Namine's body grew rigid as Roxas held her hand, but she relaxed, and held his hand back. She suddenly had courage to fight, but with ho weapon, she was as useful as a doll. I dont think I will be leaving your side anytime soon. She hoped what she said was true, since she had no control over destiny...She smiled up at Roxas anyways, glad he was here with her. More than anyone else, her connection to Roxas had only grown since they were set free.

Kairi beamed back at Sakura, and she summoned her own keyblade. It shone in the light, beams of color refracting from the flowers that lay encrested on it. She held it in a fighting stance, but turned slowly around as Dericks name was mentioned. "Derick... where is he?" She saw Sakura turn and run up the beach, hacking away at the heartless in her path. Kairi began to fear for her safety, and called after her. "Sakura!" She started to run after her, but heartless blocked her path. She attacked them with a quick combo, and then started running again. Sakura had run into her and Soras "Secret Place."

[Emorene]

Emorene watched as one of the Keyblade Wielders ran off, toward a cave nearby. Suddenly, he was overcome with a sudden urge to follow her. "The Keyhole!" Shouted Emorene as the realization sank in. She was going toward the Keyhole. Emorene couldn't decide at first whether to stay there or follow the the Keyblade Wielder who was going into the cave. Emorene stood still, unwilling to leave Sora and the others alone with the man before them. He sensed great malevolence in the man, a desire to destroy. Emorene was familiar with his kind. No doubt this man was just another pawn in a much larger battle. Just like Xehanort, Maleficent, and a few others he had the unfortune of meeting during his many travels. They thought themselves masters of darkness, but they were just puppets. It was the one who controlled the puppets that needed to be stopped, but Emorene did know who this was, and he doubted even Yen Sid knew who was really behind all of this.

The man noticed that the girl was escaping, and tried to trap her, but he was too slow. Furiously, he noticed another girl was retreating up onto the island, and this time he wouldn't let them go. He wanted to have some fun, and that wouldn't happen if all of them escaped. He set up a barrier of darkness and made sure that Kairi never left.

[Shadows Fall]

"Th - they won't. . .?" Now Derick was just confused. He was unsure whether to believe the voice or not as he then heard a familiar voice enter the cave, this time belonging to Sakura instead. He turned around slowly and face her when she caught up with him. "Sakura. . . what are you doing here?" he asked her as the voice became more booming.

"Focus! She's just here to distract you from your desires! the voice shouted in an attempt to grasp onto the boy's attention again and lead him down on the wrong path.

"But. . . but she - she actually came to look for me!" Derick shouted back at the voice as he then grasped onto his head with both hands, losing his train of thought at the current moment. He was just so confused and was still unsure if he should actually believe the voice when clearly Sakura actually came back for him. He stumbled over to the door without knowing as various threads of blacks and purples escaped from inside the doorway and began to wrap themselves around the boy. "Sakura, I - I don't know what to do. . ."

[Emorene]

Emorene watched as a barrier of pure darkness was summoned before the Keyblade Wielder, making it so that she could not pass through. Emorene sensed that there were at least two in the cave with the Keyhole, but that is all he knew. "Tell me, who are you!" Shouted Emorene at the man who had created the barrier and summoned the Heartless and Nobodies. "You know that you are no match for all of us! Tell us who you are and I may consider allowing you to leave this world in one piece. I'm not sure if the others are so merciful, though."

Emorene, as he waited for the man's reply, sensed that something was happening inside the cave. Emorene had to find out what was happening, so he ran toward the barrier or darkness. Emorene extended his hand, and a hole appeared in the barrier and remained there just long enough for Emorene to pass through before disappearing. Emorene then ran toward the cave; with every step he sensed more darkness exuding from the Keyhole.

