Default Re: Kingdom Hearts IV - Into The Inferno

Kashia was just embarassing herself more than ever today. "Play it cool!" She mumbled to herself as everyone, including her, walked into a portal leading to Radiant Gardens. She was overwhelmed with excitement, but the trip itself was nothing to special. She was just glad to have finally left Destiny Islands.

It was a dark night in Radiant Gardens, and they emerged onto a street surrounded by kiosks and stands. She was still taking it all in when Mikey began to charge into the darkness along with Voran, keyblades drawn. In the corner, two men were fighting shadow heartless, which were multiplying rapidly. Richard and Melissa began to walk down to somebody's house...Merlins? She wanted to follow them, but something in her heart told her to assist.

"Not like I will do much good." She muttered to herself, but she was already charging towards the battle. In a flash of golden light, she had summoned her keyblade. It was a deep blue color, with streaks of silver running along the blades length. The hilt was an opaque silver, forming a swirly design, and a small crescent moon keychain hung from the end. The top of the blade held a glittering blue and silver moon, encrested with small saphires.

"Mind if I join?" She asked as she sliced her blade through a shadow heartless that was ready to pounce. She was quite agile and strong, despite her appearance, and she easily twisted around to hack down several more heartless behind her with a quick combo. She noticed Mikey had cleared out a pack oh heartless with one fantastic move, but she continued to fight and not be distracted. She leapt high into the air, thrusting out her keyblade, and she began to spiral downwards like a tornado. She was spinning so fast she almost looked like a blur, and her feet pounded into the ground with a small boom. Her keyblade had disintegrated all the surrounding heartless, and she left a small crater of impact where she landed. Everyone was now talking urgently about going to Merlins, and Kashia leaned against the wall, keyblade in tow.

I think we should go and introduce our selfs to them, now! Slexif said as he opened a portal. She followed him through, and they emerged near the bailey. Strange enough, this whole city seemed familiar to her, even though she hadn't been there for years. She was able to sense where Market Street was, and she quickly sprinted down a flight of stone stairs, Slexif on her tail.

She was about halfway down before she launched herself off the stairs and into the air. Her flight was a short one, and she gracefully landed on her feet and pulled out her twin blades. One was gold, the other a bronzed red, each with a small gem set into the pommel. On the gold sword, the gem was carved into a musical note, the red swords gem was a flame. She gave them a quick twirl in a pinwheel fashion before she took off for Market Street, which was just around the corner.

She could her the clashing of metal and the grunts from the fighters, but it sounded as if there were five or six people there. "Who else besides those damn brothers?" She asked as she rounded the corner, but kept out of sight. She was able to recognize the brothers instantly, both were showing off be special moves. The other two she couldnt guess, although one did bear a striking resemblence to Slexif. "Ahh, Slief!" She concluded as she looked him over again. The last person, a teenage girl who also wielded a keyblade in the shape of a moon. She felt a strange feeling, like she knew her somehow...But that was impossible.

"Damn Organization! Come out! I know you're there!" One of them shouted. Ashyx emerged from the dark corner, twirling her blades, a devious grin on her face. "You flatter me with your anger! But please, dont get carried away." She said mockingly as she looked over at them. "Which of you twerps wants your ass kicked first?" She said as she thrust one sword into the ground, leaning casually on it.

It seemed he had been noticed. Stepping out onto the roof, he stared at her. She was an interesting child, a kid with a rod. Volnar grinned at the sight of her raising the damn thing, as if she was going to hit him from a distance-

and then he noticed the ice spikes rising from the GROUND, THE DAMN GROUND, and then rushing at him at an amazing speed. Without thinking, Volnar uttered, "Shit-"

Having no second thoughts, Volnar pulled the sword he had out of his scabbard, and spun it outwards, in a continuous figure 8, constantly spinning and spinning and side-stepping and ducking and dodging so he blocked most of the ice shards, but the ones he didn't simply flew a little over his ear or under his armpit, a hair away from tearing his body apart, and once again Volnar was deep, deep in combat, deep in the euphoric feeling of the steel on steel, the blocks, the parries, the feints. She didn't seem ready for him to come charging again, so that's what he did; lunging forward with the incredible speed bred into his by his parents, he pulled the sword around and managed to pull off an uppercut, one with enough horizontal width to skewer her in half if she tried to duck, but at the same time vertical enough to slice an arm or two if she attempted to dodge to the side.

