Background Story :
This story happens three years after the events of Dirge of Cerberus, it's to say four years after Advent Children. This is the conclusion to the story of Final Fantasy VII and here is its prologue.

1/ The Division

The WRO who had been funded by Rufus Shinra starts to slowly fear that Rufus, behind his good intention, hopes to control the world once more through the WRO. Reeves, not stupid, decide to stop using Rufus’s money for the WRO and express directly his fear to the said person. Rufus from his side considers Reeve started to like the taste of power and decides the WRO isn’t good enough to bring the world regenesis.
Thus, Rufus decides to bring back Shinra. Not easy at first due to the company unpopularity and bad image having come after the Meteor Fall, but word has spread that Rufus was the one who funded all reconstruction throughout the world and actively fought against the return of the one who summoned the Meteor, restoring his image in people’s heart who are too desperate to see further than this. Using this newfound popularity, Rufus decides to create a new city that had been imagined by his Father and the Shinra Executive before the Meteor Fall in case the Promised Land would be found: Neo Midgar.

While WRO fears Shinra possibly having a new rise to power, Rufus keeps trying to calm down the situation and help actively WRO in different part of the world, except that this time he does it under Shinra name since WRO refuses his funding help. This is sure that Rufus and Reeve share the same view and objective: they wish for the world rebirth and reconstruction, they both want to pay their debt of the time they worked under the Shinra who killed the planet. But while their motives are honest, it is possible deep inside of him Rufus secretly hope this rebuilt world be under Shinra domination, what Reeve is better placed than anyone else to guess, maybe explaining his constant fear of the new Shinra, misunderstood by most people in the world.
While the world is unified by the need of reconstruction, some external source to the conflict between Rufus and Reeve thinks it could degenerate into a war sooner or later, because both side are getting too much difference ideologically with each day, even though they are already arguably in some kind of Cold War.

AVALANCHE from its side represents a neutral side in view to this conflict, even though Reeve is openly a member of it. While at heart its member tends to wish to follow Reeve, even directly in case as the one of Cid working as the leader of WRO’s fleet, they cannot totally reject Shinra seeing as to how they did everything possible to stop Sephiroth’s return years ago.

2/ The Guardian of the Planet

Nevertheless in the same time, Genesis plots with Weiss, and somehow Nero, in the shadow. No one in the world is aware of their existence, them being dead in the eyes of peoples. Weiss easily gathered for their causes the remnant of Deepground, who have always been loyal to him. While the word Evil comes to mind in thinking to such alliance, it is not to forget that Genesis claim to have become the planet’s protector, that Weiss was controlled by Hojo, Nero followed what he thought to be the best way to save his brother and the Deepground SOLDIER followed blindly who they thought to be Weiss, a hero and savior to them.

Genesis claimed that he’d awake the day when something would threaten the planet, and it is to assume that by friendship, Weiss and Nero whom once saved him from Shinra, then himself saved them from death, decided to help him in this Noble Cause, Weiss seeming to be a person of honor and considering Genesis his brother as well. While it seems at first their purpose may be the same, saving the planet, it is unknown if WRO, Shinra, Genesis and AVALANCHE could get along that well. Maybe Genesis’s plan is something that would throw him in conflict with them.

3/ The World's Enemy

What could have been the reason of his awakening? Officially it is “A huge threat for the planet”, what Sephiroth is the best known example. Nevertheless his failure in Advent Children makes his Rebirth unlikely, but not impossible. Geostigma still exists after Advent Children outside of Edge, even though deemed Inactive, thus it is not a threat…. For now. All those people possibly carrying a sleeping Geostigma could be part of his plans… His clone found in FFVII, had numbers, yet it is to be noted a few of those clones were never found in the story and never heard of latter on. Could they be of any use in a plan from Sephiroth? Or does he plan to call once more the Reunion, for his body rebirth through Jenova’s cell? It is unknown, but it appears Genesis may be thinking that Sephiroth’s consciousness is well alive and still plotting.

