KHI Battle Tournament Round 3: KHFanatic4565 vs. tidusora

This match will pit KHFanatic4565 against tidusora in a no hold barred match up.

Rules ~
1) The battles will ALL close, one week from today. NO exceptions.
2) There will be a designated first poster, but I'd like for the other member to make an OOC post as soon as possible; because if neither have posted at the end of the week, they BOTH lose.
3) Roleplay battle rules apply; if you don't know them, suffice it to say you're going to lose.
4) If both members have made 8 posts EACH before the end of the week, the match is drawn to a close at that point.

Scenario: All matches in this round based in a mutating Arena. You are incapable of leaving the Arena. After each participant has posted once; the Arena changes size and scene. You start in an infinite space zone. The first poster chooses the environment. I will make a post depicting the new scene, embellish on it if you wish, so long as it still pertains to the aforementioned requirements I lay out.

All went blank as the scenery changed around him. When he came to, Gabriel realized that he was no longer upon the plain where he was in intense battle with Ukiah. His opponent had vanished, which led to new realizations/changes. A new contest was upon the horizon. Observing the new battle zone, Gabriel began creating new tactics for the possible enemy. Almost all the ones remaining were powerful in their own rights. From his knowledge of the brackets, his next opponent was indefinately Mageon.

Months later had it been, after the battle with Tsutira, a silver-haired girl ninja that he had fought. He finished recovering about two weeks ago, letting his body rest and gain a bit more surplus energy, as he knew a battle awaited him. He needed to gain the extra energy, as he had lost the battle. After all, he was in a tournament. He never bothered to read the brackets, but a message was sent to him, that he had to approach the opponent at this time. At the battle before, his opponent approached him in the grass field, and the battle before that battle, he was sucked into a red void, where he later saw his opponent. It came to a surprise that he had to approach the opponent. This time, he actually read the brackets from the tournament. He did not bother to read the person's name, as he liked asking the opponent their name, just for the fun of it. The location it said to arrive at, stated a location in an unknown arena. The arena had no name. All the brackets said was where to find it.

Mageon was currently in the house he had rested at, a few yards away from his previous battlefield. He looked around the wooden house, only to see his bed to the left of him, a cabinet of food, and kitchen utilities, such as an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Now, was not the time to worry about that kind of stuff. He needed to bring essential items that would cover his hunger and energy. He grabbed about two cold bottles of water, a few cheese crackers, and an apple. "This should be enough, after all, I'm almost one-hundred percent sure, that after my battle is over, well, I'm going to be recovering for another few months, weeks, and hopefully days. Most likely, as I win or lose every match, the harder the opponent gets. I just have ot hope for the best," said Mageon as his heart was pounding furiously with nervousness, as he let out a deep breath.

Mageon gripped his Gold Sword tightly, as he headed off to the location that he was supposed to arrive at. "Should I arrive there to see the location, or should I blindfold myself, so that when I arrive there, the location wouldn't seem so familiar if I fought there. After all, the paper did state, something peculiar about the location. I just hope there aren't ghosts, demons, or sword-stealing thieves. I get a lot of those chasing me, whenever I enter the city, just because my sword is pure gold. It is decided, when I sense the strong presence of my opponent, I shall, turn around, backwards, and blindfold myself, so that the location would be a surprise to me. It's just so confusing entering a location, why couldn't they have approached me? It's much more fun that way," said Mageon complaining as he hopped from tree branch to tree branch.

The aura of the opponent became stronger, and Mageon was confused of what he should do. "Screw this, no blindfold, no backwards walking, I approach the opponent directly. Yeah, that's what my previous opponent did, at least, that's what I remember. I just don't want to make an entrance, and I have to remind myself, cockiness is bad because if I'm too cocky, then I might lose the match," said Mageon folding his arms and nodding his head.

As he nodded his head, he bumped his head on a large tree, larger than the rest of the trees. He realized that this was the end of the forest. He didn't waste even a little of his energy going to the location. He wasn't facing the location, as his back was facing the location. He was patting his head softly, as it hurt a little bit. As his head felt quite better, he turned around with his mouth wide open, looking at the place where he would have to fight his opponent. Fear went across Mageon's head, and his heart was pounding even faster than before. He did not express the fear, but he did have a serious look on his face after closing his mouth.

