Fight? - Page 2

They came in large numbers. the small round pellets began exploding all over the church. Quickly, Leon wrapped himself in as much barbed wire as he could bring forth to protect him from the blow.

"He needs to die now."

He burst out the church door, all his wires extended, and started towards the man.

Animus reached into his pocket for a shuriken, but a wire grabbed his wrist and pulled him in the air.
Before he could shake if off, every other one of Leon's wires coiled around him. Animus' armor was so stretched it was hardly even there.
Then holding hm in place with all his wires, Leon began to tug on Animus' free hand. Harder and harder.
He was going to pull off his arm.
Animus struggled. He attempted to break free, but if he lost his armor now, the wires would certainly crush him. He felt more tension on his arm. He felt like he was going to faint.
And then it happened. A horrible pain. A horrible noise. And Animus' arm was gone.

"Serves you right."
Leon watched Animus bleed to death for a while, and began to walk down the long, lonely road.

"C-coward."
Leon stopped. He looked back at Animus.

...
"Fight me."
Leon watched, in horror, as Animus began his spell. A long, thin strand of light appeared, connecting Animus' arm to his bloody shoulder. More and more strands appeared, and eventually, Animus' arm was healed back to perfection.

Leon didn't believe it. He couldn't. He knelt down in defeat as Animus pulled something from his pocket...

Animus pulled out his sunglasses and put them back on. Then, he picked his claymore off the ground, walked over to Leon, and stabbed him once at the base of each wire.

Animus turned to look at the burning church. The reflection of flames danced across the surface of his sunglasses. He laid down on the cold, hard ground, and close his eyes.

"So much for a comfy pew."
