What do a crying infant, drunken twi’lek, and dancing iridorian all have in common?? They all died at exactly the same moment, on exactly the same day. Its strange that all would have the misfortune to face an untimely death at the same time. Yet, not so strange when you learn how. You see, their planet, it fell into itself. It was consumed by unknown forces from the inside out. This planet was Taris.

That day, three billion men, women, and children perished. They were consumed by the very planet that had brought them life for so many years. Their only warning beforehand, was a strange gut feeling. Something miniscule compared to the feeling all those force sensitive. All around the galaxy, people were clambering around media outlets to figure out what had happened. It wasn’t long before they got what they had wanted.

The destruction of Taris became a hot topic. Even children were aware of the grim event. It didn’t take long for the Reformed Republic to mobilize its forces. Unaware of the presence of the Order, the Republic has turned all its resources towards eliminating the Sith. But, the Sith themselves are still an alien threat to the Republic. Never have they known the power of the Dark Side of the force, but soon they will learn…

A tall, lean man walked down the ruined corridors of the Jedi temple. He wore black garments, covering every inch of his body except his head. A flowing black cape rested on his back as he made his way to his destination. He paused as he came to the room he was looking for, the former Council's meeting room. The Dark Lord of the Sith, Torrent, had transformed it into a throne room for himself, his apprentice at his side. The man in dark clothing slowly approached the intimidating Sith Lord.

"My lord, Taris, a Sith controlled planet, has been destroyed by the Order." said the black clad messenger

Darth Torrent inhaled, deeply, before replying. "Tell me Fractis, do you know how they accomplished such a task?"

"No my lord, we cannot explain how they managed to have the planet collapse into itself."

"I did not ask about “we” I asked about you.”

“N-n-no, I do not know.”

Torrent, finally getting an answer, waved off to his side. Two sith immediately came and grabbed Fractis right under his armpits. They dragged him away, Fractis screaming the entire time. Fractis knew what happened to those whom Darth Torrent dismissed in such a manner. They were most often dismembered and fed to the genetically engineered banthas that Torrent kept in the dungeons.

“Eranas, prepare our elite to move. Tell them to wait for me in the hangar bay, when I arrive we will depart.”

“Telmiac, the Republic cannot stand idle while the Jedi are subjected to the threat of genocide from the sith.” Said Al’dir, a strong voice in the senate.

“Yes, surely general you can commit our army to this noble cause.” Said Fallon, an Ithorian senator

Many more in the senate followed the lead of Al’dir. They all voiced their opinions, favoring the idea of mobilizing Republic forces. Telmiac, the Republic general, did not want to waste the effort. At this moment, the army of the Republic was busy dealing with bandits and the Renegades, a group akin to the Separatists. After all, the Republic did not want another Galactic Empire.

Telmiac ground his teeth and let slip a slight groan. What was more important, the ensured existence of the Jedi order, or the existence of the Republic? The Jedi had failed the Republic before. As all these thoughts raced through the mind of Telmiac, a senator provided him an ultimatum.

“The senate has spoken Telmiac! Either our forces mobilize with your compliance and leadership, or we cut you out of the picture!” yelled Al’dir

Telmiac frowned before replying. “So be it! I will assist the Jedi against the Sith threat.”

The Senate was immediately consumed by loud cheers and claps. The New Jedi Order would not fall on their watch. However, the Renegades would have to be dealt with quickly. Had that been a choice between the existence of the Republic and the Jedi Order? If so, had Telmiac made the right choice?

Hyther walked into the main room where the other Leaders had gathered. The first part of the plan already been done, but it wasn't a joined console who had chosen to destroy the planet.

"Who is to blame for the death of so many innocence lives?" Hyther exclaimed slamming her light saber handle on the table.

"Your highness, to get threw to these lesser beings we have to do with swift, unfeeling force." a large man at the end of the table calmly spoke moving his hand and swiftly placing her saber back on her belt.

