"what the heck Kayato groaned as he stood up and glanced at his surroundings. he looked at his palm and saw a black pin sitting in it."where did that come from Kayato wondered aloud. he put the pin in one of his pockets then his other pocket vibrated."huh? Kayato said reaching into his pocket. he took out a cellhpone and on the mini screen it said: 1 New Text message.
he flipped open the cellphone and it read:


hello new stupid player! your mission is to:

CLIMB. FIRESCAPE.

FAILURE TO COMPLIE WILL RESULT IN ERASURE. YOU HAVE 60 MINUTES



"w-what Kayato said horrified. suddenly he felt a searing pain in his right hand."aughh! Kayato cried as his hand burned. when the pain stopped he saw a timer on his palm saying: 60:00.

Kayato looked to his right and saw a huge building with a firescape going all the way to the top. it looked insanely high."60 mintues are you kidding Kayato said. he looked at his hand again and it said 59:00.no choice then!. he broke into a run sprinting as fast as he could towards the building. everyminute counted. the time was ticking down. he only had so much time before he...he pushed the thought aside and picked up his speed as a line of swet ran down his forehead. he hadn't even noticed the other people until now. that would make it harder. then he would just have to try harder. his life depended on it.

The ground shook harshly as Noise appearing as wolves appeared and a peculiar guy jumped off a building, creating the crater that threw off Haine's balance.
Looking at the guy, Haine muttered 1 word.

Reaper.

Quickly taking out her pin, Haine assessed her strengths. It would be hard to get around this guy since she only gotten used to her power now and the claws of the Wolf Noise could tear her into shreads. Also, this guy's the Reaper. Duh.

As the Noise advanced onto her and her newly found partner, she looked back at Ryuu with determined eyes, which meant:

1) Her partner needs to get used to getting indirect messages.

2) She isn't going to back down without a fight.

The game has started. There's no turning back.

[Sora the warrior]

Sora noticed someone almost all the players had partners but where was his? He noticed wolf Noise begin to surround him. He looked at his palm.

Teeth grindind each other he took the pin in his hand and slammed it to the ground. Fire erupted from the ground and upward to the Wolf Noise, blowing them up in a fiery hellfire.

[-Arcana-X-]

Haine's eyes looked over to another player smashing down his pin on the concrete which creating a wall of fire. Which destroyed a ton of those Noise.

Sweet.

Smirking, she readied herself for an all-out attack. Or just waiting for her partner to recover from shock.

[Rhapsody Flows]

She wanted to follow the conductor into that freaky portal, knowing that it would lead to somewhere in Shibuya. But, Cam also knew that she was in no condition to fight those Players even if she wanted to. So, reluctantly, she let Sleif head toward Shibuya without her.

Cam bit her lip when she realized that she was back to square one. "Damn, now I'm feelin' bored all over again," the female muttered while looking down at her injured arm. She lifted it up, figuring that testing out her wounded arm to see if it was any better would be a good idea. She started with her forearm, extending to see if the pain was still there. As she did, no pain seemed to surge or make her wince. So it seemed to be alright, but she still did not want to push herself too hard, and decided not to use it much until later.

She then went to her back. Slowly, she started to straighten up her spine, her posture becoming more proper than it had been in a long time. Swiftly, pain rushed to Cam's back when she was in an upright stance. In response, the young woman winced and quickly let go of her stance, her shoulders not too perfect, but not too slumped either - just the way Cam liked it. Ok, so the back still needed a bit of work.

Cam then glanced around the empty headquarters. When she first got here, there were four Reapers, but now, there was only Cam left. What luck she had! The her being the only one to not be able to torment any Players! The Reaper frowned as she walked over to the couch. Sitting down, she rested her right arm on the arm of the couch and set her chin on her palm.

It was quiet, and the only noise that could be heard was her low sigh that escaped through her nostrils. This was a perfect atmosphere for getting some sleep, Cam had thought. Maybe should would take a quick rest. It was better than staying up in an empty building for the whole time while the other Reapers were gone. Besides, it would only be a quick nap; nothing like a real, deep sleep.

