of golden light.
Her deep brown eyes, now flashing with a slight hint of red, were aimed at the few Reapers present.

"Now, which one of you bastards would like to be the first to die?" she said coldly, gloved hands clutching the handles of the weapons tightly, "That is, of course, after you have told me where the leader of the Commission is."

[Raiton Kensei]

Jeaxd walked from a dark portal. She opened the book.

"I need to find the three keyblades, but what use will it be if I cant wield them. This old musty book has to have a page where it talks about possessing a keyblade."

She closed the book a kept walking. She passed a sign that said Radiant Garden. She stopped and looked at it.

"Why am I back here? I must have opened the portal wrong this isnt where I wanted to go."

Jeaxd began to open a portal. Suddenly a weird sound could be heard. Jeaxd looked around to see that she was surrounded by heartless.

"Neoshadow heartless! This should be fun."

The Neoshadows closed in on Jeaxd.

The usual stillness of the night air was shattered by the hoarse, agonized cries of the mortally wounded, echoing into the nothingness with none but deaf ears to land upon. They wept uncontrollably, and shrieked wordlessly into the emptiness at the stark injustice of their fates: To perish horribly alone upon a bloodstained stretcher, their bodies putrid and soiled from soaking in their own blood and excretement; it was not the death of a soldier, but the wretched death of a coward, and on that night, it was suffered by hundreds upon hundreds of Warhawk soldiers, each one adding another agonized cry to the ghastly chorus. Each one was led to their wretched demise by the ambitions of a single man. He killed them all. Lucipher... It was a pale whisper, creating no more sound than the single breath of a newborn child, but its intended recipient would be able to hear it as clearly as the toll of a bell. You killed them all....You knew what awaited them, and still you urged them forward...And you killed them......It seems to be a...talent of yours.... The threadbare remains of brocaded ivy reflected dully in the sparse moonlight, exposing a tall figure of ivory, its features obscured by wafting tendrils of choking black smoke. It remained where it stood before the silver-haired Nobody, unmoving, yet unrelenting in its silent malice; it was a silent monolith of guilt, an unspeaking witness to Lucipher's own atrocities. ...You did this.....

A heartbeat's passing moment, and the figure had all but vanished.

The cold stab of winter's bite assaulted Illienya relentlessly from the small obsidian balcony, slashing through her pathetically thin layer of protection against the harsh snowy weather of this desolate world. The emptiness of the dark stronghold's surroundings splayed out in a panoramic view before the seemingly young woman, a desolate flat plain of painfully bright snow and barren icy ground. An echo of my own life, she thought grimly. The smarting wounds of Dauroth's sudden death were still painfully fresh for Illienya, yet that was not what weighed her heart so heavily; since the passing of her lord, the distorted lens through which she viewed herself had been broken, and she was able to see the awful truth as clearly as the bright snow. For decades, very nearly a century, she had spent every fiber of her being towards Dauroth, secretly pouring out bucketloads of affection towards him without ever desiring or expecting any love in return. Looking back on those long years now filled her with self-loathing and disgust, both for what she was then and what she had become. How...? How could I have degraded myself so? Am I truly that weak within that I need a constant crutch for my heart? Wh- Her train of thought came to an abrupt halt as the light crunching of trodden snow alerted her to another presence.

Spinning about, she found herself looking down upon none other than the sewer rat himself, Norikin Rauth. As usual, the man trapped in a dimunitive child's body was tightly clutching a fat armful of documents, each no doubt carrying some vital significance to the Children of the Dusk, which he would droningly explain for hours upon end in his girlish soprano. Before she could open her mouth to speak, he abruptly cut in in his usual condescending tone, "Sister Illienya, what bids you to stand about slothfully in this wretched weather? It is not becoming bechavior for a member of the Manatrum Circle, nor for any Child of the Dusk, for that matter. Soon, we will be called to gather before Lord Belphaezor to debate our future course of action; it is not a meeting to be missed. Besides," he added with a mocking smirk and an extra dosage of jeering in his tone, "You could catch pneumonia standing out here." Illienya took a small step forward, and scowled back in defense. "You've no authority over me, errand-boy; I am both a grown woman and your equal in authoritative position." Within, Illienya winced at how empty and childish she sounded; perhaps it was because she knew how much of a lie it was. Despite his round, cherubic face and tousled blonde hair, Norikin was by far the more adult of the two of them. Outside, she was a powerful woman whose command would not be questioned, yet within, she was merely a frightened little girl, too afraid to do anything but crawl away and hide under the cover of the shadows.

