A lot of characters I just don't see point in killing, that would definatley include Ron and Hermione. All it would do is piss off Harry even more.

I have a feeling (though it's more of a hope) that's it's like in book 5, the whole gang against the death eaters. Mostly, I'm hoping that Neville and Luna show up again.

Unless it turned out that he actually was loyal to Dumbledore, and Dumbledore actually requested Snape that if he had to, he would kill him in order to still infiltrate and sabotage Voldemort? Voldemort may be the world's best legilmens, but Snape is the world's best oclumens.

I still couldn't believe Snape did that to Dumbledore... I really thought he was loyal... I mean, I never liked him, but I never thought he'd turn out to be evil! He was just mean and cranky all the time, but I never thought he'd become such a backstabber.

I believe Dumbledore's death was planned between Snape and him.

That issue is still in the air. Besides none of us actually knows what's going to be revealed in the final book. What you said was by initial reaction too but you have to think about it a little more to truly be convinced if he really was a bad person or a good person.

I am convinced Dumbledore and Snape planned it. Only thing I don't get is Dumbledore would've told someone like Harry, or McGonagall about the plan so Snape could pass info to them. Anyways, JKR has changed the name of the seventh Harry Potter book very recently to something she thought sounded better.

Well, I prefer to side on Snape being loyal since there's more proof towards it.

Evidence for Snape's Loyalty:
-That one thing Snape did to convince Dumbledore
-Snape has the perfect position to spy on Voldemort.
-Hagrid mentions Dumbledore was argueing with Snape about Snape doing something that he didn't want to do, I assume that would mean killing Dumbledore if needed.
-By killing Dumbledore, Snape has guaranteed that Voldemort will never again question Snape's loyalty.
- If Voldemort knows that Snape is loyal to Dumbledore, he would have still let him go through with his work, so Dumbledore could be killed.

Evidence for Snape's Evil...ness:
-Killed Dumbledore (A wee bit obvious)
-Has the perfect arguement that he's loyal to Voldemort.
-Had the perfect position to spy on Dumbledore.


...At least, that's all I can think of. I simply think there's more proof that Snape is loyal to Dumbledore, though he could not be.

Same reason here. It seems more likely he's on our side if you think about it. Mugglenet convinced me. Anyone else think(know more like) that R.A.B is Regulus Black?

Regulus is certainly a possibility. Why would Voldemort personally kill him if he simply wimped out? The only doubts on it was that Regulus wasn't known as a great wizard.

Actually, Sirius said Voldemort didn't personally kill him, rather, he sent people.

Snape's loyalty is still a mystery to me. I want to believe he was loyal but the whole killing Dumbledore kind of throws you off... ^_^" I just can't believe there's only one more book yet. I hope we get to find out what happens to Harry when he grows up...if he grows up...

well i dont trust snape one bit i use to before but now he went to the extent of killing dumbledore (which really sucked) but anyways snape has lost my trust...
