| Made a Grown Man Cry. Epic | Sora turned his head and gave Riku an expression that practically just showed the truth. Derick was gone and there was other way of explaining it. But he did realize a certain object that his friend was carrying around when he had been caught within the force that consumed him. A familiar object that resembled his Keyblade to be exact. Backing away from the door, Sora gazed up at it and sighed. "As much as I hate to say it, yes. Derick is gone - but," Sora paused, taking in another breath before continuing with what he had to say. "there is a chance that he's still alive. Didn't you happen to notice what Derick had, Riku? It was a Keyblade. Even with the amount of Darkness beyond this door, it'll protect him for sure so there's a high possibility that he'll make it out." explained the auburn teen, putting his hand under his chin and looked down at the ground. "As for where he'll appear at, that is still unknown." Turning his attention over to Sakura, he could see the state of sorrow she was in at the current moment. Sora placed his hand on her shoulder as his way of comforting her. "Don't cry, Sakura. . . look, Derick is going to be fine. He has a Keyblade now just like the rest of us. With that, it'll protect him from whatever is inside that door so just think positive and keep your head up and soon, you'll see him again, okay?" |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | Sakura sniffed and listen closely to what riku and Sora were saying. Derik still had a chance to make it back? She had to find him. The female keybearer stood up and sniffed, wiping her eye from ehr tears. "I'll try, Sora," She lifted her chin up and turned around, her back to the door and her face to the light. She kept on thinking about what he had told her about his keyblade. "Yep, this one happens to me mine now. Let's just say. . . it's my job to protect the Keybearer of Love." His voice echoed. It seems now, he will be the one in need of aid, not her. "What... What caused that vaccum?" Sakura asked softly, not even sure if they heard her. "And how come the rest of us weren't so much affected?" She sighed and brushed some hair from her eyes. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | --------------------------------------------- A loud shuffling noise could be heard, vibrating down an almost endless dark corridor. A small group of Shadow Heartless were dragging the unconscious body of Derick down this hallway, until they arrived in an extremely large dimly lit room. "Drop him there, and leave us!" Sleif said, not taking his gaze away from a round green glowing object stationed in the middle of the room. With that, the shadows seeped and disappeared through the floor, lowering Derick as they did this onto the cold ground. "Well, this is quite a turn of events!" Sleif said as he turned away from the object, and faced the currently unconscious Derick. |

| Keyblade Wielder | Riku simply stood, shaking his head. He did not know the answers to Sakura's questions, so all he could do was stand there. He felt like he had been no help to his friends. Riku punched the wall of the cave and said, "How could I let this happen? If only... If only I could have done something. I should have went with him; I have been in darkness so long that I might be some help to him... considering where he is now. He is probably lost in the darkness, alone like I was." Riku stood and looked at the door. "We need to find him," Riku said with determination evident in his voice as he stared at the door intently. ------------ Emorene ran toward the cave, to find out what had occured. He had seen Riku, Sora, and someone else enter the cave earlier. If he was to continue to follow Sora, he needed to officially introduce himself and learn who everyone was. He intended to do so soon, for he feared that things could go wrong at any moment. He assumed that there would be very few peaceful times in the future. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | [Ahem. SAKURA. Not whoever-entered-the-cave-earlier. Besides, Sora had his time in the hero-light. Its time for a new hero to be born. I mean, heroine! ]Sakura shook her head. "No, It... It wasn't your fault..." She looked at her hand that she had grabbed Derik's hand with. She had been too weak to hold on, but It wasn't going to happen again. She was going to be as strong as she possibley could, and save her friend from the darkness, because his heart belonged in light. She could sense it from the start. Than she realised something. She had only just met Derik, but she cared so much for his well-being. Why? Maybe it was because Sakura's heart was kind, or because it was just something about him that made her worry about him. She caught a tear with her hand before it fell out of her eye. "R-Riku... Stop before I start crying again..." She managed a nervous laugh. It was hard not to cry, anyway, but she had to have an excuse not to look like a baby. |

| Made a Grown Man Cry. Epic | "Well, this is quite a turn of events!" Derick moaned, his fingers twitching as he fingered the floor as his way of figuring out where his current location was. The feeling of the floor differed from the one back at home which meant that he was no longer on Destiny Island with the others anymore. The boy attempted to open his eyes but they were to heavy at the moment but managed to do so. Lifting his head up slightly it became difficult for him to examine his surroundings as his vision was completely blurred. When they had finally focused and regained his full peripheral vision, Derick could see Sleif standing before him. "Wha - what am I doing here?" the Keybearer of Ultimatum questioned Sleif, unsure of what may happen now that he was here in this unknown location. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Do you always have to be so negative like that, Riku?" Sora asked rhetorically as he tapped Riku lightly behind his head. He then faced Sakura once more seeing that she had teared up once again but seemed to be all right at the same time. "Don't listen to him. I've known Derick for a few years already and I know how he is. Sure, there were times where he was just so confused but I know he'll steer himself in the right path. That path being the Light." |