Undeterred by Illienya's half-hearted retaliation, Norikin continued to prod further, for what Illienya percieved to be no reason more than the sadistic enjoyment of watching her cringe under the truth. His hurried, businesslike manner made his initially sympathetic words only more false-sounding. "I realize that the loss of our late founder Lord Dauroth has left you at a loss, as it is well-known of your...fondness for the man, but as the Manatrum Circle, we must now work under Lord Belphaezor. Dauroth is no more; it is a reality that you must accept as all others have. Lord Belphaezor shall more than provide for us." Illienya replied softly, not even realizing that her thoughts had materialized into words, "Belphaezor is...a comrade, and I trust his leadership....but he is not Dauroth, and without Dauroth, this group is meaningless...."

Norikin was sorely tempted to rebuke the sniveling ingrate for her treasonous words, but he had already fritted away far more of his precious time than he had intended listening to the jaded woman; there were tasks yet to be completed, matters that far preceeded emotional therapy for idiots. With a breathy sigh, sounding particularly odd for somebody of his body's years, he continued on his way to the council chamber, where the gathering would be held. But as he stalked away from the balcony, he paused, and added, just loud enough to be audible to Illienya, "Perhaps Dauroth is closer than one would think...." He allowed the vague comment to lay still in the air for a moment or two, and then promptly continued on his way down the hall, his small footpads echoing through the chamber at his usual hurried speed. Allow her to ponder that for a while; after all, Dauroth's little whore deserves a small token of solace before her tragic death. He grinned wickedly. So unfortunate that young women these days are all committing suicide at such a record high...Heeheeheehehe.....

[Azrael]

"This place is gigantic, who would want something this big?" Solex asked himself. Solex continues his walk and comes across a man.

"Who else do you think would desire a magnificent castle as the headquarters from which he shall manage his empire of nothingnesss but me? A grand leader with grand aspirations needs a place such as this to conduct his operations againist his foes but I am only giving you my opinion." Ramaxuli answered as he walked down the staircase and saw the intruder advance slowly towards him on the first floor. That power...what is it? He couldn't be able to tear down those doors yet they are in pieces. The power to dissolve material. The power of acids, should such a power grace my Orden der Nocts? "Fantastic entrance for an individual such as yourself. Welcome to the Castle That Never Was, what is your business here?"

"You, you're the one that is to welcome me into the order; what is your name?" Solex felt a slight urge to bow, but resisted, thinking that he still doesn't know this man, meaning he still doesn't have respect for him.

"There are many titles that had been bestowed upon me, mostly by myself in the moments after I robbed the very seat of power from where the Organization, Rose Order and Commission had once ruled their vast dominion from and now where I rule. You may call me anything regarding the department of such titles although my name is quite simple in contrast to the list of the titles I had mentioned. Know me simply as Ramaxuli, the Shinigami of Death, hochmeister of Orden der Nocts and supreme high king of all this." He was not afraid to boast his supremacy to this nobody, his name was currently unknown although it would be a matter of time until he can extract that vital information from him. The brunet male found it odd that unlike the others, he didn't even think of bowing down to him although he felt from the man's soul that he had a urge to do so. Ramaxuli ended the brief silence and spoke again. "Now that we are in the stage of introductions and I had given you my name, what is your name?"

[The Future]

It was dark, cold, and felt like.... death. Where am I....? thought the teenager standing in the darkness. He was tall, red-headed and wore a long red robe. Sweat was pouring down his face and he was nervous, or fearing something..... something that could jump out at him at any second. The teenager summond his Keyblade and looked all around the pitch black area, he started to run, there was endless darkness making the teenager think he was running in circles after a while, he fell to his knees and looked up to what should've been the sky and yelled, "What's going on!?". Tears fell down his cheeks. "Dana?" asked a female voice from the darkness. "Sephira?" replied Dana. "Yes..." replied Sephira. "Sephira.... where are we, where's Aaron?" asked Dana who was now standing up. "I have no idea where we are, I don't know where Aaron is either, I haven't seen him since we left the World That Never Was..." replied Sephira as she walked out of the darkness so she could become visible to Dana, she was bleeding from the mouth and he shirt was torn revealing a part of her stomach. "What happened?" asked Dana. "I don't know, I woke up and I was like this" she replied touching her mouth. "C'mon, we need to find Aaron!" announced Dana as he started to run, trying to look for his friend.