The game was on.

As the man rushed at her with an uppercut, Dawn laughed to herself. "Tricky little shit arnt ya?" Dawn whispered to herself. Dawn held her Rod in a diagonal stance, it alligning with his uppercut. Ice sprouted up from the ground, merging with his sword, stopping it in place and keeping it from moving anywhere. With her Sleet Rod keeping the Ice and the mans sword firmly in place, Dawn from her hip, unsheated a simple sword, ingraved with her name in symbols and Ice freezing the entire sword.

Dawn held it in a stance, and swung it horizantly at the man. Luckly, he wouldent have something to block that, but the man was tricky, so he'd probaly come up with something.

----------------------------

"Try me?" Mike said, unsheating his Broadsword from his back with a thrust. Mike shoved the sword in the ground, pushed it down an inch, making it tilt like a lever, and pulled it with a grunt. The blade slid across the ground, and once being released in the air, an Inferno Fire emerged from the ground, flinging at the girl. Mike, with sword in hand, ran at her, and collided with one of her blades. Mike, with his free hand, summonded his Fenrir, and clashed with the Golden Sword, held by the Organization Lacky. Mike's fire Locket, given to him by Tifa, swung from Mikey's neck as he fought.

"Honey, I don't think you know what're you doing."

The first logical misstep in a fight is to get into the fight at all; this is obvious. Fighting leaves both contestants hurt and brings back usually nothing in return but satisfaction. The second worst thing to do, at least when fighting a man named Volnar Balrung, is to falsely assume he is only good with his broadsword, since its the only thing he carries. The third worst thing, but not the least, is to get up-close with him; for Volnar is a brawler, back in the early days, and he has the adventurous streak in him like Sargon Silvermane before him, the insane adrenaline rushes, the ridiculous feats of fury and power the man used to show at the slightest sign of harm coming to any of his companions. Volnar directly inherited the anger and fury of the Silvermane clan, and this was what he brought, in full swing, to power against this little girl.

His muscles suddenly flexing, his skin turned to iron, his mind darkened, and with a heaving roar he shattered the ice encasing his sword, and spun around, continuing the blade's trajectory as if it had never stopped, with easily enough power to cleave through the little dagger shoved at him by the girl. This was only with one hand, however; with the other, he attempted to snatch the woman's neck in his hand, and heaving with righteous anger shove her to the ground. With her other sword either knocked away completely or annihilated, he put his full weight on his arm to force her down, and stared right into her eyes.

"What's your name? Who do you work for? No nice children in this town, I see."

Ashyx watched as one of the brothers, the one with messy brown hair and gorgeous eyes, pulled out a Broadsword. He then thrust it into the ground and summoned flames to attack her. As she was occupied with the flames, which she had to dodge, he charged her with a sword he had brought forth. He sure was a spirited punk, she had to give him that. She crashed both of her blades into his, pushing her face up close to his. "Dawn was right. Your eyes are gorgeous!" She said in a mocking tone, and she had to stifle her own laugh.

She twirled around, thrusting the red sword at the boys chest, her gold sword still blocking his blade. "Don't you know that when you play with fire," She started as she jumped back from him, unlinking their swords, "you only get burned!" She crossed her gold and red blades into an X in front of her and whispered "Tune of Inferno." Instantly, she was surrounded by tongues of flame, forming a circle around her. The flames reached heights of almost four yards off the ground, each a vibrant yellow and orange.

She gave a wicked smile, and then raised her arms and head to the sky. Her singing was low at first, soft and barely audible. The flames began to dance and twirl as she sang, bending with her voice. Her song of choice was a lullaby that her mother had sung her, inspired by her return to her home. She made sure to sing low so nobody would know the words. She charged forward with blades ready, the circle of flames charging with her. As she sang higher, the flames reached out and emitted their energy in the form of large and fiery explosion. The flames spread out wider and wider until they disperesed into nothing, as Ashyx had stopped her singing. She stared triumphantly at the smoke that was begining to cloud the area.

Kashia watched as the cloaked figure emerged from the shadows, ribbons of red along the black garment. The figure, who was not much older than herself, looked familiar to her. She pressed herself flat against the wall, not even daring to breathe aloud. Tension was growing, and finally Mikey stepped forward to accpet the challenge she offered. He summoned his inferno, which the stranger easily deflected, and they then preceded into intense combat, with no give what so ever. Finally, the cloaked girl, part of what somebody called the "Organization" summoned forth her own flames.

