Rep Power: 10 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | Alright kids, I know you've all (for the most part) played the Inferno here at least 100 times before, so I'd like to ask a very simple question: What was your favorite world? We're only going back as far as Waltier, since that's all I personally know. If any old school vets want to contribute, feel free to. So. Basically vote and then post why you voted for what you voted for. Discussion about worlds is key. Also, Deep Jungle doesn't count. |

| pro brol | I say Besaid because it challenged the User to get the main area. Passing through a vast amounts of fields with alot of enemies that dropped very good items. Farming over there was incredible! I stick my vote on Besaid |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() Level: 14 EXP: | I go with Agrahbah because that was the last area of chapter 1 and thats where many equips, spells, a pet(chocobo ftw), you had to be a high level just to stand a chance, and Henskie was there :D that well techniqually in bitwixt and between but you had to go through Agrahbah for it |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | Nope. Not a "pick which one stays" it's more of a why you liked certain places and why you didn't like others. Example is I loved Halloween Town because the equipment and the backgrounds were beautiful and made me feel like I was in Halloween Town. I didn't like Traverse Town because it was way too small. Things like this. Quests and all that are involved. I want to take information into consideration when designing new worlds. |

| Enigmatic Soldier | So you just want to know what makes a world interesting or likable for reference in the newferno worldmaking? Oh, good. I can't really decide one world I'd like best since all of them worked in synergy to me. The secret espers quests - Valefor, Leviathan (?), Ifrit and the rock snake - definitely made Besaid, Atlantica, and DJ favorable. But there's one that was particularly interesting - the futuristic utopia. The newer system of travel, "high caliber" equipment, and mark hunting as well as the whole giant Omega quest did it. What was the name of that last world in oldferno, btw? |

| †The Jack of all Trades† | Well, honestly, I didn't like any of the worlds, really. >_> They were all either really short or obnoxiously long and straightforward. Besaid was just a straight chain with enemies in every area that were naught more than a nuisance at that point, Deep Jungle/Wonderland/Agrabah/Traverse Town were all WAY too short. Halloween Town was underwhelming, really. The only reason I ever even went there was to get the new equipments. That hound guy was a jerk, but really that was the only thing there. The sidequest was so simple it wasn't even worth being a quest. Monstro was definitely a close second in terms of my favorite worlds, since it incorporated a puzzle into an area with tough monsters. It was definitely fun. I barely remember Neverland, which I take to mean I didn't like it much. All I remember of it was Zeke haxxing uberly to take out Hook. I never finished Besaid and Gagazet, since it began to bore me. :\ The area was just so long and obnoxious that it wasn't even worth it to me. You have to walk from the map location in Besaid back like... 10-20 screens just to get to the three-screen-long side-track to where the gate would be to get into Gagazet. Then Gagazet was pretty fun and pretty awesome all things considered. Atlantica was my favorite, though. Partly because of the Crab Claw quest, which was pretty fun to do, going around to collect the different rare-drops from the three different guys was pretty fun. xD It wasn't an obnoxious place to get through, since it was small, and the monsters were pretty formidable before you cleared the place, actually. That sub-boss crab was cool, albeit easy. Then there was Ursula, who was pretty tough to take down. Even then, there was the revisit where you'd come back and go off to fight against Leviathan, who was really fun to fight and get to, though again, his dungeon was too straightforward and annoying, due to it being 5-6 screens of straight walking filled with monsters. I loved the Leviathan summon as well, though, so it was worth it. in b4 tl;dr |
