Kingdom Hearts III - The Battle for the Door

"Oh, I have learned more than a few tricks."

Xeron summoned his Keyblade. It glowed red with rage. "And now a change of location." He made a gesture with his hand.

There was a rumble as the roof of the throne room slowly opened, revealing an evening sky. The ground that Xeron and the others stood on, slowly rose. It went higher and higher until they were well into the sky. Pillars rose up all around, and created a force field that would prevent exit. The arena was huge with much space for blood and bodies.

Each of the pillars had a Keyblade of one of Xeron's Knights, except for Dawn's. Xeron floated up into the air, ready.

"Stage One has been initiated," he said. Power could be seen surrounding him, Arcane power combined with darkness. His yellow eyes gleamed.

"Let's rock."

Mikey felt dizzy high in the sky, but that is usually where his head is, so it felt like home! Mikey summoned his Keyblade, and twisted in a circle round and round, creating a small cyclone of Inferno Energy. It raced from Mikey at Xeron, hitting him full force. And explosion happened from all the power between them.

Mike sought this as oppertunity and leaped at Xeron, slashing back and forth, left and right. Mikey felt as time had slowed down right after he kicked. His eyes were foucased on Xeron, his yellow eyes piercing right threw the Inferno Explosion.

What was this odd sensation? Mikey felt ties to Xeron. Was it the Arcane Magic?

Mikeys eyes turned a piercing yellow as his eyes followed Xeron, but then they went back to the orignal sky blue.

Why do I feel this connection? What is going on?

[Unknown_Enemy]

He watched as mikey was hit by the Ice.
"Impressive, 'lord of darkness', But light and darkness aren't my only elements anymore" Axon said with a sneer "Nothingness is also on my side!". With that, he summoned about 1000 blades of floating red nothingness. "You see, a being of nothingness can control NOTHINGNESS!". He didn't fight just yet, though. He knew the Keyblade wielders would let him battle the original Xeron, the one without elements on his side, which would even the playing field. "I will thank you, or your closest loved ones when this is over, blade wielders" Axon muttered to himself.

[TWDIS]

this was it. the final battle had begun. Voran charged forward running towards Xeron with all his might. everything lead up to this moment. he leaped into the air to slash Xeron. then things seem to be slow-mo right before he hit him. no! then he reliezed what was going on. he was moving slower but Xeron wasn't! it had to be some kind of spell! sending Voran got sent hurling backwards and crashed into one of the pilars. Voran grunted and rolled to his feet. he looked to his left to see Jade barriaging Xeron with all kinds of magic. fire ice.. suddenly Jade jumped into the air sticking both her keyblades towards the sky and screaming:"Twin Lightning!. suddenly two huge lightning bolts flew down and struck Xeron. smoke flew everywhere as Jade landed back on the ground. but Voran knew that wouldn't be enough to take Xeron down. the smoke cleared and things seemed to slow down again. he looked around watching friends and family fight for their lives. it was a rather horrifieing sight. Voran saw Jade and Mikey get swatted away by Xeron as if they were bugs."noooooo! Voran cried charging forward. he hurled fireball after fireball as he felt his energy drain. what is this!? Voran thought. everyone was giving their all to take Xeron down.


Voran saw his father Richard jump into the air and clash keyblades with Xeron. sparks flew and energy flew from them. but their father got hit away. Voran caught him in his arms then layed him down standing up slowly with a deadly serious glare at Xeron. Voran charged forward with super speed."aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! he jumped into the air and swung his keyblade. they clashed and their was an explosion of light and darkness then consumed the pillars.

Xeron smiled cruelly, yellow eyes glowing demonically. Such was the power of the Arcane.

"Such power..." said Xeron in an unhuman voice. "...gone to waste. You insult me by using such petty attacks."

Time distorted once more. Xeron was the only one going at normal speed; everyone else was at slow. His slashes were effortless, yet caused much bloodshed.

He savored it. The blood; the pain; the power emanating from his aura.

"Darkness does not die!" shouted Xeron. "It evolves!" Hands of darkness erupted from the ground grabbing every wielder and smashing them against the wall.

"Those weapons you call Keyblades are toys against me! Now, feel the punishing sting of the Arcane!"

And he seemed to glide around the arena, slashing at them quickly, but time seemed to slow their movement. Xeron's yellow eyes gleamed even brighter. Soon they were not human eyes, but the eyes of a demon...the eyes of darkness.

"Mike..." Xeron's voice had changed again, becoming very strange. "You know not...you are living in a world of lies...a world of deceit...do you want...the truth?" Xeron held out his hand, as time slowed once more.

[Jet]

"Your the lier, Xeron!" Mike yelled, standing there holding his Keyblade. "The Power of LIGHT!" Mikey's body seemed to shed Light, and then, he compltely fell to the ground, out cold it seemed. What happened? Voran could only wonder as he protected Mikeys body from harm as it lay.

