Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | This should be fairly explanatory. I'm challenging you Prophet, for Rank 1. This will be a battle-to-the-death for whatever characters are involved, though I'm moving for Non-Canon in case we use characters we might really like. Anyway, setting is up to you, as is also the class of character we use. |

| Rank 1 | Alright then. Why don't we make the setting a throwback? We'll be duking it out in the Dark City of the World that Never Was. We shall fight amongst towering skyscrapers amidst an endless sea of darkness. Classic. Last edited by Prophet; September 22nd, 2009 at 04:23 AM. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | Sounds good. I'll have a character by tomorrow night at the latest. Company for now. World that Never Was eh? I'm thinking something more... Kingdom Hearts/FF themed. Perhaps. Perhaps something totally off the wall. We shall see. :D |

| Rank 1 | Sounds fun. We could have a super-powered KH/FF style battle if you'd like. I look forward to seeing who you come up with |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | Hey, I'm all down for that. No Sephiroth/Cloud shit though. I guess it can be Seph/Cloud-esque, but let's try to do something original or take plays on characters and really just twist them and give them an original set up. Say, like Xemnas only from a Good-Guy angle or something. I'll definitely have 'em up by tonight. I got a couple of night classes to go to so it'll give me time to think and write. :D |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | Alright, I'm eager to get this started so I'll fill in with a proper template later but so far I think the Heartless vs. Nobody idea is cool. I would honestly just use my Nobody from before, Zay Makai, but I'll come up with a Heartless for this battle. Name: Warlok Gender: Looks Male Age: N/A Personality: Later Appearance: http://shadowmaster23.deviantart.com...tless-37936138 (Props to Shadowmaster23) Bio(ish): Later Abilities: Warlock has mastery over Heartless magic and a good control over regular magic (in the vein of Fire, Thunder, etc.). He also has the ability to shift into other Heartless forms for a limited amount of time. |

| Rank 1 | Name: Sorcerix Age: Appears early thirties Gender: Female Personality: Will be revealed Appearance: Greyish white hair, with light faded blue streaks; cut semi-short, a jagged punk look. Pale skin, very vibrant blue eyes, appears almost ghost-like. Wears tight black leather, with a chain encircling her waist as a belt. Nobody symbol emblazoned on the back. Abilities: Sorcerix is one of the most powerful Nobodies; she controls not only element of Nothingness as a result, but the elements of most lesser Nobodies. She is capable of traditional Nobody abilities, including summoning lesser Nobodies and summoning portals of darkness. She draws power from captured hearts, and her abilities increase beyond their normal capacity depending on the strength and quantity of the hearts she draws upon. -------- Crappy template; but it gets the point across. I have a feeling the battle itself will define the characters better than our meager templates. With your okay, I will post the opening |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | Go right ahead. This looks good, and yes, I think the battle would be a great way to define the characters inside. |

