I think you should read some of the other books cuz I didn't even go past chapter 4 in the 1st one but i really liked all the others.Maybe you aren't the type of person who likes books like that.

I have read all of the HP books i find them mind numbingly boring after the 4th one.The first three were ok but after the third book all the books started to become predictable.

Ive read all of them so far, i mostly enjoyed the fourth, fith and sixth. But, im more interested in books like Scarecrow by Matthew Reilly, or Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.
I just hope the last book comes out before i lose interest in the series.

I just don't LIKE the books very much. I have nothing against ppl that have read the book sad like them. I have lots of friends that like the books. threw my eyes the books just don't grab my attention.

Well, your entitaled to your opinion as for me I think the Harry Potter seris is simply the best seris in the world if you ask me each book is better then the last.

All of the books were good (except the 1st).
But the BEST one was 6th book. It was full of surprises and there is suposed to be 7th book (right?). i'm looking forward to it.

You're not alone. I too am not a big fan of the Harry Potter series. I wouldn't say that I hate it at all, because it IS good literature, but it just is not my cup of tea. I've read half of the first three books (by that I mean I read half of each book before putting it down), and I was not impressed. That makes three of us. I'm sure it's good literature, but I don't intend on reading it. The subject matter doesn't interest me. I've seen part of the movies, only because my cousin's daughters wanted me to watch it with them >_>;;

There are enough people who hate Harry Potter. Like Manchester said, I'm sure the books are good literature, but I'm really not interested in it. I've also seen a part of the first movie, didn't like it. I'm not planning on reading the books either, I lack the time and the interest.

The whole hype around HP only annoys me even more anyway.

Have you read them all, or just book 1 and 2? Becouse they dont start getting good till the 3rd.