Sephira ran after Dana, then she fell, disappearing from what little sight Dana had. "Sephira!!!" he yelled. He ran to the spot Sephira fell at, he crawled along the floor that Sephira fell at, trying to find a body, but nothing was there, then Dana fell, lights turned on all around him, he was going down what looked to be a slide. Dana flew out of the slide and was knocked unconscious, but before he did, he saw the outlines of his friends, Sephira and Aaron.

Dana woke up in a bed in a room he had never seen before, it was dark, but cozy. He sat up, his head hurting and his legs cramping. What happened? he thought. He layed back down, Dana looked at the ceiling wondering where Aaron and Sephira were, then he got his answer, his friends bursted through the rooms door and went to Dana's bed-side. Sephira shook Dana repediately. "Stop!" demanded Dana. "What's going on?" he asked. "Dana! Lucipher's here!" announced Sephira. "Lucipher's here?" he repeated. "Yeah, he is, come on, let's go talk to him!" said Sephira. Dana hopped out of the bed like nothing was wrong with him, he bursted through the hallways until he spotted Aaron's uncle Lucipher. "Lucipher! It's me Dana! It's so nice to see you!" said Dana as he now walked to the man he had fought with for a few months.

[Endless Warrior Sora]

Xadnte appeared in the Castle that Never Was, astounded at how he had just attacked this place sometime before. He found it peculiar how quickly things could change. Now the head of it was his master Ramaxuli, who saved him from certain doom just before attacking the castle. Xadnte cursed his uselessness during the battle, though it was a good learning experience for him. He now loathed Somebodies, who always seemed to use thier blessings in the wrong ways. It angered him that they even had the audacity to bring someone like him into the world. Taking a stroll down a hallway he guessed he would have to see what Ramaxuli would want, and stand by for orders.

The purple eyes shifted around the area. The unfamiliar area. She had no idea where she was. Somehow she stumbled upon this town. She's only been here for a couple of days, and yet everything is still fuzzy. She didn't even know if her own name was actually hers. She repeated it over and over in her head, attempting to make it sound familiar. To make it sound like a name she's had for her whole life, not just some hours. The chronic name repeating didn't work. Everything seemed so new. And she didn't like it one bit. What was she doing before this? So many questions came to mind. And there was one that bothered her the most. Where did those abilities come from? She held out her hand and stared at her palm for a while. Then a fireball materialized, floating around her wrist. She had to find someone, something. She needed answers.

The headphones completely immersed the boy in sound. The sweet sound as he inwardly bobbed his head to the music of the mp3 player. He was laying down on his back, in some unknown town. He looked to the sky, thinking that was where he once was before. It took a slow but sure hit that now, he was really alone. He remembered it all very easily. The black creatures, the grey ones. The sword...and the huge balll in the sky. All leading up to his failure. His hands curled up in to fists. Fists that would do nothing for him. Unwanted fists. He pounded at the ground, unsatisfied with himself. He closed his eyes and let the music calm him.

"I gotta find someone. I need help." He whispered to himself. He didn't like fighting. In fact, he didn't like it so much that he simple didn't. And let everyone disappear. What in th world was he thinking? Apparently not about his own.

[Watson]

With a flutter of his cloak, the Shadow of Despair hopped off of the wall overlooking the entrance to the newly rejuvenated Radiant Garden. It seemed the central computer had survived the destruction, and recovered valuable files, thus leading to the remembrance of the name by those who had lived here before. The survivors had begun to rebuild, but had made very little progress. The heartless swarmed to this world.

"I see you have something there, Jeaxd."

He muttered from beneath his hood as his feet touched the ground. The Neoshadows stopped moving as he swung a hand to the side.

"Would you mind if I had a look?" He asked, Kingdom Key appearing in his hand. "I could not help overhearing your need of a Keyblade, and I will be happy to assist you with it. You wish to be whole, correct? Then help an old pal out. And if you happen to wonder how I found you, and your intentions, remember this. Although I am not there, I am not necessarily without sight of it." His shadow twitched slightly, before pulling itself off the ground and forming what looked like a grotesquely disfigured, completely black copy of him. The shadow receded into the ground at that point, now looking like a two-dimensional grotesquely disfigured, completely black copy of him. In other words, an ordinary shadow.

"Now then V, mind giving an old pal a new piece of reading material?" He asked. "Because, ol' man Nelly here isn't sure if what you're doing is the best idea you've ever had." He pointed the blade of Kingdom Key down, so that it now faced the ground, and stuck the tip into the dirt that this road now consisted of.

(OOC: Meh. Yeah, pales in comparison to everyone else's, but whatever. Mirosius' entrance will undoubtedly be much more... readable.)