The fire she controlled was very hot and powerful, and when they exploded, she could feel them burn her even from where she stood ten yards away. The flames seemed to be controlled by her singing, but after the detonation, they dissolved. Smoke was fogging her vision, and she anxiously searched through it to find Mikey. Would he need help?

As both Slexif and Ashyx entered from the bailey, instantly at that moment Ashyx was fighting with one of the people already.
Lying against the wall, Slexif looked at the fighting between Ashyx and Mike, before turning his gaze onto the people left on the ground.

As his eyes washed over them, he suddenly stopped as he saw someone quite familiar. His somebody, Sleif! With a slight grin, Slexif stepped away from the wall, and started to walk slowly away towards the edge of the path, before leaping into the air.

A moment later, Slexif landed directly in front of the remaining group, turning his gaze around to be facing Slerif. "Well, hello there!" Slexif simply said to everyone.

-----------------------------------------------

As the group made their way to this merlin's house, Sleif was still adjusting to the brightness of this realm. While it was interesting in the beginning, it only now started to slightly annoy him. He knew that with time, he would get used to it, but until then, he just didn't know.

Arriving into a large area, Alamus, the man who first helped Sleif out started shouting "Damn Organization! Come out! I know you're there!" into the air. A second after that, a woman appeared holding two swords, before the one known as Mike started to battle with her.

A few seconds later, a second person appeared from the shadows, and for some reason Sleif felt that he knew the person.
Before he could get a good look, the person leaped into the air, landing in front of everyone, and giving everyone a good look at his face and features.

The person looked almost identical to Sleif, albeit some slight changes in his hair and eyes.

"Voran, take the others and head for Merlin's. Me and Kashia will handle this fight!" Mikey said, looking over at Kashia, nodding in approval of getting into the fight. Ashyx then preformed some dance, making Fire dance about the area.

Smoke was all about the area, blocking off view. Mikeyslid his heel's back, and pushed himself forward into the smoke, right at Ashyx. Mikey clashed both his sword and Keyblade with her two swords, but the force from Mike's jumped made him stronger for that moment, so he was able to blast Ashyx back into a wall with one fierce attack. Mikey then put his hands back behind him, and shouted, "Inferno Ray!" releasing a powerful beam at Ashyx.

"What'd Dawn say?"

--------------------------------------

"Name's Dawn" she said, winking. Dawn, with the wink, made a flat ice spike shoot out of a wall at the man, which made contact and shot him off of her. The Ice Spike disintagrated completly in thin air. Dawn then, with a snap of her fingers, created a sharp, Ice Spike, easy and large enough to cut the mans throat in an instant. It slithered under his chin; Dawn walked over to him as he was held down on the ground, where as every move he could make would be useless.

"Now, whats your name, hun?"

Dawn was flat on the roof, held down by this strange man.

In a moment, Volnar realized he was checkmated. The ice spike smashed into his chest, cracking one of his ribs; and he resisted the urge to roar out in pain as he was smashed into the ground. This was like Redweed all over again, god damned magic powers fighting more than the people themselves. He shook off the thought, and took a deep, deep gasp of air, and readied himself for interrogation. As he tried to get up, another one of her spikes slithered (slithered?) over to him, and shoved its sharp self towards his neck. Taking the sign, he laid back, and sighed. He listened to her voice.

"Now, what's your name, hun?"

"Sargon," he said, without a quiver in his voice. "Sargon Silvermane, famous adventurer on my planet. You're violent, aren't you? What are you trying to do here? You and your two friends moved in on my territory. And why the stupid outfit? Jesus, kids these days...kids and their magic..."

He looked back, back to better times...times gone. He could die here, easily, but he didn't expect to. She was interesting...in an odd way.

OOC: EDITED. READ.

-------------------------------------

Everything had happened so abruptly that Alamus had to get a hold of his surroundings. When he finally did, he realized the woman from the Organization was battling Mike and Sleif was about to fight Slexif. Voran took everyone else to Merlin's house.

This is bad. I need to defeat them quickly! He turned to Slexif.