"There is no need for theatrics Leader Beelee." Hyther took her place at the other end of the table. She hated this spot and couldn't believe she was stuck at the end. She was the only woman at the table of thirteen, it seems her planet is the only ones who truly know the strong powers that lay within the feminin body.

"Hyther...it seems that you do not truly believe in all that we stand for as the Order of Malstrom. If you do not wish to participate please leave and take care of your weak female runned planet." The snake like creature proclaimed to her right and four chairs down.

Hyther shifted her eyes and a long drop of blood feel from the Leaders right cheek. Leader Shither hissed at her and drew his gun, but Leader Beelee was quicker to snatch the gun away.

"There is no need for fighting between us." He quickly turned to Shither,"If you wish to die for no reason be my guest for I can assure that Hyther could kill you without you even firing a shoot. Her force skills are beyond compare to most of you at this table. If she wasn't a woman she could maybe replace me, that is without question."

Hyther sneered at the words "if she wasn't a woman." Held back by a man for the first time in her life and it doesn't sit in her stomach well.

"To get back to business Leader Beelee. Was the destruction of a whole planet necessary? Just like our planets not all of them have the potiential." Hyther said placing her hands on the table.

"Unlike our planets these creatures can hold the genes in there DNA that can pass on to their children. Where the parents couldn't have the power, yet their children can. It is all very complicated, but the need to destroy all DNA in this system is necessary." Beelee explained showing a DNA diagram in hologram form on the table. "The next planet will be determined in the days to come. It seems that our work has not gone unnoticed, as planned. Be prepared for a fight, I'm sure that these life forms aren't scared to die for their ideals.

[Piercing Light]

"Soto! Pay attention!"

"Yeah, yeah I'am, go on". Soto said to his master. This was the tenth time he had gotten in trouble this month. "Soto you are a jedi knight now, don't you think you should be acting a bit more mature?" Soto yawned, "That dosen't mean I have to be boring does it? I was just trying to have some fun master". His master sighed. "Soto what are we going to do with you?" "Can I go now?" Soto asked. "Sure, go ahead, just remember what I said alright?" Soto nodds his head and runs off. He heads over to the temple garden, exotic plants are placed along a marbel path. In the center is a round fountain. Soto walks over and sits on a bench. He looks around, today was a rest day for padawans and knights. Someone had put on music, and people were dancing. Soto stood up and stretched. "I might as well join them". he said, heading over with a mischievous smile on his face.

Zen walked around the grounds on the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. The sun was shining down warm on the fields and though she wouldn't admit it, her knights robes were getting stuffy. Her lightsaber was bumping against her hip as she walked towards the doors inside. It was much more comfortable inside, she admitted to herself. There wasn't much for her to do right now, the council was discussing a recent attack on the planet Taris. There was nothing left there except rubble, the planet was completely eradicated.

Zen walked into a training room and went to a nearby PC, typing in a training routine she had been working with lately before grabbing a visor and drawing her lightsaber.

Grado looked around cloaked in his brown jedi cloak, His hood up to cover his face, He couldn't afford to fail this mission...He was sent here to find out if the sith were meeting here, Since he heard of the planet that was swallowed by space a few weeks or other ago...He was hidden behind one of the old pillars that was deterorating by the landing spot. He had a hidden Speeder about 30 meters away and was silently observing if anything suspicious was going on...

Outside Jedi Enclave

Master Heinlein had recently been at a reunion of the Jedi High Council about the destruction of a planet recently. Nevertheless he didn’t stay until the end of the reunion; he preferred to go see some Jedi’s Headquarter and others place where Jedi gathered, or could find them alone, in order to evaluate the situation of their side and to see if some needed help. He also undertook an assignment that he himself proposed to the High Council, to investigate on possible correlation between this accident, terrorism, this new kind of Jedi purge, and the Siths, those last one having taken over Coruscant not that long ago. The overall situation worried him and he could feel that it wasn’t near to get better, not at all. His ship came nearby the planet and landed near of the Jedi Enclave. He came out of the ship, and looked at the co-pilot of it, a non force-sensitive pilot that worked for the Republic and wanted to come to be sure nothing would happen to one more Jedi; Heinlein didn’t both explaining him he’d merely high up his chance to be killed and took him at the condition he speaks of interesting topic on the way and more specifically pilots except for the dangerous parts

“Here” He said to the man “We’re arrived, and I’m not dead. Now, I was nice, I didn’t say anything, but don’t count on other Jedi to be that nice.” He said, considering most would have used a mind trick to make him forget his own request; yet Master Heinlein considered that accessing to his request would make this soldier feel useful, more confident, in shot feeling better; yet he better don’t try to do this with other Jedi considering they won’t all have those precise consideration.

