Congratulatory Speech

As X stood up to the podium, he took the chance to look down on the many young and hopeful graduates, and couldn't help but smile. He quickly shook off the smile, and a calm and stern look was brought back onto his face, and he cleared his throat, although, technically, as a Reploid, there was no reason to do so, but it showed professionalism.

"Hello. I congratulate you all today, on this memorial occasion, as you are all now graduating, and moving into your respective positions as a member of one of the most elite military police known in the entire world, even aknowledged by the most powerful nation in Waltier, the Disney Kingdom. After today, you will perform to the best of your abilities, in order to fight for those who cannot protect themselves, and to make sure that order is maintained in the world."



"The history of the Maverick Hunters is a long one. We were formed after the creation of the race of beings we call Reploids, originally concieved by Dr.Cain of Waltier, who based Reploids off of my very design. Unlike other machines, Reploids can think, act, feel, and choose for themselves. They were independent, unlike other machines, which could only operate on what their programming told them to. Reploids are the first sentient machines known on the earth, and we soon became to coexist with the other sentient beings on this world, creating two distinct species in society, organics, or the blanket term, "Humanity", and Reploids. We existed together in peace. That was, until the first Mavericks, Reploids who were willing to harm humanity, appeared. To combat these, the Maverick Hunters were formed. We are charged with the purpose of stopping those who wished to threaten the peace between humanity and Reploids."



"To this day, we have dealt with the major Maverick uprisings caused by the dreaded Maverick Virus, and upheld peace and justice across the globe. Our duties have even been expanded to include dealing with Heartless threats, to help assist with other needed nations. We have a great and colourful history, and I can only hope that this will only continue, with you."

X paused, and looked down into the young faces of the recruits.



"That is all I have to say for you. Just remember, you are here to maintain the peace between humanity and Reploids. Never forget this. If you do, you may find yourself becoming corrupt. Corruption is the seed of Maverick behavior."


X smiled again. He felt great promise with these recruits. Maybe with them, the fighting would finally end.

Section 1-1.2

Duties of a Maverick Hunter

Duties are to be followed by all Cadets. Refusal to adhere to the duties or repeated violations may result in expulsion from the Maverick Hunters.

• Obedience – Maverick Hunters obey all rules of the Inferno and of their Commanding Officers
• Respect – Maverick Hunters respect and treat others the way they should be. They do not harass, they do not insult.
• Honor – Maverick Hunters fight and operate with honor in all things. They do not cheat, not even in battle versus Mavericks.
• Protection – Maverick Hunters place the innocent and defenseless above all else on missions. Non-Reploids are priority.

Section 1-1.3

Being a Maverick Hunter

This is NOT a clan and not just anyone can join. You must prove yourself in combat versus Zero and X before being allowed in. Once you are in you are free to post in this thread. All those who are not members are NOT given permission to post in this thread. You will be given a warning for the first violation and a permanent ban from joining the clan on the next. In addition, those members given posting rights in this thread must NOT post Spam. Only Hunter related business is to be posted here. No well wishing, no silly posts. No posts under 25 legitimate characters. If you wish to say something here, make sure it is thought out.

You are not required to put anything in your name signifying you are a member of the Hunters. Again, this is NOT a clan and is not treated as such. We will not compete for turf or be listed in the Primer. All members must obey these rules or else they may get kicked from the Hunters. This is your warning. If you manage to attain a high enough rank to receive a special edition equipment, you will only be allowed to use it on Hunter missions and in PVP battles. If you use it in any other mode of play, you run the risk of getting it confiscated. You will only be given one warning.

All Cadets are required to hone their skills in order to gain new ranks. New ranks allow Hunters to take on more advanced missions and earn greater rewards. Failure to keep up with training may result in expulsion from the Maverick Hunters.

Section 3-1.3

Application Details

Name: Any name you wish to be called while you are a member of the Maverick Hunters. This could be a code name, or your actual name. Certain Names may not be allowed (Mega Man, Zero, other names taken or belonging to actual characters)

Element: Ice, Fire, Thunder, Wind, Earth, Water, Light, and Dark are all allowed types. Whichever you select will be the only element you will be allowed to focus on when in battles. It is wise to set your stats up to work well with this element. A maximum of two elements may be chosen. No more.

Weapon Proficiency: Weapon of choice. You are allowed any choice of one handed or two handed weaponry. If it has not been chosen yet, you will receive your Reploid part of that weapon type once you acquire the correct Ranking. If you wish to challenge another hunter for their weapon rank, you may do so with the consent of the Commanding Officers. If you do not choose a weapon type, you will not receive a special part.

Battle Classification: This can be Warrior, Mage, Enchant user... anything you will use in battle. Take this seriously as it will be strictly enforced on Maverick Hunter missions. Be as specific as possible.

Follow all guidelines as closely as possible, otherwise you may be denied access into the Hunters. You MUST select an element or two, otherwise your training will be extremely strenuous. You MUST choose a weapon type, otherwise you do not get the Reploid part. You MUST describe your fighting style and adhere to it strictly on all Hunter Missions under threat of being expelled from the Hunters. Choose wisely.

Training mission assigned. First level is rather easy, second will be harder/more time consuming. It's hard to get training assignments for you and Serza considering your magics are rather good to begin with.

A shipment of Mettool Ts have started showing Maverick behaviour. HQ wishes for you to collect 50 samples from them, and take them to Alia. We need to figure out whether this is a virus at work, or sabotage. Zero has already been dispatched, and has quaratined the area in the First District. Contact him to be allowed within the mission limits.

A recon mechaniloid has been shot down. We are unable to pinpoint where it has landed, and have dispatched several mechaniloids to search for it. It contains vital information on local Maverick activity, and could spell disaster if Mavericks pick it up. Locate it, and bring it to Alia so that the information it has gathered may be analysed.

Freeze Fox reporting! The lost Recon Mechaniloid has been recovered and returned to Alia at HQ. We ran into some trouble with a ride armor though. Nothing we couldn't handle.
