Negative points?

I've seen people with stuff like, negative magic points, how do I do that? Whenever I try to go below Zero, it says I can't

they took off all of there stats on the points that is negative, and they have a weapon that takes off even more too that stat. (kinda like how some weapons are -7 str) ect.

I think it's based on the weapon. Example you have 5 magic equip a Pumpkinhead and it reduces to -6 mag. Although negative stats aren't exactly a good thing.

yeah its unnatural for u to go to the negative, it is the equips that does it

Pumpkinhead gives you -11 Magic.

Crab Claw, Decisive Pumpkin and Sleet Rods lower str by 9 each meaning you have have negative str with them. Other Equipment lowers HP like Floppy Hat and Gale Sword, you can have negative HP, just you'll be dead when you start a fight. Pumpkin head lowers magic by 11 so two of them could give you - 17 magic. GS takes 11 res away so you can have negative res. It's the mods on the weapons the are able to take you below the base stat of 5 points.