OOC: The scene now changes to an expansive mountainside forest. You're boxed in by a circular shield 100 hundred miles in diameter.

Gabriel lifted his hooded head/focused upon Mageon. His opponent, who was gigantic for his age, was gaping at him. Immediately, the open mouth vanished, replaced with a serious tone, but he gained precious information from his opponent's actions. "Greetings, Mageon Cedron," Gabriel spoke in his usual monotone to his opponents. "I have yet to look at the brackets, but it is obvious this is the quarterfinal. Your opponents thus far have been a Water user/a daughter from a familiar ninja. From your gaping mouth earlier, you are afraid. How do I come to this conclusion? Your stance has given it away. Fear of the unknown, since you had your back turned to me." Gabriel spread his hand to Mageon so all four fingers/his thumb were in his line of sight. "5 'turns' is what I shall give you. After that, I will end it. It seems the 1st turn has been achieved, don't you agree?"


The scenery around them had now experienced metamorphesis. Inifinite space zone became filled by mountains/trees. A beautiful sight it was as the completion of the change was realized by the properties of the everchanging battlefield. The section that Gabriel had occupied was now empty of any life, except for Mageon. Alone again, Gabriel began mapping the distance of space he had, for the time being. He stopped 5 meters from his original location, bracing himself behind a tree. Relaxed in his area, the Grand Marshall decided to toy with his opponent.

"How much anxiety you must feel?" Gabriel continued with his rant. "I wonder how much?" By the last word, the Dawn Reaver appeared within his hand, ready to unleash it's power. It would be pointless to explain all the duals/practices Gabriel has taken part in, for it would just be a waste of time. In short, his blade stores potential energy. It would also be pointless to explain it, since you should already know. Like a Maestro, he moved his blade to a certain tune he was concocting in his intelligence. The tune was thunderous, fierce, destructive, with a hint of harmonious peace/tranquility. It was unknown what attack Gabriel would be using, even to himself, for the honest truth being that this was his first attempt at using this sword technique.(Before this tournament, it has been months since I've used Gabriel. This is a newer technique I came up with about 3 months back. Be honest if it is god-modding or not. I have to wait until you post again to unleash it, since Gabriel's still gathering. It's a 2 post thing, so you have the chance to stop me from using it. Either NSEW.)

"This is the quarterfinal, indeed. It's quite strange that you would know who my opponents were, and what type of opponent they were. Unless of course, they were in the brackets, which apparently, I did not read, as the opponents had come to me. I'm more of a guy who likes surprises. It's a new thought that I would have to approach an opponent for battle, but I guess I can try. Why do you like guessing things wrong? My back is turned due to the fact that I wanted to be surprised," lied Mageon trying redeem his persona as the opponent had already read the lines through him.

He was no longer fear-struck, although he was not fear-struck from the opponent, rather the place that he'd have to battle in, which quickly changed into a forest terrain boxed in with a large circular shield that went on and on. That made Mageon ever more nervous, but he managed to stop with the fearful antics, as his face seemed to look as if he was never scared. "5 Turns, is what you'll give me. Wow, how pathetic. You really underestimate your opponents, and you have a cocky attitude, mister. You should really learn to improve your manners," said Mageon in a childish voice, before gripping the bunt of his sword.

Mageon saw that Gabriel was gathering energy for an attack, and gathering energy this slow, either meant that he was a slow opponent, or that the attack he was about to send out, was a very powerful one. Guessing that his opponent reached this far, it meant that this attack was powerful. Mageon needed to prevent this attack at all times. He grabbed his sword out of the sheath. The gold did not shimmer as the shield had blocked the sunlight, but it did still redeem it's gold-like qualities. He put some energy into his sword, as a blue-type energy formed around the sword, in a circular-like shape. "Well, this is quite odd naming moves, but this one was taught to me by the person who created this technique, and I savor this technique the most! Typhoon Blasts!" shouted Mageon as the blue energy split into many uncountable energy balls, going in many ways, where Mageon thought Gabriel might move, and some where Gabriel currently was. It was a great trick, and Mageon wanted to break the concentration on the trick from Gabriel so that he wouldn't execute the powerful technique.

