| Automatic Orangutang | (( OOC: If you wish to join, just check the OOC thread. :D For the search team, you will be starting a fair distance off from Pludo, and Axel will be posting first, to get you newer RPers off to a good start. Just remember, you are still a ways off from Pludo, so you guys still have some distance to travel. )) The streets went silent again, as the booming stopped, bringing the eerie silence back into the streets. Not a thing moved in the darkness of the night, the streets devoid of any life. The buildings and homes around them were broken, blown out by the regular bombing runs made by Salcarius Gummieships. Or, at least, that’s what D assumed they were, but there was no way to confirm it, as the Gummieships had no insignia or colours being flown on them. The sudden silence gave D the peace to think. Ever since they entered Pludo, under the guise of merchants, something felt off. The people almost seemed hollow, as if they were not really there. He and the rest of the team had quickly shook it off, and continued on. They found an abandoned home to make their headquarters, and began to make plans. Him, Igshar, and Reverse discussed their objective and plan for hours. They were only interrupted when they noticed a silence. It seemed so out of place, for just a minute before, the streets were abuzz with the daily life of a town. Now, it was dark, and silent. A quick check out the door revealed that all life in the town had stopped. Not a single person, cart, Chocobo, or thing was around. It was almost as if they were never there. Without even enough time to think, a loud whistle was heard, and all three had looked up. What they saw were squadrons of Gummieships, all black in colour, flying overhead. The whistle continued, and a large explosion engulfed the abandoned home, sending D flying, rolling along the ground as if he was a puppet. He snapped open his eyes, gasping for air. A quick look around showed no signs of either of his teammates, and he wearily got up from the ground, and ran for the nearest haven from the bombing runs now being made across the town. By using the pauses in between the bombing runs, he dashed in and out of cover, in an effort to locate the other two. While searching, he came across another person. He found him lazily leaning against an alley. All he said was “There you are…” giving an almost friendly smile. D just assumed he was a traveler who managed to stumble his way into it, though what he said puzzled him. So he decided to avoid questioning him. At least, not until they got somewhere safe. They both proceeded to search for the others, the other man not seeming to mind much. After he finally giving up looking, D found himself back in a safe zone, looking back at the man. “We should head to the sewers, it should be much safer. You know the closest entrance?” Last edited by Ð; 10/29/07 at 04:46 AM. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Raeneth leaned back gently against the wall of a nearby alley that broke off from the main road through the town of Pludo, his arms aching from carrying around the dead weight he had just taken care of. He pulled back the pale blue sleeve of his shirt, as if checking the time, but finding no watch attached to his wrist, he glanced towards the heavens as the jet black ships began to roll in overhead. He shut his jade eyes and mouthed the sound of an explosion as the first bomb hit. The ground beneath his leather boots quaked gently from the force of the explosion, which made his mouth twist into a slick grin. The second hit made him almost lose his footing, but he was able to catch himself in time. The bombardment continued, and slowly the smile left his lips. I was told he would be here... was I lied to again? He sighed and was about to move from his spot when a tussle of purple hair rushed past the entrance to his alley. The grin swept back across his features, "Ah, there you are!" He spoke in a silky, carefree tone. He pulled himself from the alley wall and decided to join the boy in searching for his two comrades that were lost in the explosion. Raeneth decided to humor him and helped him search for the others. When finally it seemed the boy was tired of looking, he asked Raeneth if he knew the entrance to the sewer system. Another shell exploded violently just over Raeneth's shoulder. Tch, they're firing a little bit too close... He turned his attention back to the boy, "The sewer? Man, I'm not really interested in dealing with that kind of muck." He held his right hand up and concentrated his thoughts, knowing that they'd reach the right person in time. He snapped his forefinger and thumb together loudly as the rest of the world skidded to a halt. The boy looked confused. "So, you're the D I've heard so much about. I must say, you're a lot shrimpier than they made you sound. I can't believe you have so much darkness inside that little body of yours, but whatever. Look, I've got a proposition for you. If you hear me out, nothing bad will happen to those two other Disney rejects you were paling around with. If you don't... well... no promises." He folded his arms casually at his chest and grinned, "So... what do you say?" |

