My character-

Name- Animus

Body Size- 6' 2", 250 lbs., muscular

Species- Human

Preferred Side- He is a nomad who wanders around, fighting only when he needs to defend himself- he does not choose good or evil.

Appearance- Black hair, slightly shorter than down to his shoulders.
He wears sunglasses (Similar to Auron's in FFX), and a dark green coat with a popped collar that almost covers the lower half of his face.
The coat is held together by buckles as opposed to zippers or buttons. He has a sword sheathe draped over his left shoulder.
His hands are gloved. His pants are black, and have a large number of pockets right below the belt line.
All the pockets have zippers, and they each hold a number of weapons. There are five pockets in all.
His belt has large studs and a huge belt buckle in the shape of a skull.
He wears big combat boots on his feet.

Abilities- His most notable ability is his "living armor"- an armor he can freely control and move around his body. It can cover approximately 2/3 of his body at a time while still being useful- if he spreads it out anymore a weapon can penetrate it much more easily. He can compress the metal to make his defenses stronger, but the downside is it covers much less of his body. At it's smallest and strongest, the armor will cover the tip of his ring finger. At it's largest and weakest, it will cover his whole body- he usually uses this to protect him from falls.
He can also transform the armor into bladed or dull weapons, but not projectiles, as the armor must be touching his body at all times for him to manipulate it. This also decreases the amount of body the armor covers without raising its durability.

He also utilizes a third eye in battle- it can travel all across his body. He usually places it on his back to avoid getting surprise attacked. The eye, however, cannot travel onto his armor, and also if the eye is struck, he must withdraw it for the rest of the battle or suffer great pain.
The eye's other use is to see the enemy's weak point, blind spot, and to help Animus to predict his opponents attacks.

His magic is limited to the armor, the eye, a low level healing spell that covers minor cuts, bruises and broken bones- which he can use freely (though it takes time to heal a broken bone), and a high level healing spell that can recover a lost body part- but this can only be used once.

Animus has a high level of knowledge on the human body, and can attack a person's most sensitive spots with ease.

Weapons-
Claymore- His main weapon, he keeps this in his sword sheathe. It is slow, but immensely powerful, and can be used to block certain attacks.
Clamps- Hidden in one of his pockets, this is a projectile weapon. When he throws them, they are open. As soon as they come in contact with the target, they clamp sht with great force. He usually aims them at a person's pressure points to increase his opponents discomfort.
Shuriken- Hidden in one of his pockets, this is a projectile weapon. It is a simple shuriken and nothing more.
Pellets- Hidden in one of his pockets, this is a projectile weapon. These small pellets are packed with dangerous explosives that combust upon contact with any solid surface when thrown with force. There is a half-solid half-liquid in Animus's pocket to prevent them from going off. Although there is only a small amount of explosives in each pellet, he throws a handful at once. Depending on how far he is when he throws them, it could be a concentrated blast, or cover a wide area.
Dagger- Hidden in one of his pockets, this is a close range weapon. He uses this to surprise his opponents with a swift stab.
His fifth pocket is used to store his sunglasses when he fights.
Belt- In a last ditch effort, Animus's belt can make a decent weapon.
Living Armor- When used as a weapon, it is usually transformed into a swift blade with faster attack speed then his claymore, or brass knuckles to amplify the power of a punch.

Name- Leon

Size- 6 feet 5 and 130 pounds

Species- Modified Human

Side- Evil

Apperance- Spiky silver hair (Like Axel's)
Black coat, black gloves, black boots, black pants
Face is battle scarred
Red shirt under black coat

Abilities- Leon is the product of a soldier experiment he engineered himself. His body is full of yards and yards of barbed wire, which he can subconsciously control to attack people- the wire comes out of his body and goes back in without leaving any marks because he genetically modified his skin. He can insare, slice and tear with his barbed wire. Unfortunately, a stray wire had probed his brain, instead of causing death he merely went insane. The project was to create the perfect soldier, but in a twist of irony, he created a perfect monster. He kills people for laughs now.

He cannot perform spells, but he has no need to. He can strike with lightning speed, his skin is very durable, and his skin also heals over time. his insanity drives his energy, so he never runs out. Unfortunately, it halts his ability to fight logically.

His wire can also supplement as a shield if need be.

Weapons- He merely uses his wires and his body, nothing more

Alright, here I go.

Animus walked down the old, deserted road. He hadn't seen a soul in hours- the land was barren and damp. The grass was wet with the recent rain, and he fastened the buckles on his coat to keep out the cold.

