| whatever... | ![]() Plot: 57 years have passed since the Battle at Hogwarts where Lord Voldemort was killed and peace was brought to the Magical World and the Muggle World, or at least everyone thought.... Harry Potter as become the new head master at Hogwarts with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as his assistants. Everything has been going great at Hogwarts now that Harry has taken over, more kids are coming and coming to the school of ages 9-19. It's a lot more than what Harry thought it would be. Even though 57 years have passed since the Battle at Hogwarts, some of the professors have stayed, including Harry, Ron and Hermione's best friend, Hagrid. But now, a dark group named The Tarsoli have formed, they are pretty much like the Death Eaters, they worship Lord Voldemort, even though the Dark Lord is dead. Since they worship Voldemort you probably already know what their goal is: kill Harry Potter. Now they just need a way to get pass dark magic blocking spell around Hogwarts because Harry Potter isn't leaving the school. But it won't be as simple as the Death Eaters got in Hogwarts in Harry's 6th year, they don't have someone on the inside. _______________________________ (OOC-Alright, I will start this thing) Harry looked out the window in the back of his office at Hogwarts, he thought of all the times he had been in that office to visit Albus Dumbledore, who, in Harry's mind was the greatest man in the whole world..... then he started to think of the day he died, tears started to appear in the eyes of The Boy Who Lived. He grabbed a tissue out of his pants' right pocket and wiped the tears. Harry turned around and then headed over to his desk and threw the tissue in the trash laying on the right side of the wooden desk, he looked up at the portraits and then sat down, grabbed a quil and a piece of paper and started to write his next entry into his journal. September 7, 2055 Tomorrow, will be the start of school here at Hogwarts, I am very excited, maybe the most excited I have felt for a school year since I became Head Master..... but for some reason, my scar has been burning lately, it hasn't burned since Voldemort was destroyed, I have a pain in my stomach and I keep thinking of a return of Voldemort, but I also think that it is not possible for him to return, I saw his dead body on the floor after our battle 57 years ago, but, the part that really gets me concered is that there have been killings reported all over the Wizarding World. But nonetheless I am very excited and can't wait to see all of the new faces around here; I wonder if I should contact my son Albus to see if he wants to teach here, he probably doesn't want to talk to me though, for some unexplained reason for the past ten years he won't speak to me..... Harry grabbed the piece of paper and put it in a box that was overflowed with other pieces of paper, Harry looked at the box and thought: I need to really make these smaller to fit them in this box, but I don't have the time to do it now, I have to find Ginny and see how everything is going for tomorrow night..... | Rank 1 | Diagon Alley; a place of wonder and magic. A twisting panoply of magical hoots and playful witchcraft. From Gringotts wizarding bank to Ollivander's Fine Wands, the wizarding alley was alive with activity today. New students coming in to grab their textbooks, older ones coming to hang out and purchase new ingredients, and a few teachers even, excitedly making their way around as everyone geared up for the new school year at Hogwarts. Everyone except a certain fellow of course. Leaning against a large glass window, his back turned against the enchanted glass, Red Freid watched those passing by with a whistle and a smile. A wordless tune escaped his lips, his dark brown hair blowing very slightly in the wind as he whistled, his trademark red streak gleaming in the light as he tapped his foot absentmindedly to the beat. His brown eyes sparkled lightly, like melted chocolate, swirling in a deep, bubbling cauldron. Every now and then he'd nod pleasantly to a passerby, or send a teasing wink to a group of girls laughing by; and while sometimes he'd get a rude look, a playful laugh, or pleasant smile, he kept on going, whistling his way through the day, his carefree tune distracting from his truer, devious intentions. His back, pressed against the large storefront window, hid his manipulative hands. Grasping his long, thin black wand, in his right hand, he easily pressed it back against the window, closing his eyes for a second as he felt the enchantment of the glass soaking through him... He grinned as his long wizarding robes covered his exploits, and he starting whistling again; any passerby might think that he was simply resting and enjoying the sun. Unbreakable charm... a self-cleaning spell... and a slight hint of magical window shine... Clever; looks clean from the outside, but sturdier than a castle wall. Let's see what we can do about that, shall we? He opened his eyes, leaning back slightly to allow himself more room beneath his robes. Hidden underneath the black cloth, his wand waved back and forth, swirling in a circular pattern around a single patch of the glass as he concentrated hard, even though his face retained the same look of peace and mischievous serenity. He whistled a high note as he felt something jolt up his hand; a signal that he was getting somewhere. Alright, found the charm... Now all I gotta do is unlo- Another slight electric jolt, and Red grinned again as a series of blue sparks erupted from the end of his