[Crimson]

It was time for another try.
Axel felt, how conciousness came closer. Eager to wake up after days and days of utter blackness, he started to reach for the escape from his coma with his mind.
He was almost there, just a few more seconds of deep concentration... He could already see the light of the room he was in from behind his eyelids.
Suddenly a voice reached the red-head's ears. It was extremely distant - he catched only a part of it. Still, it was easy to notice that the sentence was shouted desperately.

"A...L! N......O....O...o...o!"

That yell gave Axel more strength; he concentrated as much as he could, and then... he felt pain.
He wasn't fully concious yet, he knew it. But the stinging pain all around his body was so immense, that he had to be close to waking up. The black mist surrounding him started to turn lighter, being now more like a shade of grey. His thoughts came flying back into his mind, all of them at the same time. This caused his head to ache on top of all the other pain he had to suffer from. After a moment of pondering (which was surprisingly hard after a long time of unconciousness) Axel came to the conclusion that he was simply asleep. Suddenly faint pictures started to fill his eyes, proving his theory right. Smiling inwardly, the red-head began to observe those images while waiting for the time when he could wake up completely.

[Azrael]

"Who the hell has a ship parked in a clearing that doesn't even work? I'll find the crew who pilots the damn ship and have them thrown into the dungeons, I swear to God." Lucipher muttered under his breath as he entered one of the many hospitals built within the military installation. He had failed in his endeavor to use the ship parked in the clearing to head back to the World That Never Was were the battle, although not as intense as it had been just a few hours ago moments prior to the release of the bombs on the city, was still going on as what remnants of the Warhawk armies he once led were being driven back by nobodies."I need to get there and stop more of my soldiers from being killed by whoever's still there although I need a ship if I want a chance of getting out of that wasteland alive." LucipherIs it wrong if I leave them there to fend for themselves while I heal my own wounds?

"Lucipher! It's me Dana! It's so nice to see you!" said Dana as he now walked to the man he had fought with for a few months.

"Oh?" Lucipher heard the voice and immediately recognized it. Oh yes, it's those companions of my nephew...err cousin...family member Aaron the Younger! I wonder what they need. thought the Warhawk commander and then cleared his throat, speaking. "Hello Dana and Sephira, I see that the battle has had tooken its toll upon you two keybearers. How goes everything?"

[MelodiousNymph]

The streets of Traverse Town were crowded, just as they'd always been. Eleanor sighed and playfully kicked up her legs from the bench she was seated in, something to show that she was impatient and incredibly bored. Riku had told her and some other Comission members to meet at the Square, so why hadn't any one of them shown up yet? A strand of her long black hair went into the ex-trapeze artist's face and she blew it away, only to have it fall into her face again. She blew it and blew it, but it just came back. Finally, she gave a sharp exasperated sigh and tucked her haier back behind her ears like a normal person would. See? A lot better.

With nothing to blow at and nothing to do, Eleanor reached from below the bench, pulled up a long, multi-colored bat and studied it. A wave of sadness and nostalgia came over the sixteen-year-old as she remembered the bat's previous owner, her best friend-slash-clown extraordinaire Rita. Until now, she still hadn't found her, and was starting to get very worried indeed. Where could have Rita gone, anyways? She's older than me by thirteen years, and a lot wiser, so she must've found some way to get somewhere safe. But why haven't I found her yet? And why hasn't she found me? Another feeling that tore through Eleanor's heart was guilt. She knew Rita didn't like fighting much, and yet, here she was, using her own best friend's clown act prop as a weapon! That thought made Eleanor wonder if Rita would've hated her for that. Gee, I hope not.

This then made Eleanor think about her life in general. Ever since the Big Top was attacked by those Commission jerks, she'd been living in Traverse Town with no knowlege about the whereabouts of her fellow circus performers. Shortly after, she was taken in by the Restoration Committee, which she had joined in order to save her world and see if all her good friends were still alive. (It wasn't just Rita she was worried about. There was also her parents, Louisa, Ringo the Amazing, Tangram Joe, Arlene, Marcello, Mrs. Libbett, Mr. Kite, Helena, the Roscoe brothers, the elephants, the lions, the monkeys . . .) But now, the Committee was less than organized, and that pretty much left Eleanor either wandering around Traverse Town or tagging along with Riku just to frickin' do something. And now, here she was, waiting for him and some others, and they weren't there at all! Sometimes, Eleanor wondered if it would've been better if she just wandered around instead of deciding to join them.

