As the title reads, these two fighters will be competing in the first round of the Battle Tournament.

A void of nothingness, an absence of quite literally anything but dull, plain, emptiness. Enigmatic, yet simple and effective. Raine began phasing into the designated arena, one atom at a time, and suddenly, he became whole. Looking around, and noticing his opponent had not arrived, Raine wondered how he was even standing, as their was no ground (or at least an invisible one). Kyo was his unlucky opponents name. How Raine fell in with the battle grounds was a strange behappening, but there was no way he would miss out on such an epic tournament.

Rumor had it amazing figures such as Valyon Lightstar, who he had only briefly met, Ukiah Oregon, a strong yet enigmatic entity, Dunjay Talkesh, who Raine had not seen the true strength of, among others had signed up for this tournament as well. But one man in particular caught Raines attention.

Makyu Eramiss.

Luckily, or unluckily, he did not know, Raine did not have to fight Makyu, and he hoped not to. For now it seemed he was facing a half demon angel crossbreed. An interesting fight, albeit Raine's determination would undoubtably drive him to a win. Anticipating the arrival of his opponent, the Scorching Superb smirked at the lack of wind, a idiosyncrasy not many people would realize or understand.

OOC:I thought it was going to be in the RP battle section?

IC: A place of nothing but darkness, a place where even some of the strongest demons feared to roam. A place where you can hear a pin drop from millions of miles away, a place that belong only to those who foraged and lived in the darkness, why would someone hold a tournament in a place like this?

Kyo had recieved his invitation and began on his way to his destination, fearing his mens safety he instructed them to stay behind, Kyo was up to face an opponent by the name of Raine Xamsalp. He had heard of him before a master of plasma, heat at its finest. Before leaving Kyo asked one of his men to teleport him to his destination.

Upon appearing in this dark void Kyo spotted his opponent, a man clad in red, he looked like a ninja or an assassin, and he sensed a greater power in the man. Kyo would have to be at his best. Kyo also sensed other powers, powers beyond his and his opponent. Would he even make it to the next round or was this his first and last in the tournament, only time would tell.

RikuHeroofDark, I see since our last battle you have improved a lot, over 75% percent...which is nothing short of amazing. Congrats, but that won't stop me from pwning you =P

Staring foward at his opponent, Raine smirked from behind his cloth. Although his voice was muffled, he could easily be understood when he spoke.

"I assume you already know my name. Good luck to you, but I won't go easy. Let us fight the good fight, as some sadistic man who is hosting this is obviously watching."

Contemplating the possibilities of using a portal of nothingness in a void specializing in nothingness itself, Raine decided it was to risky to use his portals. He had no intention of dieing today. Well, he was already dead, but he had no intention of evaporating into nothingness, or remaining incapicated until Makyu left the Farplane (which would never happen). Feeling somewhat generous, Raine felt the sapphire chains of Paravreg, and the three daggers on his belt. He looked over at Kyo.

"I feel nice. Make the first move."

He looked around for a moment, and unsheathed both of his sickles. On the utmost chain of both of them, he intertwined them, creating one, huge, chained sickle with two blades, glistening with gold and platinum in the nothingness that was this void.

Oh, and that doesn't mean I won't retaliate, though."

OOC: Yeah, for one i type in sentences and no longer use one liners, but you have improved way more than i have and you have a different character.

IC: Kyo laughed to himself, "I guess your as confused as me...good luck". No one had wished Kyo good luck before a fight before.

Kyo grew weary as his opponent drew his two swords, something about the swords, and Raine himself, made him feel...dead. A feeling he had felt before, something he hadn't wanted to feel again.

"Come to me Ria and Erif", the two swords materialized in Kyo's hand, the two swords who was Kyo's companion for over several millenia, the swords which contained something Kyo never had. "Combine to make hells winds", the two swords glowed and combined into one that resembled both swords. A sword with elemental prowess and strength, a sword that could kill a human in one swipe, but of course Kyo was fighting something that was more than a human.

"First move eh...", Kyo began to charge at his opponent, "Hells inferno", Kyo's sword disappeared and Kyo threw two balls of elemental devasty at his opponent at speeds attained only because of the element of light.