Another Vision? The Darkness, its surronding. "No!!!"

"Hello? Are you alive?"

"Mikey? Voran?"

"No. I am not."

"Oh. Well, can you atleast tell me where I am?"

"Why? Dont you know where you are? Wh your in our Hideout. The Inferno Clan Sector 1 Group's Base. The Arcane Clan was hunting us down, nearly caught us, and then we ran into you lieing next to a tree."

"The Arcane Clan?"

"Yes."

"Their leader. Does he go by the name of 'Xeron'?"

"Im afraid so. Xeron, he is feared by many. And we acutally thought the two boys killed him awhile ago when we came out of hiding."


"Two boys?"

"Yes. They were the two who were born to our leader, and arose to fight the man a year ago. One was a soldier of our fair King Mickey, who was recently captured. The other, was a wanderer from Radient Garden. They joined together, and fought Xeron several times."

"I see."

"After the battle, we know not of what happened. And miss, by chance would your name be Tifa?"

"Tifa? Yes, but how do you know my name?"

"Well, Miss Tifa, you looked like her, the one who traveled with the Inferno Heroes."

"Well yes. But, Mikey and Voran. Their names. The Inferno Heroes. Thats their names. Where are they?"

"Im sorry, but we have no idea where they are, dead or alive. They went off to fight a battle somewhere in the worlds. We havent seen them since they left."

"Oh. I see."

Another vision? Of Tifa this time?

Mikey awoke with a jolt. He stood up, he had been out for a minuite or two. Mikey summonded his Keyblade. Xeron looked at him wierd, but then asked the same question again. "What do you mean 'a world of lies'?" Mikey shouted.

"What do you mean by it!?!"

"Mikey Voran cried."thats what he means! those visions are fake! Xeron made them they are illusions,tricks!. Voran hurled 5 fireballs at Xeron."anyone else for a change of scenery? Voran asked not really giving them them a choice. he cast a teleport spell. the are exploded with light blinding everyone. when they reappeared they were on floating rock platforms over lava. they had all been spread out over diffirent platforms. Voran had come here once on one of his adventures long ago.

Voran was exhausted because he used TONS of his power to teleport them.

[Unknown_Enemy]

"So true, Dark Being, We will not kill you, I will BANISH you!" Axon jeered to the dark being known as Xeron "Just think how the demons will repay you for the imprisonment of thier friend, oh the torture and eternal suffering should be enough" He said from the sidelines, hovering with his nothing beams, preparing to silently cast the banishment whenever Xeron became weary.

[Jet]

Mikey snapped back into reality to catch what Axon said. Mikey grinned and looked over to Voran. "HA. And you think im cocky?" Mikey said, knowing Voran would get a little mad. Before Voran could react, Mikey and Xeron Clashed Keyblades. Richard followed right behind his son, but hitting much harder. Melissa stood on the side-lines, shooting Light Beams from afar. Zack stood there protecting Melissa and helping Jade it needed. But, Jade didnt need help. She was fiesty! She was strong, Mikey had to admit. Voran had good taste in women. Mikey on the other hand, had a horrible time. Mikey didnt care. Tifa and Cloud were dating, so no relationship there. So what now. Dawn was a dud and a spy, so his love-life sucked.

Mikey kept clashing Blades with Xeron, his father pushing hard on Xerons blade aswell.

[Sorrow]

OOC: Heh, Mike. Everything you put in that last vision completely contradicts my storyline for the sequel. Either erase it, or I'll have to use TWDIS's idea and make it as if it were just another one of Xeron's tricks.

Xeron made a spinning slash effortlessly, sending his attackers flying back. Power was so delicious...

"A world of lies, Mike," said Xeron. "The secrets your parents have hidden...the truths about you and your brother...do you really think...that this is all what you think it is?" Xeron pointed his Keyblade at Mike and Voran's father, after being teleported to the lava arena.

"The man you see here isn't what you think he is. True, he is considered a hero, but there was a time when he was hated by all...just for that one mistake...only your mother remained ignorant of what that mistake was." Xeron laughed.

"You were such a fool back then Richard. You were selfless, always wasting your time with the care of your friends...such a folly. Friendship is weakness! Family is meaningless! I would know! No matter how hard I tried...I was ignored...it was then I realized...power does not come from your friends...it comes from rage and hatred and the intent to destroy!!!"

There was an explosion of darkness. The group was teleported back to the pillared platform. Except instead of a stone ground, it was lava. Stones floated above the lava, one for each fighter. But the pilllars and the forcefield still surrounded the area.

Xeron held his hand in the air. "Anger and hate...are supreme!" And the sky went dark as gigantic comets rained from the sky, heading straight for the fighters.

