Kingdom Hearts [II-II]-- Keybearer of Love

"Well, then! Now that you have made your decision, we have some work to do! But first, we will start by having a little test! Don't worry, it's rather simple! All you have to do is look into that! Go over, and place your hands upon it, and all will be revealed to you! About yourself, and your destiny!" said Sleif.

Derick bowed his head and let out a sigh which symbolized the amount of guilt he now felt. He simply nodded as his way of responding to what his new master had told him to do, approaching the object and gazed up at it once more. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath before mentally speaking to Sakura, hoping she would somehow hear him just like she had been doing this past conversation.

"I'm so sorry, Sakura. . . I really am. . ."

Afterwards, Derick placed both hands against the radiant object as he then opened his eyes only to see the worse unfold. There, within the glowing object itself, several images began to play. All of them involved the boy attacking innocent civilians as well as unleash total destruction among various worlds he appeared to have never visited in his entire lifetime. Soon, the image of him cutting down his friends with ease with the Messer Ultimatum was shown which caused his eyes to widen. However, he then pulled both hands away once the image of him grasping onto Sakura's neck and backing her against a wall came into play. The image quickly faded away before it could become anymore morbid than it already had been, leaving off with his lifting up his Keyblade towards his friend.

"That - will. . ." the boy stammered as he staggered away from the object. "That's really me?. . ."

[Emorene]

Emorene leaned against the cave wall, his hood up, his eyes focused on the girl other than Kairi that wielded the Keyblade. He still did not know her name, but he knew the names of everyone else there. The girl had been talking to someone, through her heart; this Emorene knew. He had done the same in the past, and he did not want to disturb her at the moment, so he remained quiet and still. He knew that the road ahead was a dangerous one, and that he was going to need a weapon. Now that Namine had his dagger, there was only one other option for a weapon that Emorene could use. He would have to find Yen Sid, who would be able to return Emorene's sword back to its true wielder. Emorene had been having Yen Sid hold on to it until there was dire need for it- and it appeared that there was increasing need for it with every passing moment.

Mic had got closely watched Sleif and Derick from a distance taking in all that was happening "So thats dericks destiny how sad" said Mic to himself as he continued to watch he was starting to wonder which side he should be on for now he was just watching.

Riku had finally noticed something why'll standing in place "Wheres Mic" he said to the group wondering what had happen to him

Sleif stood over Derick as he had his hands placed upon the object, allowing him to see the images. A grin was on Sleif face, after Derick ripped his hands away from the object in disgust, but mostly fear.
"That - will. . .That's really me?. . ." Derick asked, still quite in shock from seeing the terrifying images.

"Yes! That is what you will become! In time that is!" Sleif said to Derick, turning around and slightly walking away.
"This object, allows the user to see their hearts path! Oh there may be some slight differences in what you see, and what happens! But the main, important points stay the same, and they can never be changed!" said Sleif.

Turning slightly towards the darkness, Sleif could sense another presence was somewhere nearby, but he decided to leave whoever it was be, for they had not shown any signs of aggression, yet!

[Namimaru]

[so nobody tapped on her shoulder afterall? Spooky...]

Sakura wiped her eyes with her for-arm. Tears really were starting to form in them. Maybe it was Derik's last sentence that pushed her over the top.
"I'm so sorry, Sakura. . . I really am. . ."
She stood up and kept trying to clear her eyes untill her cheeks grew red. Sakura had a faint thought about why she cared so much, even though she had only just met this boy earlier that day. No more than a few hours, even. She repeated their meeting in their head. She hadn't been paying attention when they bumped into eachother, both looking sort of embaresst. Than darkness had spread, and the two had rushed into battle. It all seemed so fast, she didn't even have time to talk to him and get to know him better.

With a deep breath, she turned around and began to walk out of the tunnel. She NEEDED to find Derik, and she was going to need some help. Sakura spotted Sora with Riku and Kairi and walked up to them, trembling with nervous and anxiousness.
"Sora, Kairi, and Riku... I need your help," She started. "We have to find Derik! I... I just know he's in trouble somewhere, so I need to help him... But, I don't know where to start, so, I need you guys."

[Sora_Rox_My_Sox]

Kairi looked sympathetically at Sakura. She was desperate to save Derick, and desperation could lead to many things in order to obtain what you want. She placed her hand on her shoulder, giving it a small pat. "Of course we'll help you! I could never imagine why we wouldnt, right guys?" She said, shooting a look over at Sora and Riku.
"Dont worry a bit Sakura. Before you know it, Derick will be back here with us."

Namine and Roxas walked up the sandy shores to where everybody was standing. "Mic...I remember him! But, i dont know where he could be. Was he swept away with the darkness?" She asked Riku in reply to his question. She hadnt seem him since she met him, and she hoped that no one else had gone missing.

"Are we gonna go search for Derick? Count us in!" She said to Sakura, giving Roxas a slight nudge.

