please help a noob

hey, i'm new here and i just hav to ask wth am I doing wrong on the rpg? i got no money, no weapons, i get raped by everything i fight ( except in the training hall, where all i get is one AP ya?) so if oyu can help me that'd b much appreciated.

For starters,the thing you did wrong was going into Traverse Town at your level.You should stay and fight in the training hall.Since you are level 2 you should fight the faux shadow and faux soldier until you get around level 5 or 6.Then you should fight the Basic Trainer 1.2 until you get enough knot of rusts to be able to get you better equipment.After you get the better equipment go back to the Training Hall and try to train the arc that you obtained to level 9.Once it is at level 9 you can equip it and it raises your stats.The next thing for you to do is go to Traverse Town and try to level up there.

You need to train on the faux heartless in the training hall before going any where else. Use the infirmary to heal from each and every fight.

I'm not sure how you don't have money or weapons.... to get money easily, fight the training bots roaming the area. (the ones in the section that has a "Hunt" button underneath.) when you start getting items from them, sell the items to get money. they are easy to kill, just hit them in th arms and they will die instantly. They cannot inflict damage and , if your level is low enough, will give you some exp. they also tend to drop several copies of their item at once, so try earning at least thirty copies of the item before selling ALL copies of it. I think the item is called Knot of Rust.
