[Ubiquity]

The world had long since been a game of enjoyment, but with everything that kept happening everywhere else, nobody could tell exactly what was really going on in it at all times. That o course shouldn't have applied to those at CC Corp, but with that in mind, that was complete bull shit. With each problem and anomaly most of those fools didn't know what was wrong and ended up in some huge cover up plause to lie about it. In any case, there was no real reason to sit and think about all of that because The World had released all kinds of new improvements to the game, and that meant that more fun, and enjoyment was bound to be coming.

Boa was in one of the new servers that had been released and she had to admit, it was pretty interesting. It was called the Lorn Server, and this was completely different because usually the servers wee named after Greek characters, or something like that. "This is excellent." Boa was referring to the Gothic style of the root town she was in as it was mixed with some very interesting Hindu arrangements.

"Well I guess I should go to a field and get some battling in." It was apparent that many new words had been added as well, so she choose to go to "Glowing Luminescent White Light". A few seconds later she had appeared on the field and noticed that it was like some kind of ancient city that was half in ruins. There were monster nearby, but she choose to ignore them and open a chest that was right by her foot. The treasure she obtained wasn't bad at all, "I'll add this to my collection," there was a pause as the monsters seemed to notice her and then, "Hmm, that is something kinda new. Do they sense me??"

It seemed that the answer was yes, the monster moved towards her, and at once she was engaged in battle. Two of the creatures were fairly familiar, but the other one looked like an actual player, but it was obvious that it was not. "Alright bitches, lets do this!!!"

In the dungeon located at Lorn - Broken Fragmented Moon, two PCs were descending the floor heading for the treasure awaiting them at the Beast Temple at the fourth floor. The two were enjoying themselves, leveling up rather quickly and collecting some items. They hadn't the slightest clue that their fun would be over in just a few minutes. The pair reached the statue and ran to the Statue excited. The leader of the party was halted by a demon's hand. The boy stared at the pentagram scared and slowly looked up at the PC before him.

"You're that guy!" he yelled.

The girl who was adventuring with the other began to walk away. "You're Thanatos the Magatsu Oni..."

Thanatos grabbed her starting their PvP. "Give me your best shot. Show me your power and then I'll show you mine."

The boy summoned his scythe and charged at Thanatos. The weaker one swung it only to find that the attack did four points of damage. Thanatos scoffed as he pulled his right fist back and the red glow from Magatsu Kirei arose and the one it was to kill flinched in fear. The black fist dug into the guy's chest as Thanatos pushed him towards the edge of the temple's platform. The girl shot him in the back with her Steam Gun intent on distracting him. Thanatos dropped his first prey and went on towards her. He knocked her to ground and pounced on her. He let out his rage in a fury of punches until her PC turned into a ghost. The Magatsu Oni picked up the remaining enemy and dragged his claws through him.

"So simple," the PK groaned. He kicked open the chest. "I guess I can sell this crap back in the Root Town."

He returned back to the Root Town and walked from the Chaos Gate headed for a shop. Several PCs avoided him as he approached his destination. Nothing seemed scarier than a PK with no discerning taste for a victim. A group of female PCs were staring at him from nearby. He could tell they were speaking about him despite them being in a Party. To stop their remarks, Thanatos gave dark glare and then went on to the weapons shop to sell off the loot he collected.

[Piercing Light]

Trance was playing on a new server called the "kingdom server". He was level grinding in a random area he put in. The name that came up was racing hearts lost eternal. He entered what looked like a large grassy plain. In the distance he could see large castles, like those found in medieval times. He spotted three monsters that looked like imps in black knights armor. "Well they fit the mood here but they look ridiculous". Trance said laughing. The imps suddenly looked over him and drew their swords. " What?! thats new!" Trance said looking startled. The imps charged him and a battle started. "Well come on then"! He said summoning his weapons.

Strapping on her headset, Anemone clicked on The Worl's icon and impatiently waited as it started up. She considered using her mother's computer, but knew she should be grateful for the one her father gave her; though it wasn't great at loading, it was an expensive model.

"Ah!" she jumped as The World's welcome screen popped up. She smile dto herself, and dove into The World.

Until she logged out, she was now Ananome the Moonlight Mage.

Ananome warped into the new Root Town of the new server, Lorn, and checked her messages. As an Elixir Mage, other PCs often messaged her for help to dungeons. She was surpised to find her inbox empty for once, and sighed in dissapointment.

Training alone was a bore--besides, she was well leveled, so what was the point?

Instead, she steered herself towards the center of the Root Town and watched all the other players pass by.

Ananome had a new message, if she checked it she would find it was from a coded source, but only told her to go to Lorna: Glowing Luminescent White Light.......

Boa was spinning around so that she could dodge the swipes from the two dog like monsters attacking her, they did little damage, but she was shocked when the humanoid monster slashed her arm and did quite a bit of damage. "What hell?" Boa smashed her tail into both the dogs and killed them instantly, then turned back to the other creature. She touched her wrist, and a cannon formed on her arm rather quickly. Before waiting for energy to charge, Boa shot towards the monster and made a direct hit. Blowing a hole through its chest. The creature yelled in pain and fell back, but then still advanced towards her anyway.

Suddenly seeming like it was a bad idea to attack, the creature escaped. "Geez, what an annoying monster....." Boa walked off towards on of the buildings she was guessing was like the temples in other areas.