Without another thought, Camaruka closed her eyeslids, letting darkness become the only thing that she could make out. As the Reaper tried to get some rest, she also began to ponder about how nice it would feel to get back at those Players who had damaged her arm and back. How sweet that would be. . . Cam's face turned into a melicious smile as she drifted into a sleep.

[Takushi Rena]

"RIKU!!"

The brown haired boy was taken from his run to glancing towards the source of the tomboy's voice. His anxiety spiked when he realized that a tiger was running straight towards him; definitely with the intention to shred him to pieces! With haste, the boy slid to the side, narrowly dodging out of the way of the rampaging wild cat. What was a tiger doing in the middle of Shibuya? A black one, no less!

Well, this was a weird day, and a game, too. He should've expected that sort of thing...

"Chrono Strike!!" he cried just after pointing his palm at the wild tiger. He awaited for the red energy to quickly escape from him and cut its way through the cat, but no avail. Nothing came. Nothing ever came. Why wasn't his ability working...

"What the-- ERGH!!" Riku soon found himself being rammed in the side by the crazed black creature, its head slamming into his side and sending the player tumbling backwards. He was flat on his back, but he briskly crawled back to his feet, in case that cat was trying to attack him once again. Yet, the tiger wasn't the only one around anymore. A cheetah, a lion, a leopard, a jaguar, a cougar, a lynx, and a panther had appeared to take care of those players standing around idly, nearby or otherwise: Kyo, Kusari, Akira, Haine, Sora, Ryuu and Zakuku. The cheetah and lynx were heading towards Ryuu and Haine; the lion was going for Kyo; the jaguar and cougar's prey were Akira and Zakuku; the leopard wanted Sora; and the panther had it's sights on Kusari. All of these cats were black and shadow-like. And very, very lethal indeed.

However, unlike Riku, Kusari's arm was pure black. Yet, it couldn't manage to attack the shadow creature; but the shadow creature couldn't attack Kusari's arm either! The tomboy tempted to scratch through the panther with that arm, realizing that she completely failed to make a scratch. Just great...

Their pockets both vibrated again. And, though, both of them had their hands full with insane cats, they still tempted to read the new message they received. Everyone on this mission seemed to get it as well...

P.S. No abilities allowed here! Unless there's shadows involved... even though shadows can't harm shadows! You better get used to using pins and psychs...

Kusari gave a growl as she shoved her phone back into her pocket and ran around the black panther chasing her; funny thing was that it didn't really seem to attack...

"What's a 'psych'!?"

[Sora the warrior]

"Psych?" Sora cried as he was jumped on top of by the leapord. This sent his phone flying away. He hit the ground hard as the leopard raised it's claw. Sora attached his pin on the claw(made of tattoo) and sweeped his hand umder the other leg to make it give way. The leopard fell as Sora scrambled away. He snapped the fingers on his laeft hand and the pin exploded. Sora ran to look at his phone.

"Dammit..." He cursed under his breath in horror. The screen was cracked, allowing the liquid within to darken up the screen, scratched were across the cell phone but the screen was Sora's focus. How was he supposed to play the 'Game' now if his screen was broken? On top of that he still had no partner which he found essential since everyone else did. And to make matters worse, the leopard was recovering from it's injury and growinling, walking slowly after Sora.

"Damn...what am I supposed to do now?!" Sora muttered.

[Sora_Rox_My_Sox]

"You've got that one right, kiddo. Good luck." Shouted the reaper. He lazily sat atop a lamp post, looking down upon Zakuku and Akira. With the snap of his fingers, they were instantly surrounded by frog noise. Before she had the chance to take the offensive, her palm burned with a firery pain. 79:30

The bright red letters etched into her skin were counting down with each passing second, one less second to run, one less second to survive. She grabbed Zakuku and pulled him away from an attacking frog, her mind racing. Maybe i can use my ability... She thought as she drove a kick into an approaching frog. Akira tried to acces the reapers mind, but it was as if a wall was there. She tried again, concentrating all her energy into breaking the barriers, but nothing happened.

