Rep Power: 10 ![]() | "You had a Weavile? What a coincidence! I have one too!" she smiled. It was kind of cool that they both seemed to have similar taste in Pokemon. "As for Gengar here, he was the first Pokemon I caught when I was traveling in the Kanto region." she indicated to it. Blaire then noticed for the first time that she was in the way of the spectators. "Ah, sorry! You can go back to watching the battle now, I'll get out of the way!" she quickly apologized to a couple of them before taking a seat next to Trea. She watched the battle in front of them for a minute before turning to Trea. "Who do you think is going to win this battle?" |

| B a n g..... | Trea smiled at the thought of another person with a Weavile. "Yeah. About a year ago, Weavile lost a close fight. It wasn't much, but it was enough to get him down. Weavile left with a group of Sneasel and Weavile to begin harsh training. It was around the same time I got the letter that I got another, telling me that someone found my Weavile. He told me he would bring him to Summit Nine." Trea sighed. It would be good to see his old friend again. "I caught him in Hoenn. We actually met in Jhoto, when I was young. He followed me around as a Sneasel, fighting with me and what not. We were close, but I hadn't actually "caught" him. So he jumped into my pokeball, and we've been tight ever since." Trea looked back at the fight. "Who do you think is going to win this battle?" Trea looked closely at the battle. "By the looks of it, the Vaporeon and Xatu haven't used attacks offensively yet. It seems they are tiring the other two out first. It's a nice strategy. Right now, it's probably to early to call, but due to type advantage, I would have to go with the Meganium's team. But like I said, too early to call." He said with a smile, even more eager to hit Summit Nine. |

| To Punish and Enslave | Devek slightly grinned as he walked back up to his seat. He had been standing where Cam had left him, closely watching the battle. There was something strange about that Vaporeon... Something familiar. Again, at the top of the bleachers by himself, Devek sat down, Absol right beside him. His attention quickly moved to a boy and girl who were talking to each other a few rows down. The girl was standing, blocking the view of a few now angry people. Finally realizing this, she apologized and sat down. Devek could help but chuckle. "Who do you think is going to win this battle?" "More like who's going to give up first?" The words slipped from Devek's mouth before he could even think. Though he did personally believe that was the correct question, he was surprised that he actually said it. Devek, slightly embarrassed, waited to see if the girl or boy actually heard him. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | "Sounds cool." Blaire remarked at his story about his Weavile. She had caught hers in Sinnoh up in the north. Truthfully, Kanto and Sinnoh were the only two regions she had traveled in so far. She was thinking about trying out Hoenn after the Summit Nine tournament. Her thoughts turned to the story of Trea letting his Weavile go off to train on its own. Would she ever want to do that with her own Pokemon? Maybe, if they really wanted to... Oh yeah, the battle. She was starting to space out again. The Meganium and the Noctowl appeared to be what Trea was betting on. But personally, she had a little faith in the Vaporeon and Xatu combination. Meganium might have the type advantage over Vaporeon, but if Vaporeon happens to know any Ice moves, then it could wipe the floor with both Meganium and Noctowl since their both susceptable to Ice-types. Or even if Xatu happens to know any Flying moves, then it could get rid of the Meganium so that it's not a threat to the Vaporeon. She was about to explain this to Trea when she heard someone comment to her question of who was going to win the battle: "More like who's going to give up first?" Blaire turned around to look up at the guy who had said it. She frowned a little. "What makes you think they'll give up?" she asked him. |

| To Punish and Enslave | Devek slightly frowned. She had heard him. "Simple," Devek said, somewhat cold. "Of the battles seen thus far, two trainers have already thrown in the towel. The only trainer I have seen so far that can be seen as 'good', would be your little friend there. The rest so far seem inexperienced or quitters." Devek folded his arms and lifted his left eyebrow up slightly. "I mean, sure, someone might win, but with the previous two matches ending in a draw, I wouldn't be surprised if this one did as well." Though, aside from what he said, he did find the trainer currently battling interesting. She seemed to be on a solid offence, but her rush of victory seemed to be blinding her. It was obvious Vaporeon and Xatu were waiting for her pokemon to tire. The fact that she seemed to not have noticed this is flaw that kept Devek from seeing her as 'good'. |