“Thanks a lot.” Said the man in leaving the ship and he ran toward the Jedi enclave to offer his service as a guard, hoping to be at least useful at this. Since the Jedi saved him as a kid, he felt he had to do that, yet it was more than likely that Jedi could perfectly handle the situation without him.

Heinlein sighed and activated the robot inside the ship, that came to control the ship and made it fly somewhere in safety and hided, and then he walked and entered himself inside the Jedi Enclave. As he entered, some Jedi younger than him, either Padawan or Knight, saluted him. It reminded him he was considering to take someone to teach his knowledge of The Force, but right now wasn’t the moment. It was actually the first time he came here, never having needed to come here before, yet he had seen many hologram of it and knew his way. He needed to know the number of Jedi here, their ranks, powers and capacity in order to know what to do with them. After this, he’d go visit others place in this kind still to help, while doing research on the events. He went in the direction to search for someone to inform him of the situation here.

Hyther softly sat down in a chair facing a window out into space. This spot in her room was the only place she could truly relax and enjoy the vast emptiness of space. It was beautiful; no sound, no atmosphere, and no men can survive out there.

"Leader Hyther, there is a transmission coming through from Hiffermith." a loud voice boomed from the speaker over her head. "Would you like it later or now?"

"I'll take is now please," she replied pressing three buttons on the arm of the chair and a hologram of a small teenage Hifferain appeared."Hello sister..."

"Hello Hyther, how goes the war?" her sister said smiling wide, but with an eye of worry in her eyes.

"Jaller, is there something wrong or is this just a friendly call?" Hyther asked laying her head into her right hand.

"The elders have been talking behind our backs in the last months. They are worried about the other planets in the area trying to take control. They are scared that their masculine minds may be thinking of power rather than using their brains for more useful matters." Jaller replied twisting her hands in the front of her dress. Hyther wished she could see the color of it and not just this hologram blue.

"Jaller, the leaders of all the planets are on this ship, if they wish to take control of Hiffermith I will know about it. I have the ear of the force remember? I can hear if they even speak of taking my planet. There is no need for worry. Is there anything else that you need some council on?" Hyther replied taking a deep sigh and smirking from the corner of her mouth

"Does Maxum need to be fed twice a day?" Jaller laughed asking with a smirk of her own.

"Dear sister, remember that I love you and that Maxum needs fed once a day in the morning. Good night my little Jaller." Hyther said waving and pressing the end button. Getting up from the chair she walked into the bedroom to her right and slowly took off clothes and placed them all on her chest of clothes at the foot of the bed. Maybe a shower will help calm her nerves. Before taking off her towel she looked around the bathroom, she was still convinced the men had somehow planted a camera somewhere.

"Leader Hyther, you are needed in the meeting room in ten minutes. Leader Beelee would like a word with you." the speaker in the bathroom blared as she started the shower. He can wait a few minutes, she needs this time...

[Zaphod Beeblebronx]

Eranas bowed to his master and pulled a communicator from his hip. He sent out a message to the elites to inform them that they are to meet thier master in the hangar. When the message was done he turned to his master and bowed again.

"They have been notified."

He straigtened up and awaited further orders.

[The Future]

Dana walked through the Hallways of the Tatooine Jedi Temple, his hood over his head and his hands in his pockets, he looked bored and kinda sad, he stopped walking for a moment to look at the Younglings training, that reminded him of his days when he had just joined the Jedi Order. Dana took one hand of his pocket and brushed his shoulder off even though it wasn't dirty, he didn't know why he did it but he just did. "I have a strange feeling that the Jedi are going to fall soon, but why?" he asked as he kept walking.