Starting Plot :
WRO suspects that Neo Midgar is secretly using a MAKO Reactor as power source unlike a reactor based on those of the Shera like Rufus claims. Shinra accepts to receive WRO people inside Neo Midgar, peoples who will never come back. WRO thinks to see there Shinra's act, while Shinra thinks it's an act to give WRO a reason to deem them evil. The true ones behind the WRO's agent disappearance are a group of people who came to think the world should end by this time, preferably by the hand of their God, who they think to be the one who summoned the Meteor and Geostigma, it's to say Sephiroth.

Shinra send an investigation team on place, as well as WRO, without each other knowing about the others team, but without knowing either a group of the fanatic who sees Sephiroth as a God is still there...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--- Neo Midgar ---
Shinra Building - 35th Floor

Rufus came out of the lift at the floor 35 of the new headquarters of the Shinra Corporation, a building, pretty similar to the old Shinra's headquarter, still located above of the main city, and even bigger than before - the tower now went up until 100 floors, or rather will have 100 floors, the 5 last floor still being in construction and the 30 last floor needing yet all of their equipment to allow the work to start. In looking around, it was obvious this building was of recent build : from time to time a technician passed by, or sometime it was a painter, but even mere people like them were to submit to the latest technology of protection of the building : the card system proved its limit in the past, and now a system of finger print was installed for all floors above 80, as well as for some room and floor that normal people shouldn't access : this very floor was one of them.

He headed for the central room of the area, who was the current reunion room of the company, even though it was empty at the moment, except for some files remaining from the previous reunion, reunion whose subject was the disappearance of some WRO agents. This famous WRO, had been suspicious of the existence of a MAKO Reactor inside of Neo Midgar, the city being so similar to Midgar, it is not hard to imagine that one of the new type reactor based on the Shera's engine being built could hide a MAKO's reactor.

"WRO..." he slowly said in taking a file on the table, no matter what he says, do or plans, WRO keeps thinking he wish a return to the state previously known during the Meteor Crisis : Shinra a Juggernaut, a monster who controls everything and everyone on the planet, even though Rufus keeps denying this. It's half why he sent a team composed of Turks, SOLDIERs and Infantrymen on the disappearance place, but especially he suspects WRO may be behind it, what better than this story to destroy his reputation? But if it is the game they want to play, he's ready to play it and to win it. Maybe he should be calling Tseng to ask him if he received any information of the Turk on place : anything wrong going on there could lead to a world crisis, and the only thing he was sure of is that neither him nor WRO ever want another crisis to fall on the planet.

--- Kidnapping Place ---
Forest - 100 meters far from the exact place

Amato decided to stay behind, even for many days, at the place where those WRO agents passed by. He, and some fellow peoples who had the same belief than him, had kidnapped those agents. They needed informations, informations were everyday those days but all were more worthless than the others. No, they needed true information, information that could lead them to accomplish their goal. They knew they had to fulfill their duty, in his absence someone has to do it, what did the planet ever do for them after all? What is humanity good for, why continuing this? It's what their God thought and he knew he was right.

He sat and quickly ate something he found in the forest, and kept waiting. Again 48 hours, it's what he thought. The information they got from those WRO agents were interesting, but far from enough, they needed more. What would do WRO without news from their comrades? They were going to send another team, he knew it. He wouldn't be able to take those down alone, but others were waiting a bit further. He could even try to attack one who would be alone for a couple minute. Meanwhile, he kept waiting

Tseng stood in the forest with his fellow Turks on their way to the kidnapping place. They were sent there by Shinra due to a group of WRO members having gone missing. The Turks' leader understood why they were here, Rufus didn't want anymore suffering. Another worldwide crisis could possibly destroy the world for good. The Planet didn't seem well enough to stay alive through another one and by all means, Shinra needed to avoid that. Tseng was sent here with three other Turks for a routine investigation. One of last times he did that, he almost died and he didn't consider failure an option this time.

