Default Aerial Battle LFO Style

This is an open challenge, but instead of the regular battles in which we use human character to battle I want a battle using LFOs from Eureka SeveN. For those of you who have not seen the show LFOs are mecha that ride on ref boards. Ref boards are similar to surfboards and work using trapar particles in the air.

Here is a quick link to stuff about LFOs. And if you want to see more about them then look up Eureka SeveN on YouTube.

The rules of this battle are the same as ever. Except that I need an odd number of judges so that any disputes can be solved and I'd appreciate it if the judges could also sum up how the writing of the two challengers was at the end of the battle.

You can use any pre-made LFO or make up your own custom one if you like. Use any sort of template you like or just introduce it in the first post. I'll put the location and my template in the first post.

((Well, this'll be interesting then. I'll be using the Nirvash typeZero spec2.))

Jason sat in the Nirvash's cockpit waiting for the target to come in range. The Nirvash was hidden under a camo netting in it's vehicle form, waiting on the edge of the Scub Coral's cliff. It would only take a moment to charge off the edge and start riding the trapar. He brushed his long brown hair out of his eyes, scanning the instruments in front of him. He was looking for the target, he'd be here anytime now.

Jason ran through the checklist again, all the weapons were ready and the compac was glowing in it's place. In a moment he could be up and striking out at his target.

The LFO glided silently towards the current location and landed with a soft thud in the distance..."Ok executing alpha plan 231..." Nicholas methodically pressed a few buttons and the LFO went down on one knee the shoulder mounted lasers slid forward in a kind of dance and came to rest over the front part of the shoulders...

A small reticule came to rest over Nicholas' eyepiece in his helmet. sensors instantly bringing a plethora of information to his use..including wind direction..windspeed and trapar waves that he could use..."Analising information available..." chirped the computer..."Idenitifying Trapar waves and calculating beam fluctuations...overlaying Trapar waves with current windspeed and direction coming onscreen..." a image was overlayed on the eyepiece Nicholas was wearing.

"Take in all the relevent data and preload it into the laser firing system.." said Nicholas...A few minutes passed..."Process completed...ready for long range fire.." Nicholas flipped the hat cover up on his control lever..."Heh, heh..I got a present for ya.." he said finding the Nirvash hidden beneth some ragged camo netting..."You know it may prevent you from being seen with the naked eye...but infa-red gives you right away.." He pushed the button on top of the control lever...an audiable laser sound was heard thoughout the canyon..."Automatically adjust for LFO movement and be ready to fire again" he said as the laser was sent screaming for the target...

The alarm went off, it wasn't the klaxon alarm that generally came on when lasers were sent flying at targets, but a quiet tone that brought his attention to the alert on the cockpit's canopy. Calm as ever Jason's hands fell upon the controls; dancing lightly across the keys before pushing the throttle forward.

Nirvash charged forward, peeling off the top of the cliff and falling into the empty space as the laser hit the spot where they'd just occupied. The explosion of pink smoke left a crater in it's wake as Nirvash shifted in it's fall. The LFO changed from the treaded wheels into the upright and humanoid form.

Guided by Jason's swift hands the ref board clicked together and Nirvash was riding a wake of trapar. The camo netting hung onto Nirvash for a moment, flapping like a cape in the wind before being blown away. Jason scanned the area visually, not able to see the attacker on his instruments, searching for the slight disturbance in the air caused by the passing of a charged beam of particles.

The slight distortion caught his eye after a moment of searching and he guided the Nirvash around toward the source. The boomerang knife was drawn and ready to cut down his attack as the pair shifted and balanced on the trapar particles, leaving a wake of green light.