[Emorene]

"If you will allow me," began Emorene, "I too would like to help you find this Derick. I was told to find Sora, and follow him wherever he goes. One day, he will help me. Until that happens, I shall be helping him, and the best way to do that is to find this friend of his." Emorene walked over to the one who had spoke to Derick and said almost in a whisper, "I can only help you if I know your name.... what I should I be calling you?"

[Namimaru]

[Oh oh! Did Yen Sid talk about me? XD]
Sakura's eyes widened and her eyes turned sort of glassy.
"Thank you so much, Kairi! Namine! Roxas!" She exclaimed, her hands clasped together in joy and gratitude.
Than, Sakura blinked at Emorene's question. She had hardly remembered to introduce herself to the man who had greatly helped in the fight against the darkness. She nodded her head when she replied,
"Sakura; Its a pleasure," in a sort of formal tone. It had been strange. As soon as something horrible had happened, so many people came to help, and new faces arrived.

Roxas held the spot whee Namine nudged him and nodded. "Yeah, I'm in," He nodded. His blonde-haired friend was alot stronger than her appearence led him to believe. Maybe she could learn to be a good fighter someday if she practiced.

[Emorene]

OOC: No, Sakura, Yen Sid did not talk about you... not yet at least. For the next few posts, I shall be controlling Yen Sid, by the way.

Emorene nodded his head and said to Sakura, "Then so be it, Sakura, I will help you find Derick. Before I go with you all, though I must retrieve a suitable weapon from an old friend first. I allowed Namine to use my dagger, for I felt it would be of greater use to her than to me. I'll be right back." Emorene then placed his hand against one of the cave walls, summoning a swirling vortex of darkness to appear. Emorene stepped into the vortex before it faded away.

In his tower, Yen Sid was quickly gathering the things he treasured most or needed dearly. Heartless appeared through every corner of the tower, and an ooze of darkness crept up the walls. Yen Sid looked emotionless, he having no fear of the Heartless at all. He knew that he needed to leave, or else his heart would be taken by the Heartless. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, the three other residents of Yen Sid's tower, had already fled the tower once they spotted Maleficent nearby. Maleficent, this time without her lackey Pete, was attacking the tower. Why Maleficent was attacking the tower, this Yen Sid did not know, but he did know that she meant harm to him. He did want to stay long enough so that he would have to confront Maleficent, so he made haste to get ready to leave.

He had gathered everything he needed in little time, and just as he was about to leave the tower by means of magic, a dark vortex appeared across the room. Emorene Tobias, someone Yen Sid was surprised to see, stepped out of the vortex just before it faded away.

Riku looked at Sakura "Of course we will help you a new chapters starting and we will al do are part to help" said Riku as he patted Sakura on the back "So how do we travel this time" asked Riku to Sora


Mic knew he had been discovered but his choice for now was to just follow derick walking out and up to derick he only looked at Derick "I will follow you as a ally Derick but if i see something i dont like from Slexif or you i will enterfere" said Mic as he pointed a card at Slexif "And i will not follow your orders only Dericks" he said standing there

[Emorene]

Emorene looked around the room before saying to Yen Sid, "What is going on?" The room where the two were in was located on the top of Yen Sid's tower, high above the ground below. Out the window nearby were Darkball and various other flying Heartless that began to strike the side of the tower. Darkness oozed from the walls, and Heartless were forming every where inside the room. Strangely, though, the Heartless did not attack. They simply stood as if they were waiting for orders before making a move.

Yen Sid wasted no time in replying to Emorene's question by saying, "It would appear that old enemies are harder to eliminate than one would suspect. Maleficent has launched an attack on my tower, and at the rate she is going, it will soon be fall to the ground, and this area will belong to her now. If you have come for the sword, take it now before its too late." Yen Sid then turned his head to look at the black sword in the corner of the room, a smile on his face all the while. "The sword seems to be calling for its master," said Yen Sid as purple electricity arced around the blade suddenly, "Like a Keyblade can only be wielded by its master, your sword can only be used by you. I tried to pick up the blade once, but faded away when my hand neared it. There are very few weapons like yours in this world, Emorene. Consider yourself lucky to have such a weapon to fight with."

[Namimaru]

Sakura looked around, noticing Emorene had dissappeared. She shrugged tpoo herself and looked straight at Sora.
"Sora? Are you going to help?" She asked, a bit nervous about asking for his help so much lately. It's true, he had really prepared her for danger, but she still needed the Keybearer of Light and her friend by her side. She sighed and smiled at Riku, who had just volenteered himself to help her, and asked Sora the exact question she had been queing.
How were they going to transport?
They had no gummie ship, or corrido-
Wait!

She looked over her shoulder and turned herself to see Roxas and Namine.
"You guys- Can you travel threw the Corridors of Darkness?" She asked, than suddenly blinked. How dd she know about them? She didn't remember having read about them or been told about them. She suddenly realized it-
It must have been a part of her past!

