Kingdom Hearts III - The Battle for the Door

A mere three months have past since the defeat of Xemnas and Organization XIII. All is quiet in the worlds. But it was not to be.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi receive a letter from the King. It's tone is urgent.

Sora, Riku, Kairi,
I was wrong, very wrong. Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody are no more, but...
Something is stirring amongst the worlds, I can sense it. But first let me tell you the whole story.

It seems that Ansem the Wise had another apprentice that he never spoke about in his reports. Why? Because he disappeared only six months after becoming his apprentice. Ansem assumed he fell from a cliff into the Great Maw, for evidence proved it. The truth is, that event was staged. He is not dead. It seems that this apprentice began to conduct research all on his own, similar to Xehanort's research, but separate. Unlike the other apprentices, he never lost his heart. But something bothers me though.

When I found that apprentice's secret lab right under the castle of Radiant Garden, I found a door. Somehow he was able to conjure a door to the dark realm. I found some reports that he wrote, saying that when he went inside, he went deeper, for his heart hungered for power. He found, and I quote, "a key-shaped weapon of some sort". When he realized its true power, he gave in to the darkness. His heart was apparently strong, for it does not seem like he lost it. The next few pages were blank, but on the last page he writes "the door to light and the door to darkness are connected. But in order to conquer them both, I must find the seven princesses of heart. Once I open the door to darkness, I can fill the door to light with darkness as well, thus conquering both". After that, I found another pile of papers that he wrote on, which I will explain.

Now a few weeks ago, Jiminy reported something that he found in his journal that he did not write. It says "We must return to free them from their torment". After I processed it, I came up with blank. We don't know what this means, but I think Ansem's last apprentice does. He found what was once called the Gathering Place. There he found an armored soldier, which he killed and took his keyblade. Yes, it was a keyblade. It seems the soldier was wandering in an immense field of keyblades, stuck in the ground. The armored soldier was actually a lingering spirit, a remnant of a battle I had forgotten long ago, or so he wrote. He found more lingering spirits and was able to persuade them to join him. Now he has assembled quite a group of them, and more seem to come.

Remember when I said he was looking for the princesses of heart? You know what that means. You must flee Destiny Islands before he gets there with his Heartless. Yes, Heartless. Kairi will be safe in our castle.

I hate to say this, but the worlds aren't at peace. I'm afraid your quest isn't over. I'm off to Yen Sid for his advice. I'm sending Donald and Goofy with the Gummi ship to get you out, for the pathways to the worlds have reopened.

War approaches. Prepare. I never thought I would witness another war like the one that occurred over ten years ago.

Now Sora, Riku, and Kairi are waiting for Donald and Goofy's arrival. They are overcome with a feeling of dread. In the distance, a storm approaches...

He doesn't do what others tell him to do unless it's what his heart wants to do also. He follows his heart and is figuring out what his purpose in his life is. He wears a White Nobody cloak.

Weapon: Pair of Gloves that has the power to manipulate Fire. It can also create fire at his own will. The fire can weapons so that Lyserg can use them... He mainly creates a Sword of Fire. (Looks like a katana on fire) The Glove is white with a black + mark on the middle... the gloves are known as the Cross Gloves.

Brief description: The main antagonist of this story. Years have passed since he faked his death in order to escape the limits of apprenticeship. After his trip into the dark realm, he gained power that knew no bounds. He is a Keyblade master and a mastermind. He has dark, blue hair, a black coat, black boots, black and silver fingerless gloves, and pure yellow eyes that intensify when he is angry. He commands an army of Heartless, and a group of twelve extremely powerful Spirit Knights. The idea was to copy the format of Org. XIII.
Weapon: Demonic Shadow; a Keyblade of intense dark power. In order to increase its potential, he fused it with the Keyblade of a Spirit Knight that he killed. Long, intricate, deadly, not to be messed with. Glows red with the presence of Xeron's rage.

Specializes in: Dark powers and insanely powerful mega attacks

Out of all the Spirit Knights that have joined Xeron, only one remained independent. He calls himself Terra. He seems to mourn someone and then go into fits of anger. He seems to think Xeron is someone he calls Master Xehanort, therefore he has an undying hatred for him.

Anyway, I'm in the mood to get this show on the road. Don't worry though, you can still sign up!