"Tseng," Adrian spoke. "What's your plan, sir?"

Tseng sighed. "Give me a minute, Adrian, one mistake and we've probably may set a chain of events that'll hurt the people of the Planet. Don't be so in a rush. I knew someone like that and he died because of that." He took a look back at his allies. "We can't screw up, we're Turks."

--- Forest ---

Ruby nearby one of her companions, armed with a pistol and odachi and with spiky blue hair, he reminded her a bit of Tseng. Some part of her just couldn't get the knack of behaving professionally, not like Tseng or Adrian. She could compare herself to Reno but she just had to much fun watching him get drunk and seeing what she could get him to do in said state to actually compare herself to him fully. She was somewhere in between Tseng and Reno, that was for sure. Or Adrian and Reno, either way.

Unconciously, her right hand went to her side where one of her twin daggers lay, unused except for training simulations. At the end of each hilt was a materia, nestled comfortably where she could easily access its power in a time of need. The metal of her daggers were darkened, almost black, a gift from her uncle when she became a Turk. She still remembered his words the day he presented the to her.

Her uncle laid a sleek mahogany case on the table before her as they ate their last meal together before she left to start working. She had already donned her suit and already felt a bit toasty in it, being used to airy clothing that he skin could breath in.

"Ruby, I commisioned these for you when you first told me of your intentions. I remember when Shinra was a corrupted company but I see that Rufus Shinra has made an effort to change the world view of it. Still, I had these made to remind you of the darkness that still dwells in all men. To show you that no one is truly free of it. Let them guide you as I would."

Ruby smiled a bit at the memory. Though her uncle was far from her now, he still felt close to her heart and she did let the daggers guide her. She wouldn't remain a Turk if things became twisted but she felt confident that nothing would be. Not anytime soon or in her lifetime hopefully. She stole a glance at Adrian again and carefully cleared her throat.

"So, I don't think we were properly introduced. I'm Ruby Spires. How long have you been working with the Turks, if you don't mind my asking?" She said, folding her arms behind her back and moving to stand beside him. A glance over at Tseng quickly she made sure her voice was lowered so he wouldn't chastise her for acting unprofessional.

Since Tseng didn't present him an answer, Adrian kept on walking for the place of their mission, deep in thought. He had his mind on the mission wondering who or what could've taken the WRO. They weren't the most talented of fighters but it just never seemed likely that they be taken. Whatever it was, it almost broke through Adrian's nerves of steel. He tried to keep the same cool that Tseng had in the professional way anyone could. People generally compared the two which the younger didn't bother since idolizing his leader wasn't the only reason he acted this way. Suddenly, he felt bothered as if someone was watching him. His thoughts were interrupted by one of his fellow Turks, Ruby.

"So, I don't think we were properly introduced. I'm Ruby Spires. How long have you been working with the Turks, if you don't mind my asking?"

Adrian turned around. "Adrian Price." He tried to maintain his aloof personality as he didn't speak well around females. "I've been a Turk since late 2010..."

Tseng looked at him. "Don't worry, conversation is just what we need right now. Everyone's probably tense from worrying about incoming hostiles. Whoever they are, they won't be a problem."

Adrian didn't believe Tseng was speaking out of his right mind. He probably would've scolded them and called them Reno as an insult, which Adrian did take as one. The young man turned back to Ruby and took a good look at her. From what he knew, she was almost a female Reno but that wouldn't be a professional thing to say.

The lush, green forest stood still, letting the sounds of its inhabitants chirp and scatter across its floors. A bird, tired from its journey, fluttered its wings as it landed upon its branch, ready for rest. However, that rest was soon interrupted by what seemed like a blue and violet blur.

The blur turned out to be a person running through the forest, pushing branches out of the way and hopping over dead trees as she ran. Though many branches scraped the violet suit she wore, the cloth remained intact. Long, knee-length blue hair flowed serenly behind her, and through all this she was but a whisper.

