Kingdom Hearts III - The Battle for the Door

Welcome to the Shadopolis, guests.

Xeron's voice rang through the empty air, coming from everywhere and nowhere at all. His words hung, and then departed.

See the gate? Looks like an ordinary gate, right? It is an ordinary gate, but it is guarded by extraordinary sentries. Can you get past them?

There was a mighty rumble as the earth shook. Two gargoyles about five stories tall emerged from a corner. Their bodies were humanoid, but their heads were the shape of wolves, their tails like a dragon's, and they had the wings of hawk. They held huge stone spears in their hands, and their eyes glared down at Voran and company with an eerie green glow.

Meet the Stone Sentinels. They've lasted three thousand years, so they're pretty tough. I'll see you at the entrance hall...if you make it there.

[Jet]

"That many? They look like they'd fall any second now." said Mikey with a cocky attitude. "They dont look so tou-" Mikey was cut short as on of the Stone Sentails swung its weopan. Mikey dodged it, but felt diffrent on how he just said what he said as he felt power.

Mikey and Zack, who were first to act, launched themselves at the enemies, only to be parring a blow, barley. Zack flung himself again, launching an 'OctaSlash' attack at one of the two Stone Sentineles. Zack found himself attacking pure stone and earth, which meant that his attack didnt do much. "Voran! Lets go!" yelled Mikey as he bursted into the air, and unleashing a double-barrled Inferno Strike.

[TWDIS]

"lets go Voran cried as he summoned his keyblade. Jade in unsion summoned both her keyblades obviously eager to get into the action. this would be her first big fight. she ran towards the Gargoyles zigzaging its swinging spear. Voran followed her right away right behind her just incase. the monster swung its huge spear at Jade. she jumped into the air flipping over it and landing on the otherside. Voran showered it with fireballs while avoiding its weapon."dont get cocky Mikey this things good Voran warned. that was one thing he didn't like about his brother. he was way too cocky. Jade shot fire from hidden dragon and ice from Star Seeker. the gorgoyle roared in anger and swung at Jade. Jade dived out out of way at the last second hitting the ground then rolling.

wow shes a natural Voran thought. she was already displaying very advanced skills for someone new to the keyblade. Voran couldn't wait to see what happened when she had some training.

[Jet]

"Cocky? I aint Cockyyyy!" cried Mikey just as he was hit into the air by one of the Stone Gargoyles weopans. Mikey gave a grunt, and then bursted into the air, attacking with all his power and might, putting a crack or two in one of them.

"Voran! Inferno Twist!" Mikey yelled as both he and Voran spun around, creating a Inferno Tornado that collided into eachother, forming an Inferno Hurricane. That would lead to some damge. Zack just kept using Materia from afar. Dawn, however, was back a ways a away with Melissa.

[TWDIS]

Voran rubbed the sand off his face after being thrown by the Gorgoyles then jumped back into the action. he jumped through the air towards the one of the Gorgoyles."Inferno Ignition! Voran yelled. his keyblade was enveloped in flame. he slashed one of monsters creating a medium sized crack in its arm(the same one Mikey cut) but this was enough. the arm gave way cracking then falling to the ground sending sand everywhere. the creature roared in anger then with the arm it still had twirled its spear like a helicopter blade making sand swirl towards it dragging Voran,Mikey Jade and Zack towards what would be their doom if they got close enough to the blade.

[Unknown_Enemy]

"My work is complete" Axon muttered under his breath as he looked up into the skiy to see the purple outline of a heart "The framework of Kingdom Hearts is complete". It had took several hours of diligent and non-stop work in his twilight magic in order to conjure the framework of another kingdom hearts, even though this one would be less powerful due to the swiftness of his casting "I doesn't matter". He walked back inside his castle and went to rest and regain his power.

[Sora the warrior]

Elvn appeared at the scene of the battle as Ren's necklace blew in the air. Elvn grabbed it letting the darkness around it evaporate from Elvn's invisible light radiance. He attached part of the necklace to his b=Keyblade and now it looked like a mixture of Oathkeeper and Oblivion. He jumped in front of Zack, Voran, and Mikey and held out his keyblade he casted Aero to counter the sand and blow it another way and swung his blade which broke through the creature's spear as slashed it. It retaliated with another part of it's spear slighlty knocking Elvn back. Elvn quickly got up and spun, swinging his blade to salsh the creature.
"They're harder than I thought..." Elvn muttered."Doesn't matter, Xeron's the true enemy."