Dana headed outside, there was a Sandstorm but he didn't care, he stood out there and closed his eyes, thinking about what was he going to do if this strange feeling about the Jedi would actually happen. Then he heard a noise, it was the moaning of a Tusken Raider, but where was it coming from? Dana turned around and headed back to the entrance when the Tusken Raider revealed himself. The Raider tried to attack Dana but he was too fast, he grabbed his Lightsaber and with one easy strike of the Lightsaber he cut the Tusken Raider's head off. "That.... was unusual..." he said as he looked at the headless Tusken Raider. Dana ran back into the Temple still thinking about his weird thought that he had about the Jedi.

Zen finished her excercise after awhile and took off the visor. She took a towel and wiped her face while she put her lightsaber back on her belt. She shut down the program she was using and left the room, ready to relax a bit. She passed by Soto, noticing that his master had berated him for not paying attention. Zen smiled a bit as she walked further through the Enclave, passing by a Jedi Master that she didn't recognize. She took notice that one of the other Jedi saluted so she knew he was a someone important.

"Good day, Master." Zen said respectfully as she passed by him. She knew she hadn't seen him on Dantooine before, since she had been here for many years, training. Maybe before she rested, she would look up who this Jedi master was.

Outside Jedi Enclave

Master Heinlein who was passing through the Corridor saluted Zen back as she passed. He was still in need to speak to the one in charge of the place, and he felt she had been here for a long time and asked her, longer than most people he passed by, and so considered she was the best placed to give him the needed information.

“Excuse me.” He told her as she passed, in turning toward her “Where’s the Master in charge of this place? I’d like to have a talk with him about the current situation.” He finished, hoping she’d know.

Torrent inhaled, deeply, rising from his throne as he did so. He exited the council chambers without a word, his apprentice following close behind. He walked with a purpose, each step harboring some form of power. The Dark Lord knew swift action was needed to quell the new threat. He had an idea, one might consider it simple folly or insanity. Soon that idea would become apparent, whether it would be realized had yet to be seen.

It wasn’t long before Torrent had reached the hangar bay. Inside were fourteen Sith soldiers. These were the few that rose above the ordinary. These fourteen soldiers, three of them women, held a skill set that put most of Torrent’s followers to shame. They had a mastery of some sort that was unparalleled by any other sith, except maybe Torrent himself. Torrent held them in the highest regard, trusting them with his personal protection.

“Master, may I ask why we were summoned in such a rushed manner?” asked a red twi’lek male

“Hush Nerha! He will reveal it in due time!” said a female Duros female

“Please Fer, I just would like to be informed. I was eating and nearly choked when I was summoned.”

“Quiet. Both of you.” Said a mandalorian male

“Thank you Quaestor. Everyone, it is my wish that you accompany me to Dantooine. This is the new base of the Jedi Order. If you do not wish to face this danger, go back to where you were.” Torrent said this in an authoritative manner

The Sith soldiers conversed in hushed whispers. Two of them left, the rest stayed. The twelve that remained consisted of Quaestor, Nerha, Fer, a Bith, a Miraluka, a Pau’an, two Mandalorians, a Sith(species), and three humans. These were ready to prove themselves to the Sith Lord. They all wanted to take the place of Eranas as his right hand. So in a sense, Eranas was competing.

Following a short speech, the group of fourteen sith in all boarded Torrent’s flagship, the Assimilator, which itself was an Eclipse-class dreadnought. Aboard it was a crew of 700,000 individual full time personnel. Added onto that was an army of 150,000 ground troops, recruited from the separatist Renegades. Considering they were an unorganized group, they had no problem in accepting the structure of the Sith Empire. It helped their cause, total separation from the Republic.

The Sith eventually made their way onto the massive bridge. It was there that they would wait out their journey. Accompanying the Assimilator was a fleet of TIE fighters contained inside its steel bowels.