Under normal circustances, this would have looked very odd--why would a young lady be running through the forest?

Then again, these weren't the usual circumstances.

Seventy two meters and counting, nearing destination in approximately seven minutes... Nila Zulimar thought to herself as she calculated the distance between herself and the site of the kidnapping as she darted through the trees.

A little less than half an hour ago, she had been assigned to investigate some rumored 'kidnappings' of the WRO agents. Though there may have been more Shinra people on the job, she had departed ahead of them--if a Second Class SOLDIER wouldn't be able to take the enemy on, who could?

It wasn't cockiness that she felt, but rather a sort of responsibility; Nila wasn't the type of person to flaunt her power. If something had happened to her, at least she would be able to warn the rest and have them call for reinforcements.

Sixty seven meters... Nila reminded herself, her crimson eyes focused on the task ahead.

Whatever was at the center of the dilemna would have to prepare themselves--and Nila would also have to be ready for anything.

"Adrian Price. I've been a Turk since late 2010..." He said, making Ruby nod. He seemed a bit tense but she kept her mouth shut. Maybe he didn't like her, in which case, she'd try to let him be if she could help it. She turned her head to listen to Tseng as he spoke to Adrian and smiled a bit.

"Don't worry, conversation is just what we need right now. Everyone's probably tense from worrying about incoming hostiles. Whoever they are, they won't be a problem." He said. Ruby thought she caught a look of disbelief cross Adrian's features. She rotated her shoulders, stretching some of her muscles. If there was a possibility of getting in a fight, she wanted to be loose and ready to move.

"Late 2010, huh? I joined up about have a year ago." She told him and trying to give him his space. She looked around the forest, enjoying a slight breeze that blew past them all. It was nice being outside, she missed spending the days outside, just relaxing in the grass but she still enjoyed being a Turk.

--- Neo Midgar ---
Shinra Building – 35th Floor

Rufus took his cellphone, but finally has put it back inside of his pocket. There was absolutely no point into contacting Tseng or anyone else from the investigation team right now. If he was in trouble, the phone could only be an annoyance, disturbing him from his duty or from a potential enemy, and if nothing special happens, then Tseng has orders to phone to him for a quick report of the situation before coming back for the next reunion and making a full report on what the team found. Either they’d confirm that the WRO is behind this fake kidnapping, or they’d be unable to confirm it and there’d be a doubt remaining as to why those agents disappeared. It could have been monsters who would have attacked and killed them for example, or even thief who would have killed them to take their goods, even though kidnapping them seems more interesting, to ask money to the WRO against their life, money being in this world in reconstruction hard to get for poor people, or those who lost everything.

But thanks to the Turk who succeeded to get the information, in spying from the inside the WRO, those hypotheses don’t work. It appears one of those WRO agents were discussing with his superior through cellphone at the moment of the kidnapping; it’s thanks to this very cellphone that the precise location of the kidnapping had been found. From those gathered information, the cellphone likely fell on place and wasn’t touched by anyone else after, allowing to easily finding it. Few sounds of battle were heard through it, and it made no doubt the enemies were humans. Thief? Unlikely, or else they would have taken the phone with them. Reeve is clever, it is not impossible for him to have imagined doing this fake kidnapping in order to break definitely Shinra’s reputation. Having this in mind, sending a Shinra Team on place was risked, very risked. Depending on what was found there, or what would happen there, another crisis, maybe a worldwide war could happen.