| Rank 1 | It was cool in the Dark City. The sea of skyscrapers seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. Those everlasting tall buildings, abandoned of true life, yet with the faintest remnants of electricity powering their flickering neon signs. The sky was dark as usual, the black canvas stretching over the shadowy city. The only other light that slid across the Dark City was that from the huge, heart-shaped moon that hung above the City. It's pale light gently gleamed, casting its soft glow along the sides of the skyscrapers... broken windows lit with its ethereal light. As the moon-beams permeated the dark alleyways, and the gentle scuttling of a few Heartless could be heard, yellow eyes gleaming in the darkness as they scrambled along the cement floors, attempting to stay away from the light. It was a quiet night in the Dark City. It always was... Atop the tallest skyscraper in the Dark City, a single figure stood. The light from the glowing moon seemed to reflect off o the dark black leather clinging tightly to her skin. Her womanly curves clad in a pair of dark black jean short-shorts, her pale white legs glowing with the moonlight. Silver chain-links caught the golden light of a broken neon sign as it encircled her waist, and the torn sleeves of the black leather jacket revealing equally pale skin clinging to her long, slim arms. Vibrant blue eyes, almost the same hue as the great moon hanging in the sky, and as they stared down at the darkness below her, a slight gust of wind tossed here short, spiked white hair backwards. Her silvery-gray, mixed in with sapphire blue streaks, were a sharp contrast to her dark clothes, and the jagged cut seemed to ripple in the wind, glowing slightly just as the recognizable symbol on her back did... "Pitiful creatures," she whispered, her blue eyes catching the the yellow gleam of a Heartless scurrying far below her, "Such mindless existence... and yet they posses what I hold above all..." Her voice was quiet, as smooth as oil on water, yet as cold as an Arctic Ocean. It held emotional anger, yet there was no true force behind it. A mask for her empty existence. Her eyes flickered once more, and she took another step forward, her figure silhouetted in the light of the gargantuan moon. "It's all I need..." she whispered to herself, looking out across the sea of urban darkness, "It's all I want..." |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | Down the main thoroughfare, opposite of the tall skyscraper silhouetted by the heart-shaped moon, the street was empty. It was the kind of empty that made you feel it, made its presence (or lack there-of) known. A simple wind blew along into the darkness. Heartless gathered and mindlessly toiled as they would, searching for something as always. They wouldn't find anything though except for a surprise. Their antennae shot up in alarm and they scurried from the spot. A moment later, the wind stopped blowing there and it grew dead and fell into a deeper nothingness than before then. The deafening nothingness seemed to be ripped in two, as a black tear forced itself upon reality there. Sparks and wisps of black smoke roiled forth from the spot in waves, pouring down the street. The rip widened itself and from it, stepped a figure with a black cloak cast over its form. A familiar Heartless insignia was stitched upon the back of it. The rip bled back together as the figure stood upright, and looked around, observing the empty city and all of its melancholy. He paid no mind to the shadows as they scampered about, sensing the presence of a more powerful being than themselves. They were as any animals in a communion -- they stepped down against the alpha male, which he was. The Heartless threw back his hood as he stared upwards to the top of the skyscraper. It was there that he found a target. She was a Nobody and he was Heartless. It was a perfect union of darkness. His short blondish spiky hair rustled as the breeze picked back up and he melted away into a puddle that slid into the shadows nearby. The puddle found itself behind the figure on top of the building, opposite of the top from her. It slowly formed back into the young man, without his cloak this time, standing in the odd and macabre outfit that he wore. He was a new kid on the block, so to speak. A special kind of Heartless. He looked at her with those cold and uncaring eyes and placed his hands on his hips as if bored and trying to think of something to say, teetering back and forth on the balls of his feet. He didn't speak for a moment, thinking of what to say. "So... you the only Nobody 'round these parts? I gotta couple'a questions to ask ya. The name's Lok, Warlok. I'm a new kinda Heartless, see... I'm whatcha'd call a Heartless Agent. I hunt. Answer my questions and ya won't end up being the hunted, m'kay?" He gave a half-cocky, half-reassuring smile as he stopped teetering back-and-forth on his feet and let his hands rest at his sides. He knew that Nobodies were dangerous. He had fought one some time ago and managed to smash them completely, but not without a couple of scuffs and bruises. Honestly though Warlok was surprised that any Nobodies were still around, they seemed to be dying off so easily these days. |

| Rank 1 | Wh- He appeared on the building opposite her. Sorcerix's blue eyes seemed to focus, dilating slightly as the fixed upon the dark figure that had taken form. The wind slow, her short hairs spikes gently flickering in the breeze, like a blue flame dancing in the wind. Her expression was blank for a mere moment, her body frozen; a statuette in that single moment in time. They stood there for a moment, opposite each other, on either side of this abysmal sea of darkness... The moon glimmered overhead, it's rays gliding down between them, as if offering them steps to reach each other. The man's words danced across these steps, a confident melody drifting towards her. "So... you the only Nobody 'round these parts? I gotta couple'a questions to ask ya. The name's Lok, Warlok. I'm a new kinda Heartless, see... I'm whatcha'd call a Heartless Agent. I hunt. Answer my questions and ya won't end up being the hunted, m'kay?" And the mask comes on... Sorcerix's lips twisted into a coy smile, and she raised a single pale eyebrow, letting her body shift to one leg, the natural curve of her hips accentuated as she brought a single hand to her lips, as if pondering the thought. Moonlight flooded across her body, highlighting every patch of white skin. Her legs were as smooth as fresh snow, the angelic skin slipping perfectly up the curves clad in the black short-shorts. Once cold eyes now glimmered with a curious fire, as if contemplating the words that this man had just offered. Leaning forward slightly, her voice rang over the two buildings, crossing the darkness even though it seemed as if her lips had only slightly parted. "Charmed, Lok," she called, a smile crossing her face as she let a slender pale hand bat him a small wave, "Call me Sorcerix; I"m the only notable Nobody presence here as you can see." She waved down at the dark streets below, her arms spread wide, as if attempting to show the scope of the world. There was only darkness... no glimmer of white existed besides herself and the wondrous floating moon above them. His hands rested casually at his side, and Sorcerix only smiled, placing her hands on her hips semi-mockingly, letting her hips sway slightly as she spoke once more. "New kind of Heartless, eh?" she said, grinning as she stepped forward, her white leg descending into the darkness almost at once, as if she was going to simply step off of the skyscraper. Instead the darkness rose up, tendrils of inky blackness enveloping her, swallowing her out of existence in a single moment. The tendrils rippled forth from behind Warlok, the darkness manifesting in a small portal a few yards behind him. A gleaming white, smooth leg stepped out, followed by the rest of Sorcerix, chain-belt glinting with the moonlight as she walked toward him, eyes alive with interest, her face twisted in a look of amused intrigue. "Ask me all the questions you need," she continued, letting a single white finger flick her earlobe as she slid him a look of daring, eyebrows raised, half-tauntingly. Careful how you tread Heartless... you're not the only one hunting... |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | Warlok watched the way she moved. Honestly, he liked it, too. Her curves and simple pale yet startlingly beautiful legs just left him in a slight daze. That flesh... he wanted to be all over it. She was only a female and he was sure he could over-power her but the question was how to do it? Thoughts ran into his head as he -- No, must remain on track. Damn personality! Warlok shook his head as he took hold of his attitude and persuasion once more. He breathed in quietly and then breathed out. So she was the only "notable" Nobody in the area. Knowing how they worked that probably meant there were lesser ones out there but no one of importance. He could only hope that much was true. His eyes watched her sexy and sly form as it vanished. He closed his eyes momentarily, feeling the darkness behind him and turned after she reappeared. "Ask me all the questions you need," He raised an eyebrow and mused to himself for a moment, before running a finger idly down the exposed parts of his chest. He cocked his head to the side for a moment, as if he were a cat, curious about its prey. His limber legs started to slowly tread around her, his arms behind his back. He nodded as if agreeing with something an invisible person had said. The moonlight glanced and gleamed off of the metal parts of his outfit -- hooks and chains and buttons -- giving him a slightly more ethereal look. He himself was pretty good-looking, especially for a Heartless. Maybe in a different light they could have been friends, or lovers even... Oh well. "Since the fall of Xemnas, what have you Nobodies been up to? I want to know what you're planning. My 'Master' would like to keep an eye on all the eggs in the basket at one time instead of having to hunt like an Easter party. Answer carefully and truthfull, Sorcerix," said Warlok as a small smile played upon his lips. Her name was Sorcerix, and his was Warlok. There was a kind of universal irony at play here and he didn't know if he enjoyed being a part of it. He kept pacing around her, awaiting her answer. |