"Ah well,"she sighed to herself, fixing her favorite strawberry-inspired sweater. "At least I get to save my world in some way or another. Ooh, I just remembered!" Cheerfully, the girl reached into a little bag she brought along and pulled out a small book, 1001 Jokes For All Occasions! printed on its front. "I'm not done reading this yet!" So the circus-girl flipped to where she had left off, joyfully read it, and laughed out loud whenever she read a funny one, not caring at all if people were staring at her weirdly or not.

Somewhere in a small orphanage building in Traverse Town, a little girl sat sulkily by a large, dingy window, her head in her hand, watching the busy townsfolk outside. She was wearing a blue dress with a white apron, white tights and a pair of black school shoes, which complemented well her long yellow hair (which was held in place by a black ribbon) and blue eyes. The perpetually saddened and bored expression on her face revealed what she really was feeling - sad and bored. It had been many days since her homeworld and Wonderland was attacked, and now the little girl had nowhere else to go but here. So many people were preoccupied with their problems that they didn't care much for her, and really, she couldn't blame them. With all the chaos going around, it was well expected.

The door across the room creaked open, and a timid woman in a nurse's outfit poked her head in. "Alice?" she kindly called, making the girl turn round and face her. "Come along downstairs now, it's time for lunch." The excited chattering of other children outside proved this. So with a sigh and an obedient nod, Alice jumped off her chair and followed the lady to the dining hall, wondering if life will ever be the same again.

[Raiton Kensei]

I cant see. It's too dark. Where am I? What is...this feeling? Am I falling? Am I dead? I'm scared! I need to get out of here.

A flash of light brightened in the distance.

Light!? I have to go to it.

As he floated closer to the light he could hear noises.

"Neoshadow heartless! This should be fun."

What? A voice. A female voice. Hey, help me. Whoever you are help me.

The other voice didnt reply.

"That was too easy.....huh I wonder who this is?"

Hey, dont you hear me? Help! Help! Help!

He got closer to the light. The closer he got the more he could hear. The more he could see. And the more tired and dizzy he became.

What is this?

His body entered the light.

The heartless attacked. Jeaxd jumped in the air to avoid it. She landed behind the heartless. She created illusions of herself that surrounded the heartless. The heartless began to attack the illusion only to fooled that none were the real Jeaxd. The real Jeaxd ran through the hord of Neoshadows destroying them one by one with her fists. She looked around to see no more heartless.

"That was too easy."

She began to walk away then she noticed a dark portal open to the left of her. She looked annoyed. She didnt want anyone to come mess up her plans. After all she did have always leave without telling where she was going.

"Huh, I wonder who this is?"

She walked towards the portal, getting ready to fight whoever came through it. The portal widened. A body came through. It was no one that she seen before.

Jeaxd walked up to the body. It was a boy. About 15 or 16. He had long brown hair and he was naked.

"He's naked!"

He must have just been born. she thought.

"It's not right for someone to just lay here naked."

She picked up the unconcious boy. and started walking towards town.

[The Future]

"Hello Dana and Sephira, I see that the battle has had tooken its toll upon you two keybearers. How goes everything?"
"Yes it has," said Dana as he wiped the happy look off of his face and became serious and then he continued "We're great, we're ready to fight alongside you and the other Warhawks like we did before". Sephira looked at Dana, she didn't know why he wouldn't let her talk for herself, with the "We're ready" and "We're great". But she got over it in a second. "Lucipher, if I may ask, do you have any mission's for the three of us to go on?" asked Sephira. Dana was about to say something to Sephira because he wasn't ready and wasn't in condition to fight yet, but he was interrupted when Aaron came running up behind them. "Did I miss anything?" asked Aaron who was breathing heavily.

[Azrael]

"Yes it has," said Dana as he wiped the happy look off of his face and became serious and then he continued "We're great, we're ready to fight alongside you and the other Warhawks like we did before". Sephira looked at Dana, she didn't know why he wouldn't let her talk for herself, with the "We're ready" and "We're great". But she got over it in a second.

"You and me both, Dana but I have to honor the opinions of the vast majority of my army who had just returned from that campaign back at the World That Never Was." said Lucipher, placing his arms behind his head as he rested againist the white wall.

"Lucipher, if I may ask, do you have any mission's for the three of us to go on?" asked Sephira.

"I'm not aware of any assignments available for the three of you to partake at the moment although I'll see what I can find at the moment. Even at that, I can't promise you much considering that much of the attention has been shifted to dealing with the wounded and dead, Sephira and Dana." Lucipher responded, amused at the eagerness for the two teenage key bearers to jump back into the action just after the end of what had been a costly battle for the Warhawk organization. If only the rest of my army shared this characteristic so that we must fight again but they are only human.