Looking at Kyo's first move, Raine was perplexed. His minor sickle manipulation of light was rarely ever used, so he began studying these strange orbs. This was most likely some type of Earth magic...or was it? More importantly, it was time to dodge, not admire.

As they began rippling towards him, Raine bent his knees, and propelled into the air. In his trails, he left a clone of condensed superheated gas, better known as plasma. In it's stationary form, it was quite admirable, but this plasma that was shaped like Raine suddenly not only was in the same body structure as him, but it looked exactly like him. As the elementized orbs neared the clone, it elongated and shifted it's structure, narrowly dodging the orbs as they harmlessly flew by.

Raine seemed to have...not come down from the sky, as the idle clone was now eyeing the demon angel crossbreed. Wherever Raine was was most likely not important to his opponent, as the clone charged foward in a kamikaze-like style. As someone of normal intelligence would know, plasma can incinerate basically anything, and such a substance with a lack of thoughts and feelings, only a need to follow orders was heading at Kyo. From the invisible ground of the void rose nine more plasma clones. Five of them leaped into the air around Kyo, mainly to obscur his vision, and another five all jumped at him, in an attempt to latch on to Raine's opponent and scorch him to death.

Raine, on the other hand, had now landed back on the surface of the void, and watched his clones work. He charged foward behind them, and stopped in midrun. Leaving ten yards between himself and the chaos insueing ahead, Raine smirked, ready with Sharsmak in his hand.

Kyo watched as the ten clones came charging at him, five blocked his vison, and the other five was tryng to sneak behind the first attempt. One would normally wonder how something such as plasma could take a form. And then be able to launch itself upon an opponent. Even with the help of magic this still would be an odd task for someone.

"Wall of the Green Dragon", Kyo screamed as a wall of green flame appeared in the dark void lighting it up. The green wall was so amazing one would compare it to a skyscraper up in flames.

The wall quickly went through each of the odd plasma clones, and was heading straight for his opponent.

"This wall is moving to slow", Kyo thought to himself, "lets speed it up". Kyo drew his palms together as a flash of light escaped and hit the wall of fire. This gave the wall the speed of light.

Kyo felt his opponent would dodge the attack and summoned his two allies, "Ria and Erif come to me" ,the two swords appeared in his hands. "Wind and Fire gauntlets", the two swords turned into gauntlets on Kyo's hands as he awaited what his oponent would do next.

OOC: I know you try to emphasize that the wall is going fast, but the speed of light is...unbelieveably fast. I mean, you blink, and it is probably thousands of miles away. I assume you mean it is just going extremely fast. If not, it is god modding in a way.

IC: Although the plasma clones had been absorbed into the wall, it would still be risky business to try to absorb such a massive structure. It neared Raine, and he immediately turned tail and dashed in the opposite way. His immense speed helped him, but the wall would catch up to him. On top of that, he would run out of energy, which he very dearly needed. These flames may be derived from the hottest flames in the Omniverse, but the laws of physics applied almost anywhere (with some minor exceptions).

Turning around, with Sharsmak still in both hands. Raine closed his eyes for a moment. As the wall neared, he leaped into the air, and slashed horizontally into the foundation of the void. A massive hurricane emerged, towering over in a size bigger then the wall. It suceeded in enticing the wall inwards, and one would now see a massive incinerating green hurricane circling around the arena. Albeit, with the wind on his side, Raine had control over it. He slashed his sickle foward, almost like a miner hitting a rock for gold, and it rocketed towards Kyo. Following suit, Raine dashed at Kyo, with Paravreg and Sharsmak both in hands. Even if the demon could absorb this fire, the rippling gusts would tear him to shreads, and Raine would follow shortly behind.

After that, if he could miraculously dodge both attacks, Raine smirked from behind his cloth, thinking of his battle plan. The momentum he gained was immense, and an unexpecting enemy would be destroyed by the power his sickles held. To add more chaos to the fray, Raine pressed his sickle tip's together, and a red light emerged from them. A thud was heard, and Raine continued his onslaught, nearing Kyo intensely.