[Sora_Rox_My_Sox]

"Corridors of darkness? Ha, yes we can do that! There are some restrictions, but other than that..." She looked over at Roxas, a questioning look on her face. She didnt want to give Sakura false hope, for she hadnt opened a portal in a long time, and Roxas probably hadnt either.

"Maybe if we conjoined power, we could open one." She said, smiling at Sakura. She looked over to Sora and Riku, who were deep in conversation. Kairi came and stood beside the, offering a helping smile. "We can do it!" Namine said to herself, grazing her fingers over the hilt of the knife.

[Emorene]

OOC: Did someone mention Corridors of Darkness? Namine and Roxas aren't the only ones that can create Corridors of Darkness!

Emorene extended his open hand, and his sword insantly appeared in it. Emorene placed his weapon in its sheath, which was connected to his belt. The sword's sheath had been right next to his dagger's sheath, but it was far longer, of course. "Where will you go? How will I find you if I need your help, Yen Sid?" Asked Emorene as he backed toward a Corridors of Darkness that he had created with a wave of his hand.

Yen Sid paused before saying, "More likely, it shall be me that will find you, and it will be me that will be needing help if that is the case. Emorene, there is little more that I can do to help you in your journey. However, I sense that Sora can help you in ways that even I can not imagine. Still, there is another young Keyblade Wielder that can help you just as much as Sora can, if not more. His name is Derick, and I sense that he is just as necessary to accomplishing what you wish as Sora is. You must find and follow both, Emorene, or you will remain like this forever. Next time we cross paths, lets hope the conditions are more favorable." Yen Sid then lifted his hand in the air, palm up, and summoned a beam of light to shoot down from the ceiling. Yen Sid was then engulfed in a pure blue light. When the light cleared, Yen Sid was gone. Emorene then heard the door open nearby. Wasting no time, Emorene ran through the Corridor of Darkness, not wanting to confront his old friend- Maleficent the witch. Just before the Corridor of Darkness vanished from the room, Maleficent's raven, Diablo, passed through it, leaving Maleficent and her Heartless in Yen Sid's tower.

OOC: Is it alright for me to control Diablo for a bit? Since I don't have two main characters two use like everyone else at this point, perhaps controling less important characters for a short time would be best? Is this alright?

Outsides Yen Sids tower, Maleficent continued her barrage of heartless against the towers walls. Slowly, with each and every attack, the tower started to crumble away, and darkness had already begun oozing from the cracks.

"Soon that old fool won't be able to hold on any more, and then this tower will be mine!" Maleficent said to herself as more darkballs were summoned and flew around the outside of the tower.
From the ground, Maleficent looked upwards, towards Yen Sids room, were she instantly saw a bright light radiating from it.

A twisted grin appeared on her face as she saw this happening, before she ordered some of her Defender heartless to knock down the huge door to the tower.
When she began the attack, Maleficent was not able to make even a scratch on the doors, however from seeing the light, Maleficent knew things had drastically changed.

Ramming the door with all of their strength, the Defenders obliterated the door, allowing the other heartless to pour inside the tower.
"Finally, it is mine! Diablo go!" Maleficent said to her raven, which swooped off of her shoulder, and flew through the tower for Yen Sids room.

Maleficent walked into the entrance room of the tower, watching as the heartless already were covering the walls, and making their way up the tower.
"I think a little redecorating is in order!" said Maleficent as she raised her hands, summoning many black vines and thorns everywhere..

"Better! Now lets see what the old fool left!" Maleficent said, just before she erupted in a blaze of green fire, and reappeared at the top of the tower in Yen Sids room.
At the moment she arrived, she noticed a dark corridor was just closing, and that the faint outline of her raven could be seen through the darkness.

Looking around the room, it appeared that Yen Sid had taken everything that was important, leaving nothing of interest.
Turning around, Maleficent walked into the area directly beside the room, the area which previously belonged to the three godmothers.

They too seemed to have brought everything, but in their hast they did leave five covered objects, which were placed around the outline of the room.
Walking over to them, Maleficent pulled each of the cloths off of them, revealing them to be mirrors. Her twisted grin, grew even more as she realised what exactly they were.

"Now this is interesting!" said Maleficent, as she began to cackle and laugh evilly into the air, as the thorns had finally taken control of the tower completely.

Sleif turned around, watching as Mic walked out of the darkness, and towards him and Derick. "I will follow you as a ally Derick but if I see something i don't like from Sleif or you I will interfere" Mic said, before he pointed a card at Sleif. "And I will not follow your orders only Dericks!" Mic said, all the while looking at Derick.

A slight grin was on Sleifs face, as he heard this coming from Mic. "Oh then!" Sleif simply said, as he turned away from the two.
"An what do you say in all of this, Derick?" asked Sleif, turning slightly to Derick, his yellow eye had now returned.
