Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() | shadow on the sun Just a note before we get into this: if you don't have any idea of what to post, the Fire Nation is on its way to the Northern Water Tribe to finally conquer it, but the Water Tribe knows nothing about this. Bad for them, huh? PLEASE pick a place around there, whether in a Fire Nation ship or in the Water Tribe itself. You can go somewhere else later, but this is a huge world and you can't be in the Earth Kingdom or in the Southern Water Tribe if you want to stay active. Okies, let's start this thing! ------------- "Ahhhh! So lateeeee!" This was pretty typical. Wake up late and start running through the streets, trying not to fall on your face while trying to get to class. This always happened when she was going to waterbending class. Always! The brown-haired girl took off, trying not to slip on the snowy streets and fall into a river of freezing water. This was pretty tedious... but she made it! Just outside of the Chief Temple, where class was held for waterbenders-in-training. This time, however, was strange. Nobody was there. Weird... this place was normally packed with people! Yushui glanced about, looking rather confused. She ended up, after a few moments, walking off towards a nearby pool of water. Just standing over it, staring at it as it sat there aimlessly. Boring. The tomboy lifted up her hands, focusing, and moved them slowly. The water only rippled just a bit and she let out a grumble of frustration. "Can't even pick up the stupid water..." she said inbetween many grumbles. Frustration was getting to her and it was really annoying... |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | ------------------------------------ Standing atop of the lead Fire Nation ship, Dou looked to both sides of him, taking in every ship of the armada that was here to destroy the northern Water Tribe. Turning around as the sun started to set, Dou began to climb down the ladder, which brought him into the bridge of the large war ship. "How much longer will it be, until we arrive at the North Pole?" Dou asked the captain of the ship, who was busy plotting the route on the map. Standing up, the captain, as well as anyone, looked small compared to Dou. "We are moving quite quickly, we should be there by sunrise, Sir!" replied the captain, before he turned back to the map. "Fine then!" Dou simply said to the captain, as he walked towards the door to the bridge, and left. Walking through the metal corridors of the ship, Dou soon found himself out on the main deck, and slowly made his way to the very edge of the deck, allowing him to look out towards the sea. Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Most people didn't know why Uji looked like, which worked to his advantage. Someone like him, who was an outlaw practicing a seemingly forbidden aspect of firebending was only able to disguise himself so far. If he was asked to engage in combat he was done for. That's why he planned to ditch the ship and these stupid fire nation uniforms on the next place they port. Of course he wasn't completely sure of their destination, and to ask would just arise suspicion. So it was a surprise! Hopefully not an unpleasant one. He hopped up to his feet after sitting in his room for about two hours. He looked around, his burgundy eyes looking out of the peep hole on the metallic door. He opened it and stepped out into the hall looking as natural as it was possible to look. However, he never went outside his room without a helmet or mask on. He walked out all the way until he got to the outside of the ship. He walked forward and noticed the cold looking water and the large chunks of ice starting to appear in the water. He knew where they were... |

| Twilight Knight | Crouching low with a crappy looking fishing rod, which might I add is nothing more than a staff this half dead young man bought with a line attached to the tip, without a single catch in hours can get disgustingly boring to the average joe. This didn't really bother Kuai much suprisingly because his patients was at an all time high today. Everything went pretty well for his *And his monkeys'* travels during the past week. The meals have been cheap, the weather was suitable where ever he went and he just bought a staff for a nice price! "What could possibly go wrong today?" Kuai thought back when he spoke those words from earlier on. Later on right after buying the staff, him and his furry companion trudged through the thick snow torwards the boats to catch a one way trip to an island south of their current location but much to Kuais chagrin, the boats weren't up and running for some odd reason. And the worst