wand, a glowing circle of blue light, about a foot in length, was hidden behind his back. He had temporarily disarmed the Unbreakable charm, opening a slight hole in its protection directly behind him. He cracked his neck casually, loosening up his shoulders as he smiled at an elderly witch walking past him. He easily took up his wand again, pointing the end at the now unprotected glass and pushing the end sharply against the edge of the blue circle of light. He whispered a few words under his breath, disguising them as another upbeat whistle, and the end of his wand glowed a bright yellow, sparks flying underneath his robe as he moved his wand in a slow circle, the fiery end cutting through the glass in a perfect circle. He disguised the slight buzzing noise in another loud whistle, letting a variety of pleasant tunes escape from his lips as the wand made its full circle around. Brilliant. Red's eyes sparkled as he slowly placed left hand to the glass he had cut, rotating it slowly as he pulled the glass circle from the formerly protected window. He grinned a roguish smile, giving a casual wink to a cute girl that walked by, laughing at her blushing face as he carefully balanced his wand between his two pointer fingers. "Accio," he muttered underneath his breath, the words barely escaping his lips as he felt the object behind him zoom from the shop and land solidly in his right hand. With a careful breath, he withdrew his hand, easily slipping it into his robe pocket, and replacing the circle of glass with the other. With a quiet breath out, he whispered, "Reparo," and the glass circle fixed itself, the blue light vanishing as easily as it had come. Red let a triumphant grin escape his face, and casually, slipping back into blankness, he walked into the crowds of Diagon Alley; the only evidence of his exploit being the heavy object now resting in the pocket of his robes. This was going to be a very good year. He could already tell... |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Vega Wallice walked around Diagon Alley, anxious for the next day and excited for the Start of Term feast. She was hanging around outside Quality Quidditch Supplies, thinking about buying a new broom for Quidditch tryouts. The Alley was still kind of busy, students doing last minute shopping, parents trying to make the most of the time before the kids got on the train tomorrow. Vega had only been to Diagon Alley once with her family and since then had been forced to come alone. She hadn't seen her brother in awhile, he should be starting Hogwarts sooner or later and she was sure that their grandmother would be kicking him as soon as she saw that letter. The girl reached into the pocket of her robe and shook her money bag, hearing the jingle of several galleons and sickles. All her books were bought, her potions equipment and other such necessities so she saw no reason that she couldn't buy a new broom. Vega would just have to stop at Gringotts before tomorrow, that way she'd have enough money during Hogsmeade weekends. Stepping inside the shop, she glanced around at the many brooms on display and her eyes were drawn to the newest broom in the Firebolt series. They were very costly, to expensive for her tastes so she looked into a few other brooms. Several were anchored, making them to dangerous to fly with since a sharp turn on one could throw you off and you'd plummet to your death. After awhile, she settled on the Nimbus 5000 and headed to her room at the Leaky Cauldron to relax awhile. Vega began unpacking and repacking her trunk, getting stir crazy already. She had hidden a few things amongst her robes and long jackets, things that no one but herself had ever seen and ever would see if things kept as they had for the past several years. As she folder up her last trench coat for what seemed like the hundredth time, she sighed and glanced around the room. Vega had been staying there for a couple weeks at this point and had gotten comfortable here but Hogwarts would be a welcome change at least. |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() Currently playing: Final Fantasy X (yes, late gamer here) Level: 40 EXP: | Charlotte and her mother walked along the long narrow streets of Diagon Alley as the buildings in front of them stood out tall and proud as if it were waiting for visitors to visit them. She couldn't believe it. She was here. Here in Diagon Alley again to buy her school supplies such as books and new cauldrons and such. She couldn't wait to visit Hogwarts again considering the lessons were beginning and that meant Potions and also trying out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team as the Chaser or Seeker. She couldn't wait to go back. Not only that but she'd start her fourth year and it was another year before her O.W.L.S examination would start. It was then they slowed down as they were waiting for several group of witches and wizards to pass by. She saw as they did in the Eeylops Owl Emporium there were several cages of different shapes and sizes and colors of owls that were hooting or moving in their cages that were displayed neatly outside and in the store. As she looked, she saw a small and tawny looking black owl. Her eyes widened at this idea. Her mom said since her rat, Totey who was very old had died. She was saddened but managed to overcome this but never will forget Totey, for he was once cute and loving and yet gentle rat. "Can I have an owl?" She asked as the owl stared at her with it's yellow widened eyes as if to examine her. Her mother smiled. "Maybe later since