| Automatic Orangutang | D’s stomach lurched, as if the thread of time had been stopped. He quickly looked around, trying to find the cause of the disturbance. Finding what used to be Gummieships piercing through the air at high speeds, had now stopped to a dead still in mid air, not even moving. The man’s words had barely reached his ears, in his moment of confusion, and he quickly snapped his attention back to him. “Shrim… Wait, what?!” In what seemed like a single fluid movement, D turned around to face the man, reaching behind his back, reaching for his blade, but to no avail, discovering that he had left in the building back when it was bombed. Growling loudly, he pulled his arms back, drawing his claws, in a combat position, eyeing the man with a flare in his eyes. “… How do you know my name?” |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Raeneth laughed quietly and studied the hardened expression of the boy standing in front of him. "Your name? I'm no mind reader. I was simply commenting about what you are. They call you 'D' don't they? I'm sure you of all people know what it stands for." He showed the boy his empty hands, and turned them over, "Look, see, I'm unarmed. If I wanted a fight, don't you think I would have brought something with which to defend myself?" Raeneth lowered his slender arms back to his sides and put them on his hips, "Now then, I left you with a question you basically couldn't say no to. Shall I explain the terms now, or do you render your comrades lives forfeit?" D settled down slightly and retracted his claws only slightly. Raeneth took this to mean that he was understood. "Excellent. Now you see, I'm a member of... well, let's call it a club. This club is made up of a slew of people just like me. We're kind of a big deal. We're famous, you could say. We have strong and smart people coming from all around this wonderful planet, and, lucky you, we want you to be a member." Annunciating his last point, Raeneth pointed a finger right in D's face. He could tell D was confused. "Yeah, I know. You're speechless. I don't blame you. I almost was when I was approached to join as well, but I digress. Basically, all you have to do is say yes to our proposal, and I'll make sure that your little Disney friends are safe from all harm. I don't just mean these two goofs you brought along with you here, either. We have some powerful allies... the kind that may even be able to turn the tides of war. You know what, I can tell this is coming as something of a shock to you. I'm such a nice guy, that I'm going to let you mull this over." Slowly Raeneth turned the pointed finger in D's face upright, and extended two other fingers to join them. "Three days. That's when we'll see each other again. I expect an answer then. If yes, you'll be whisked away with me, and if you say no..." He paused for a moment for dramatic effect, God... I LOVE this job, he thought with a devious grin. "Well, we'll burn that bridge when we come to it. Now then, number 41, I'll bid you a fond farewell... all I ask of you is to wake up." ~The last two words resonated in D's brain, causing him to collapse. His memory of everything that had just occurred would feel like a dream when he woke up, but he would remember it all. Alas, to the best of D's ability, he will not be able to recall Raeneth's face. D wakes up in the middle of a grassy field next to Igshar and Reverse with only the faint urging to make a decision in three days time.~ Last edited by Raeneth; 10/29/07 at 06:24 AM. |

| Twilight Knight | Coming back from a failed search expedition, the team walked towards town. Axel held his cape towards his right arm, keeping his gauntlet from the other's eyes. "I still don't know these people enough to reveal this....Just a little longer, I'll let you out soon" he thought. A soldier put his hand on Axel's shoulder, causing him to turn around as if to hit him. "Hey take it easy. We'll find the king soon." the soldier told Axel. "Thanks. Sorry, I'm a little cautious when people come from behind. Don't take it personal." With that he kept walking. Staring at the ground as his feet brushed against the grass, he remembered how he joined the team. He had completed a tough mission for the guild and heard about what happened to the King. Knowing a great reward would be paid for his help, Axel joined to get some money for his stepdad. In the midst of his thoughts, Axel was interrupted by the sounds of bombs. From the horizon, smoke filled the sky from the town of Pludo. "Hey everyone! Something is going on at the town" he yelled. "I don't like the looks of this" he thought. |

| Keyblade Wielder | We've been walking for hours now and I still havn't found anything about me and what's with that guy.looking towards axelHe keeps his hand under that cape of his...i wonder what he's trying to hide.Suddenly he smelt some thing burning. "Hey everyone! Something is going on at the town" Axel yelled. "I don't like the looks of this" Me neither Without a second thought Ryuu started rushing towards the ruins of Pludo. "Hey wait..." was all he heard from axel as he rushed towards the town.I've got to find something about my past. Hopefully this place has something to do with it. Hopefully I can find Ig, D, and reverse too. As he got to the ruins of Pludo the smell became even more putrid. He stared in aw at the ruins that were once Pludo. He noticed the sudden silence and looked up to notice the bombers gone. "Whats going on here." |