He walked for about an hour, and it began to get dark. He was getting closer to civilization, he knew it, because he had seen a few buildings on the road as of late. Still, he knew a city, with inhabitants, was still a way off, so he decided to find a place to rest. The silhouette of a building came into view, and he could already tell it was a church. That would do. A pew would be a nice rest from sleeping on the ground.

He walked up to the church and slowly opened the door. It opened silently and with ease. He peered into the church, which was dimly lit by candles, to see a figure staring up at the crucifix...

Leon settled in, having lighted the last candle. He sat in a pew and stretched his wires a little- all those coiled wires in his body needed some air. He withdrew them, and sat silently, looking up at the crucifix that adorned the wall.

"Hmmph. Some savior he turned out to be."

He looked at it a little while longer. It began to irritate him, that a man would become famous merely for getting killed on a cross. His insanity began to take over, he released his wires lightning fast and coiled them all across the statue. He then ripped the crucifix from the wall, tightened his grip, and tore it into four pieces, which he threw in four different directions. It was then he noticed there was another man, standing in the doorway of the church.

Animus stared as the man in the pew began to twitch in his seat. Suddenly, and without warning, tentacles shot out and grabbed the cross, tearing it from the wall. Animus extended his palm and formed his third eye- it was getting too dark to see properly. The eye studied the tentacles that had sprung forth from the man's body- they looked as if they were actually barbed wire. He withdrew his eye as the man tore the crucifix in pieces and scattered them. It was then the man turned and first caught sight of Animus. He arched his wires, and Animus reached for his sword, shifting the position of the eye to the middle of his chest. He grasped the hilt but did not draw the blade, and would not do so until he knew this man was a threat.

"Who are you?" Animus asked

"Who are you?" asked the man. His hand was ready to draw his sword, Leon knew this man meant to kill him where he stood.

"Names are but a label to me." Leon responded.

"What are those?" He mentioned toward Leon's wires.

"These beauties?" He flexed the four wires the were protruding from his back, and then pulled out a fifth. "These are my weapons, and you'll be wise not to mess with me." He glanced at the large eye resting on the man's chest. "What is that?"

"Not important." He took his hand from the hilt of his blade, but Leon did not withdraw his wires.

"Everything is important in some way, or it wouldn't exist. What is it?"

"Sir, it not concern you. I mean you no harm, I wish only for a place to rest."

"GET OUT!" After all, this was his home. He had found it first.

The man seemed taken aback. "What? But-"

"NOW!" Leon lunged at the man, wires stretching towards his throat.

"NOW!"

Animus jumped back as the wires came lunging for his throat. He jumped back so a row of pews was between them, but judging on the length of the wires, it wasn't enough, especially if he could extend them like that.

"This man is so easy to anger." thought Animus. "He seems dangerous." Animus quickly drew his sword and brandished it, ready for the man to strike. The man just stood there, however, looking at Animus, wires moving rhythmically. He left out a low laugh, it eventually grew into a high pitched, insane laugh.

"So, you want to fight me? There goes your option of dying quickly!!" More wires coiled around the man's arm, effectively turning his arm into a deadly weapon.

The man lunged at Animus, palm outstretched, aiming for his stomach. the wires on his arm were moving all over the place, wildly and freely. If that made contact, Animus's insides would be ground down to a pulp.

Right before he made contact, Animus summoned his armor, a small chunk right at the point of impact. The wires scratched at the metal, making a horrible noise. Animus took his foe's moment of surprise to knock him away with the hilt of his claymore.

"If you stop now I'll spare your life." He told the stranger

Leon rolled on the floor, the blow from the claymore's hilt still ringing in his head. However, it is not what he thought about.

"Where- where did that armor come from?" His mind was racing. He was positive it hadn't been there earlier. He looked at the eye, still on the man's chest. "Did the eye have something to do with it?"

"If you stop now I'll spare your life."

"Grr. He- he can't talk to me like that. YOU HEAR ME? YOU CAN'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!!!!"

He shot several wires at the man. He was certain everyone of them would strike, but as he watched in amazement, the armor that had saved him from Leon's last attack actually SHIFTED, they moved around his body and blocked every wire Leon had sent at him.

"That armor- you have control of it!"

"That's right." The man said. He reached up to his face, took off his sunglasses, and pocketed them. "It's my living armor, my special technique."

"AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Leon screamed in hatred, and around 20 wires emerged from his body and went to strike the man. Every hit was blocked by that armor, and to make it worse, that eye was staring at him the whole time. It was such a large target, he new he could hit it. He went after it, but it moved out of the way, and was replaced by armor.

"He can do it with that eye too?!?!?" Leon was furious by this point. He kept going after the eye, but it crawled all around the man's body. It was too elusive. It crawled onto his back and Leon's wires followed it. Instinctively, he wrapped the man up in his wires. As he expected armor formed everywhere he grabbed him, but something was different. Leon suspended the man in the air, and squeezed with his wires. Then he realized it- the armor was not as strong as before.

"Dammit." Animus muttered under his breath. He did not like his predicament, the man had wrapped his body in the barbed wires. His armor was too stretched out, and it was not working anywhere near as effectively as before. To make matters worse, he had been going for the eye- if that was hit, he could not easily determine this man's weakness.

The wires tightened, and Animus was afraid his armor could give. He tried to get free, but the barbs prevented him from slipping loose. He couldn't use his hands to tear away the barbs, they were pinned to his sides. He knew what he had to do, but he didn't like it...

Quickly, he withdrew all the armor back into his body. The barbs clung to him tight, ripping his skin. He screamed in agony. Then, he summoned to the armor back, all in one specific area- his right shoulder, where a wire clung tightly. He easily and quickly shook it off using the armor, and repeated this on all the other wires until he was free. The whole process took about 4 seconds, to quick for this man to react. Once he was free, he reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a clamp. He locked it into the open position, and then, with precise aim, tossed it a pressure point on the man's body, where it clamped down and clung. The man was very well distracted, and Animus used the time to get far away enough to cast a healing spell.

Meanwhile, the man tried desperately to open the clamp, but it had him in a vice grip. He tried using several wires to unclasp it but to no avail. He resorted to ripping it off, taking a large amount of flesh with it.

He stared at the flesh, blood dripping from it as it hung from the clamp. He looked over to see his opponent casting a cure spell- something Leon's body did automatically, though it took time.

His enemy then pulled another clamp and tossed it at him, Leon quickly intercepted it with a wire. He tried shaking the clamp off, but it has not use. Not that it mattered.

Another clamp flew through the air, unfortunately, Leon was not fast enough, and it clamped down on his thumbnail, reminiscent of the medieval torture device, thumb screws. Only this happened all at once, without warning. The nail cracked, and Leon let out another howl of pain.

He looked up again to see his opponent charging him. Angered, he dodged the swing of the claymore, wrapped a wire around his ankle, and swung him into the altar of the church, knocking several candles over in the process.

He was too quick for Animus to react. The wire coiled around his ankle swiftly, and tossed him before he knew it had. He spread his armor out to cushion the blow, but it wasn't too useful, he had stretched too much. He was thrown into the alter, and knew a fire would soon engulf the church.

"I need to finish this now."

His opponent was coming towards him, several wires extended. Animus stared him down with the eye, he needed to stall him until it could find the weakness.

"Leon!" Animus cried out.

Leon stopped dead in his tracks.

"Leon Harbinger. Age 42, gender Male. Hometown is buffalo, New York."

"How-"

"It's the eye Leon. It really sees you."

And at that point, it did. Leon's weakness was the base of his wires- where they connected to his body.

Leon lunged at him, and Animus swiftly dodged. The fire had started, he needed to leave this church soon.

Leon could see a fire spreading, his carelessness meant the end of his home.

"YOU COULDN'T HAVE STAYED OUT OF MY HOME! IF YOU HAD JUST DIED IN THE BEGINNING, MY HOME WOULDN'T HAVE BURNED DOWN LIKE IT NOW WILL!"

He summoned a large mass of wires, grouped them together, and smashed the man in the stomach with them. He had managed to form his armor, but he still flew across the church, and out a stained glass window.

Leon stood still. The fire began to roar, but Leon did not pay attention. He wanted to know if the man was dead.

His answer soon came.

Animus lay on the ground outside the church. He managed to cushion his blow again, but he couldn't take much more.
He reached into his pockets and pulled out two handfuls of his explosive pellets, and tossed them through the window he had smashed through. Some of them exploded on the side of the church, but most of them went inside.
Moments later, Leon burst through the doors. Not only did he appear unaffected by the explosions, but his shoulder had healed. Whats was worse, he was coming at Animus with around 30 barbed wire tentacles outstreched.