[Jet]

OOC: I know. Tifa in the vision was on the verge of dieing, which I implied as Xerons tricks, which would make Mikey mad cuz he loved her(unless she turned evil too. Plot Twist =O)
Mikey and My writing styles are losing things depth now. Its like I dont feel enough Character Depth in MIkey. And SD, we want to help the story lines too, and not just add stuff Like the Inferno Magic and the Clan. We want to help a bit more ;D
And for now, not really a big post.


Mikey nodded down, standing on the floating Stone. "Xeron. I really dont give a damn if my life is a lie. I dont care if my life is hell. I just dont care!" Mikey said as one of the gigantic comets rained down at him. Mikey put his Keyblade infront of him, and started to swing Aerial Blasts of Inferno Power at the Comets, trying to break through them.

[Unknown_Enemy]

"NOW IS THE TIME!" Axon yelled as the thousands of lights began striking the comets. It was going perfectly according to plan. The comets were slowed down enough by the nothing-blades that the others had time to get to safety. "COCKEY, EH?" Axon tried to yell through the explosions to Mikey "Watch THIS!" he said as he ascended into the sky, and with a sudden wave of his hands, his keyblades became a purple light. "Sora and the others were helping quite alot with this, now its time to put it to use!" he said as he shot the light into the heavens, causing a heart-shaped moon to appear. "Yes, KINGDOM HEARTS! IT WORKED!" he exclaimed as he levitated to it "Not even you could defeat me now dark one!".

[TWDIS]

Voran breathed a deep breath. this battle....he felt like he didn't know who would come out on top. not a nice feeling. he looked over to Mikey. he felt bad for his brother. that look in his eyes...it was the same look he had long ago.. Voran had the same look in his eyes before he had found out he still had living family. he remembered it so well..

Voran walked the market of Radiant Garden. a festival type event had been taking place. he walked with his hands in his pockets looking at the ground as he walked. he was in a crowd of so many people. yet he felt so alone....he literally felt lke he had no reason to live...no reason to exsist...

Why Do I exsist?

I almost forget my own name..
its not like it matters...
I dont have anyone to tell my name too for them to remember..
I have no friends.

I am alone..

there is no reason for it..

And The Day I got My Keyblade.

why do I have the keyblade?..

I thought they only went to people who were importent?

that was when my life changed. that was the time I went to the castle and when the dusks were attacking..

When I met my family. I was so overjoyed. and when I met Jade..I fell in love. from that day on I knew I had a purpose. to protect my loved ones with all my power.

Mikey had discovered the one he thought he loved was a spy.
that had hurt him he knew it.

now he probably felt like he had nothing to live for.

how he knew...?
that look.
the look.
that very same look Voran had before he discovered his purpose.

Voran snapped back out of his memories to see everyone fighting. he gripped his keyblade. he would protect those he loved. no matter what. he charged forward then jumped into the air towards Xeron."see the light!!! Voran screamed. he struck Xeron in the stomach. alittle blood flowed and Xeron grunted."your days of darkness and hate are over! the two clashed keyblades. Voran could feel it in his bones. the comets showered around them like stars. a symbol to the battles end.

the battle would soon end. but the one who would take victory?

only time would tell.

[Sorrow]

Xeron glanced at the Kingdom Hearts with a bored expression.

"Kingdom Hearts has gone out of style, Nothing. There are better ways to obtain power. You know so little, for your Kingdom Hearts is weak. You cannot defeat me with that." He grunted as he was hit by Voran. Xeron recovered fast and grabbed Voran by the throat, throwing him against the pillar.

"The game is over, Keyblade masters. This is merely Stage One. Stage Two is impossible to beat." He raised his Keyblade into the air, its head pointing into the sky. The pillars began to glow, and the Keyblades of the Knights glowed even brighter.

The Keyblades were released, and they floated around Xeron, forming a circle around him. The circle began to spin, starting slow, and then spinning faster and faster until it was a blue blur of evil light.As it spun, it grew smaller and smaller, and as it touched Xeron, his entire body became encased in a dark aura.

When the aura faded, Xeron looked completely different. He wore heavy black armor with many jagged ends and spikes. His helmet was that of a dragon's head. His Keyblade had also changed, becoming longer, darker, and serrated with spikes. Huge, black, dragon's wings had sprouted from his back, ripping through his black, billowing cape. His eyes glowed an eerie yellow glow, and suddenly everyone felt as if it was all over.

The stadium became black as night, until there was nothing but darkness. Xeron stood floating in the pitch darkness.

"Stage Two," he said in a demonic voice. "Complete."

[Unknown_Enemy]

"Of course you would think of kingdom hearts as outdated" Axon said as he entered the vacinity of kingdom hearts, its purplish-blue aura only cutting a few yards into the darkness "If i was content with taking over the worlds" But I am not thinking of that, I am thinking of using it for good, and that is something you will never understand, demon!". And with that, he began to channel the power of light into himself. With this charge, he would be able to banish Xeron once and for all to a fitting, hellish, dimension. But it would take time, hopefully not enough time for xeron to kill anyone.