Yet not sending it was far worst: what if it wasn’t the WRO? No mistake, there is few chance the WRO don’t be behind it, yet if they aren’t the situation could be even worse. The behavior of those who did the acts would be senseless: he looked at it under every way; he didn’t see a reason as to why someone who isn’t a thief or not working for WRO would be acting this way. Except if they’re lunatic people of course, people who lost their mind for whatever reason or who are plain mere stupid. Thinking to it, such people could be a threat to Neo Midgar and Rocket Town’s inhabitant… He didn’t forget his promise to atone for his sins and to rebuild the world, and such world starts by a safe world. Not to add, Shinra’s troops going ahead to defend civilian, a pretty good advertising in favor of Shinra. Yet he didn’t buy this hypothesis a single second, this just looked too simple, and things were never simple. Another organized group with an unknown purpose? Kadaj came in his mind in thinking to this, there was no apparent reason behind his kidnapping of Tseng and Elena, yet there was one, just one he couldn’t find out without knowing about Jenova’s head. But once more he didn’t buy this hypothesis, even if by an amazing amount of bad luck Sephiroth still existed, not only a bunch of random WRO agents were meaningless, but also he is not the type to use a second time a way that failed. Not to add, he hardly saw how Sephiroth’s consciousness could have survived.

Every element hinted to the WRO trying to break Shinra’s reputation, very logical after all. Or maybe he merely really wished WRO be behind it, it’d give him the edge in their conflict, conflict of popularity one could say. He nevertheless couldn’t stop worrying about it, while he wants WRO be behind it, he knows the planet doesn’t, at any cost.

--- Kidnapping Place ---
Forest, about 50 meters

A random troopers working for the WRO was advancing toward the point where many of his fellow comrades had disappeared. He had been participating in the Deepground War three years ago and was still wondering how he could be alive and knew one thing: he didn’t want ever to be involved into another war. This is why in walking he hoped above all to not find anything hinting toward Shinra having kidnapped or killed the WRO Agents: a war could follow; he knew it’d happen even though no one wants it, what he cannot help but find stupid.

He knew he’d come back alive from this mission at least: he didn’t know everyone with him on mission, but he knew at least one of them was an Ex SOLDIER, First Class not to add. He also knew one of them was Yuffie Kisaragi, a member of the Legendary AVALANCHE who saved the world in the past, even though from the ancient Shinra’s time, AVALANCHE wasn’t allowed a so glorious role in people’s eyes.

-----------------------------------
Forest, 100 meters far from the exact place

Amato turned as he heard a very weak sound from far, but this time he knew it, it was something humans. He stopped what he was doing and turns toward the kidnapping place, not moving from his place and staying carefully hidden, yet taking his shotgun by safety. He also looked I front of him, toward a small trap he did, anyone who would run directly in front of him would fail in his trap, giving him a good minute free in case he decided to make his presence known.

“Come here my little WRO’s friends…” he slowly muttered as he looked at the place. His own cellphone was ready too, depending what button he’d push, his comrades would know the precise course of event to do. Yet, something kind of worried him: he felt like if the sound, still very weak, he head, was coming from two different directions…

Ari made his way through the forest. It was still and silent. The air gave off a dark vibe, as if you could sense a pure darkness lingering in the air. Ari knew about all the other WRO members that had gone missing in the area, but he was ready for anything.

I wonder what can can be the reason for the disappearance of all the WRO members. How can it be possible for a large number of people to just disappear.

Ari was aware of the Turks and the other people who were heading to the same place he was. They probably were all heading to Neo Midgar. He figured that since they were in large numbers, they would be able to stand a chance against whatever was posing a threat. The rest of his WRO team was in the surrounding perimeter, but he went at it alone. He preferred it that way. However it did intrigue Ari that one of the members of his WRO team was Yuffie Kisaragi, a former member of the legendary AVALANCHE group that had previously saved the world. It wouldn't surprise them if other people of that same team were her with the WRO.

However, as Ari moved in deeper to the forest he sensed something. Something that didn't feel as if it belonged. He felt a danger looming in the distance and he prepared his blade. Whatever had been kidnapping the WRO was near and he wasn't going to risk anything. He began to move closer to the rest of the WRO team. This was critical to the mission. All they had to do was find out who was responsible for the missing WRO members and it would be safer to proceed.

Something's coming. I know it.