Sakura watched in horror as the darkness began to swallow Derik. She didn't know what to do, either, but she didn't dare show how scared she was. She swallowed down hard and ran at the door, and slipped her hand into his. "D-Derik... Hold... Hold on!" She called, fighting not to tear up.
Maybe the power of light could win over the darkness. She focused her light power into Derik, and a bright white color pulsed from her hand. The darkness began to recoil and pull back.
WHAT IS HAPPENING? the voice shouted, this time Sakura was able to hear it. She began to pull Derik from the darkness. her heart swelled with an unbrakable will and she pulled harder, succeeding in rescuing her friend.
"Your okay," She told him in a calm, soft and reassuring voice.

[Emorene]

Emorene entered the cave and saw a surprising sight. "What is happening?" Emorene heard a voice infused with great evil before the darkness that had engulfed one of the other two in the room retreated into the door nearby. "The Keyhole...?" Said Emorene as he approached the door and placed his hand on it. He then noticed the Keyhole on the door, and looked toward the nearest Keyblade Wielder, the girl in the cave. "How much do you know of Keyholes?" Emorene asked as he held his hand on the door.

[Shadows Fall]

Derick could feel himself being slowly dragged into the depths of the mysterious door, his body stiffening up as he was practically immobilized. But then Sakura had reached out and grabbed a hold of his hand in order to stop him from going in any deeper. His eyes widened when he saw that she wouldn't give up at all, not wanting to let go of her hand as he then began to pull himself towards her. The threads were not going to let go either until there was a blinding light that suddenly engulfed the interior of the cave, causing the threads to weaken and die out. Unaware of what Sakura had transferred over to him, he felt himself being released from the Darkness and dragged over to his friend.

Panting and breathing heavily, the boy looked over at the door and turned to face Sakura.

"Sakura. . . you - you saved me." Derick whispered to her, having a random outburst by hugging her close. "Thank you." he whispered into her ear as he let go slowly, the cave now shaking uncontrollably almost as if there was an earthquake taking place and the source of it was coming from the door itself as an insignia of a Keyhole made up entirely of light formed within the door. "The heck is that?"

[Emorene]

"Well," said Emorene with a smile nearly forming, "It would appear that one of us here knows little to nothing about Keyholes. What of you?" As Emorene finnished speaking he turned to face the girl in the cave. "You wield a Keyblade," said the man, "Surely you know something of Keyholes? What's your name, anyway?" Emorene seemed unfazed about how the cave had just shook, as if he was used to this by now.

Kairi burst away from the wall of darkness surrounding her, slashing through it with her keyblade. Where had everybody gone? She gave a quick nod to Sora before taking off after Sakura again. She ran panting, into the "Secret Place" out of breath from all the attacking she had done along the way. She silenced her heavy breathing, making her way on tip toe through the narrow entry way of the cave. She stayed hidden around the corner as she heard multiple voices, belonging to Sakura and Derick, and the Emorene fellow.

She was able to pick up the words "keyhole" and "wielder" but not much else. She slowly stuck her head out from behind the corner, every so slightly peeking at the people in the cave.

The figure watched as a few of the children, as well as the mysterious man, had ran off towards the keyhole of the world. "So, everything is going as planned!" the figure said with a smile, before turning towards Sora and the rest.

"I have grown tired of this world! Have fun with this!" said the figure as he raised his hand towards the heartless.
Suddenly a rather large group of them instantly melted and started to form into a single pool of darkness. From the darkness, a large shape began to take form, with large blazing yellow eyes, and a huge heart shaped hole in it's stomach.

The Darkside, loomed over the group, awaiting for its masters orders. "Good, now have fun!" the figure said before completely disappearing, lowering the barrier at the same time.
The Darkside reared back, as it launched its huge fist towards Kairi, and Sora.

In the Secret Place, the figure emerged from a large swirl of darkness, to find Sakura, Derick, and Emorene standing around.
"Well, I guess we can all talk now!" said the figure. "But before we do, I guess I should introduce myself!" he said as he removed his hood, that blocked his face. As it fell back, the figures shoulder length silver hair could be seen, along with his red piercing eyes, and light tanned skin.