part about it was that kuai heard rumors from two elderly men that there was going to be a local tournament held at the island he was headed for and was set to start a few hours from then. All of the excitement? Down the drain after the anxious youth found out that the boats weren't up and running. Just thinking about it made him irritated at knowing that hes stuck on this frozen wonderland while he could be fighting powerful opponents! Kuai then pulled his staff torwards himself and un did the line at the end, tossing it behind him and setting the staff next to Wukong so he could hold on to it. He then clenched his teeth and irritatingly scratched his head with both hands. "Ya' know what Wukong? This really bites....after all of that good luck we were having too." He let out a long sigh and looked at his own reflection in the water with a dull, bored look in his eyes. |

| Prince of a lost kingdom | A lone ship had just arrived to the northern water tribe, the ship had been filled with young refuge's that were coming there to stay. The ship had docked and most of the people there had made there way out of the ship but one person was still inside. Ryu was that one person, he had thought about why someone like him would come to this place even but he always got his answer when he looked at his forearms "Only place they would never go" Ryu said to himself as he stood up and walked off of the boat. As the teen walked out of the boat he was offered a coat by the captain of the ship but Ryu had just turned him down, even though he was only wearing a brown cloak over his sleeveless tunic and shirt he had been pretty warm "being able to control your body heat came in use when you find your self in a place like this" is what Ryu thought inside his head as he walked the water tribe. Ryu had come to this land of ice just to find a place to stay for a little while before he went back on the move again, he had met a water tribe man named Taiyou awhile ago when he had been in the Omashu and Ryu had helped him earn enough money to get back to the northern water tribe since he had lost his gabling. After Ryu had helped Taiyou the man promised him if he ever needed something just come to the water tribe. Ryu ran a hand threw his hair as he just realized something “Were the hell dose this guy live?!” Ryu said to himself. |

| Right back at ya! | One month. That's how long the Earthbender had to endure the harsh cold of the Northern Water Temple. "One month....and six days. This is hell....if it froze over, shot out pools of water, and everyone was forced to wear those ridiculous getups." Rai said, referring to the water nation's clothing. He laid back on his bed. An old women who had been managing a small hotel had a few problems with the building. It had begun falling about after it's years of moving around. The building wasn't like the ice made buildings around the city. This old women had been traveling with this small house, going from nation to nation, treating travelers like herself to a home. But with it falling apart, the "home" couldn't do it's job. So Rai, the kind hearted, loving person that he is, used his Earthbending to put it back together. "Too easy. I fix an old lady's home, and I get to stay for free." Rai sighed with ease. The Earthbender sat up in the bed once more. "I can't sleep." He said to himself. "Something doesn't seem right, something's out of place." He said, looking around, and stood up. "Oh! There!" He yelled, pointing at the desk in his room. "The old women left me cookies!" He said, running over to them. "Yummy!" He said with a smile and a funny face. Kaien stood at the head of his ship, eagerly waiting their arrival to the Northern water tribe. "Isn't this exciting!?" He yelled to the people on his ship. They all looked up at him, groaned, and continued with their work. "I said...ISN'T THIS EXCITING!?" He yelled, stomping his right foot on the ground, and both of his hands became engulfed in fire, and the stomp form his foot blasted a hole through a nearby glacier. "Yes sir!" They all yelled in unison. "Good." Rai said with a smile. The Fire Bender began walking towards the end of his ship. "You know, father entrusted you with his ship this time around. I wouldn't try burning it down to quickly." Rai looked over at the man who spoke. "I know big brother. But I just get to excited!" He said with enthusiasm. "I can't help it." Rai looked at the older man, who sat on a chair. "Well try not to. I'd hate to have to tell father how you burned down his prized boat." The man said. "But I wouldn't mind burning it down myself. Sometimes I think he loves this thing more than us." Rai nodded. He knew it was true, but