Kyo smirked as his opponent attacked him with two of his very own elements. Kyo drew out the strentghs of himself and the gauntlets on his arms and hands. Kyo's armor began to shake and his eyes began to get wider. Kyo saw a red light and heard a thud, to be safe, Kyo jumped back unsure of what the red light was doing or what it was for.

A twister of wind and fire began to appear increasing more and more by the second. As the two gust began to eat away at each other Kyo's only other worry was Raine.

Kyo's gauntlets disintergrated and in his hands, Erif and Ria reappeared. His opponent had decided to charge him, he would prepare for him.

"Engulfing Flames", Kyo's body combusted into flames, giving him a defensive edge, anything or anyone that came into contact with him now would be turned to ash.

OOC: I was trying to emphasive that light had sped the wall up not that the wall was moving at speeds of light, i have to choose better wording.

Halting right before Kyo, Raine smirked.

"Hmph. You obviously know nothing about plasma. I will give you the honour of drawing this out, giving you time to realize your mistake. I'll come back to that later..."

Then, the previously made "thud" was realized. It was Ivaldi, the Infiltrating Enigma. A handy summon of Raines, Kyo could unfortunately not marvel at her beauty, seeing as she was...invisible. Yes, a reincarnated gun assassin brought back to serve the king of Armaplex. With her double barrelled shotgun, she followed any order Raine gave her, and fired at any enemies. One with basic intelligence could obviously know, bullets were very, very fast.

With the minute possibility this fire could burn the bullets before they reached Kyo's flesh, Raine grabbed Sharsmak, and slashed at the gun. Being with and utilizing Ivaldi for a long time, he could tell where she was at random times due to the noises and movements. Making a minor crack in the left barrel, Raine had elementalized all of the bullets in the shell to plasma. This way, they would struggle with the fire for the smallest particle of a millisecond, but inevitably prevail, and annhilate Kyo. Commanding Ivaldi to move out, the invisible figure shot several shots at the demon angel, all of course going at bullet speed. The second this had happened, Raine was searching for what made the foundation of the atmosphere. If he could find a solid mixture in the void, he could great heaps and masses of magma. Setting off to work on that, he kept in mind Kyo's mistake, and waited to see what happened before he actually began a search.

Riku_Heroofdark, I am going on vacation from Saturday morning to Sunday night. Not a long one, just a visit to Pennysylvania. The point is...It is almost two days. So if you reply while I am gone, I may surpass the three day limit, pending on the timing.

I would appreciate it if you could post tonight, followed by me, and even though a two day vacation is a nuisance in a battle at this pace, I have no intention of being knocked out on such a petty thing.

OOC: Sorry about not posting in awhile i was busy going to a whole bunch of parties. Its Ok if you have to go on vacation i guess.

Kyo had heard something break the balance of the wind, something that wasnt there before, something was summoned.

The thing had something with it, it smelt like a gun. Why would one draw a bullet one who was part demon? Bullets cant peirce a demons skin.

Just then the being shot the gun, Kyo simply dodged left as the bullets passed him. He could tell by the winds the other being had not left.

"One does not need eyes to see, whats invisible to you is completely visible to me".

What was Raine doing? Kyo had no time for questions, whatever he was doing Kyo had to stop him.

"Time for you to ascend into hell!", Kyo charged up his attack. "Time to die, Ascension into Hell", Kyo loaded his attack but this time with a slight difference. The attack would continously attack Raine and his summon with a continous stream of darkness, light, fire, and wind. One would only guess the consequences of this attack touching Raine and his opponent.

Edit: Anyobody know why the site is acting up so badly.

OOC: I have never heard bullets can not pierce a demon...never. =| Do you want to just get it judged now? Because in the 3 more posts we have left, I don't feel we can get much done.

OOC: Yeah i guess so, aint no point in continuing i guess. Well seeing as a demon with human-like skin would be killed by the fires produced off of Kyo's body(and since the fires would be so hot(hottest in the omniverse)), his skin has to be harder than a bullet to sustain them and also the fact he wears armor. In most shows about or featuring a demon ta bullet doesnt do much to a demon or cant harm them at all.