| B a n g..... | Trea looked at the battle for a few moments, in hopes that either side would make a move to ultimately put either one on top for even the slightest second. "But now that I think of it, that Xa-" his words were cut off by someone elses. "More like who's going to give up first?" Trea looked at the man who's voice spoke. 'It's true.' He thought to himself. 'The first ended in the trainer with the advantage ditching, because his Umbreon was on the verge of murder. Mine ended with Raiden most likely getting bored with the type match up.' Trea thought, hoping this match would end differently. "Of the battles seen thus far, two trainers have already thrown in the towel. The only trainer I have seen so far that can be seen as 'good', would be your little friend there. The rest so far seem inexperienced or quitters." Trea looked up at the person. "He's right." Trea said, still looking at the person, but directing his sentence to Blaire. "The other's ditched their matches before they ended." Trea sighed. "Let's just hope it's not like that at Summit Nine." Trea said, smiling at the two. "I'm Trea by the way." The pokemon trainer said to the man with the Absol. |

| To Punish and Enslave | "The name's Devek," he said, giving a little two fingered saulte. "And this is my trusted partner, Absol." Absol gave a small nod, as if saying 'hello'. "All I have to say is Summit Nine has to be better. I'd rather it not be a waste of my time." Devek folded his arms as he leaned back against the railing that protected people from falling off. Dispite the noise coming from the battle and the chattering of excited fans, Devek could hear the slight rumble from Absol's stomach. Devek softly chuckled. "Hungry, huh?" he asked, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a small container that held roughly twenty pieces of Pokeblock in it. He pulled out a blue block and held it out to the pokemon. Absol quickly leaned over and grabbed the block with his mouth. After a few seconds of chewing, the pokemon swallowed it, nodding his head in appretiation and letting out a soft "Sol". |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | "A very valid point indeed." Garland said to himself, trying not to interfere with the conversation. Once he turned back to the match he stayed fixated on it. "Inferno, those are the two pokemon we saw earlier. They're stronger than they looked to be, am I right?" Inferno nodded to its trainer while watching closely, trying to find an attack area or a weak spot in their attacks and bodies. "You stay and watch, I'm going to train Ven for a bit. If I'm not back by the time our match starts come get me." Garland announced to Inferno. The pokemon nodded once again while watching the battle. Garland left the stadium and unleashed his Staraptor out into the open sky. "Ven, I'm using you during the first round of the tournament. Let's run through your some of your combinations and after that we'll see how strong you've gotten by picking a fight." |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | To the owl's dismay, Noctowl missed his target and landed hard onto the ground when his wings froze. Outside the funnel, Meganium slightly jerked its head backwards in a awestruck manner when Xatu stopped the Razor Leaf attack. Cam furrowed her brows. That attack almost always worked. But, she never did use that sort of attack when a psychic type was on the field. . . Guess that attack wasn't as complicated to get out of as I thought. While the two pokemon waited for Cam's next move, Noctowl wobbled to its feet and flew weakly back over to Meganium. Suddenly, Noctowl's wings gave way and he collapsed harshly to the ground. The owl panted, and Cam could see the scratches etched all over its body. She bit her lip at the site of this. The trainer knew that Noctowl couldn't take much more hits, and if he happened to be beaten during the battle, then Vaporeon and Xatu pretty much won the match. Cam relied heavly on the use of teamwork when it came to double battles, so there was no point in continuing the match if only Meganium was left to battle against two pokemon. That just wasn't her way of doing things. She groaned, almost seeming to pout. Well this sucks. . . The girl then threw up her arms in a shrugging position, sighing deeply. "Ok, guys. Guess that's it for now." Meganium and Noctowl both traded glances at each other before looking quizically at Cam. The girl answered their unspoken question while she crossed her arms. "Hate to admit it, but, Noctowl, you were gettin' pretty beat up there. I don't want you fainting in the middle of the battle. 'Cause if that happens, then they pretty much have the match." Both pokemon traded glances again, but gave an nod in unison. It was an unsure nod, but it was what the female trainer wanted at the least. "Right, so let's just give them this match, ok?" She didn't wait for their response, but took out both of their pokeballs and recalled the two pokemon back. "Well, guess I'll see you pokemon 'round. You two gave me quite a workout there," she said coolly as she placed the pokeballs back on her belt. Within a second, she was already walking back toward her original seat on the bleachers. Glaceon stood on all fours and shook herself. Hurriedly, she followed her trainer with haste. Once the Cam finally reached the top step, she sat down with a thud. Glaceon soon came over as well and sat right on her lap. But instead of laying down like she usually did, the pokemon just stared up at the teen, as if to say, "Why'd ya do that?" The teen only shook her head in response. "Dont' worry, don't worry. I know what I was doing," she said while heaving out another sigh. Glaceon blinkd twice before curling up in a tight ball on Cam's lap. With her eyes back onto the stage, Cam relaxed both her elbows on her legs and rested her chin on her hands. | PostMentalFerocity | Vaporeon watched as Noctowl hit the ground. Internally it smirked. Xatu sighed mentally. The excersize was over. There wasn't a solid definition to said conclusion. Instead of staying around, the two went back to Azen's room. Vaporeon made sure no one followed them. "So now what?" Vaporeon asked Xatu. "We sleep. That battle actually made me tired, as well as keepin you in pokemon form." "POOF" Vaporeon turned into zen again. "Goodnight buddy." Azen grabbed 3 pokeballs and walked back to the arena where something was supposed to happen... |