then again, when your the leader of the militia, you have to have something you love more than anything else. Rai sighed. "All of this anticipation is unbearable. I can't wait until we get there and melt the ice of those Water Nation scum. And have you seem their clothes? What the hell?" Rai said curiously. "Look at us, we're so stylish, but they....bleh!" He said, sitting in a chair next to his brother. "Be patient Rai, we'll be their soon." |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Shio's boat had just arrived at the Northern Water Tribe and it had refugee's and a guy that looked like he was an Earthbender or at least was part of the Earth Kingdom. He then was thinking if he had made the right choice comming here,he was told that if he was ever going to master Earthbending he had to travel the world and search for a trainer or a master. But to do that he had to give up his family and friends in Ba Sing Se.Also he didnt tell his parents he just left a note and left and all because he wanted to master Earthbending but he had no other choice and he was already here so there was no point in turning back.As he got off the boat a man held out a Water Nation Coat for him and for anyone else that needed one so he took one. "Now what to do?"He thought to himself. He then looked around and saw a store so he thought why not buy what he needs until he remembered he had no money. "Great no money what am I gonna do now for food and a place to stay?"He said out loud and then a man that had heard him came by."Hey kid you need money and I need someone to help me catch some fish for my place. So what do you say ill even let you stay at my place with my wife and me?"Shio then thought it was a pretty good deal so he thought why not."Ok im in."The man then gave Shio a net and where to fish and where to go when he was finished. |

| Twilight Knight | "BORED!!!" Hu sat on his back in his home, looking up at the ever still ceiling of his. He was stuck in this room for the time being, as his parents were speaking with the neighbors downstairs. It was a conversation he'd heard before. He was a bad influence on the children of the Tribe, he should be sent away from all others so he wouldn't cause trouble, same old same old. Thing was, he would leave this small Tribe in a heartbeat if it weren't for his parents. They insisted that he always stay, and simply try to change his ways. However, this was something he had no intention of doing. He finally sat up and put his ear to the door, listening slightly to the conversation downstairs. He could hearing yelling from the neighbors, mixed in with his parents trying to calm them down. He smiled as he ran to his deck, swiping his four jugs of water and placing them on his body. He looked out his window for a moment, than backed up slightly. He suddenly broke into a sprint and jumped out, quickly releasing the water from his jugs. He worked fast making the water into a giant slide for him, which worked fairly well, if not for the slight curve he made at the end of it. He was thrown slightly into the air, and was brought down hard by gravity. As he landed, he heard small clapping noises behind him. It was his best friends in the Tribe. About 10 or so younger kids had seen the spectacle, two had signs up with a score for him. He quickly stood and bowed, while retrieving more water from a nearby moat. "Thank you, thank you. For my next trick, I will get all a healthy snack of fish." The children looked at each other with excitement in their eyes as they ran after the taller child, wearing a bright smile on his face. Life could not get any better than this. They arrived at a spot that was only a little ways from the Tribe border. It overlooked the entire village, which was a beautiful sight to the children. To Hu, it looked like a giant playpen, where he'd lived all 19 years of his life. He coughed a bit and gathered the children's attention. He then pointed to the small lake nearby, which had frozen over slightly from the night before. He then began work on breaking the ice, using the water from his jugs as a whip. He made a quick hole, where they could see many fish swimming around in. He then made a quick motion to the other children, who were now all beside him in a line. They then simultaneously began to bend the water from the hole, lifting high into the air into a giant ball. If anyone was looking up at the moment, they would be greeted with the sight of a huge ball of water floating in mid-air. Hu nodded, as he added the final touches to the ball, making it shaped more like an iceberg. He then whistled loudly, causing the children to force the giant ball down. As it passed in front of Hu, he quickly turned whatever passed his face to ice. What sounded like an explosion echoed for miles around, followed by an almost mushroom shaped pillar of ice to dominate the sky. Hu started bending the water away from himself and the children, leaving only the fish to fall at their feet. He smiled as he watched his friends pick up the plentiful bounty, knowing unfortunately that the entire village had most likely heard that. He shrugged, knowing he'd face minimal punishment later. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() | It sounds like a boom or a slam. But with ice. Lots and lots of ice. Yushui jerked her gaze from the pool of water and took off running towards the source of the noise. What was that!? She saw a bunch of kids standing around, watching something. There was some guy there, too. As well as many fish and no sign that anything bad happened, except for a few little spots of water. Weird. Yushui picked up a random fish on the ground that one of the kids had missed, the poor thing wiggling aimlessly in a sad attempt to get back to the water. The tomboy picked it up, stared at it straight in those eyes, and walked towards the water. It was more than happy to escape her grasp and jump into the ocean, though she had already relinquished it just before it dove. Looking rather blank, she turned around and glanced at the whole thing. She spotted a guy who looked older than all of the kids, but didn't really say anything at all. Not even a word. Just looking around; simple as that. |

| Twilight Knight | Hu looked around at the bounty that had fallen from the sky for them. It was quite the catch, and he knew they'd have one heck of a snack here. As he looked at his friends to make sure that each of them had gotten something, he noticed someone unfamiliar to him. She was quite small, and seemed nothing more than a child, but her eyes told him she was slightly older. He smiled warmly as he walked up to her, curious as to why he hadn't noticed her in the group. "Hey there new girl! Don't think I've seen ya around here. You come to join us for a snack or just visiting?" He felt a small tug on his shirt as some of the children were looking at the girl, some with smiles, others with a curious look. He looked back and smiled at the children, all fo which were only slightly younger (or so he assumed) than this new girl. "Afterwards we were going to go sliding back down to the village. C'mon it'll be fun. Much better than standing around here." He smiled wildly as the other children were now more excited about going back down. He always had a knack for making them smile, which made him happy in return. Some of the children pointed to the girls white bang, tugging Hu's pants. "Wow! Look at that piece of hair! How does she do it Hu?" Hu laughed a bit and turned back to the new girl, hoping for a good anwser. |

| Prince of a lost kingdom | As the teen walked threw the village he had finely stopped at what looked to be Taiyou's house, his main clue was that there was the name Taiyou carved into the door. He knocked on the door and as soon as he did he was pulled into by Taiyou. "What the hell are you doing here!" he heard the older man scream but Ryu just barley paid attention and just threw off his clock to reveal a torn dragon tunic over his refuge cloths. "I' m here for a place to stay for awhile remember gabbler" Ryu said not bothering to use his name since he was tired from the boat ride but Taiyou still wouldn't let the teen rest "You can't man, people are going to realize sooner or later what you are! Hell your eyes are a big hint!" Taiyou said as he pointed to Ryu's golden eye's but the teen just smacked his hand away "I need a place to rest, I promise I'll leave in a day or two" Ryu said closing his eyes as he laid down on a near by couch. he heard that Taiyou was about to say something again but Ryu had just glared at him letting his eyes do the talking. "Fine kid but if anyone finds out who you are I'm not helping you" Taiyou said as he left the room for another. Ryu just took his hair out of a pony tail and let it come down with some of the bangs in his eyes, he was now sitting up and was looking at the un lit candles. with a blink of a eye Ryu had lit the candles with his fingers and now had decided if he wasn’t going to sleep he might as he meditate, even if he couldn't let the flames of the fire get to high it would still be good to focus for once. "You let them die!" Ryu was now hearing his mind talk to him in his head like he was crazy. "You let them all die! You killed them all!" his minds screamed "I didn't do nothing!" Ryu had screamed back in his head but he was only met with "That's the point you let everyone