"Now, I'm going to execute a trick, that I love to use. Spirit Clone!" shouted Mageon as seven clones of Mageon formed right in front of him. Those clones were real, and if attacked, they would feel pain, although Mageon wouldn't, unless he was attacked. All of the Mageons, excluding the real Mageon were sticking the tongue out at Gabriel.

The scene is now altered.

You are surrounded on all sides by thick clouds and viscous fog. Your battle one dimensions are limited to a 10 mile diamter sphere.

Gabriel could only smile at Mageon's attempt to redeem himself, which was shrouded by his hood, which he had yet to put down. "What a pathetic attempt at false answers." Gabriel replied to this statement unflinchingly/with lack of emotion. "For the crime of sounding childish, 'Liar, liar, pants on fire.' Anyways, you are wasting precious time. Remember, your time remaining is 4 turns." That last sentence seemed to initiate the next mutation.

No longer surrounded by forest, now fog ruled the day as there was no visible distance for sight. 'About 5 centimeters, at best,' Gabriel calculated like a supercomputer. The Dawn Reaver had just accomplished the objective it was assigned to complete. Energy could be seen swirling around his 'friend' in revolution every 5 seconds. Gabriel knew what was coming, & Mageon had strategized in exact motion what he had expected him to do.

The Typhoon Blast arrived/directly encountered the tip of his sword. Since his opponent believed that Typhoon Blast/Spirit Clone would suprise him, he was deadly mistaken. 'It is time to borrow some power,' Gabriel grinned at the proposition of his opponents inability to comprehend the threat that was about to engulf him. The Blast was stuck to his blade, for he used his own energy to mold the potential energy. By doing this, his sword becomes like a magnet. The Blast was struggling to move forward, but it was frozen at the tip. The preparation for the endgame could now commence. Waiting until all was clear, he began moving in a circle, guided by his Sense so he wouldn't run right in front of Mageon/his clones, for the moment.

"Hey, I am not sounding like a child. Only little kids say that!" shouted Mageon sticking his toungue out at Gabriel. "He's trying to act all cool, well, I'll show him," said Mageon and his clones. "The fog can be our friend at this time, right clones, spread out!" shouted Mageon with a big grin on his face, from the environmental change.

Mageon was worried after the impact of the Typhoon Blast he sent out previously, but that didn't stop him. It had put a shock on his face that the energy just stuck onto his opponent's sword like that. That technique was brilliant, and he wanted to learn that. "Wow, an energy magnet, how impressive, but I got more tricks up my sleeve than that attack," said Mageon with a smirk.

Each clone spread throughout the place, gathering energy. The energy formed at the tip of the gold sword of each clone, getting ready to shoot another Typhoon Blast at the opponent, while Mageon was preparing for an even more dangerous attack. Each clone gathered enough energy, the colour blue, and shot it out at where they thought the opponent was. They sent out the attack, despite knowing that their opponent can get energy, but those attacks were just a distraction. Mageon, in the meantime was preparing to grow his sword in size. His sword grew, as he enchanted the word,"Yoru!" The gold sword grew in size of a normal house door, but not in appearance. It was just that tall and wide.

The sword then, split, into halves. Mageon, then, encircled the sword with some of his energy that would form into blade-like shape, and would be placed in the sword. The sword, would, then follow the opponent to attack them. After all, Mageon couldn't risk losing too much energy from the multiple Typhoon Blasts and the Spirit Clones. "I really need to learn some new techniques. These techniques make my energy run out faster, than other people's attacks. I just hope that I won't have to Last Resort on my opponent. If I do, I'll be out for weeks, months, and maybe days. After all, it's always a battle, then the Last Resort. Afterwards, I always end up recovering. Well, luckily I did gain some surplus energy from not fighting for a month, up until now," said Mageon shrugging and imagining himself using the Last Resort with no control of his body, whatsoever.

Mageon, then, moved out of his spot, with his clones staying still to disguise themselves as the real Mageon. It's real hard to tell, because the fact is that they are real clones, they feel real pain, have equal amount of energy as Mageon, and have the same attacks. Although, the clones use up their energy faster. That would be the downfall if his opponent found out, but luckily, he wasn't thinking that, as he knew that his opponent could tell what he was thinking and his emotions due to his actions, previously.