we can't buy anything remember? We have to go to Gringotts. You'll have to get money to pay for your textbooks and books at Flourish and Blotts." Flourish and Blotts! She couldn't wait! It was one of Charlotte's favorite store since she loved looking at the books there and she loved books as she liked reading in general. Walking with her mother towards Gringotts, she saw other parents and students walking by and though she saw a blonde hair boy winking at her as he headed towards Quidditch Quality Shoppe and she turned away, blushing and trying not to smile. He was definately cute but not as cute as the ghost who had helped her at Hogwarts. The one with the friendly smile and the one who always joked and the one who had helped her get to her classes during her first year when she was lost. It was then her mom's voice distracted her. "Now remember, be polite to the Goblins." She realized they had reached Gringotts, the marbled, white looking building without being aware of it. Maybe because she was too busy thinking about the ghost she met. "I know mother." She said. Sometimes her mother treated her like a little child who didn't know how to behave or do things. Of course her mother gave her look and sighing, "I mean, fine mother." She corrected herself. Great a place full of goblin who would be handling her money. She was definately not looking forward to encountering them again ever since they glared at her when they entered her second year but had to be nice and polite about it. She trailed after her mother, trying to make sure she was at her best manner. Last edited by Danica Syer; August 5th, 2009 at 12:37 AM. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Vergil was passing through the streets of Diagon Alley, as he did every year before going to Hogwarts. He sighed as he remembered the fact that this was his last year. He'd graduate and then... "Argh, who knows?" growled Vergil quietly. Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of someone yelling... "HEY! YOU! Get your arse back to the shithole of the Muggle world you came from... filthy mudblood." shouted the boy as he punched another kid. "STUPEFY!" shouted Vergil as the spell landed straight at the bully, sending him flying through the broken windows of the long closed Ollivander's. Vergil grabbed the boy by the collar and lifted him up to his flaming emerald eyes. Vergil whispered in the boy's ear "Never... call anyone a mudblood... and don't disrespect the muggles." The boy, scared shitless of the man, nodded his head fearfully, and ran off... |

He sat eating a large helping of pumpkin ice cream with a few cashews mixed in. Carter sat watching as people passed noticing students that had either passed and graduated, or students he knew where still in school. Carter saw a boy a few shops down he was looking quite pleased with himself and although Carter couldnt see what he was doing he knew it wasnt good. He flicked his wand and uttered a few words. Instantly a picture appeared in front of him, a view he couldnt see from his spot. A circle surrounded by blue sparks being conjured by the boy he stared at. Carter sat watching with ammusement as the boy succeded with his plan and walked away into the crowds. Carter finished his ice cream and got from his seat heading for Madam Malkins. He was pleased that such a skilled student was in hogwarts but not pleased that he used his magic for the wrong reason. Carter opened the door to Madam Malkins and passed a student he knew all to well. "Hello Professor Nimmly." said a girl next to him. "Hello Celista, have a good summer?". _________________________ Celista stood on the podium with her arms stretched wide and body still. Her mother next to her looking proud. "Just another moment while i get your waist size and then you can step down." said a women with a long measuring tape. Celista stepped down and grabbed the water bottle her father was holding and took a swig. Her mother grabbed her shoulder and smiled. Her father was looking out towards the street. She knew he was remembering his days at hogwarts. Just outside a man was approaching the door. It swung open and closed again, the man walked a bit of the ways through the shop then stopped next to Celista. "Hello Professor Nimmly." she said politly. "Hello Celista, you have a nice summer." Mr. Nimmly asked. "Yes i did, thank you for asking." she said walking towards the door. Her parents where outside heading for the Leaky Cauldren. "Goodbye Professor." she said quickly over her shoulder. Last edited by alphonse224; August 3rd, 2009 at 09:53 PM. |

Excitement filled both girls when they steped into Diagon Ally for the first time since last year. "Okay Sally, I went to Grigots yesterday. There should be enough here for supplies for the both of us. Let's start with the books," Jakie said to Sally. "Alright Jakie." They both headed to the book store. Amongst all the racket of excited students getting supplies for school, Derek had just woke up. He had looked at his clock at the bed side table. "Crap! I'm late! I was supposed to wake up an hour ago!" He checked to see if his alarm was on. "Well that explains it. I forgot to set my alarm last night. Shoot!!!!" Derek hurriedly got dress and went on his way. He stopped into Gringots first then quickly went to the book store to start getting his supplies. "Okay Sally, you go get your books and I'll get mine. We'll meet at the register okay," said Jakie. "Alright Jakie." She scurried off to get her books. Derek saw Jakie as she went to get hers. He had followed her to the books to get his books for the year. When Jakie had turned around she saw Derek. "Oh hi Derek," she said. Derek, who was pulling a book off the shelf turned around. "Hey Jakie," he said, dropping a book. "Smooth......" Sally had ran to the register after she got her books. "Jakie are you comming?!" she shouted to Jakie. "Well, bye Derek," she said as she walked to the register to meet up with Sally. "Gosh, at this rate she'll never like me," he thought outloud as he picked up his book and went to the register. |

