Final Fantasy – The Pearl Necklace

The world called Spectra has always been peaceful. It has always been a place wear the sun shines and the rain falls where it’s meant to. In other words, Spectra is just a normal world full of magic….normal.

In the past month or two, Spectra has been covered in darkness and fiends have been in the city street and attacking people. People have resulted in violence and the criminal rate has been rising non-stop. Well, in short, everything and everything is acting really strange.

A rumour, no a poem has been told across Spectra, that was found on an ancient scroll. A legend written by our ancestors, ancestors. That when Spectra breaks into havoc and it’s covered with darkness.

The end of that World.

No one knows if the legend is true but the story goes as follows;

Let me tell you the legend,
A story long foretold,
A rumour you say,
Information of old.

They say in the future,
When the people die,
And when the darkness falls,
From your liquid sky.

The end of your world.

So what do they want?
But you want a clue,
Seek the Pearl Necklace,
Is a saviour good enough for you?

So you want to know what the Pearl Necklace is? Well some people refer to it as our saviour of the people, hinting the words of the poem. But all we know is that no one has it or does anyone know what it is. But there are some people that believe the legend and wont stand there to watch Spectra get flushed down the toilet.

Mythral awoke, like she did everyday. She got up, got dressed and washed her face from the fresh water from the lake, like she did everyday. Mythral always loved the water from the lake in the village. The Elders hut is were Mythral lived, her daily ritual resided of walking out to the shops and doing the daily shopping, then she'd go for a long walk and visit the younger children of the village, and then she'd go to the nursery to visit all the little new born Moogles. She did this every day. And, to Mythral, today didn't seem any different to every other day. But it was.

Mythral walked from the lake searching for things to do. She found flowers and decided to pluck them from the ground. She decided to walk to the Nursery to visit the Moogles. When she got there, the woman asked if she’d like to go and play with them, she always liked to but sometimes she just likes to watch them. She likes to see the Moogles play and fight.

It’s always boring for Mythral, she doesn’t work or do anything, and her father is the main elder. The one that found the scroll about the Pearl Necklace. It’s really hard having a famous father; you don’t get to do anything because you have too much money. Mythral just tried her hardest to act like a normal kid.

She found herself heading back to the Elders Hut, to see her father and she saw a black figure entering the Elder Hut’s gates. Slaye?

Slaye staring blankly in to a window eyeing of food in a house drooling he sits without moving, Moog pops his little head out the top of Slayes bandanna and looks around, he flutters for a moment gaining his balance in the air, Moog flies around Slayes head in a panic trying to get his attention .
Slaye still blankly staring at food with a hungry look on his face shake his head and snaps out of his daze swatting at Moog, Moog flies around Slayes face this time grabbing at his nose like she’s trying to tell him something Slaye grabs her and muffles her into his shirt, she sticks her head out with an angry look.

Slaye looks away from the window and into the sky “hmmm judging by the sun its about 12:00pm and I have to be at Mythral’s now! O crap, o crap! She said its important that I be there by now” Moog looks up at Slaye and squeaks “ kupo!” Slaye rushes through the village toward the Elders Hut he slows down and sees a woman gleaming in the sun. He squints to see who it is “Mythral?…”

Bakura was riding his chocobo as fast as he could. He had been invited to the Elders Hut today for information on the Pearl Necklace. He arrived at the hut and ran inclosing the door behind him. Inside already was Mythral and Slaye. He was puzzled. Why were they here today? Bakura looked at them both and said, "Looks like we're having a little party!" smiling. This must be and important day.

Kravorin felt the wind oull hish air all around, it was as if it never anted him to go. But he had to, the Elder's Hut wasn't that far away. And neither was the answer to the poem that had been driving him mad. No matter what. He would find the answer to what had took everything away. There was the hut and there was already a group of people there.

Bakura turned around to see Kravorin. Bakura now knew that this must be a very serious occation for all these people to be here. "Hows it going Kravorin" Bakura said with a cheerful smile.

Kravorin walked up to the group now. There was Bakura. Kravorin nodded at him but didn't say anything. Why was he here? Why were all these people here?

Of course Kravorin said nothing, he hadn't changed at all. Bakura could see he was puzzled that everyone else was here. They must all have been here for the same reason, that reason was to find out abou the pearl. Bakura had been called here by Optos for the same reason. This pearl was so mysterious, Bakura could tell that a hard road was ahead.

"Hera!" A voice shouted through the castle hallways. A beautiful woman
in a long stunning white and silver dress was in the library
doing research at a desk. "I found some information on the Pearl." The man said as he welcomed himself into the library and then leanded on the desk. "What did you find?" Hera asked quickly. "You could find information at the Elder's Hut." The man replied with ease. "So, you gonna head out?" He asked as he looked out of the large arched window that gave veiw to the town. "Right now." Hera said as she got up.

"People of Greshtall, Spectra has recently began to face chaos. And there is a prochecy stating that a pearl necklace will save us. So I Princess Hera Kala will leave on search for this Pearl Necklace, so that Greshtall, as well as Spectra will have peace once again." Hera announced from a large balcony on her castle, that was laid out in front of the town.

"No, i don't want any protection, i can handle things myself, besides, the guards will just slow things down." Hera said as she was in a white shirt and skirt, with white boots and fighting gloves. "It seem like it was only yesterday that the people of Greshtall hated the idea of you ruling, but now they don't want you to go because you might die." The man said. "I know..." Hera said as she bowed her head. "Thinking of your mom and dad?" The man asked. "Cid, i'm leaving the thrown to you in my absence, and don't do anything foolish. Tik keep an eye on him while i'm gone." Hera said to Cid, then to a Moogle that was walking by her side. "Yes mam!" Tik said.