Oblivion stood on the remains of a wall of the ruins, He came to the new server to see who would come up, and he was standing proud his jacket blowing and he was holding his scythe like a flag, he noticed three monsters flying nearby, He jumped toward them and sliced the air hitting one of the monster's wings, It fell but one of the birds u turned toward him but he blocked the talons in mid air then he brought the large blade around and sliced right through it, then the final bird grabbed his scthe with it's talons and lifted him high into the sky, Then with tremendous strength, the bird pushed the scythe as it drooped the scythe that Oblivion was holding onto, and with great skill Oblivion plunged his scythe into the ground as he landed feet first into the ground, then the bird charged him from the side and he sliced it's head clean off. "This is a good training ground for strong members." As he landed he found a Tresure chest, inside was a speed boost charm.

Bloop!

Ananome looked up and saw the icon flashing over her head, as if on cue. "Oh?' She said outloud, her voice automatically translated into text. She checked her mail and saw a new message, stating:

Lorna: Glowing Luminescent White Light

She frowned to herself--she was unfamiliar with the terrain, how would she meet up with anyone? Nontheless she decided to test her luck and warped to the place.

[Piercing Light]

Two imps attack Trance at once, he leaps up and jumps off their heads. while still in the air Trance fires rounds at the imp behind them. while the imp is staggered he dashes up close and finishes it off with a few shots up close. "Too easy". He says, his back turned on the other to imps. the two tiny imps both simultaneously attack him. At the last second he jumps over them and bumps their heads together. He then launches them both in the air and blows them away. "hmm, not much EXP. and no items". Trance says, disappointed . "I'll just head back to root town". He says walking to the teleporter. Trance arives at root town and heads toward the center.

Thanatos sold a majority of the items in his inventory for 10,000 GP. He walked off sort of disappointed at the small quantity he received. He usually raked in more but PCs had began to figure out his various hunting grounds and avoid them at all costs. The boy recapped on his latest kill, he knew those people from his days as a PKK. They were his best friends who stopped requesting his participation in quests, events, or just spending time together not that Thanatos would admit he missed that in public though. He looked down on Magatsu Kirei and got up ready for another kill. He decided to visit the Omega Server, the Arena where he made a killing, literally. The imposing PC didn't really strike fear here as there were many Chaotic PKs such as himself.

"Yo, Oni!" an Arena patron called to him. "How 'bout a quick match?"

Thanatos nodded. "Get your team."

"And you?"

"Just me."

Minutes later, the Magatsu Oni stepped onto the Arena being booed by the other PCs here to watch the match. He had long gotten used to the ridicule and learned how to block it out easily. His opponents appeared, an X-Buster, an Injection Arm, and an Elixir Mage. He fought them once before and despite having one, they were actually skilled opponents so Thanatos didn't treat this like a game. The Injection Arm made a stab for Thanatos and pushed him towards the edge of the arena. In the chaos arose the X-Buster ready to pound the Oni. The bigger one thought quickly and braced himself having his health lowered slowly.

Boa was walking towards the structure and saw another treasure chest and opened it, receiving an item she already had an endless supply of, and that meant literally. As she turned to walk deeper into the building like structure, her eye caught a glow from the other side of the area that she could see. A second passed and then.....

"Oh, why hello there." Boa had seen the other player show up from a distance and used the guiding wings to warp back to the gate in the area. Boa smiled and looked down to see Ananome was the players name. Boa didn't doubt that Ananome already knew whom she was, but it wasn't in Boa's nature to really be all THAT arrogant, so she merely curtsied and then stuck out her dragon like hand. "So what's up?? You wanna join and be in my party?? You seem pretty good."

The look in Boa's eyes was a bit expressionless, but only because she swore that the humanoid monster had just scurried by somewhere.

[Piercing Light]

Trance bought some healing and support items from the shop in root town, he wasn't paying attention and bought too much. "Oh crap! I'am broke!". He sulked off to the teleporter and sat down. while there he over heard two PC's talking. "Have you heard of that new area?" "which one?" "Lorna: Glowing Luminescent White Light" "you gonna go to it?" " No way!, I've heard that the monsters there are way too strong." This was all Trance needed to hear, He entered the area into the teleporter and warped there. upon arivel he started to checkout the area. "I better join some other players" He thought. He spoted a Elixir Mage and what looked like a female dragon goddess. Trance ran over to talk to them. "Hey I'am Trance, mind if I join your party? looks like you have a free spot."

Boa saw another player practically skipping over to her and the other player. He looked kind of annoying and she could tell that things might get really interesting, but that was fine with her. As he neared, she looked directly at him and waited for whatever he was going to say. It was something that could be predicted. "Hey I'm Trance, mind if I join your party? looks like you have a free spot."

"What??" Boa looked at Trance, "Oh well right now I am the only one in my party, this gal here has yet to accept, but I am fine with the both of you joining me." She smiled widely and then waved her tail around. Maybe she wasn't as famous as she thought she was. It didn't matter to her though. Her motives weren't going to change.

[Flower]

Ananome looked curiously at the two PCs. She nodded and accepted their friend invites. "Call me Ananome." She told them cheerfully.

[Piercing Light]

"Cool, thanks!" Trance said with a smile on his face. "So, where should we head first? you guys can keep the treasure, I just need some more GP. Oh and I have plenty of items so ask me if you need some." Just as Trance finished talking he noticed a blip appear on his HUD. "wha-" before he could say anything a large humanoid monster struck him from behind, resulting in a critical hit and an "ambush!" message. "Damn!" Trance said, pulling out his weapons. "That took half my health! I think I am gonna need some here!"

As if out of thin air Oblivion swiped his scythe around the landed next to the boy "Get down." He said. the when he ducked he whirled his scythe around eliminating all the enemies, Then quick as a flash he was gone.