Sunlight was beaming from the tunnel, which ment that the trouble was ending on Destiny Islands, but not the trouble in all. Derik was gone,a nd so was the 'Sleif' person who proved to be a giant threat to all of the young fighters. Both problems could be solved if they set out on a journey to solve them. The Keybearer of Love turned back to her friends. "He'll need some help," She said suddenly. "So are you ready for an adventure?" |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | ----------------------------------------- "Wha - what am I doing here?" Derick asked, from the cold ground, up towards Sleif. "Now, that is the question, isn't it!" Sleif replied, a slight grin on his face as he turned away from Derick, and started to walk away slowly. "Where you are, is not of importance at this moment in time!" said Sleif as he face Derick again, this time a couple of feet away from him. "What is important, is how you got here! For you see, you were swallowed up with the darkness, as it left the island!" Sleif said to Derick, as he sat onto a large pitch black chair. "What's interesting, is why you, and only you was swallowed, while the rest didn't receive even half as much trouble!" a grin was on Sleifs face as he said that. |

| Made a Grown Man Cry. Epic | "Now, that is the question, isn't it!" replied Sleif who had turned his back to the boy and walked away just a few feet. "What is important, is how you got here! For you see, you were swallowed up with the darkness, as it left the island!" he added afterwards before turning around and facing Derick once more, now standing a few feet away from him. "What's interesting, is why you, and only you was swallowed, while the rest didn't receive even half as much trouble!" Derick managed to get himself up onto his own two feet but remained standing in place rather than confronting Sleif. It was true. Taking another good look at the seemingly endless corridor, no one else not even Sakura were with him either. Afterwards he then shot a glare at the enemy before speaking. "So? What does that have to do with anything?" Then it hit him. Derick thought over what Sleif had mentioned and came to a conclusion soon after. "Unless. . . it has to do with that voice that was speaking to me back at the Secret Cave." he said, cocking an eyebrow. "Does it?" |

| Twilight Knight | OOC; sorry, i was afk for a while today, and this thing moves uber quick...i had to skip alot to catch up "We're ready!" Chimed Kairi and Namine together. They had both walked into the cave together a bit earlier, both shocked by the disappearance of Derick. Namine now wore a beige leather belt with a sheath, for her knife. Kairi walked over to Sakura and put her hand on her shoulder. "Dont even worry. Derick will be fine, because were gonna find him." She said, trying to smile. She knew it looked bad, but anything was possible. Maybe with everyone's help, including their new ally Emorene, they could find Derick and save him. She walked over to Riku, and said "Riku, you know alot about the dark realm...Do you have any idea where Derick might be?" She glanced back over at Sakura, and she knew she felt terrible. "We'll find him." |

Derick asked Sleif from across the room. "It appears so!" Sleif simply replied to Derick, as he stood up from the chair. "You are quite interesting! The only one of the group, able to hear it! Well, except your little friend, who has some power of her own!" Sleif said, clearly referring to Sakura. |

| Made a Grown Man Cry. Epic | Derick grunted when it came to the subject of the unknown voice. So, his presence in such a place like this had something to with the voice itself or the voice was just part of the real answer that had yet to be found out. His eyes was more focused on looking down at the floor when it came to listening in on what Sleif had to say but his head perked up when Sakura's name was brought into the conversation. Derick had no idea that his friend heard the voice as well, wondering why they were the only two who had the ability to hear it. "That still doesn't answer this. . . why am I here?" Derick asked Sleif from across the room, demanding answers. "So what if the voice has something to do with it - I want to know the ENTIRE reason as to why I'm here and don't you leave out anything." the boy added as he shot yet another glare at the so-called enemy. Hopefully this wouldn't turn out bad like it did back on Destiny Islands but Derick highly doubt that, wondering if he would be killed here any second now considering he was currently getting rather paranoid. |

"How DARE YOU ORDER ME!" Sleif replied back to Derick, his yellow eye had returned, replacing his red, before a large amount of shadow heartless appeared around the area, and an immense pressure of darkness radiated from him. Closing his eyes, Sleif regained himself, before opening and revealing his red eyes again. With a wave of his hand, the heartless stood down, and sank into the ground. "If you want to know why you are truly here, then I will tell you! You are here, because of the large amount of darkness in your heart! There is no other explanation for it! The darkness outweighed the light, and so you were pulled into the darkness, along with the heartless!" said Sleif. |

| Made a Grown Man Cry. Epic | Derick clenched both hands into fists again once seeing the way Sleif reacted after being ordered. But a smirk came to the boy's face instead of fear, chuckling lightly to himself so he wouldn't hear and go overboard more than he was already. He relaxed his hands and then stood up straight, bringing up his arms and crossed them over his chest. The smirk quickly faded once Sleif called off his little Heartless minions and soon became serious once again. "If you want to know why you are truly here, then I will tell you! You are here, because of the large amount of darkness in your heart! There is no other explanation for it! The darkness outweighed the light, and so you were pulled into the darkness, along with the heartless!" Darkness. That was the reason? Nothing else? Could what Sleif had explained be true? Was there a large amount of Darkness growing deep within Derick's heart? But it just couldn't be true, it just couldn't. But now when the boy thought about it, it seemed to be. He looked back the last few years of his teenage life and recalled several moments where he would be confused about who he was. Then there were times where he would have these temptations to hurt those around him, most of them having no reasons whatsoever. "Is. . . is that true. . .?" |

The object in the middle, still giving off a green light, in the otherwise dark area. |