A small group was led out from the darkness, with the final throes of the evening sunset fading beyond the highest buttes in the distance. The planets and brightest stars had alread made their entrance, and twinkled in a sky strewn in deepest red and violet. A group of men in dull dirt-colored robes were leading nearly a dozen others down an incline towards the center of Cosmo Canyon. The high cliff walls had dwellings perforated into it's face, and walkways leading therebetween along with an enormous observatory bore into the top. Those who walked in the middle of the group of cloaked men were dressed in a more modern fare, and it seemed that most of them were from the city of Edge. They were predominantly young adults both men and women, though a few middle aged individuals walked amongst them. When they came upon a large bonfire in the middle of the secluded village, two of the men in cloaks stopped the group and one of them began to speak.
"Travelers, you stand before the Cosmo Candle; guardian flame of the Valley of the Fallen Star longer than the tribes of man have walked upon this Planet. It is to this village you have journeyed to seek the truth of life; it is to this village you have sought, to glean an understanding of the Lifestream's crucible. Many of those who came with you today have been turned away; the reason for this being that the study of the secrets of this Planet is a time-worn sojourn, and without a proper focus guided unto you by our Elders, you may become lost. There are some who have visited here in the past who have become lost. It is best that you remember this fact."
They were led up to the bonfire and sat down together, withh the men in cloaks standing in a circle around them. Fire's light flickered on all of their faces, and murmured words were exchanged. Then they saw it appearing out from the shadows and crossing towards them. It was some sort of beast, walking on all fours; it had vibrant red fur with a crimson mane. It eyed them over with one golden eye, and in the brief flickers of flame, they could see black markings along his legs. To their surprise, after it sat on it's haunches, it began to speak.
"It is here you will sleep, protected by the same flame as our valley; in your dreams you will have an important vision, now rest."
One by one, they laid down upon the earth, with Cosmo Candle's flame radiating the heat that would keep them warm through the night. The red-furred beast strode off with the elders behind, ascending into the village to prepare for the weeks ahead.
"Elder Nanaki...", a voice emerged from behind him.
It was one of the cloaked men, he had pulled his hood back to reveal his face; it was young but chisled; a mess of brown hair and a light beard along his chin and cheeks.
"Elder Lainn, the time has come; you may take your leave. And be careful...", said Nanaki gazing back down to the man.
"The flame will guide me, Elder." Lainn returned a solemn, yet warm expression in mutual understanding "I will also see Elder Hargo before my departure."
And as quickly as he had appeared, he had receeded into the shadows. Nanaki turned back and looked to the stars before gazing to the north. Beyond these mountains, rivers, and towns was the city of Neo Midgar and a possible resurgence of Mako energy. And with that, Shinra Electric Power Company had yet to see it's demise; most disconcerting to Nanaki.
"Rufus, I hope for the sake of the Planet you have not lost your way again..."

The Turk Leader stopped his approach and that of his allies. "Wait." He pointed forward pass the trees. "We've made it."

Adrian took a look at Neo Midgar from afar. The Shinra Electric Company's very own actions in the past destroyed the city once known as Midgar. It was destroyed by the calamity people knew as Meteor and repelled, not completely however, by the Lifestream in the form of the spell Holy. Adrian hated thinking about the incident caused by the infamous SOLDIER Sephiroth and wished he never had to due to his mother and sister's deaths during the incident. The boy felt uncomfortable looking at Neo Midgar as this was Shinra's way of saying they were sorry...

"Adrian! Ruby!" Tseng ordered. "Get ready, we're not alone here."

Adrian drew his odachi and held it defensively. "Must be the kidnappers, sir. Maybe it's not safe to fight them if they took the WRO members."

"Don't underestimate yourself, Adrian, we aren't that susceptible to surprise. Remember, we are of Shinra's elite, the Turks."

He walked forward holding his gun at the ready and came out the forest with Adrian behind him.

Three meters...

Nila skidded to a halt, her heels slightly scraping the ground as she stopped suddenly; she tapped her forehead gear, and a small, holographic visor slid down and covered her eyes, displaying information.

