How to Create a Squadron

Everything You Need to Know about Squadrons
Many types of people board the Insider every day to sign up for the glorious life of a man (or woman) of the air. Few, however, manage to be successful. Those who are successful eventually offer their services to their peers and form Squadrons. Squads are small groups of likeminded people who work together for a common goal. Often Squads are chosen to do more advanced missions than the stragglers.

How do I create a Squad!?
To create a Squad, first you should know it costs munny to create one. Currently the price to create a Squad is:

1,000 Munny

The price increases every two squadrons that are formed. Once you have secured the funds, you will PM one of the staff members with a template for your Squad. It will then be analyzed and evaluated by the RPG Team and if passes, will be allowed to be created. Do not create a Squad Thread unless it has been approved, otherwise you run the risk of never being allowed to create a Squad. Ever.

The Start Up Munny will grant you the space to post your Squad Thread and Five (5) Member Slots. The Squad Leader does NOT count towards the Member Cap.


How Do I Get More Members?
You must pay if you wish to accommodate more members into your Squadron. You may do this at any time. Please consult the following list for prices.

1 Slot	300 Munny
2 Slots	450 Munny
5 Slots	900 Munny
10 Slots	1650 Munny
15 Slots	2200 Munny

How Many Members can we have in a Squad?
You are only allowed 20 MEMBERS in a Squad. For every day that your Squad is over your allotted Member Cap, you will be fined Squad Points. The Squad Leader will be notified if a full day goes by while the Squad is over cap.

What Should I Include in my Application?
Your “Application” will be the text of your first post of the thread. You must have the following if you need a guide:

Name of Squad: [Nothing Offensive Allowed.]
Squad Tag: [No more than Four (4) Characters INCLUDING Parenthesis.]
Rules: [Must contain KHI and Inferno’s rules. In addition to any the Leader wishes]
Membership List: [Must Contain INFERNO Profile Lookups at the very least]

No, you don’t need to include the exact 5 members when you ask for an application. Look to existing Squads for examples.

Other Information for Reference
If the Squad Leader is banned, the Squad will be suspended indefinitely. If the Squad Leader returns from ban, the Squad may be reinstated, but will have to pay a re-entry fee equal to half of the current Squad Creation Start Up Cost.

A Squad may have a Substitute Leader is the Squadron Leader is going to be absent.

The Squad Leader is responsible for his entire Squad. Keep your underlings in line, less you be the one to face their punishment.

If a Squad is found to be promoting Members to have their RPG Player Names over 20 Characters long (excluding Squad Tag), the Squad will be fined for every character over limit.

Squad Threads are meant for SQUAD RELATED business only. You may create a “Squad Discussion” Thread for non-Squad related matters. Anyone breaking this rule runs the risk of getting his or her SQUAD Disbanded.

If the amount of Squadrons falls under the pre-determined number, the Squad Start Up Cost will be lowered accordingly. All Funds paid to the Squad Funds are non-refundable.

Anyone who creates a Squadron and doesn’t read all of these rules are still going to be held to them accordingly. It’s your choice not to read, just the same as it’s our choice to allow or disallow your plea to become a Squad.