Master Heinlein exited the council chambers amid a flaming debate. The masters of the council were deciding whether to lead their own assault against the Sith Empire. With the backing of the senate and the Republic, it could yield desirable results. Yet, some believed the Sith threat could just blow over soon. It had done so a few times before, but this time they had managed to fight the Jedi head-on, and win. These were points being discussed, and in quite a heated manner.

After a vote, it was decided that the council, and its underlings, stay idle until the Republic needed their assistance. Being so, they would gather their resources and prepare themselves. The Jedi Order had faced many Sith, but none in the recent centuries. Thus, no living Jedi, had much experience fighting opponents of the same ability as them. But, the Jedi would have a small group go undercover and infiltrate the Sith ranks.

It was a deadly, even brash move for a wisened council. However, it could work should the Jedi stay loyal. The chances of this though were slim, hence the low numbers sent. The Jedi Grand Master, Forza Grey, offered the job to merely three Jedi. These Jedi were special, deemed stronger than most others, in the mind as well as body. Can this mission succeed?

Hyther stood infront of the door as it slowly closed behind her. Sitting infront of her was the head of the Order of Malstrom, Leader Beelee.

"You called for me Beelee?" she asked with her hands behind her back. The chair slowly turned infront of her and Leader Beelee smiled back. He wasn't an unattractive man, but mostly average on all accounts.

"OH! Yes, Hyther, I'm glad you came...I've got a mission just for you that is very important." Beelee said getting out of the chair and walking towards Hyther. Average height, but very muscular with short black hair and deep brown eyes that seemed to be twinkling.

"I will do anything for the Order of Malstrom if it helps with the cause." Hyther said make not making a move. Beelee walked around her and placed his hand on her left shoulder and leaned in close and inhaled slowly through his nose. Hyther didn't flinch, but she shivered inside. Beelee was in his late 30s or early 40s and Hyther had no interest in his "company."

"I want you to go to a planet we have picked up on our frequencies, Dantooie. There seems to be a base of some sort there of one of the force holder groups. You are the most skilled of the group and you hold the power to use the force to strengthen your hearing." Hyther could could feel his hands moving across her back and pulling her into his chest...there was a long pause... "Did you know that you are a very attractive woman Hyther? With so much rage and Power..."

"Thank you sir...umm...*shakes head*...when would you like for me to leave." Hyther panted trying to ignore him and think of the mission ahead.

"In about an hour, and you are most welcome to stay here...in my apartment till that time.." Beelee smiled slowly pulling down on one of the shirt sleeves. Hyther didn't want to use her strengthr but she couldn't take this anymore. She thrusted herself over Beelee's back and grabbed his arm and pulled it back hard making him bend forward onto his knees in pain.

"I will not and will never sleep with you." she whispered in his ear, "I am going to leave now and prepare my ship for my mission. Thank you for the honor to take it on..."

Leader Beelee quickly grabbed Hyther arm and flipped her onto her back on the ground infront of him. He was now a man in both physical and ego pain.

"Do not come back without USEFUL information." was the only thing he said as he walked away and Hythr picked herself up off the ground and quickly left the room. Making her way to her room she collaspe on her bed and began to cry. The tears were for both of what happen and for the joy to finally leave the ship, even if it will only be for a while. Packing some supplies she made her way down to the hanger and boarded her ship....if only she knew what she was going to get herself into.

“Where’s the Master in charge of this place? I’d like to have a talk with him about the current situation.”


"The Jedi Master would be in the council chamber, sir. Just down this corridor. I believe the coucil is currently in session, since none of teh others are going to meet with the masters." Zen said nodding and pointing down the correct hallway. She glanced down the hall, wondering for a moment what might be going on in the council chambers, but she had no place there.

"I'm sure the masters would appreciate anything you add." Zen said as an after thought. She had nothing else to do today, so she could act like the padawans and try to eavesdrop but she didn't feel like getting in any trouble. She figured she could maybe round up a few of the other older Jedi here and try to find the crystal cave in the fields nearby.