Aegis walked out of his house to go to the train station. He already hadprepared all his wizard tools and spellbooks the previous week. Suddenly as Aegis turned on a corner, his path was blocked by a mysterious figure. "Don't let your eye be fooled by tricks" said the figure. "This bumping into me proves the discertainty and hesitation in your eyes" said the figure in an ever gloomy voice. Aegis had no idea who or what the figure was. Aegis tried to ignore the figure's strange rambling and move on to the hogwarts station that was just across the street. |

| Rank 1 | Red whistled jauntily as he pushed through the doors of the Leaky Cauldron. The weight of the heavy object pushed joyfully against his side, and he slid his fingers over the smooth hard surface as he sat down opposite a rather muscular looking male. "You're late," the guy said anxiously, his nervous voice betraying would stereotypically be a jock-type confidence, "I told you to be here by noon." "Relax Craig," replied Red with a grin, reaching into his pocket and feeling the heavy object, "It took a bit longer than expected to finish your whole order." "But you have it then?" asked Craig, his eyes lighting up before darkening with suspicion, "You better not be trying to con me, Freid." "Don't worry about it," Red assured the seventh year, pulling the small object from his pocket, glancing carefully around, and sliding it across the table. Craig reached down with a hand the size of a dinner plate and picked up the small stone confusedly, his other hand pushing the brown bangs across his handsome face. "Uh, what is it?" Craig asked, feeling somewhat stupid, as Red mentally rolled his eyes before taking the heavy stone back. "This, my friend, is what you call a Potion Vaporizer. Took me forever to track this thing down. It's an enchanted chalice that when potion is poured into it, it transmutes it into a gaseous form. Makes potions last a helluva lot longer, and can be inhaled instead of drinking. It's usually used for magical gardening, driving away gnomes, stuff like that. For your purposes though, I've got a foolproof plan." "Phew, thanks man," grinned Craig, his eyes lighting up as Red reached into his pocket, "You saved me. There's this top notch lass in Gryffindor that I've been tryin' to score with for months now. How am I gonna do this?" "Easy buddy," replied Red, his natural charm apparent as he withdrew four vials from his inner robe pocket. He held them up for Craig to see, each one filled with a different colored potion, excluding the fourth which seemed to be empty. "These four are gonna get you more tail than you can imagine." Craig grinned fiendishly as Red went down the line. "First off, your straight up Amortentia. Powerful love potion; self-evident. Secondly, your good ol' Polyjuice potion. You're familiar with that, but I'll explain how we're gonna do it later. Thirdly, this was especially hard to snatch, but I got you some of that liquid luck; a full vial of Felix Felicis." Craig's eyes glowed as he stared at the shimmering gold liquid before he glanced at the fourth vial. "What's that for?" he asked, frowning at the apparently empty glass, and Red smiled. "Patience Craig, let me give you your instructions first," he said, taking out a rolled sheet of parchment from his back pocket and sliding it across the table as he began to speak, "First, you are going to take the Polyjuice. That has to be taken orally, no shortcuts around it. The fourth vial contains ten hairs, each one from a different kids from my hometown. Each one the same age, and with the same build as you. You are to take one hair for each transformation. After your transformation, you are going to take a sip of Felix Felicis. It is most potent that way. Use it sparingly though, that stuff is rare. Afterward, you take the vial of Amortentia and spill a couple of drops on the Vaporizer. It'll turn the whole thing into a makeshift chick magnet, and any girl who gets a whiff is gonna want to grab you. You pass her in the hallway, lead her down to the Room of Requirements, and BAM, you've got yourself a good night. Best thing is, in the morning when the Polyjuice wears off, she's gonna have no idea who it was; and you my friend, will have just scored the best girl in Gryffindor, without having to commit at all." Craig just whistled, his mind already floating ahead to that night. "Bloody hell man, it's perfect!" he whistled, utterly amazed, "How much do I owe you again?" "Eh, with getting the Vaporizer, the charge for service, each of the potions, added for the Felix Felicis, not to mention writing down the instructions for you..." Red calculated in his mind the cost, adding the usual 20% without telling Craig, "It'll come up to an even 66 galleons and 10 sickles. And that's my bargain summer price." "Merlin's beard!" exclaimed Craig, his eyes bulging out, "That's practically a top broomstick!" "Think of it this way Craig," responded Red with a grin, "You've got ten hairs there. With the proper rationing, that's ten girls for you to work your magic with..." Craig froze