By the way, doesn't anyone want to play as Sora, Riku, or Kairi(or Terra)? If not, they'll just have to be controlled indirectly(meaning anyone can control them. just don't kill them or make them do anything stupid.)

Xeron stood on top of the Castle of Radiant garden, which was now fully restored. His black cape billowed in the wind as he stared out into the Great Maw. Thousands of Heartless were storming the towns and the maw. Unlike the battle that had occurred not too long ago, this one would be different. His Heartless were endless, for their power was fed by the deepest part of the dark realm. They were also more powerful and modified by Xeron himself. Now, Heartless could think and plan, much like a Nobody would do.

Xeron's yellow eyes gleamed. He could now leave this world to search for the princesses of heart. The Heartless were unlimited, so he need not worry about their annihilation. But first...

Xeron descended from his perch, and into the castle. He opened a door which led to his lab underground. Once there, he began to write.

This knight named Terra. He called Xeron, Master Xehanort. But he was sure that he could not be talking about the Xehanort he knew. He would have to look into this. The Gathering Place was a strange world. It was the birth place of a forgotten war. The remaining souls that became encased in armor when their body was killed had now joined Xeron. Surely then, this Master Xehanort had a soul as well? He would search for his soul and seize his power. And if a second Keyblade War were to sprout, he would be prepared for it. He knew there weren't enough warriors to oppose him.

And this Sora. He had watched from the day he saw him in the Org. XIII's world. He was interesting, especially since he and a couple of others possessed Keyblades.

Xeron sighed. He had spent so much time in darkness, he paid no heed to what had happened in the other worlds. No matter. He would win in the end.

He finished writing about his thoughts on the souls that were encased in armor and the Keyblade. Afterward, he brought up a Dark Corridor to Destiny Islands.

The sun was coming up... Zel woke up from his bed... Another day again he thought. Zel just laid their in his bed looking up into the ceiling... thinking about nothing. Zel closed his eyes and tried to go back to sleep. The Suns rays gleamed through the window into Zel's eyes. Zel got up and looked out the window into Twilight Town... what a peaceful town...

Zel changed his clothes and took his Cross Gloves... the gloves which gives him the power to manipulate fire. He liked the gloves... the final gift his father gave him before they were seperated. Anyways, he took the gloves and put it in his pockets...

He went outside and looked around... taking deep breathes. Hm... such a nice breeze he thought. Zel looked into the sky and noticed something wierd...

The storm had come.

Lightning crackled and thunder boomed. Rain poured down onto the Destiny Islands.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi were awaiting Donald and Goofy to arrive with the Gummi ship.

"What's taking them so long?" asked Sora. "I--Riku watch out!"

A Shadow Heartless had crept up behind Riku. Riku saw it and, brandishing his Keyblade, slew it. But more appeared.

"Kairi!" Sora shouted as he took out his Keyblade. "Get between us."

Later in Twilight Town, a similar effect was happening. A dark cloud had covered the sun. The town had grown dark. People didn't know waht was going on. Of course, they didn't panic. At least not until Heartless showed up.

People began to scream and run as NeoShadows arrived in numbers. It began to rain...

Back at Destiny Islands, Sora and Riku were getting tired. There were just too many. One Shadow leaped at Sora but was destroyed by a Thundaga spell. Sora turned to see Donald and Goofy with the Gummi ship.

"Come on!" shouted Sora and the trio ran towards the Gummi ship, slicing Shadows in their way. They all got into the Gummi ship. there was no time for greetings so they blasted off.

In the darkness stood an armored soldier. He watched them depart.

"Man," said the soldier. "Master Xeron's not gonna like this."

Sakura was walking around the Disney Castle, making sure that everything was okay. She kept a look out for any signs of Heartless within the castle. There were brooms walking in a single file line with buckets in their, starting their chores for the day. Sakura walked towards the library and found Queen Minnie reading a book on the King's desk. Walking out of the library, she saw Donald, outside with Daisy, having their date. While walking through the halls, she felt a strange aura coming nearby. She looked outside and saw a dark cloud, clouding over the castle.

"Donald, get Goofy and make sure you take everyone somewhere safe, especially the Queen. I'll be taking one of the Gummy ship. I'll keep in touch," she said, running towards the Gummy factory.

Sakura had taken one of the Gummy ships that Chip and Dale had finished working on and decided to head to Hollow Bastion.

"It looks like I'll need to talk to Merlin about this," she thought to herself.