~Present~

A ship split through the sparkling blue waves of the ocean, makeing it's way to the sandy shore.

"Finally, i'm here." Hera said as she stepped into the grainy sand, leaving foot prints in her path. She made her way through the beach and to the town, to see the Elder's Hut. As the hut came into veiw, she noticed people making their way into the hut as well.

It was Slaye, an old friend. And they talked for a little bit until other people that she knew from her past were coming up to her. This was weird and Mythral didn't have any idea what they were doing here. Someone said that they were her by request from the Elder Optos, her father. She told the group to follow her. As she walked into the Hut she asked, "Father, did you bring these people here?"

"Yes, Mythral, I did." He said an held out a welcoming hand to the people. "These people are to guide you to Faralla Cave."

"Faralla Cave?" She questioned, "But why father, that is were you found the scroll about the Pearl."

"You will venture to Faralla Cave, and seek the Necklace. The times of Spectra's peace have some to an end. The Pearl might help. Even if it doesn't it’s the only hope, and the only thing that will give people hope. Your journey starts tomorrow. You rest tonight. I know this must seem sudden people, but we have to act now before it's to late. First go to the town of Yuran and seek the elder of that town.”

Everyone looked stunned, but in Mythral's head she thought of the goodness in this adventure. Something different. She would sleep, walk, and talk in places that she hasn't before. A smile almost broke on her frowning face. They leave tomorrow.

OCC: Sorry about the crappy post but I really just wanna get out of the Elders Hut and get on with the real story. By the way, it will take a while to get to the cave. To put it easier it’s like Yuna and her Guardians traveling to Zanarkand. x]

Her continued to make her way to the hut; she welcomed herself in. As Hera made in, she saw a group of people together, looks as if they were planing something. "Excuse me, but i was told that i could find information on the Pearl Necklace! So what can you tell me?" Hera said like a true leader.

A young girl came in the doors of the hut, and Mtyhral turned to face to open doors. They girl stood there and suddenly asked Optos a question, "Excuse me, but i was told that i could find information on the Pearl Necklace! So what can you tell me?"

Optos got up of his chair and made his way toward the girl, "Ah, Princess Hera Kala, what does the Pearl bring you so far from Greshtall? Will you seek the Pearl no matter what?"

Mythral knew of the Princess, she was the face of Greshtall. Would she help Mythral find the Pearl. She hoped so.

"Ah, Princess Hera Kala, what does the Pearl bring you so far from Greshtall? Will you seek the Pearl no matter what?"

"You must be Elder Optos. Greshtall, is slowly becoming wrapped up by chaos, and i will stop at nothing to protect Greshtall." Hera replied to Optos.

Hera noticed a young girl looking at her; Hera just turned and smiled at her.

It had been a very long time since Mordecai gazed at this beautiful place. Here, as he had so many years ago when he was but a child, he stared over the river and eyed the Elder's Hut. The same shaggy, yet captivatingly intricate structure stood in the same exact place. He squinted and walked forward, bru8shing past the bushes in his way. Then, he waded across the small creek and made his way toward the hut. Carefully, he opened the door.

Already there were people here. For some odd reason, he was expecting to be the first one to arrive. Which was odd of him, considering the long journey it took to get there. A smile broke from his dry lips and made a pleasant crack of white teeth on his face. His eyes drifted along from one person to the next until he memorized each of their appearances. The one that caught him by surprise was Hera Kala. He knew of her, had seen her before, but had never actually met her. Those thoughts aside, he continued to venture into the hut, one single question on his mind.

"Did I miss the instructions?" Just after he spoke his words seemed to die to silence. It was quiet for a few moments.

Hope you don't mind I posted. I was just in the mood to write a short little something.

After Hera took a seat Mythral's eye sight shifted to the large doors of the hut once again. A young man stood in the golden arches which was the door. She noticed that her fathers attention was also at the young man, he had his head tilted to the side a little as he spoke, "Did I miss the instructions?"

Optos, replied with, "There is always room for more. Why don't you take a seat? I just finished making the explanation that you are all here for you want information on the Pearl. If you do, you will travel to Faralla Cave guiding my daughter, she has never left the perimeter of this Village. Your knowledge will serve her well. You leave in the morning."

Mythral thought that she should stand up and give a few words for they would be guiding her to the Pearl, "Thank you everyone for coming. This means everything to me. And exchange of your protection I will promise that we will find the Pearl Necklace and restore peace to Spectra."

OCC: I'm sort of approaching a Yuna and her Guardians plot thing. If you get what I mean.

Right after Hera asked her question a man came into the hut and asked "Did I miss the instructions?"

The room became silent as everybody looked at him, what supprised her was that it was Prince Mordecai Royland Ammecrine. "Prince Mordecai Royland Ammecrine, nice to finally meet you. Out of all the places." Hera said as she got up to shake his hand.

Optos, replied with, "There is always room for more. Why don't you take a seat? I just finished making the explanation that you are all here for you want information on the Pearl. If you do, you will travel to Faralla Cave guiding my daughter, she has never left the perimeter of this Village. Your knowledge will serve her well. You leave in the morning." Mythrl then stood up, "Thank you everyone for coming. This means everything to me. And exchange of your protection I will promise that we will find the Pearl Necklace and restore peace to Spectra."

"EH." Hera squeeked as she rested her right elbow on the table, and put her hand out with a confused face. "Don't mean to sound rude, but what use are you? You have never traveled. Do you specialize in something? Magick, maps, fighting, what?" Hera questioned Mythrl.