| Automatic Orangutang | Far away from the chaos that was occurring, three comrades lay sleeping peacefully in a grassy plain, under the moonlight. No explosions could be heard here, no Gummieships could be seen, and not even a single building was located in a 3-mile radius. An Owl hooted nearby, overlooking the sleeping trio, the crickets singing their nightly tune. D opened his eyes slowly. The moon shone brightly in the sky, and he slowly got up. For some reason, his muscles felt weary, as if he had just woken up from a long sleep after working a long day. He slowly stretched, easing out the tension in his body. After feeling comfortable, he turned around slowly, taking in everything around him. He was standing on a large grassy plain, surrounded by a thick forest, with mountains overlooking to the north. On the ground, next to him, were Igshar and Reverse, both peacefully sleeping on the grass, Igshar snoring rather loudly. D would have laughed, if it were not for the voice. “Dee.” He snapped his attention upward. He had heard that voice before. It was so very familiar, almost like it was on the tip of his tongue. He could remember talking to that voice, in a clearing. Didn’t he? “Over here!” He looked around; trying to find whomever was speaking to him. But he couldn’t see him. Frowning in frustration, he spoke back. “Where? Who are you?” “This way!” The bushes from a tree shook violently from the forest to his left, and birds scattered from it, D’s attention quickly turning to that, his body jumping to face the same direction. He know he didn’t want to follow that voice; but, yet, he knew he had to follow it. Looking back at his friends, he made sure that they were all right. After confirming that they would be okay by themselves, he got up, and walked out of the plane, and into the clearing. For some reason, the distance between them and the forest was much shorter then it first appeared. Walking for what seemed for a half an hour, he stopped, and took a look at his surroundings. Nothing stirred at all, except for the occasion flapping of wings, or a cricket. “Don’t stop.” The voice was coming from a different direction this time. It was coming from the left from where he stood. He knew it was probably better to go back, but yet; he still followed, as if curiosity alone was driving him foreword, urging him to discover something that he had lost. He felt something like a puppet, his own movements not belonging to himself, but he dared not disobey it. As he continued foreword, he came into a small clearing, and again he stopped to look around. A small rabbit peaked from it den, investigating the new presence near its domain, before quickly popping back inside its den. A tree branch shaking from his right again captured D’s attention, and he quickly turned to face it, his claws partially drawn, ready to face any threat. A large Owl had taken flight, causing the flimsy branch to shake. Even more curious, was his blade that hung by a loose thread by it. Hanging from the blade itself, was a large black cloak. Checking behind his back, as if to make sure that his blade was indeed gone. It was as he expected; the blade was gone, and for some reason, this brought calm into his heart, causing him to sigh with relief. Looking back up, he carefully reached for the cloak and blade, pulling them down from the tree. He quickly buckled the blade back into its sheath; he turned his attention to the black cloak, unsure of what to do with it. Almost as if on cue, the sky thundered above, and rain began to fall lightly. Looking overhead, he found himself angry, though he was unsure why he was so. Scrunching his face, he took the cloak, and put it on, finding it fit rather snugly, pulling back the hood to keep his face dry. He almost immediately questioned why he just put it on. It wasn’t even his. Wouldn’t the owner need it? But why would the owner leave a cloak with his blade? It made no sense. I'm such a nice guy, that I'm going to let you mull this over." "Three days. That's when we'll see each other again. I expect an answer then. If yes, you'll be whisked away with me, and if you say no..." "Well, we'll burn that bridge when we come to it. Now then, number 41, I'll bid you a fond farewell... all I ask of you is to wake up." D’s eyes flared wildly, as his fangs and claws were drawn completely, and he snarled loudly, as he claws into the tree wildly, before finally stopping, and looking around madly. “Where are you?! I know you’re there!” Silence. “Answer me!” He screamed as loud as he could, but he still got no answer, leaving him alone in silence. A note fell from a pocket in the cloak, and he stared down at it silently, before picking it up, and unfolding it. “Three Days.” |

| Warrior of Darkness | Reverse suddenly woke up. He noticed that D was gone. He hurriedly woke Igshar up and told him that they should split up to find D. While Igshar was searching the surroundings, Reverse went to the forest and searched there. After an hour of searching, he saw D in a clearing. He noticed that something happened with D and hid close to the clearing but far enough to not be spotted. |

| Keyblade Wielder | Seeing how the rest of the rescue team was behind some Ryuu decided to search the city. Alway having his katanas at the ready he proceeded to search the city. "There isn't a single person in here. Something not right" After a while of searching he put down his gaurd sure that there wasn't anything here. As he searched the ruins the only thing he could find was ash and rubble. Since he was sure he wasnt going to find anything he started to head back to the entrance of the city when he saw what looked like a picture. He picked it up and looked closely at it. Suddenly his head begain to hurt. He droped the picture and grabed his head. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" was the last thing Ryuu yelled before fainting. Last edited by dragoon979; 10/30/07 at 01:19 AM. |

