Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | This will hopefully be the last update needed to chapters 1 and 2. Especially in terms of equipment. The mods for the equipment are getting slightly out of control and would need to be increased well over what they are currently in chapter 2. The problem exists in that at level 101, the player will have 500 AP to distribute to their stats, and with current and future equips, they will receive an extra 1/5th of that in equipment. This leads to massive stats and whatnot, which shouldn't happen just yet in chapter 2. As such, I have retooled all equipment and will be implementing them shop by shop. Weapon types now function uniformly through chapters 1 and 2. Hopefully with the lowered net AP gain from equips, people will have to think a little bit harder instead of throwing 300-400 points into strength and blowing through the game. Other "recent" updates is the arts cap set at 5, which is more than enough to help keep boss battles nice and challenging. This also allows the team to make new buff spells that buff more than 50 points of stats. The problem with making it before is that people could easily equip every spell they have and double/triple buff endlessly since they have access to everything. This shouldn't effect anyone negatively. When magic training, it's smarter to train ONE magic at a time. If needed, you can train Aspil and that spell, which is only 2. There should be no complaints about this little cap. In addition, this cap holds true to pets as well, so keep that in mind. Pets can only have 5 arts equipped. Once the equips are finally finished with chapters 1 and 2 the team can devote its time towards working on the next installment and additional side quests. |

| Keyblade Wielder | I hate to say it, but wouldn't it be better just to have a STR cap for chapter 2, like the level cap for chapter 1? I mean, raising the difficulty level of the heartless makes it insanely tough on the people who have not gotten to level 90+. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | D is talking about only raising the Heartless strength in the last area of the chapter. By then, everyone will be level 90, so it won't effect everyone. A strength cap is kinda lame because then that means we have to take strength mods away from all weapons/accessories to stop people from going over it. IF we capped that, eventually we'd end up capping all of the stats because people would use other methods to get around the difficulty factor we set into the game. |