"My name, is Sleif!" he said, as he approached the small group, Derick in particular. "You heard it, didn't you!" Sleif said with a slight grin.

[Emorene]

Emorene laughed before saying to Sleif, "I have heard the names of many fools during my journeys, how am I supposed to know yours by heart?" Emorene then looked Sleif in the eyes and said, "Now the question is: Do you know who I am?" With his dagger in hand, and two allies in the cave, Emorene felt confident in that nothing could go completely wrong. He just wished Sora was there to seal the Keyhole, for the Keyblader with them appeared not to know of what they were. Then, Emorene turned around to see Kairi, a girl he had heard much of from Yen Sid. "Seal the Keyhole," Emorene said to Kairi so quietly that it was impossible for Sleif to overhear. If Kairi could seal the Keyhole, the odds would change in their favor. No doubt Sleif was just here to consume the world's heart in darkness, and therefore he would not want the Keyhole sealed.

"I know full well who you are, Emorene , or should I say, freak!" Sleif said towards Emorene. "I know all about the experiments done on you, as well as much about your life!" Said Sleif as he walked towards them.
Looking down, Sleif noticed that Emorene held his dagger in his hands, and seemed to have been rather confident in the situation.

"Do you really think, that these pathetic children can even pale in comparison to my powers!" Sleif said as he raised his hand forward, summoning and surrounding the area with Samurai Nobodies. "And this may be familiar, for you!" Sleif said towards Kairi, as he turned his hand towards the large door with a keyhole on it.

At that moment, a powerful mist of darkness started to seep from the cracks of the door, bellowing and covering the floor of the cave rather quickly. Lowering his hand, Sleif slowly turned towards the small group, almost in a trance like state.

"This world has been connected! Tied to the darkness! Soon to be completely eclipsed!"Sleif said, his face slightly changed. The only difference from before was that his left eye instead of being red was bright yellow.

"You cannot stop what is happening now! This world will disappear, along with everyone on it! I suggest you get as many people as you can, off this pathetic little world" said Sleif, a twisted grin on his face.

[I don't think Kairi can close keyholes, for she isn't a chosen weilder. =/]
Sakure blushed red when Derik held her tightly, than wished he hadn't let go when he did. his nerves seemed on-edge, and he wasn't ready for anything. At least for now, she had to make sure he was safe.
Than Emorene entered the cave and spoke something of a key and keyhole. "Sakura," She replied dryly to the man's question on who she was.

Sakura didn't know what the two men were talking about, but she had an idea on how to lock the door. She summoned her sword and pointed it to the source of the darkness. She concentrated, and a light shot from her blade into the door, locking up a keyhole that only just appeared. She watched the darkness recoil once more, but not completely destroy it. It seemed to weaken the shadows that were swallowing everything.

The girl than looked over at the enemy. He looked weakened by the light, aswell. They may not be able to defeat him yet, but they could make surehe didn't come to Destiny Island again. She gripped her keyblade with one hand and made an angry fist with the other. She walked up to beside Emorene and smiled. Her keyblade was lowing a radiant white and pink color.

[Emorene]

Emorene looked shocked when he saw Sleif's eye turn yellow, and he was startled by what the man had said. "You speak the words of the fool Xehanort! If you truly know who I am, than you know that the only reason I am a 'freak' is because of that mad man. You think you are the only one that can summon Nobodies, Sleif? You underestimate me! Everyone, attack! We may not be able to defeat him, but we will make him regret attacking this world!" Emorene then threw his dagger forward, its black blade stabbing into Sleif's chest. With a wave of Emorene's hand, white forms began to sprout from the ground. Berserker Noboies appeared, and struck down the Samurai Nobodies. As the Nobodies fought, Emorene summoned several Dark Ball Heartless into existance. The Heartless immediatly began to attack Sleif, Emorene comanding them. Summoning the Heartless and Nobodies had taken a lot out of Emorene, who slowly felt his power weakening.