down, it's your fault!" his mind yelled back at him, Ryu was starting to loss his cool and it was visible the candle flames were beginning to rise and Ryu's body was now heating up. "It wasn’t my fault, I tried to save them" Ryu pleaded with his mind, it always felt like this and he always knew what would come next "trying wasn’t good enough. Your brother learned that the hard way did' t he killer?!" his mind asked but that was the breaking point for Ryu. "Enough!!!" Ryu yelled opening his eyes just in time to see that while he was arguing he had burnt the ground around him and the candles had now melted down, he didn't noticed that Taiyou had walked in and had placed a hand on Ryu's shoulder’s. "Despite all my faults and all my actions and everything thing I've done......do you think I'll ever be forgiven?" Ryu asked Taiyou or maybe it was himself, at the moment it made the difference to him. "I don't know kid, you just going to have to find it your self" Taiyou said now sounding like a mature man but it didn't last long "Now get the hell up and get some rest before you burn my whole house down!" Taiyou said leaving the room again. Ryu just laughed sadly before he layed down, still hearing the voices in his head yell at him. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | Yen had quietly kept his identity hidden for the moment. Smuggled upon a fire nation ship, he waited for port. Yen had spotted this fleet a couple of hundred miles back at a earth kingdom town taking goods from the townsfolk. He had thought they would travel upon their daily routine of traveling to the fire nations capital, but instead they took a different turn, one he knew well. The path to the northern water tribe. Yen sat in a storage room for a couple of days. Though the name of this room would hint for food, it did not. It only stored such things as weapons and useless objects for houses. Growing hungry by the day, it finally took over him and he silently lead himself out of the room. Sneaking fast a few guards, he turned a corner, one that led to some stairs leading to the diner room. "Hey!" Yen turned around and spotted a lone guard staring at him. As the guard became confused as to what was going on, Yen quickly stomped his foot to the ground and watched the floor beneath the man rise and crush the guard into the ceiling of the ship. His body fell limp and Yen took advantage to take his clothes for the time being. Hid body was hidden under a few sheets in the dining room. Yen swiftly feasted upon the goods and drank to content. Now fed and quenched, his new outfit allowed him better access upon this vessel. Yen walked upstairs nodding to each guard he met. As he breathed the first bit of air from the outside, a fire nation general greeted him. "Hello there. Light this torch for me, I seem to be a bit too tired to use anything for now." Surprised by this, Yen became frightened. He had no fire powers. Only earth, which had no similarity. "Uhhhh, welll." Yen took an awkward stance. One completely random and began to wave his hands around. Concentrating on the heat of the sun and the torch a spark grew and lit the torch within seconds. Yen caught shock and jumped with surprise. He stared at his hands for what seemed like eternity wondering what the hell happened. "Nice job soldier. Now get back to work." Still wondering to himself how he accomplished such a fleet, he attempted again, but to no avail. Either way, it kept him alive upon this ship just a little longer. Just enough for them to reach the water nation. |

| Twilight Knight | The sky shone quite brightly on Kuai's shut eyelids which kinda disturbed his sleep a little though it did give a comfortable warmth on his face as he lay there on one of the few patches of dirt and grass on the ground. "Ya know, this ain't so bad. Maybe its not a complete disaster....missing the tourny and all. I finally get a chance to chill out here in this village for awhile without assasins or thieves out to take my loot n' monkey." He thought to himself before putting on a faint smile as he basked there silently. It all went to hell in a split moment when a large crash filled the air with a huge bang that awoke Kuai from his light slumber. "Screw it all....