My 'Master' would like to keep an eye on all the eggs in the basket at one time instead of having to hunt like an Easter party. Answer carefully and truthfull, Sorcerix." Sorcerix tossed her white jagged tresses slightly to the side, smile crossing her lips as well as Warlok drew closer. She allowed her eyes to roll over his exposed flesh, a flirtatious twinkle glimmering in those blue orbs. She drew a finger thoughtfully to her pursed lips, the other hand slipping against her hip as she looked into the sky. Darkness clouded the sky as well as the ground, as the moonlight shone down, glinting off of their ethereal forms as they stood there. The dual entities, creatures of torn humanity; remnants of their former selves. Non-existence... the shell masks the inside... "That's a name I haven't heard in a long time..." she murmured, her eyes glazing over in thought, as if reaching back for faraway memories, "That Nobody has long since returned to the darkness as you know. Since then, there's been no significant Nobody leader drawing them together. They simply do what they want; some try to exist again, as that Organization once did. Some simply go about their non-existence. Some..." she took another step forward, eyes sharpening as she drew closer to Warlok, lips creasing slightly as she let her eyes fall down his exposed chest, "even try to find lives... find love..." She let a finger rise, gently letting it trace down his exposed flesh, her blue eyes locking on his, skin shimmering beautifully in the moonlight as she leaned onto Warlok's chest, her lips whispering dangerously close to Warlok's... Feel that heart beating... Heartless, heartless... what power you posses... A single white light seemed to manifest around her finger. Twin tendrils of grayish white light seemed to curl up her finger, the thorns of twilight gently winding their way up his body, like a gentle serpent gliding its way up his body, small electric-like white energy thorns rippling as it spread upward, gently probing around him. It would be quite the tickle. "So, Lok," she whispered into his ear, the white-energy spreading upward in small harmless arcs, intertwining around his shoulder, "What does a Heartless Agent like yourself desire these days?" |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | His eyes watched everything she did and even those things she didn't. He could feel the whispers of things long past in his mind and in his heart. There was a small tickling sensation and... was it a heart? He could feel something inside of himself, or at least he imagined that he did. She ran her finger down his bare and well-formed chest and closed his eyes momentarily, as if actually thinking about her unsaid offer and tease. He let his hands down to his sides for a moment as relaxation overtook him and... Suddenly he was gone. He reappeared several feet away and he was in a defensive position. Lok shook his head and brought his hands up again. He cocked his head to the side and started to circle her from a wider position than where he once was. His hands were wrapped in black and then not -- in their place were two large angular blades. "I do what I am bidden to do. It is none of your concern as to what the Master and I are up to at the time. If my journies take me somewhere new, somewhere familiar, it is not my job to determine if it is worth it. It is simply to go do it. I would honestly do whatever they asked of me without questioning it. What do you do these days? My desires are not important. They never were. That is why I am a Heartless.