[Jet]

OOC: Shadow Denizen, hope you dont mind, but im gonna give the Stone Sentanls a power :D


"Elvn." Mikey whispered, but jumped into action and slashed down the middle of it, creating a large crack down the middle of it. Mikey screamed as he used the same attack as Voran just used. "Inferno Ignition!"

Mikey cut the Stone Sentanal right through. Watching it drop to the ground. Just as he and Voran where about to take down the other one, the one they just destoryed stood back on each of its feet, seperated but still moving.

Mikey and Zack looked surprised, aswell as Voran. So thats why they've lasted that long, they just keep coming and regenerating! "Come on. Voran take the other one. Me and Zack will seperatly take on the two parts of the destroyed on." Mikey said, as he ran at the Gargoyal. "Inferno Explosion!" As those words were said, Mikey stopped and slashed one side of an 'X' in the air. It stayied there, the Inferno holding it from disappearing. Mikey then uppercutted the last side of the 'X' making it blast towards his Gargoyal enemy. It hit it with a deafening sound, which made it seem like it could die any second, but something made it continue to fight. A spell maybe?

Zack on the other hand was having difficulty attacking the Earth Warrior as he had no special power. Zack kept using Meteor Strike, which had a fire effect, which did damage, but it would take awhile.

OOC: that's a good idea Mike, but every power has a weakness. I'm sending you and TWDIS a pm.

Voran nodded and ran over to Jade and the two stood facing the other Gargoyle

OOC: like Mikey said if you dont mind I would like to give the Gargoyles a power.

the grotesqes(spelled wrong but w/e lol) creature lifted its stone head to the air and let out a defining wail. Voran almost passed out from the shriek and could see Mikey and Zack looking like they wanted to cut their ears off. suddenly emerging from the creatures mouth were these horribile things that looked like ghost.



Lol like that only waaay creepier I just ment like the ghost with no legs but the flowy body.

about 3 of them came from the Gargoyles mouth and flew towards the keyblade wielders. they screamed and swarmed around them. Voran swung his keyblade but it went right through it."what the hell are these things!? Voran cried. Voran hurled a fire ball from his keyblade but the Ghostlike creature absorbed the fire changing from the ghostly white to being made of fire. it hurled fireballs at the group. Voran dived pushing Jade out of the way of fireballs. they both landed in the sand with a grunt."what are those things? Jade screamed."I dont know Voran yelled. a voice boomed through the air seeming to come from everywhere. they are called Ravengers...they will consume your soul bringing them into the castle and making new warriors with them.

Voran held his keyblade up in the air and yelled: Magneta!

a void appeared and began to suck the Ravengers in. they wailed but were soon consumed.

the void then disappeared.

right after that a Gargoyle swung his spear at Voran.
Voran brought up his keyblade to block it.
their weapons clashed energy exploded through the area. Voran jumped back then forward doing a really high aerial over the Gargoyle. he noticed a green emerald on its head as he flipped over it. the gargoyle swatted him away before he could strike and he crashed into the sand.
but now he knew its weakness. but the monster seemed to know it now knew his weakness and would try even harder to kill him.

[Jet]

Noticing a small green emerald on its head, and a small one on each of the split gargoyals. Mike jumped into the air, and pointed at one of the half emeralds. A bright light line shot out, hitting the emerald. It wasnt enough. Mikey force his Inferno down the line, shattering one of the Gargoyals. It also shattered the other one, as they both were the same. Once down, one to go.

Just then Vorans gargoyal released an awful stench. Mikey jumped up in the air at the remaining Gargoyal, and colidded his Keyblade into its emerald. "Dude. You need a tic-tac!" and with that, Mikey destroyed both of the gargoyals. The battle was done.

"Voran. Zack. Jade. Dawn. Mom. We can go in now!" said Mikey, braking down the Castle gate and running into the Entrance Hall.