*Rubs eyes* can't I get a little sleep.....MAYBE JUST A LITTLE', DAMNIT!!? Kuai stood up and clenched his teeth tightly, his face getting comically red with a vein pulsating on his forehead. Just then he noticed Wukong was no where in sight...no where. Fortunately, though, the hyperactive ape came running in from the left field with a scared face. He then started jumping up and down, shouting random monkey bull crap outa' his mouth and pointed torwards a particular part of town. "Oh Oh Oh Oh, Sherades! I love this game!! Ok Ok...um..old man?! No, err, firebending!? No? Um.....monkey! No thats not it....Walrus!? No...damnit.......I know! Monkey walrus! No?" Wukong just stared in amazement on how stupid Kuai was acting right now so he forcefully grabbed onto Kuais hand and pulled him torwards the designated area while letting out spurratic "eeks" and "Ooh ooh ah ah's!" So Kuai patiently followed Wukong into wherever he was to go until he was pulled into a group of children and a guy around his age. "All of that....for this!!!? Damn you, you.......... little... bastard!" The enraged teen began to......*lol* strangle his monkey. Wukongs eyes cartoonishly bulged while it dropped Kuais' staff, letting out chokes and gurgles here and there before being let go of. "You really erk, ya' know that Wukong.....but your still my pal none the less." He gave a friendly smile, picked up his staff and looked down at the ape that was trying to catch its breath; Wukong returning looks with puzzled eyes. Last edited by seinra; 07/15/08 at 09:10 AM. |

| Right back at ya! | Rai looked around the room, in hopes that the old lady had left him more cookies. "Nothing." He whispered, a bit mad that there weren't more. "I guess I should thank her." He said, getting ready to open up the door leading out of his room. Something made Rai do otherwise. Something made him crack it ever so slightly. When he did, and looked through, the old women could be seen, a huge pot in front of her. "Wonder what she's going to make me?" Rai thought in curiosity. "Ohh...maybe it's a big chicken. Or soup. Ohhh, I can't wait." He whispered with eagerness. As Rai continued to watch the old women, something caught his eye. "A....tentacle?" Rai closed the door, a creeped out look on his face. "Is everything all right dear!?" The old women yelled. It seemed the slam from the door caught the old women's attention. "Uhh...yeah. It's ok." Footsteps form the old lady were heard as she pitter pattered across the floor. "Are you sure? I don't want anything happening to you before I have you for dinner. It should be really tasty." Rai's eyes widened. "She's crazy." He said in a low whisper. "Stop it. Hehe. That tickles." Rai laughed, but stopped and looked down. "A....tentacle is on...my...leg." Rai tried to hold in a yelp, but failed like a sissy school girl. "WHAHQAHAH!" He yelled, jumping back from the door, and landing on the bed. "I don't think you should do that dear." The old women said, opening the door. But a nice, old women was not what came through. "Oh god, a giant octopus...thing!" A small child and his mother walked down the street, taking a nice stroll through the village. "Isn't this nice, you Zebadiah?" The little boy looked at his mother. "Yes mother. I very appreciate this." He said with a smile. The boy looked at a house, made from stone. "What a peculiar house mother." The boy said. "Yes young Zebadia. It is." She said, turning the other way. As she did, the boy saw a long piece of stone shoot out of the house, a massive octopus at the end of it. A boy in green ran up the stone, shooting out what seemed like stone bullets. "Mother! Look a giant octopus and a boy!" The young boy yelled. "Young Zebadiah. What did I tell you about lying?" The mother asked, not looking at the scene. "Not to do it mother. But look!" He yelled. As the mother was about to look, the octopus grabbed the boy in green, and tossed him across the tribe. The octopus turned back into an old women, and slid back into her house. "Zebadiah. Your father will hear of your lying!" The mother yelled, pulling her son home. Rai flew through the air, and landed on the ground near a group of children, fish, an older girl, and older guy, and someone strangling his monkey. |

| Twilight Knight | Hu blinked several times as he watch a very strange series of events happen in front of him. The first was this lad who'd come over with monkeys. He was strangling one what he first looked at him, only to put him down and smile again. Hu almost spoke up, but was quickly distracted from the monkey man, to a new problem. There was a man coming at them from the air. Hu made a quick guess as to where this man would land, and pilled up snow to a spot a few feet behind the new girl. Thankfully, he was right on the money. "Well.....this day is turning out to be a lot more eventful than I thought it would be. Might I ask who you two are?" he said as he pointed to the monkey man and the flying dude. The children were all very curious, some were hiding behind Hu as these events happened. Hu only hoped that both shared no bad intentions, and that this new girl was fine as well.
