"The time has come"

A dark-clad figure spoke in a heavily accented voice, gesturing to those behind him.

"Soon."

They waited, hanging on his every word, though he spoke few.

"We move."

He eyed the two gleaming, circular stones from the darkness of his hood. Senkai gates, one connecting to Soul Society, one to Hueco Mundo.

"When they turn on one another, we emerge. We will win. Definatly."



Little did he know that turning point had already come to pass.

A group of twenty hollows emerged from a gargantua, not far from the outskirts of Rukongai. Tired of the nonchalent indifference of their leader, Grimmjow Jaggerjacks, the group had decided to launch their own attack on Soul Society. Likewise, a group of headstrong Shinigami initiates emerged from a gate within Hueco Mundo, seeking to hunt the 'Hollows' they had heard so much about but had never battled, or even seen.

The uneasy truce had come to a close.