"You there!" he shouted, pointing his Keyblade at Slexif, stepping protectively in front of Sleif. "Before you move on...well let's skip the formalities. You start first!"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Xornex steadily walked down the narrow path. It was night, and a cool breeze made the grasss dance. He preferred walking over Dark Corridors. It just seemed more...enigmatic. The sight of a hooded man in a black and crimson cloak slowly walking towards you...it gave off a feeling of power...

As Xornex followed the path that would soon lead to Castle Oblivion, he began to remember the events of last year. So much had happened.

"But it's just the beginning," he whispered to himself. "I will keep coming back, no matter what."

The path came to an abrupt end. Xornex found himself on a small, dull plain on which Castle Oblivion stood. At the front gates stood a man garbed entirely in black. His face was pale and human, except for a pair of glowing red slits that posed as eyes.

"Long time, no see, Arek."

Arek glared back at him. "You never lifted the Binding, Xer---Xornex. You will die once it is gone."

"Which is why I will never lift the Binding, Arek," replied Xornex coolly. "You are more powerful than me, if only by a little. You slept for ages, draining the strength from all the mystical things in the world. Such power must become my pet."

Arek growled. It was a deep and dark growl. But because of the Binding, Arek was forced to do as Xornex said, or else face instant death.

"You're lucky you found the spell for the Binding," Arek snarled. "It is old magic, older than even me."

Xornex simply smirked. "Enough chat. Let's get on with business. What do you know of...Master Xehanort?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: Arek returns!

Just as Ashyx was begining to relax, Mikey charged out of the smoke, sword and keyblade ready. He crashed into her, and the momentum of his jump carried into the attack. Ashyx braced herself as she flew backwards, skidding on her heels right into the wall. The pain was only momentary, as she was already back in a defensive stance to block more attacks. He shouted out some words, something about inferno, and another wave of fire launched itself at her. She leapt high into the air, jumping over the oncoming beam, and landed in a crouch in front of the boy.

"She said you had gorgeous eyes! And I think she was right, but I'm not shallow enough to judge anyone just by looks. But judging by personality, you dont rank very high either." She said bitterly as she stood up, the red blade in front of her and the gold crossed behind her. She looked back to Slexif, who was engaged in conversation with his somebody Slief. "You must be Mikey then, Dawn speaks higly of you! Allow me to introduce myself, as I would prefer to be known as an individual rather than "The Organization." I am Ashyx." She finished with an effortless twirling of her swords.

It seemed like everybody was leaving, except for the one other girl. "Well, I'm not here to chatter, unlike my companions." She said, flashing a joking smile in Slexif's direction. She pulled her hair into a high ponytail, tying it with a crimson ribbon, her bangs fluttering freely in the soft breeze.
__________________________________________________ ________________________

Mikey nodded in Kashia's direction, and she eagerly jumped forward next to him, keyblade in a defensive stance. The Organization member reminded her of somebody she thought she knew...Maybe it was her mind playing tricks on her?

"Allow me to introduce myself, as I would prefer to be known as an individual rather than "The Organization." I am Ashyx." The woman said, pulling her hair back. She also spoke of someone named Dawn, whom Kashia also didnt know. But, Mikey had let her stay behind to fight, and she would do her best. Kashia then charged at Ashyx, keyblade ready to lunge. She connected with the golden sword, then ducked as the red sword swooped from behind Ashyx and towards her head.

"You kids are pissing me off!" Ashyx said to her as Kashia spun around and dislodged her blade from the golden one. She tumbled to the ground as Ashyx launched her twin blades at her, and she performed a sweeping motion at Ashyx's feet with her own keyblade. Ashyx jumped up and spun her blades around, her foot catching Kashia on the nose.

She heard a soft crack, and then felt something dripping from her nose. She backed away, leaving the smiling Ashyx a few yards in front of her. She wiped her nose, and her hand was soaked in bright red blood. "Damn." She muttered as she wiped away the continuously dripping blood.

"Kashia!" Mike said, anger taking control. Mike rushed at her, hitting her with an uppercut, and with a kick of his foot on her stomach, she was sent flying backwards. Mike walked up a bit, and stood in a Defensive Stance.

"Dawn. That bitch. She doesnt get it." Mikey whispered to himself. "Keep your opinions to yourself!" Mike yelled, but then realizing something. She's with the Organization. A Nobody.

"I aint racist for kinds contributing to Heartless, humans, or Nobodys, but keep your damn opinions to yourself!" Mike said, his tone going into a more relaxed voice.