What the hell? Why isnt it- Her thinking was cut short when a frog launched at her from behind. She spun and sent her foot deep into its stomach, then attepmted to dodge another attack, this one barely clipping her shoulder. She reached into her pocket, trying to grab a pin, but instead she grabbed her phone. She quickly flipped it open, and looked at the new text she had received while she was fighting.

Akira cried, and the dark allyway was suddenly illuminated with a bright crack of lightning. She shielded her eyes as the intenseity of the light was overwhelming.

The wolf Noise growled as their comrades were destroyed and once again, split up to their individual targets. Shouten, still in his Crusher Wolf form, ran forward and jumped forward, giving the effect of sliding. He slid forward, the eart 'rippling' under the pressure as well as waves of concrete.

Shouten jumped backward and transformed into his human form back, landing on the floor with his eyes glowing and that oh-so-intimidating smile which showed those feral canines. Shouten sunk his nails into the earth and bounded forward.

As Sleif looked upon the reapers, playing with the players, a pair stood out from the rest. From their location, which was from an alley, an intense bright light erupted.
"It seems they're getting a grasp on the pins!" Sleif said to himself, with a slight grin.

"Damn...what am I supposed to do now?!" upon hearing that, Sleif looked in the opposite direction to see a single player, running away from a leopard Noise. Sleif could also tell, that the boy's phone had been damaged during that fight, and so wouldn't be able to survive long in the game.

A large grin, slowly began to form on Sleifs face, as he instantly disappeared before reappearing infront of the boy.
"Having a little trouble are we!" Sleif said to Sora, as he pointed towards the cracked phone, and the quickly recovering leopard.

[Jet]

Zakuku was dragged off, and he read the new text, He now couldent use his Fire Rush ability, where he could suck heat in, and fire it with his will. Zakuku quickly pulled a pin from his pockets, and then flipped it into the air, catching it mid-flight. "Fire Arm!" he yelled, his arm lighting on fire, cutting right through the animals, or the Noise. He wasnt sure. Just then a white lighting bolt zipped past him, blinding him. It was Akira.

Zakuku just kept slicing through the enemys with use of his pin.

[Sora the warrior]

Sora looked to the Reaper in front of him.

"What the- who are you? Are you on my side?" Sora asked, oblivious to the fact that this is one of the guys forcing him to play the game. He got into a fighting stance just in case. He looked over to the leapord.

"Damn....what the hell is going on?!" Sora muttered.

[Archetype00x]

"'Fraid not, kiddo. In this game, if you don't have you partner," he gestured to where Zakuku was dragged off. "You're on your own." Takeshii snapped his phone shut and a trio of Bear Noise appeared in front of Sora. "Oh," he began to add as he stood up, preparing to depart. "If your partner gets erased...

You have about seven minutes to live. Peace." He turned, and gave a small solute, and then vanished in a cloud of dark energy. He'd done his part by confronting the players - besides, by the looks of them, most of them wouldn't survive past the next mission.

"I could use a nap."

Sora looked in horror at the Noise about to confront him.

"Seven minutes? What the hell kind of rule is-" Sora began being cut off by the Bear Noise claw hitting him away. "D-damn it...I need to find a partner and fast. My timer's clicking down."

He found a pin in his pocket.
"Hope this works! Here we go!" He said as the pin glowed. A huge sword came crashing down upon the Noise, hurting them badly.
"This gives me time to get away and find a partner!" He said running not too far from the other Players. He began frantically searching for an open member. He looked and saw a Player using fire.
"He'll do, for now." He said. He had no idea he ran exactly where Zakuku was dragged off.
"Hey!" Sora cried. "Be my partner!" He cried to him.