There were more people approaching; the Turks weren't too far behind, and it looked like the other group was scattered. She paused, wondering whether or not to camp out or to wander around.

She chose the latter; tapping the gear again, the visor dissapated, and the SOLDIER slowly walked around, only the soft sounds of her heels clicking the floor accompanying her.

"Adrian! Ruby!" Tseng ordered. "Get ready, we're not alone here."

Ruby took her blades in hand and gripped them, making her knuckles whiten. She checked to make sure her materia was in good shape and she knew she had the energy to use said materia. She flipped her daggers to point up har arm so that in a rush, none of her comrades would get hurt and she could easily counter any attacks made on her with a proper move of her arm.

"Must be the kidnappers, sir. Maybe it's not safe to fight them if they took the WRO members."

"Don't underestimate yourself, Adrian, we aren't that susceptible to surprise. Remember, we are of Shinra's elite, the Turks."

Ruby smiled slightly. That's right, they were the Turks and she had made her way amongst them by some sheer miracle. Fate was smiling down on her the day she went for the job. Her weapons glinted slightly, the blackened metal, while an instrument of death, was her only form of protection. Maybe she should think about getting a gun, like Tseng, with her next paycheck. No, she prefered up close combat, even if it was more dangerous it was easier to get a hit on your opponent whereas bullets had the advantage of range but not everyone could hit their target.

Ari continued to make his way closer to Neo Midgar. he could see it in the distance. He was almost at the location. He sent a signal to the rest of the WRO team to meet up ahead. However he was still cautious about his surroundings, because he still sensed the presence of others. He came out of the forest and was looking at Neo Midgar. The wind was blowing across the forest, a cool breeze could be felt. Ari turned to his side and noticed a group of Turks standing next to him. Two men and a woman. Almost immediately the tension grew between the two sides. Ari had no idea what the Turks were doing at this location.

What are they here for? Headquarters never mentioned anything about the Turks being here. Could it be possible for Shinra to be behind the missing WRO members?

Ari slowly began to make his way to the Turks. He looked at each one in the eyes, analyzing any possible threat. He didn't want to have to fight at this time, not alone at least. He made sure to seem calm in front of the Turks but was ready at all times.

Hello, my name is Ari. I work with the WRO, and I was wondering what you guys were doing here?

Ari patiently awaited an answer, hoping that it could buy him sometime for his WRO team to arrive.

Staring off into the distance, Cloud could only think of what Rufus was planning. Maybe he would have to face Rufus again as an enemy. That was something that he would rather not do. He then looked back at Skye. Skye was an exact clone of Sephiroth. That potential coupled with Sephiroth's power was something that even Cloud was slightly afraid of. But he would change all that. For Skye's sake and the rest of the planet, Cloud would have to save Skye from Sephiroth or atleast make Skye strong enough to save Sephiroth on his own. Getting back on his cycle, Cloud made his way to the kidnapping place. They weren't too far off. Skye followed suit, not saying a word. All he could think was what would happen next. Hopefully everything would go fine. It was only minutes later that Cloud and Skye noticed how close they were to the kidnapping. Stopping their cycles, they got off. "

"Were only two meters away. Let's walk for now." Cloud said to Skye. Skye got off his back rather quickly, still silent. "Wait. Something doesn't seem right. There's others around." Skye said outloud. He could feel it as if someone had stepped into a spider net and Skye was the spider.

A sort of shock zipped through Nila's arm, and she turned around immediately. A second later, two motorcycles arrived, one with a silver haired lad and the other with the famous blonde--Cloud Strife.

Were these the ones behind the kidnapping?

A two on one battle would prove in 61% chance of defeat... Nila calculated with a slight frown. My chances are better if it were only one...

As much as she hated it, she slowly unsheathed a small dagger from her thigh pocket. Forgive me...But I cannot fail here. She thought, aiming for the boy, and in the next second she had thrown the dagger.