| Twilight Knight | "Wait!" but it was too late. Ryuu already got ahead. "Dammit, we should go as a group so we don't get surrounded." Axel reached behind him and pulled out his swallow, Thanatos. As his hands held the grip, the blades dispersed from their confines. Holding it with one hand, Axel charged towards the city. "Everybody keep up!" he shouted. Shortly after entering the city, he heard someone scream. "The scream...sounded like.....no!" Axel ran quickly towards the scream. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | The search group walked slowly, and disappointed at themselves because of their failure. Then Axel pulled out his swallow out of nowhere, and charged towards the city at a magnificent pace, shouting, "Everybody keep up!" Startled by this, Aryoul quickly snapped out of daydreaming about finding the king(and his sister), and tagged along behind the rest of the group, struggling to keep up. After entering the city, a huge scream was emerged from deeper in. Axel led the search group deeper towards the city, but as Aryoul picked up his speed, he dropped his katana thumping on the ground. "Oh shi---. Hey! Wait up!" Aryoul dispersed from his mouth, as he turned around and bent down to pick up the shivering green katana. Then turning around, he realized everyone had left, leaving him there by himself. Not really caring, Aryoul slowly walked into the city(a different direction from the others), looking around for some some weapons lying around, or anything he found cool. Disbanding from the group, Aryoul headed into some ruins, and there was Ryuu, lying on the ground. -this ish still my first one, so please tell meh if i need to change anything, or if doesn't fit right >_____<;- Last edited by ihavaznpride; 10/29/07 at 11:53 PM. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | The heartless ambush was about to set fire as Hiroki and the others were about to draw there weapons. "Looks like the heartless would like to play." The group was out numbered, but they were not struggling. Gun fire and sword clashing was heard in the ruins of Pludo with many more heartless coming the groups ways and joining the battle."Persistent bunch of heartless eh?." At last the group retreated from the intense battle in order to regroup."Man why did we have to retreat it was starting to get fun." Everyone stared at Hiroki...as the group begins to relax and treat wounds for a short period of time before another ambush would happen. The group was finished with their treated wounds. They decided to head back and look for Aryoul and Ryuu before they head farther in the ruins. |

| Twilight Knight | Igshar was sleeping peacefully with no want to wake from his slumber until he was shaken by Reverse who was screaming things at him too fast for him to understand. He rose to his feet and looked slowly around, stretching widely. Reverse ran off towards a forest, and D was nowhere to be seen. "Am I supposed to be doing something?" he spoke to no one in particular, scratching his head quizzically. He slid his hands down onto his hips "Ah, well. I guess I'll have a look around then." He looked out upon the plains and felt a sense of familiarity with them. He turned around and saw the forest where Reverse had run just moments before. What's taking him so long? he thought. He ran towards the forest, spear bobbing behind him, wondering how they got here. ((OOC: Sorry about that, was in the middle of writing and I had to run out >_<)) |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Standing atop a large building in the center of Pludo - the only structure still standing after the bombardment despite a large chunk take from the it's side - Raeneth watched a new set of adventurers enter the town. He folded his arms at his chest and sighed as he watched a few of them do battle with a handful of random heartless that showed up, drawn to destruction. "Strange, I wonder why heartless are showing up here... usually they're drawn to stronger hearts than what these kids have." Raeneth spoke to no one in particular. "Where did you leave the D?" A soft voice spoke from Raeneth's side. He didn't seem startled by this bodiless voice beckoning him. "Oh, I left him and those other two a little ways south of the town near that forest." The voice chuckled coldly, "I wonder if he found the props I laid out for him..." Raeneth sighed, "Why do you have to interfere? This is my job, you know." A small glob of pitch black matter swirled around and grew larger by the second just next to Raeneth. He still didn't bat an eye at these strange happenings. He was much more intent on watching the group below fend off the pathetic heartless infestation. A black cloaked figure stepped through the swirling darkness and stood next to Raeneth. "I like having fun too, ya know." the hooded figure spoke. Raeneth didn't answer, he just tugged gently on his gloves. They were a little too big for his hands. "Who are they?" The figure continued, gesturing towards the Rescue Squad. "No clue. More Disney rejects. They're probably searching for the D. They'll probably find him soon." "You didn't apprehend him when you had the chance?" Raeneth shook his head, "Naw, it's no fun to do stuff like that. I'd rather him make the choice to join us on his own." "What if he chooses not to?" "Honestly, I haven't thought that far ahead just yet." Raeneth conceded, glancing beneath the dark hood of the man next to him. "What if he returns to Disney? You know you can't just walk in there..." Raneth's expression hardened, "Then I won't let him return to Disney." "Very well..." The man stepped backwards into the silent swirling darkness and vanished from sight. Raeneth held his right arm out to the side limply and within moments a large sword appeared in his hand. The familiar weight made he stagger slightly. He recovered effortlessly and latched the massive sword into the straps that held it to his person. The heartless below had gone, and the sun was beginning to peak over the distant horizon. "Two more days." Raeneth said, sighing as he returned his gaze to the scurrying figures below. "Maybe I should kill some time..." He said with a grin. He turned over this prospect in his head, but eventually decided against it. He would be a silent observer for now. |