| B a n g..... | Trea watched at the outcome of the battle. "No way." He said, watching the girl walk back up to the bleachers, her Glaceon close behind. Trea looked up at Devek to see how he reacted to the outcome. 'All three. Someone gave in.' He thought. 'What if all of Summit Nine is like that. No one's real powers would be tested to the fullest.' Trea thought, and looked up at the judge, who now stood in the center arena. "Well. This isn't how I suspected the whole thing to turn out." He said, frowning a bit. "But no matter. We have come to a solution." A women walked onto the stage, holding a box in her hands. "This box holds exclusive membership cards to the finest Hotel, in all of Summit Nine. By showing this, you have free access to the whole Hotel, from Swimming pools, to Buffets, to the finest of suites." He said with a smile. "You will also be given two soothe bells. These bells comfort your pokemon, and make them friendlier, and closer to you." The judge looked at the audience. "Now, will the three who won, please come up?" Trea stood up and looked at Blaire. "Well, I guess that's me." He said, making his way to the stage. |

| PostMentalFerocity | Azen was ready to run to the to run to the stage, but he realized he wasn't Vaporeon anymore. HE paused. "I could say that it was my Vaporeon. They saw me with Xatu and I've shown my Xatu before. Maybe they'll let me get the prize." Azen thought. He walked to the stage with Trea. "It was my Vaporeon. Did he win?" He said pretending to not know the outcome. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Ven panted while descending down to the ship to meet its trainer. "You're better than ever my friend." Garland said, "Other than Inferno, you're the pokemon I've been with the longest. Let's go check in on Inferno." Together he and Ven walked back to the arena to meet up with Inferno just as the match had ended. Inferno shook his head to tell Garland that nothing great had happened. "Oh well, guess we'll have to see what's up when the tournament finally starts. But unlike this amateur night stuff, all the cards will be on the table and there will be no turning back." Garland looked back to the stage just as the three winners had come to the stage. "Hm, hopefully we'll be hitting land soon." Garland said before he went to the stands with his two pokemon. |

| PostMentalFerocity | "Amateur stuff?" Azen looked at Garland crossly. "The only reason I quit was because my Umbreon was going to kill Glaceon. And that, I could not allow. Do not confuse me for a weakling, because you'd be sorely mistaken." Azen turned back to the woman who was making announcements. |