OOC: I just needed to get that battle done ;D

"Damnit Mikey leave one for me next time. he wacked Mikey on the back of the head as they entered the castle. man this place was creeeeepy. statues that seemed to be glaring at them and it was dark. he had a weird feeling that Xeron was just going to appear.

The sound of steady clapping resonated through the dark corridors.

I'm impressed. The Sentinels have never been defeated before. But enough of that. There is sometheing much worse than physical combat.

The air seemed to wriggle and squirm, as if the universe were having a seizure. Then, every member of Mike's party were suddenly inside an illusion. They were alone in the illusion, alone with their deepest darkest fears.

The power of illusion can cause people to go insane. What is it like to be alone with your nightmares?

OOC: So basically every member of the party is trapped in a separate illusion. Each illusion depicts that person's worst fears. What those fears are depends on your choices.

[Jet]

OOC: Um....can a giant school come out of nowhere? ;D

Mikey felt a cold shiver. His deepest darkest fear? The darkness. That was his greatest fear. But more than than just the Darkness, a dark clone of himself, the Mikey that sided with Xeron. And just as he thought that, there it was. A clone of Mikey, although its skin, hair, and clothes were all dark and black. The only thing that was diffrent was its evil yellow eyes.

Dark Mikey held a darker version of Fenrir. It was going to be a lone insane battle. "You! Dark Me!" Mikey yelled as he charged at it. The clone was strong and ruthless. Dark Mikey used an evil version of the Inferno Power. It was a dark black and purlpe rather than an orange and red color, and it was MUCH stronger. Mikey was shot back by the power.

Zack on the other hand was trapped with Jade, Dawn, and Melissa outside the illusion. They saw every minuite of The Inferno Brothers torture. They were luck not having to deal with this magic.

"no Voran muttered as darkness surrounded them. suddenly an evil Mikey appeared and began to fight the other Mikey. suddenly the Mikeys disappeared and he was alone in the darkness. the darkness disappeared(still in Xeron's trick) he was standing in a huge field death bodies surrounded him everywhere."Son...Help meeee........."
Voran horrified turned to see his father crawling towards him with swords spears arrows and everytype of weapon you could thing of jabbed into him. he was caked in blood and looked up with pleading eyes. he looked to his left to see his mother with a spear through her chest. dead.

to his right was Mikey with a sword through his chest and an arrow in his forehead. behind him Jade impaled by a spear through the stomach."No Voran cried tears welling in his eyes."Son help me Richard gasped. Voran went to reach for his fathers hand. his father reached out strangling Voran."d-ad what are you doing Voran wheezed. suddenly his father changed into Xeron and the others changed into all the current and former foes even ones who had died were there. Lunius the rockman who he had defeated. Ren was there Vulcan was there. everyone. end of the road Xeron said. all Xeron's men laughed. flames engulfed the area. suddenly Voran was tied to a cold metal table. Xeron and his men stood over him with what looked like doctors tools but they also had swords."now be BLIND and SIGHTLESS Xeron hissed. his hand lungedforward wrencing Voran's left eye out of the socket. Voran screamed in pain as Ren then removed the right. they all disappeared and Voran was alone-

when he woke up he still had no eyes but everyone was gone. but his mothers voice came through the air it sounded tortured and in pain"Voran honey..AAAAG AAAAH! She screamed."mother!? Voran cried not able to see due to lack of eyes. the screames continued echoeing. Voran went to cover his ears to find no hands. suddenly eyeballs appeared on his palms staring up at him wide open. his view changed so now he saw from the eyes view. it was horrifieing staring up at his eyeless self. Voran went to scream but there was no mouth.

in the real world Voran's body was spasming in a seizure like way and he was screaming.

in the illusion his mouth appeared on his hand and said: THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!! but it was Xeron's voice not his only it sounded way more mangled.

Voran's eyes shot open. he was on the floor with Zack his mom Jade and Dawn staring down at him worried."your alright Melissa cried she looked on the verge of tears and pulled him into a hug. but Voran was speachless because of the horror he had seen."we have to help Mikey Jade said about to charge in.
"no Voran said with a shaky voice. they all turned to him.Voran continued in a haunted tone:"he has to face his nightmare....alone...then Voran faded back into his mind trying to hide from the horror.

And I said trying...not suceeding...