for a moment, squinting for a second at Red, his brain pumping with the decision. Finally, he scooped up all of the objects on the table carefully into a small bag. Red smiled broadly as he dropped a jingling bag of coins onto the table, which he quickly pocketed. "Pleasure doing business with you," he said, nodding to him as he left the Leaky Cauldron in a hurry. Red yawned, standing up and stretching, glancing around the deserted bar. The place was deserted, as planned. He had chosen a specific time where not a lot of people would be around, and even so, had enchanted his own voice not to carry above the others. A sort of silencing charm to work so that only Craig would hear him. Just a safety net. "There we go," he said aloud, pointing the wand at his neck and cracking it with a grin, "Not bad for the start off the year." His voice now back to normal, he walked towards the stairs, ready to take a quick breather in his room before heading back out into the alley. He still had a couple of orders he could fill while he was out here... OOC: Enter Vega; he's walking up the stairs to all the rooms. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Vega was pacing around her room for at least twenty minutes before finally deciding a proper walk might do her a bit of good. Imagining the cool night air was already relaxing her nerves and her pacing slowed to a stop. She opened her trunk and grabbed a sweater from the top before tucking her wand in her back pocket then kicked her trunk closed. The sweater was nice a comfortable, not to heavy so she'd be fine outside so she tied it around her waist until she needed it and headed out. The blonde girl could hear someone walking up the stairs but she didn't pay it any heed. People were usually just repelled from her like a magnet. Maybe it was her semi-violent nature? Nah, she was rarely violent at school except when someone seriously pissed her off. Could be that people noticed her slight insanity whenever she fought with kids. Fighting was like a dance to her, with carefully executed steps and lithe movements. Sometimes during her thoughts, Vega stopped noticing her surroundings and a moment later she bumped into someone slightly taller than her. She quickly scrambled to her feet, dusting off her pants and shirt then checked her make sure her wand hadn't snapped when she had fallen. Once she had made sure everything was in order she looked to who she had bumped into. "I'm sorry, wasn't watching where I was headed." Vega said quickly, offering her hand to help him up. She was a bit of a klutz usually and she knew it. So did half her house probably, now that she thought about it. Maybe half the school even, sometimes tripping into the classroom could do that. |

| CARAMELLDANSEN!!!!!!! | Dusk walked the halls of Malfoy Manor with her her albino snake wrapped around her neck. Dawn was beautiful and always made Dusk feel better when she was down. Tomorrow was the start of her 5th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At the end of her 1st year, some of the old servants of her parents' house had picked her and her brother, Dante up from the train and brought them to live at the Manor, where they belonged. First year had been strange and exciting, especially since she had finally been reunited with Dante. Dusk made her way to her private suite of rooms to check out her new books. They had been picked up by some of the house elves and brought directly to her rooms. She whispered the spell that would unlock the door and opened the door. The smell of lavender wafted through the room. She had left the candle lit on purpose. She loved the smell. It always soothed her. Her new books were on the table next to the vase full of flowers she couldn't name. She set Dawn down on her heating stone and ran her fingers over the new books. "Tomorrow's going to be very interesting," she said to the snake. "I wonder how many first years will end up in Slytherin this year." "Hopefully not too many," said her brother standing in her doorway. "They do get rather annoying." "You're not very nice, Dante," she told him. "Well, Dusk, neither are you," he replied. She turned around to see him saunter into her room. He walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her. She rested her head against his chest and held onto him. She never would have survived in Hogwarts this long if it wasn't for him. He always looked out for her, even though she could usually take care of herself. "Get to bed, Sister," he told her. "We've a big day tomorrow." "I'll get to bed if you do," she told him. "Agreed." _______________________________________________________________ Dante walked back to his own suite of rooms, just down the hall from his sister. His books were also on the table, but instead of a vase of flowers, he had a large candelabra standing there. He was just as excited as his sister for the start of term, though he didn't relish the thought of dealing with the first years. They did get on his nerves quite often. He and his sister had both turned down the option of being prefects for that reason alone. Dante lay down in his bed and soon fell asleep. |

"Eh, don't worry about it," he said casually, pushing his brown bangs out of his face, "Been hit harder than that before." He grinned sheepishly as he brushed off his robes. She was a cutie to be sure; in an odd kind of way though. Gave him a bit of a chill, despite the physical attraction. He could not place his finger on it... "Well and how bout you, what brings you to the Leaky Cauldren." asked Tom with a curious tone.
