Rep Power: 0 ![]() | "I have the stangest feeling that I know what you mean by convince." said Altoran as he sheathed his gunblade. But if they're all as strong as him....we might be in trouble thought Altoran. He looked down at Sotrec, who was still unconscious. He walked over and picked him up. "I guess we can't leave him here." said Altoran," He might be useful if we run into more of those guys." Altoran looked around him. Such a bizarre place he thought to himself. |

| Licks the Rapper | Sotrec was being pulled up. No, that wasn't it. He was propping himself up, up on onto his sword. The weight was unfamilar, and the words around moreso. Bushido, Samurai, he knew none of it. That can't be right, this was his life. Honor and Duty, as it'd always been. By shear instinct Sotrec parried the next blow of his opponent. His tongue was garbled, echoeing twice in Sotrec's ears. No, they weren't his, these were the old and the new. Sotrec swung down and aimed at the other's neck. He coughed as he was shortly after run through. Again. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Jailtin stepped into the darkened palace watching every corner of the building intently. He wasn't so much afraid as cautious. Caution hadn't been what had caused him to survive so long. But it saved him a lot of pain and bother. Raem looked at Jailtin as his eyes scanned the room. He rolled his eyes. The guy was pretty damned cautious for an immortal. under the circumstances he understood though. These things would be fun to deal with even assuming that they wouldn't be able to kill you. Kristine stepped out of the darkened realm. There was a small baby boy in her arms. She had spent the equivilant of nine months in the darkness in order to get back in time to help the Chosen. It had damn well better be worth it. |

| A Synonym for Acquiesce | Stavros felt a new presence. His eyes swept the columns, shadows could hide a blade aimed for blood. This place was fairly big, the corpse still lay near the entrance. Good thing it's dead. Whatever it was. He heard Jailtin's soft footsteps. "Where do you suppose we go now? Deeper inside of this place?" He said, without looking back. His eyes fell on the shadows again, something didn't feel right. Could it be the presence? He couldn't quite let his guard down, not yet, not ever. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Altoran walked over towards Kristine and stared at the baby in her arms. His smile faded as he looked from her to the boy. He began to shake his head slowly. "Its good that you're back..." said Altoran," But this is no place for a baby." Altoran raised his hand to his temple. Is that......Dominic's son? he thought. Maverick eyed the baby. He hated small children. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | The baby eyed Maverick. It hated stupid people. The baby had a strange awareness for it's age and knew that Maverick was the weakest and slowest of them all. It glared Kristine hushed the baby with a look of concern on her face. "What we're doing is important. . ." she said. Sounding for the first time in her life as if she was making excuses. "I couldn't afford to be pregnant." Jailtin looked at Stavros. "We wait." Jailtin could only assume that there was danger here. He could only assume that they would all go through Hell before they left his home world. But Jailtin had a lot of experience. He only assumed what other "knew" |

| A Synonym for Acquiesce | Stavros was growing impatient, "Haven't we waited enough? What are we waiting for, exactly? A calling card from Chaos? A knife at our throats? Shouldn't we try to get the jump on them, instead of what ALWAYS happens?" His tone of voice was growing ever larger. "Aren't you tired of the same thing, over and over. We barely ever come ahead, and when we do it's slim. You could barely even CALL it a 'win'." He didn't even remember who he was yelling at, it didn't even matter, he needed to vent. |

| Licks the Rapper | The battle was eternal. The outcome was far from obvious. Worlds shattered, taking any memory with them. No one physcial realm could contain it. On one knee, he spat out what little blood hadn't already stained every piece of his clothing. Shorter than reaction, the sky shattered against his cheek. The sound filled his ears and rattled his brain. He readied for another blow, hoping this one would finally kill him and send him to another, less bleek, reality. His jaw broke, only enough for chronic pain. "This isn't a choice, boy." A kick sent him to the ground, the sea, and the spaces inbetween. How he had survived this long, he didn't know. "This is what you were created for." Another kick turned him over. "This what I was created for. "You can't give up on it all now." Creation was beginning to annoy and sadden him. Destiny and it never seemed to stray far apart. The elements curved back for one more blow. Sotrec caught it short in his now blackened hand. "I never wanted it in the first place." "Well it's all too late for that now." If you've ever seen the universe explode, you'll know exactly how it looks when it snaps back. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Sotrec was back in his body now, he knew that. What he didn't know was what it was doing here. The place gave any appearence of Hell, the smell being a dead giveaway. The air was thick and made the skin oily. Everything was black and smoldered in the wind. Perhaps something had died here, perhaps with their children closeby. It wasn't Hell, because he felt confused rather than in horrendous pain. And nothing had died here, because this how the world had always been. But this was definately not what the world should be. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Altoran put a hand on Stavros's shoulder. "Nows not the time to be yelling at eachother." said Altoran firmly," I agree that we should do something more than wait, but what do you want us to do?" Altoran took a deep breath. "If we attack them, we'll just end up being beaten..........badly." said Altoran," I have a feeling the one I just killed was considerably weaker than the others." Altoran looked to Jailtin for support. |

| A Synonym for Acquiesce | Stavros looked back at Altoran, then to Jailen, "I'm no leader, I've never tried to be, never wanted to. But. . .what I think we should do is maybe find out where they are, or even who they are. We know so little, so anything is good." he said as he waited for anyone's response. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | "All I know...." said Altoran," Is that I almost had to resort to using Dark Altoran." Altoran looked at the rest of the chosen. "We aren't ready for them." said Altoran," Their powers outrank even the demons." Altoran closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Our only chance would be all of us against one of them." said Altoran," But we seem to have serious problems working together." Altoran cracke his knuckles and then his neck. "Do you understand what I'm trying to say?" asked Altoran," Teamwork is what will bring them down." "I'm afraid that won't be enough." said a voice from behind. The source of the voice was none other than Demetrius. Altoran immediantly drew his gunblade. Demetrius held up his hands. "You have no idea what these "Chaos beings" can do." said Demetrius calmly," You would probably get yourselves killed even with teamwork." Altoran teleported behind Demetrius and held his blade up to his throat. "I left you dead in the shadow-verse." said Altoran," I don't care how or why you came back.....but I do know how you'll die next." Demetrius sighed and remained calm. "I realize that you people don't trust me." said Demetrius," But I would like to inform you that I have lost my powers." Altoran didn't move. "I have come to aid you in your fight against the chaos." said Demetrius," Think about it.....without my powers I can do you no harm." Altoran kept still.....again. "Why do you want to help us?" asked Altoran," What would you gain out of this?" Demetrius stayed calm and his breathing remained normal. "I have no power of my own." said Demetrius," My life seems rather meaningless as a normal man. I just want to do something for the universe that I have previously worked so hard to corrupt." Altoran looked to other chosen. "What do you guys think?" asked Altoran," I don't trust him." He waited for the rest of the chosen. |