"I'd love to stick around and chat, but...im busy. Later!" Mike said, turning to walk away, his one hand waving back to Ashyx. "Come on, Kashia, dont waste your time on her." Mike said, turning his head to see Kashia out of the corner of his eye.

----------------------------------------

"Sargon, huh?" Dawn said, her rod resting on her shoulder, and the Ice Blade somewhere down on the ground.

The man then mentioned something about Violet, and the old days. "Huh? Violet? Did you not hear me? My name is Dawn!" she yelled, her attitude becoming annoyed. "Answer me this, and ill be on my way. Why were you following me? Do you work with the Inferno Brothers?" Dawn said, the wind blowing in the night, and the silk skirt around her bikini swaying back and forth lightly.

The red her outfit shined aswell. But, the thing she questioned herself. Why were a red bikini and bra outfit, if she had control over ice? She laughed at the very thought.

Dawn was lost in her thoughts for a moment, but she snapped back to it in a second. Nothing had changed, the man just sat there, the Ice Dagger careful placed underneath his chin still. "So? Gonna answer me?"

Ashyx watched as the teenage girl keybearer covered her bleeding nose, and laughed at her. "You weakling. You're not even fit to wield a keyblade. Why dont you go home and play with your dolls?" She said in a bitter mocking tone as she stepped closer to her. She turned around as she heard Mikey scream her name, which was Kashia. Why was that name so familiar? But her thoughts were cut short by a quick punch and kick combo from Mikey. He got her right in the stomach, and she crashed backwards into a wooden crate.

"I'd love to stick around and chat, but...im busy. Later!" Mikey called out to her, giving a slight wave. Ashyx got out of the crushed box, leaning against the wall for leverage. "Damn brats..." She mumbled as he turned away from her and back towards Kashia. "Where the hell is Slexif damn it!?" She said through gritted teeth as she searched the emptying street. "Chat? Hah, your both quite the chatterboxes. I suppose we shall me again soon, but I'll make sure to tell Dawn you said "hi!"" She shouted back to him before she opend a portal of swirling darkness. She stepped through and emerged on the roof of the building they were just fighting at. She watched as Mikey and Kashia began to wander their way around the darkening street, and she wondered how Dawn was doing.
__________________________________________________ ________________________

"Yea, Mikey, I'm coming..." She mumbled as she pulled herself off the ground. That Organization bitch, she would get revenge. Kashia staggered her first few steps, a bit dizzy, but regained balance and walked next to Mikey. She turned around to see Ashyx disappear into a dark portal, staring at her. She had the strangest feeling of recognition towards her, but she was too upset to think about it.

She ripped the sleeve of her jacket during battle, and she wiped her bleeding nose again, less blood than before on her hand. When she had fallen, her keyblade had disappeared, and she flexed her hand where she had held it. "Mikey, I'm sorry." She said in a wavering voice, trying to keep her composure straight. She sucked it up, and put a tiny smile on her face. She did kick a little ass, and it felt good. She continued to follow Mikey down the empty street, probably to home of whoever Merlin was.

"You there! Before you move on...well let's skip the formalities. You start first!" said Alamus as he held his keyblade towards Slexif.

"Very well!" said Slexif as he slowly raised his right hand up towards him. Suddenly in a dark flash a pure black katana appeared, as Slexif knocked Alamus keyblade away from his face, while at the same time summoning in a bright flash, a pure clear see through katana in his left hand, as he slashed at Alamus' mid section.

Swiftly turning, Slexif slashed both blades at Sleif.

--------------------------------------

Watching Alamus stand in front of him, Sleif instantly knew that it was a bad idea for him to have done that. Within a few seconds, Slexif had already summoned his weapons and attacked Alamus, before slashing at him.

Raising his own hand, a large eruption of darkness appeared, as Sleifs long black bladed sword appeared, causing both warriors' blades to go into deadlock.

In one move, Sleif was able to force back Slexif quite a bit, before bringing his sword back behind him, and slashed in his direction.
As he did that, a huge wave of energy fired from the blade in Slexifs direction.

------------------------------------------

As Slexif was pushed out of the deadlock and away from Sleif, it didn't take long for him to see a large wave of energy flying right towards him.
"Interesting!" Slexif thought, as he leaped into the air, allowing the energy to collide with the wall behind him and causing it to shatter.

As he was in the air, Slexif raised his own swords, before launching many beams of energy at both Sleif and Alamus.
