[Chosen Again]

"We know little of evil here." The man said evenly. His voice had a strange no nonsense tone as if he was willing to fight Altoran for suggesting that the place may be the home of evil. "So. . .I suggest you leave. My friends aren't likely to be happy when they see what you've done to the door." he had a sincerity in his voice that was shocking. "And many of them are hardly as even tempered as I."

[Tragic Fall]

"Leave? But we just got here." said Altoran," Who are your friends? I can put the door back if you want me to." Altoran sounded clueless to the danger in the room. His voice was sincere in everything he said. Altoran figured that there wasn't much the old man could do to him.

"Seriously......I did knock first." said Altoran," I din't mean that this place was evil......I was just wondering if you knew about any evil place."

Maverick rolled his eyes and drew his sword. Altoran's gonna get his ass kicked thought Maverick.

[Chosen Again]

"I'm warning you for this last time sir. If you wish to keep your life then you should consider leaving this place." There was sudden menace in his voice and his eyes flashed dangerously. His features seemed to distort a bit as his eyes became more slanted. The man threw off his cloak to reveal his bare chest. Despite his age muscles rippled across his body. His right hand had abandoned all human shape it was in the form of a stinger. " Perhaps you should leave,"

[Tragic Fall]

"Ew........thats interesting." said Altoran," But I'm not leaving till I get some answers....even if I have to force them out of you." Altoran grinned as his shadow stood up behind him. The shadow shifted into two swords and Altoran took hold of them.

"So I'm going to ask you one last time sir." said Altoran," Whats the deal with this place." Altoran's eyes suddenly took on a more serious look.

[Stavros]

Stavros sighed, He's really good at pissing people off, isn't he?

He looked at the others and then back to Altoran, "If it cannot be helped. . ." Stavros took an offensive stance, to the best of his knowledge. He kept his hand on his hilt and bent down slightly, looking around without moving for any oncoming attackers. Who are these 'friends' he's been talking about? Did he mean those? He thought at the scorpions. He shook his head slightly, Focus!

[Chosen Again]

Several robed figures stepped out from the shadows behind the man. They were whispering among themselves, and they seemed to have come to a consensus about killing the intruders. One of them began to laugh.

The man who had first stepped forward looked behind him. "I'll leave you Orpheus." He smiled menacingly and sank back into the shadows. All but the laughing man followed him. The laughing man stepped forward his laugh not wavering.

[Tragic Fall]

A shadow in the shape of Altoran ran at the laughing man and tried to land a kick to the man's face. Altoran watched as the shadow stood in front of the laughing man. The shadow continued to try to punch and kick the man.

"Lets see if your still laughing after that shadow is done with you..." said Altoran as he stayed back while the shadow did the fighting.

(( Oh hey, here I am, forgetting that I posted before. Disregard the former one, then. ))

"That's it. I can't possibly take this anymore," said Lycian as she stood atop a great spiraled building in the midst of the newly renewed Alahana. Of course, it was still on the road to recovery, but it no longer needed her. That is, it didn't for the time being.

She took a step forward ... onto nothing at all, but air, and fell to what could only be her death ... that is, to someone who knew next to nothing about the girl. Mere milliseconds before she would have hit the ground, Lycian teleported, using mere recollections and subconcious signals she sensed from her friends' whereabouts. I may have to leave them again sometime ... she thought as whisps of both black and silver and white engulfed her. But at least I can be with them for a time, however small it may be.

Traveling through worlds and planes at speeds not earthly, Lycian located the Chosen's position easily enough. Before physically manifesting herself, however, she looked upon the scene in front of her.

There were the Chosen, standing in an area with a laughing man. Briefly, Lycian got a glimpse of a number of men disappearing into dark shadows. Was one of them ...

She drew her attention back to the Chosen and the laughing man, and then chose to manifest herself.

"Hello," she said in a melodic voice. "I'm back."

[Tragic Fall]

(Perhaps you should mention the stinger guy being gone next time. I wasn't aware that he was one of the "robed people")
Altoran raised a hand and halted the shadow's ineffective attack. He turned and saw Lycian standing there. He hold up his hands as if to shield himself from an attack.

"Lycian.....I don't want to fight you.....again." said Altoran," Maybe we can just you know......be lovers that......don't fight." Altoran hoped that she had returned to her normal personality as he had.

[Chosen Again]

The man laughed louder. He waved his hand and the shadow dissappeared. "This is sweet." he said speaking the first words that the Chosen would hear from him. He was walking steadily toward Lycian and Altoran. "And I wish you the best of luck" He stopped laughing while he was talking but a giggle escaped him after "luck" and a large scorpion tail flew from the back of his cloak. Striking at Lycian

Lycian Wolfe looked at Altoran. "You jump to conclusions far too easily," she said. She had known he had returned from his damnation to Hell easily enough. Of course, if it were that easy to escape death so many times for someone like Altoran, it was far easier for someone of Dante's power. This worried Lycian for obvious reasons, but she was aware that it was neccesary to concentrate on the present.

Especially when the laughing man striked at her with a long scorpion tail. With her notorious lightning reflexes, Lycian whipped out her hand, and from it formed a silver chain which wrapped itself around the man's tail. But it did more than just that. After wrapping itself around the stinger numerous times, the chain ( which continued to grow out of Lycian's palm ) proceeded to embede itself over and over again through the flesh of the man's tail, for this chain was not of earthly material at all.

Now she had him on what might as well have been a leash, but a smile did not grace the girl's lips. After facing death and destruction so much at Alahana, Lycian Wolfe no longer favoured murder and violence that much. But she was protecting those who she loved nearly more than herself. Murder had become an option once more.

[Tragic Fall]

Altoran was about to send a shadow to protect Lycian when she protected her self just as easily. Altoran studied the situation. It looks like all he has is a tail.....better check for other powers before attack him myself thought Altoran.

"Nice block, Lycian." said Altoran with a smile. He then regained his serious look. His shadow swords turned back into his regular shadow. The shadow ran up to the "laughing man" and put him in a strong hold. If Lycian has hold of his tail...then he'll have to break out some other way thought Altoran Lets see what he does now...

[Chosen Again]

The man laughed again and procured two more tails from under his cloak. He whirled around smacking Altoran off of his back then striking at him with the two tails that weren't tied up. "This'll be lots of fun." he laughed louder.

[Miss Murder]

"You'll have to do far better than that," Lycian said, as two more chains extending from her same palm and proceeded to do the same actions as their original. Then the three chains wrapped around and around each other, binding the man's three tails together, until they formed a sharp spike at their tips. All of this took a matter of seconds, before the spike turned itself it midair, its point pointing directly at the back of the man's head.

With a glimmer of light in Lycian Wolfe's eyes, the spike shot straight toward his head. Think fast.
